    This is a powerful, emotional, breathtaking game that delivers on all the promise of the first one (which was terrific too but I don't think affected me in quite the same way) It's not a game I'd play for a light bit of shooty fun, but that's quite obviously the point. There were definite points in the game where going through it felt draining and hard emotionally but it's incredible that a game can now achieve that level of empathy and immersion. There were points where I definitely questioned decisions in how the game is structured and how I felt about certain characters, but I was always left convinced. This game treats the player as an adult who can handle characters that are flawed, not instantly likeable or just irritating. Regardless of how I felt initially about characters initially, my thoughts and feelings were constantly changing and being questioned and I felt something for all of them. This game is an experience like no other I've played and while I think it'll be a while before I (if ever) play through it again, I'll never forget this playthrough and it will stay with me forever.

    Ignore the petty backlash from strange men arriving to this game with preconceptions and prejudices, and who have in most cases haven't played it. If you have an open mind and are looking for something to make you question and think about human fallibility, emotional conflict and so on, then definitely pick this up.    … Expand

    True gamers will like this game for sure. This is a truthful sequel. If u don't like the shock. Better play last of us 2. There will be no difference in the story if there is no shock in part 2. last of us 2 is masterpiece

    I was worried about the leaks but I decided not to look too much into it and pre-ordered it anyway. Went to it with an open mind and oh boy! This game deserves the title of masterpiece, I don't think I have experienced such an emotional turmoil for a game ever. Don't let people tell you the story is bad, it's very well written, heart wrenching and deeply disturbing. The cinematographicI was worried about the leaks but I decided not to look too much into it and pre-ordered it anyway. Went to it with an open mind and oh boy!     Great game. Graphic, sound and animations are incredible. The plot is nothing new or original but is masterfully narrated. Maybe 10/10 is too high, probably 9.5 could be better because like any other game isnt perfect.

    Graficamente el juego es bello y creo que exprime totalmete la potencia en graficos al maximo de esta generación junto con Red read redemption 2 .La historia de este juego no es complicada de entender y no es tampoco algo para cultos pero esta bien lograda como lo sabe hacer Noughty Dog y Neil que no tiene competencia y se arriesgaron ya que ellos sabían que iba ver controversia y es algo que no se ve en ninguna otra plataforma así que no vengan con que ZELDA o Animal crossing BOBOS ! es como si compararan One Pice con Loney toons .

    Not sure why this game has received the amount of hate that it has when it had such a complex story and characters as well as fantastic gameplay. It's a game that when you finish you cannot stop thinking about and although it is dark, you want to replay it again straight afterwards to see if your feelings have changed from the first play.     I wish could love this game but I can't. The whole second half was a deception, and even if you don't like it you have to do it, there is no other choice or maybe you can stop playing the game before the second half and imagine the rest of the story.

