    O que já era bom no primeiro fica ainda melhor no segundo. Com novidades em relação ao primeiro na questão jogabilidade e com um dos gráficos mais bonitos da geração consegue fazer o feito de superar o primeiro jogo. Cenários imensos, história tocante, gameplay perfeita, é aquele tipo de jogo que você não consegue parar de jogar. O hate em cima do jogo é gratuito e mostra como os gamersO que já era bom no primeiro fica ainda melhor no segundo.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As a huge fan of the first game and as someone who read the leaks and thought they were terrible, I really felt the game was amazing on playing it.

    The common criticisms are easily rebuked. Joel gave his name because A) Tommy already did so when they first encountered Abby, so he couldn't lie and B) He hasn't been a gruff, distrusting bad ass for years now. He's a community man who has another daughter, so he's going to soften up and in general just be nicer! He's the Joel from the prelude of the first game, again.

    The story isn't about revenge alone, that's only the first layer. It's about how love conquers it, as we saw with Abby's arch with Lev and Ellie forgiving Joel at the very end. Ellie sparing Abby isn't FOR Abby, it's Ellie forgiving herself and Joel for never making amends over the lies about the Fireflies. That's what was driving Ellie more than anything; her hatred of herself for not giving Joel a chance soon enough. By the end she's able to reconcile with that, regain her humanity, accept her dues, and move forward.    … Expand

    No escuchen lo que dicen estos chabones, es uno de los mejores juegos de ps4. La historia, la jugabilidad y todo es perfecta, lo que dicen que no es bueno son tremendos putos que no lo pueden comprar, fans de la mierda de Xbox o unos estupidos que no entienden una garcha. Lo estupido que tiene el juego es el final, pudieron haberlo dejado menos abiertos. Ahora hay que esperar a jugar el 3No escuchen lo que dicen estos chabones, es uno de los mejores juegos de ps4.     Had so much fun playing this game. The Last of us II has a complex Story (you get to know the struggles and backstory of the “enemies”. Many hard decisions the Charakters need to make.......). These decision reflect the desperate and cold world they live and have to survive in. You can feel the characters pain and desperate situations they are in.    Another masterpiece by Naughtydog!

    Had so much fun playing this game.

    Думал что после перовой части The Last of Us, разработчики не смогут превзойти самих себя и выдадут нам просто хорошую игру с неплохим сюжетом, красивой графикой и отполированными механиками из первой части. Но как же я ошибался, игра подарила мне такие эмоции, которые я до этого не испытывал ни в одной игре, в фильмах и книгах да, но не в игре. Сюжет это просто    Без спойлеров.

    Думал что после перовой части The Last of Us, разработчики не смогут превзойти самих себя и выдадут нам просто хорошую игру с неплохим сюжетом, красивой графикой и отполированными механиками из первой части. Но как же я ошибался, игра подарила мне такие эмоции, которые я до этого не испытывал ни в одной игре, в фильмах и книгах да, но не в игре. Сюжет это просто эмоциональная карусель, такой спектр эмоций я давно не получал даже от фильмов. Геймплей и анимация на высшем уровне, отношение к деталям наверное на уровне игр Rockstar Games. По сравнению с первой частью The Last of Us схватки стали намного динамичнее и вариативнее. Местами игра казалась затянутой, но многослойная концовка расставила всё на свои места.
    После прохождения остаётся ощущение опустошённости, ещё несколько дней осознавал и переваривал информацию, после чего решил, что хочу пройти игру снова, чем сейчас и занимаюсь.

    Это моё первое мнение на Metacritic, игру прошёл неделю назад, но только сейчас решил, что нужно оставить свой отзыв об игре.

    Моя оценка 10 из 10, не потому что я считаю игру абсолютно идеальной и в ней нет недостатков, а потому что ни одна другая игра не смогла мне подарить даже половину эмоций, что подарила The Last of Us Part II.    … Expand

    What an experience ! I wish I hadn't been spoiled by kids on the internet.

    I hurt all over after playing it, but I am so glad I got to do it. And the gameplay is a treat, I restarted the game right after finnishing it.

This is actually a great game, one or two difficulties with some of the buttons but also happy about some of the new actions you can do , The story is very good and upsetting ,if you think about it and this if for the people upset about the story , it’s a apocalypse game bad stuff happens to good people this ads a bit of realism and shock.look at it if it was real life it’s inevitable that something would happen eventually to someone eg walking dead . It can’t always be about how you want it and it to be. But that what makes the story so good the fact that it upsets and hurts you , you live that pain as if it was real. So finish the game play it again. FYI I did not enjoy last of us 1 but second time playing I got the feel of the story and idea. Have fun playing.… Expand

    This is a story about people, actions and consequences.
    Revenge and forgiveness are the cores of this game, and it delivers a strong message of how expensive the cost for vengeance is.
    Not only this, but also the fact that in the end nothing will change what happened in the past.

    So yes, with the proper distancing, I learned to admire this masterpiece.

    Sure, it would've been nice to see Joel dying later in the game? Yes

    It would've been nice to have Joel alive with Ellie? Yes

    But this game is a accurate view of how complex life is, and how hurtful, cruel, and savage humanity could get in extreme situations.


    No plot shield for protagonists, because this is not a game about a main character. It's about perspectives and the two sides of a conflict.


    Obs: they made the game too long, but that doesn't kill the experience.    … Expand

    What this game did to me, no other game or movie has been able to do. I felt things that I never felt playing a game, constant chills, lots of emotions, both joy and sadness and an immersion that I never felt playing a game before.
    This was not just a game for me, it was a unique experience. This is a masterpiece.

    I never normally review games, but have been prompted to by the level of hatred and vitriol aimed at this game and those who made it. The story takes you where you might not expect, and while it may hurt to see the pain these characters go though, it's worth continuing.     I through-out enjoyed this game, especially its story!

    Apparently it isn’t for everyone? But I found the story masterfully done. At first I found the pacing a bit confusing,but I have come to appreciate its structure after refæectinh on the game.

    I would recommend this to everyone who enjoy the braver and more thought provokong experience!

    I was waiting second part for so long and did not got disappointed. It's different, but it is not bad. I really enjoyed the storytelling trick. It made me really emotional and i was regretting things that was done by me in first part of the game. Interesting feeling when game forces you to do what you don't want to, that you will not find in most of games.

    Gameplay - It's a greatly expanded version of what we saw in the first game. Animations are a lot smoother, enemy and companion AI is much better, the damage you can do together with the sound design make for a really grueling yet amazing experience.

    Graphics - Definitely amongst the best we will ever see this generation, it's crazy how they were able to make such a beautiful and detailed game run so well in a console that came out 7 years ago.

    Atmosphere/World building - Each and every area is full of details, full of "life" and have interesting documents that tell small stories that are always interconnected with the main plot, be it to give you some extra context or small stories of what happened in that specific area which sometimes go hand in hand with the puzzles & safes.

    Sound Design/Soundtrack - It's just perfect. The work done on everything sound related in this game, be it from Gustavo Santaolalla or the amazing sound engineers/devs is astonishingly amazing.

    Story - Divisive? Maybe. Good? Definitely, one of the best stories I've seen in gaming personally. It has a few pacing issues but I didn't find it nearly as bad as people were making it out to be. People talk about "agendas" and whatnot, but it's clear it's filled with passion and it's exactly what the devs set out to do (not the suits). I find it brave that even with all of that drivel, they decided to do what they wanted to do with its story!    … Expand

I cannot imagine Naughty Dog getting one more ounce than they got out of the