This is the first time I have felt the need to express my opinion online about a game that fell short of my expectations; like The Last of Us Part 2. With all my decades worth of gaming when I sat down to play The Last of Us in 2014, I had never been so emotionally connected to a story in a game and its characters. It left a lasting impression in the way it perfectly pulled me in to experience every hope,fear and gut wrenching sadness that Joel and Ellie did. It is the only game in my collection that I played more than once....4 times in fact, and each time I played was just as enthralling as the previous. It didn't achieve this with only it spectacular visuals, fun game play, haunting music, perfect voice acting....all of that would have been hollow without the superbly crafted story that brought everything else together. I needed to provide some context before I shared my thoughts about The Last of Us 2. I went into this game completely spoiler free. Trusting in the developers to open my heart once again to another chapter in a story that I didn't want to end. When credits rolled on this game was left wrecked emotionally... feeling akin to a pet I loved for 7 years was just put down. The first game left the player with something special and this game takes that away and snuffs it out. Again without knowing anything about 2 aside from the release trailers; I went into this expecting Joel to die in some way(it just made sense for the progression of the story); so I am not upset that he was killed. But the hows and the whys of his death felt so rushed and awkward. I doubt that I have anything to say that hasn't already been said about having to play the villain of the game when the story doesn't provide to any way empathize with her and see through the cloud of anger you are made to feel for the character. They light the fuse for the bomb in the most concocted and unbelievable manner, setting you on a path to revenge and then expect the player to have an epiphany in the last 10 seconds (translate to hours of game play) before the bomb goes off (getting said revenge) and stop to reflect on why the fuse was lit. Then to top it off when time catches back up the player is forced to beat down the last remaining shell of a character in the game they care anything for. I've spent a number of hours post Last of Us 2 trying to reconcile my thoughts and listen to both sides of opinions on the game and I have found things I can agree with on both sides. But at the end of the day... I have un-installed this game, will never look at it again, wish that I had never played it, and could never recommend to anyone that loved the first one to ever set eyes on it and especially not spend hard earned money on it. If a sequel is made I will not be buying it, unless their is an indication that the story is a re do; and this one never happened. But even then I don't feel that I can trust Naughty Dog the same way anymore. The promotional material for this game was extremely deceptive after now seeing the finished product. I truly believe that the vision of this game was drastically changed mid production and there is a Last of Us 2 in the ether that could have been, but was drowned (the way that the Villain should have been) before it could be fully realized.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Having only played part 1 of this franchise about 3 years ago, i did not have to wait as long as a lot of other fans. Those 3 years were filled with pure excitement, anticipation and, of course, impatience. I absolutely loved part 1. It nestled its way close to my heart, and part 2 is no different. I put almost 32 hours into this game and I loved every single second of it. The story was nothing I could have ever expected. When they revealed that the doctor Joel had killed, was Abby's father I audibly gasped. I have smiled and shed tears throughout the whole game. Happiness and sadness were both prominent. Not to mention relief. I absolutely hated Ellie for leaving the farm, for leaving the seemingly perfect life she had with Dina and JJ, but I knew she had to go after Abby again. I felt it coming but still hated it. The Ellie boss fight was one of the hardest battles I had ever had to fight, or so I thought. The final fight against Abby certainly takes that spot. I cannot describe how desperate I was for Ellie to stop fighting. Every punch she landed made me sick to my stomach. I didn't want her to kill Abby so I just kept making her dodge Abby's punches, hoping the game would somehow sense that she, that I, didn't want any of this happening. Relief coursed through my body when Ellie stopped, realising that killing Abby would amount to an even greater loss. In the end, letting Abby live was what Ellie needed the most, which we can conclude when looking at Ellie's journal when she visits the farm again. This was one hell of a game and I applaud anyone involved in the making of it. No game, or any other type of media, is ever perfect but this game comes incredibly close. Here's to more games like this, and maybe a part 3 someday, please?… Expand

I’m glad Naughty Dog took the risks they did and told their story, not what other people wanted.     I read the spoilers online before this game's release and was extremely worried that ND had destroyed the franchise. After finishing the game, I realized that the execution of everything was downright perfect and that reading angry people's reports of what they thought of the story isn't a reliable way of getting in contact with the game.     I wish I liked this. To me this game is less than the sums of its parts. I'm not mad that a specific character died or anything like that. I'm just disappointed. I wish they did a game less bold, because to me, the writing failed big time. The writers wanted me to feel empathy towards a character and I tried, I really tried, but I felt nothing for that character. Just wanted thatI wish I liked this.     The gameplay way enjoyable, I liked the stealth mechanics as it gives you more options to go for.
    As for the story it was lacking in places, I felt joels death was a bit rushed and happened too early in the game. Playing the story as abby got boring as I felt it was way too long.
    All the hate for the transphobia that people are hating the game for, 1) it was for once scene that character was deadnamed. 2) the people that were deadnaming the character are part of a **** cult. 3) it's a **** game!!!
    The ending I felt was done wrong, The game should have finished up at the house, ellie going to california wasn't necessery. Leaving it how it did didn't sit right with me.    … Expand

    I played both TLOU and TLOU2 in Grounded difficulty and beat the game so don't tell me im doing negative review and never played the game, please. The worst thing in this game is that the story is so meaningless that make the story of first chapter meaningless too. All suffering and efforts of the protagonists, from first chapter, are totally vain with this epilogue.     I loved the gameplay, bud hated the story, they made my favorite character into a **** of a woman even Abby was made a **** i hated the conclusion of the story and where it was going in the game. I hated the end story of the game, when your playing for hours with a character you hope on a good ending bud no ending like that.

Фанаты ждали версии для фанатов, а на слуху была ЛГБТ повестка (чья роль не оказывает весомого влияния на сюжет и игру в целом). Повествование серой морали всегда было очень трудной задачей, учитывая, насколько игрок сблизился и привязался к Джойлу и Элли, смерть первого в начале игры была мотивацией отомстить. Но игра не даёт нам этого варианта и, по сути, раскрывает нам второго персонажа - Эбби. Здесь я хочу уточнить, что только при личном прохождении игры можно одинаково понять обеих героинь и полностью осознать смысл игры. Игра в полной мере раскрывает нам смысл высказывания - «Жестокость порождает ещё большую жестокость», потому и не даёт нам убить Эбби, а только ее близких друзей. Проходя игру, я ощутил на себе всю тягость, всю боль при нажатии кнопки удара за Элли в самом конце игры и то, как она отпускает Эбби и Леву. Я был полностью доволен тем, что Элли не прервала цепочку развития событий Эбби и Левы, которые, в свою очередь, являются неким аналогом Джойла и Элли. Если говорить о геймплее - пара новых механик, геймплей технически прежний из первой части (что очень мне понравилось), оценку снижаю только из за некоторой затянутость сюжета, которая, возможно, была необходима, но я этой надобности не почувствовал. От игры получил все, что хотел и все, что я ждал произошло. Спасибо разработчикам за взрослую историю для созревших умов.… Expand

Last of us part 2 undid what the first one accomplished: good story, excellent character development, a father/daughter relationship between Joel and Ellie. Keep in mind I did see the leaks and I knew how the story would go but it's totally different seeing it play out. Some of thing I will say people will not agree with but keep in mind this is just a game and not real life. As soon as abby killed Joel I was mad and filled with rage. Soon as I started my journey for revenge you have no idea how bad I wanted to make abby suffer. Soon as we do confront abby as ellie that's where things went downhill for me. We play as abby for what felt like forever. Just for the heck of it I just let her fall off a ledge or let the infected have their way with her. I even let ellie kill her multiple times. Yes, you have to fight ellie as abby and that is not cool. Like many of you out there I didnt care about abby or why she killed Joel. Soon as she killed Joel I wanted her dead. Going back to ellie, there are times where she becomes dark like when she killed nora. You have no idea how satisfying that was for me. Or when she killed mel. Ellie only defended herself and she had no idea mel was pregnant but that didnt phase me. Her fault for attacking ellie in the first place. I felt no guilt in killing dogs who were trying to kill me. Kill or be killed. For the most part this game is my element. However it was all ruined in the final part. You get to fight abby as ellie and she let her go. I killed all these people with no hesitation and I can't kill the one person that started this journey of mine. Story should have ended when you saw them at the farm.… Expand

Abby's pregnant friend slaughtered by Ellie, but Abby still spare Ellie's life in the theater like crazy! Tommy tried to protect Ellie and let her stay away from revenge, but in the end, the crazy Tommy even forces married Ellie to revenge, again! AND have a family with Dina, Ellie should be able to understand more about "Joel's love to family, to her". But the crazy Ellie who even spared life by Abby TWICE, but still, abandon her family to revenge!? If Ellie can even abandon the love to her family for revenge, then, how could Ellie let Abby go when Joel's image flashing in mind? The craziest part is cunning like Joel says his real name to an armed group. Every character has gone insane with Neil. What a trash story ruin the while game!!… Expand

I did feel that the pacing was dragging on certain chapters, and the game could have benefited from a chronological narrative. On the whole, I would recommend this to people who truly love and understand the first game. La realidad es que este juego ha tenido la mala suerte de enfrentarse a diversos factores que han provocado que muchos lo hayan jugado sin realmente tener una mentalidad abierta de que les puede gustar. Si juegas a algo esperando odiarlo, créeme que lo vas a odiar. Es un juego realista, duro, sobre la venganza y la pérdida. No está hecho para que quieras a Abby a la fuerza, sino para que sepas el por qué de sus acciones. Los creadores te proporcionan la información y tú decides qué hacer con ella. Una pena que todos no hayan podido ver más allá de: "ha matado a Joel, Abby merece morir". Los personajes son grises, no hay héroes, no hay villanos. Te dan la oportunidad de entender las circunstancias de cada grupo de personas, de dónde vienen, su naturaleza... y eso no hace su viaje menos lícito. Es comprensible no disfrutar el juego, pero si lo odias, ódialo por razones que de verdad sean factibles, no porque Joel no haya muerto heroicamente o porque te obligan a jugar como Abby. La cruda realidad es que así es la muerte, en un momento estás y al siguiente ya no, menos de la mitad de las muertes en la vida real son heroicas, sobre todo en este universo post-apocalíptico.
    Incluso admito que no era la historia que yo quería que contaran, pero es la historia que he recibido y no me ha disgustado. De ahí la puntuación.
    De verdad, no escuchéis a los haters por ser los que están hablando más alto, muchos de ellos ni han jugado el juego, solamente saben x factores de la historia que no les gustan porque a "nadie" le gustan. For me the story was the main selling point of this series, and because of that I'm hugely disappointed, and honestly also somewhat angry. If you don't care about the story though, you might enjoy it.

    Question: How to ruin the second game?
    Answer: 1) Remove Joel + Ellie's relationship by replacing them with character's we've never met or seen before. 2) Forget about finding a cure.

    Now the story is centred around Ellie's desire for revenge and there are flash backs to her and Joel and these are the best moments in the game. But for half the game, we focus on people we didn't come to see AFTER they've already killed Joel.

    And we're supposed to like them?

    It's frustrating because the production value is insane, all the actors are amazing, the gameplay is solid and the music is beautiful. The scenery and level design are some of the best ever.    … Expand

I’m also all for lesbian relationships, buff women, trans people and people from all backgrounds race, sexuality any of that.. but when you noticeably force it down our throats it doesn’t work and ends up being in the game just because.. also I’m displeased having to watch my favourite character Joel die in the first hour only then having to play as the character who kills him. For 10 HOURS!!! I forced myself to get over it after the first hour playing as Abbie but then it got boring and I was simply rushing things to try and get back to playing as Ellie again.. shouldn’t have to feel like I have to rush things in order to get past a certain section of a game.. no player should have to deal with that.. also trying to force us to like Abby NEVER worked.. because of how blatantly FORCED it was.. and it was so obvious that Abbie was being painted as this saint after killing Joel, while Ellie was painted as the bad girl who kills all the dogs which we see Abbie pet and play with later on.. talk about manipulation at its finest.. the graphics, music and AI are the only reason this game gets a 4 from me other wise I’d give it a straight 0… Expand

The last of us Part 2 es un juego que al igual que el primero, no se trata solo de lograr el objetivo principal en cuestión sino que la historia brilla por lo que el viaje de ellie y abby representan. Considero que este juego no debe ser juzgado solo por lo que las primeras impresiones pueden brindar, ni por el final que pueda tener sino que es una obra que merece ser analizada de principio a fin. Se nota mucho el increíble trabajo que hay detrás de este juego, gráficamente hablando se ve hermoso, las animaciones de los personajes están extremadamente pulidas y las nuevas mecánicas agregadas en el gameplay resultan muy atractivas y lo bastante cautivadoras como para manenerte jugando por bastante tiempo. Una de las muchas cosas que existen en el juego y de lo que no he visto que muchas personas hablen, son los nuevos tipos de infectados. En lo personal las nuevas amenazas resultadas de mutaciones del virus cordyceps me han parecido un excelente agregado a la temática y gameplay del juego, más sin embargo considero que estos nuevos agregados están ahí solo por la jugabilidad y carecen de propósito o explicación alguna. Por ejemplo, yo al jugar la primera entrega me asombré de todas las amenazas que los desarrolladores agregaron pero a la vez me asombraba el nivel de detalle que le ponían a la hora de dar una explicación del porque es que existían y el como interactuabán, es decir, los corredores, acechadores, chasqueadores y gordinflones existen debido a que el virus Cordyceps muta constantemente y dependiendo de el tiempo que el huespéd esté infectado es la etapa en la cual se encontrará. Me tomó por sorpresa el hecho de que en esta segunda entrega de la saga no se buscara mucho darle un origen a estas nuevas mutaciones tales como los tambaleantes y el rey rata, ya que si bien son muy interesantes y buenos agregados en lo personal los llegué a sentir en ciertas partes forzados. Mi principal queja con el juego es meramente con su cuestión narrativa, ya que en lo personal considero que la trama de Abby, si bien es buena, si es alargada innecesariamente en busca de que logremos empatizar con ella pero honestamente nunca pude llegar a ese punto jugando con el personaje. Si bien, si comprendí el porque Abby hizo lo que hizo nunca llego a gustarme el peronaje por completo y las horas de gameplay que tenemos con ella fácilmente se pudieron haber reducido a la mitad ya que ciertos puntos como el amorío con Owen resultan bastante innecesarios y agregados por agregar. ¿Realmente era necesario que hubiera un triángulo amoroso entre Owen, Mel y Abby? Pudieron solamente haber dejado muy en claro que Owen es un viejo amigo muy apreciado por Abby y su muerte hubiera tenido el mismo peso que tiene dentro de la historia. Pero en fin, como conclusión puedo decir que The last of us Part 2 es un juego que brilla por su gameplay, mecánicas agregadas, nuevos tipos de enemigos, una música espléndida y perfecta por parte de Gustavo Santaolalla y una historia que si bien no es mejor que la primera y si tiene sus fallos y momentos innecesarios funciona muy bien y brinda un excelente desarrollo de personajes al igual que un mensaje extremadamente relevante. Agradezco todo el esfuerzo que Naughty Dog y todos los contribuyentes dentro de la empresa le pusieron al videojuego y espero que muchas personas le puedan dar la oportunidad al juego que se merece.… Expand

Playing abby was also very fun since we never really see the villains side of the story on a game and seeing her pov made the game different. In my opinion i feel like most of the fans don’t understand what naughty dog have done by making this game different to most games but i love this game! it’s not as good as the first one but it’s probably my 3 favourite game… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Where to start. I guess to give my opinion on the whole "killing characters" controversy. Having Joel die is fine, honestly. The writers clearly wanted to have that as the main driving point of the story and for the spotlight to be on Ellie rather than Joel.

    The story-telling as a whole was poorly structured. I liked the flashbacks of moments that have relevance in character development. Although I feel like there should have been more mystery. Maybe not open with the previous game's main character dying. Like I said, it's fine he did, but maybe give the players a moment to get back into the game, the story, the franchise and reconnect with the characters. That way, the death would have made much more impact on the audience.

    Okay. Onto the worst part - Abby. Just... why? Why the **** do we play as the main antagonist? Half the game was spent playing as her and I hated every single moment of it. Remove her parts, and you've got a pretty good (but still not great) game.

    Keeping on the Abby subject but also going back to the story's structure, if you want us to care about a newly introduced character, maybe develop their character BEFORE you show their bad side? It's clear they wanted us to care about her otherwise we wouldn't have seen so much of her personal relationships, such as that with Owen.

    If anything, they should have made us play Abby's parts either before Ellie's parts, or play each character day by day. Playing as Abby and having radio calls about an event you later play through as Ellie would have been really interesting. Also, don't leave us on a ****ing cliffhanger with Abby finding Ellie, Dina, Tommy and Jesse at the theater to then play the second half of the game. When that happened I was so ****ing frustrated and just wanted to know what happens. If they brought both character's story-lines to that point simultaneously - that would've been great. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of players stopped playing when it got to Abby's half of the game. The only thing driving me through her parts was wanting to know what happens, I didn't give a **** what was actually happening DURING Abby's parts.

    The gameplay overall was fine. It kept to the tried and true gameplay of the first game. I appreciated the fact they didn't try to change the formula to something completely unrecognisable from the first game.

    The graphics and environments were incredible.

    Overall, fine game. Enjoyable for half of it, emotional ending (though not as emotional as the ending of the first). I feel like they could have done a much better job with the story they had if they just structured it a bit better.    … Expand

    I can see why people didn’t like the end but as life itself this game doesn’t give you the full satisfaction. I saw lots of critics on the characters development but I think all the people disliking the game just wanted to keep loving Ellie’s character.

Мне очень понравилась эта игра, в ней практически всё прекрасно, персонажи прописаны интересно, у каждого персонажа есть мотивация, и его действия объяснены. Лучший геймплей из всех сыгранных мной игр, в эту игру интересно играть, ты не ставишь минимальную сложность чтобы просто смотреть фильм, игра является хорошим продолжением первой части, она делает всё по другому, не просто повторяет что-то добавляя, что как по мне более хороший выбор. Единственное с чем у меня смешанные эмоции, это финал, я хоть и не профессиональный сценарист, но разве не лучше, что элли бы всё осознала, и просто отпустила Эбби? Хотя скорее всего это сделано для того чтобы показать полную неразбериху с эмоциями и действиями Элли. После прочтения многих негативных отзывов, у меня сложилось впечатление, что большинство даже не играли в игру, никто не сможет объективно доказать правильность и объективность своего мнения и рецензии соответственно.… Expand

    I enjoyed a lot this game, i really think that the gameplay and graphic got a big improvement, the narrative isn't as good as it was in tlou, but it is still realy good, i don't think that it deserves less than a 6 but neither more than a 8, really good game, and i'll play many times. All the 0 are from joel widows and 10 are from fanboys

Я считаю смелой и оригинальной идею заставить игрока играть за персонажа из противоположного лагеря и столкнуть его с уже полюбившимся персонажем из первой части и начала этой игры. Бессмысленность существования, крах цивилизации, жестокость и месть, не знающие границ, мракобесие, милитаризм, ад на земле. Русскоязычное название даёт достаточно однобокое обозначение того, что игра за собой подразумевает. Это "Не последние из нас". По сути это "последнее, что осталось в нас от нас, людей", "последнее, что отделяет наше поведение от поведения животных", разумеется, с этической точки зрения.    … Expand

This sequel takes the human complexity and emotional turmoil of the first game and extends it to new and more exciting heights. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and the risks Naughty Dog took with it. This game challenges every emotion you can possibly feel and if you're heart is open like it no doubt wasIt's safe to say this is one of, if not the most, controversial game ever developed. This sequel takes the human complexity and emotional turmoil of the first game and extends it to new and more exciting heights. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and the risks Naughty Dog took with it. This game challenges every emotion you can possibly feel and if you're heart is open like it no doubt was when you played the first game, it will masterfully manipulate you to love characters you otherwise wouldn't think twice about and question their decisions-- for better or worse.

    Story aside, the gameplay is pristine. It takes the real and gritty approach from the first installment and improves upon it greatly. Both character and inventory movement flow seamlessly and are highly satisfying. The variety of approaches and combat devices Naughty Dog has thrown into this game is so dope. I didn't even know you could jump on top of enemies and knife them until my third playthrough! Whether you want slow and anxious stealth or hard-hitting gory action this game more than delivers.

    This game is more than a game, really. It is a comment piece on the human psyche and the actions it warrants. It really challenges the gamer's perception of our own world with a complex narrative and engrossing combat that leaves the player drawn in and wanting more.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. the game themes are more heavily entangled with moving on then just saying revenge is bad. honestly, I find it tragic that this premise can be forgotten due to this game's poor storytelling method of constantly trying to make the player feeling bad for murdering all these random people on behalf of Jole by attempting to dehumanize Ellie by showing her murderous rampage and humanize Abby by showing how amazing her life was before Joel and by reminding the player she had has hopes, dreams and fears .every thing just seems so forced upon you that you just want to deny it all but in reality, Joel is a terrible person he know that and doesn't regret it and he's past was bound to catch up with him Ellie was clearly hurting her self more than help by going through this journey and Abby did the right thing not by letting elie live but by moving on but the story invokes the wrong emotions. In essence, it's contradictory itself the story is always telling you revenge is bad but never showing the charter them selfs acknowledging this Abby loss every one but never once stops to ask Ellie why and same goes for Ellie.a a lot of people are upset not because this game is bad but because we expect it to be better after watching the ending to this game it was so unsatisfying and underwhelming that all I really wanted to do now is move on but I couldn't do so without understanding hopeful other people after watching this video will be able to see what this game was trying to say but didn't and will move on.… Expand

Y el hecho de que Abby sea así de deforme no tiene sentido en este universo, no negamos la existencia de estas mujeres fitness pero en un mundo apocalíptico en donde hay escasez de comida de dónde carajo consigues los alimentos necesarios para tener un cuerpo así formado? Solo hicieron de manera forzada la típica mujer empoderada que va y mata a un hombre blanco heterosexual (Joel). Y ya sé que Joel merecía morir por lo que hizo en el primer juego pero Naughty Dog no tuvo en cuenta que él era personaje mas querido por todos los fans o la mayoría, y le dan una muerte tan estúpida, en los trailers nos mintieron mostrando que Joel iba a estar con Ellie (Escena del tráiler cuando a Ellie le tapan la boca y se da vuelta y mira que es Joel y él le dice "Creíste que te iba a dejar hacer esto sola?". Después resulta que esa escena sucede en el juego pero reemplazaron a Joel por el asiático, eso decepcionó un montón), ese fue el bait que nos hicieron, hacernos creer que Ellie y Joel iban a vivir otra aventura juntos como en el primer juego, esa mentira logró que varias personas compren el juego, después en el juego Ellie y Joel no tienen un solo diálogo a excepción de flashbacks, y a Joel lo matan en las primeras 2 horas de juego, se cagaron también en el personaje, alguien que no confiaba ni en su propia sombra va y dice su nombre a gente desconocida. Y este asiático resulta que dejó embarazada a Dina, una mujer judía. Igual después lo matan de una forma también estúpida y nunca más se vuelve a hablar de él, dejando a su hijo con una pareja lesbiana, una blanca y una negra, tremenda diversidad mal desarrollada. Un juego que se cagó en la historia principal solo para forzar una agenda feminazi, políticas de género, y dejar contentos a los tóxicos de las comunidades LGBTQAGSHKBSVMY. Todo gracias a Anita Sarkeesian, la femiestupida de mierda que arruina todo lo que toca, a nadie le agrada esta mujer, siempre veo que la critican. Y Neil Druckmann se puso en modo simp e hizo todo lo que ella quiso. La cagaron, el juego se merece todos los puntos negativos que tiene, bien por los gráficos, los detalles y el soundtrack, pero no compensa toda la mierda que hicieron, con un final horrendo que tampoco le gustó a nadie… Expand

    Good game overall. Timing for some missions is a bit weird. Story is great. Environment is on par with the best if not better (I was on a 1080 so I imagine it’s even better on 4K).

This game is beyond everything I've played before and as much as I was hoping to keep a small piece of that dream, it's not realistic.... We've got what we deserved, and I'm sorry for everyone who can't sense the deaper meaning of the storyI can't believe how people expected a dream world of Ellie fighting trough an evil world, saving everyone and keeps on living the dream of her life...     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. My opinion on the story: The last of Us is not about Ellie and Joel. It's about representing a realistic society in extreme conditions. This also means that all characters are realistic and complex and because of this, a simple and linear revenge story would make no sense for the game. Abby's story in the game is not about making people feel bad for her. It's about showing that realistic characters have their own personal conflicts motivations to accomplish their goals. Playing Abby's part forces the player to understand that Ellie's motivation for revenge isn't anything special outside her own perspective. This might be a tough realization but it creates a very unique (and disturbing) feeling in the player.
    Having said that, I also think that the game does a fine job innovating in the concept of storytelling in a video game: The structure allows the story to be even more emotional and character-focused that Part 1. In conclusion, I would agree that it's not a game for everyone but I deeply appreciate that the development team took big risks to make the best game from a creative standpoint instead of one designed to please the fans.    … Expand

    This game is a technical masterpiece and has made me very complicated and challenging feelings unlike any other game. Narrative-wise, Naughty Dog makes bold decisions and hopes that the player is trusting enough to go along for the ride. If you are open-minded, this game is easily one of the most evocative pieces of media I have consumed in my lifetime and is well worth experiencing.

The returning characters as well as new characters are as compelling as ever with great development for all them. Standout characters are Ellie, Joel, Tommy, Dina, and Laura Bailey's new character, Abby. Gameplay is top notch too, with some of the best gunplay Naughty Dog has ever done. Stealth is also improved with new options for sneaking past your enemies: but it has a catch. Since you're more stealthy this time around, enemies are smarter, and look in places you wouldn't expect them to. The graphics are incredible and make this dangerous world feel alive. One of my favorite areas was the starting area, Jackson. The snow-capped mountains and small streams make this area beautiful and a joy to explore. My final verdict is a 10/10… Expand

    It could have been better but people are just upset and dont see the bigger picture at forst i disliked the story but understood more after a while the gameplay is really fun i love the stealth and killing zombies

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
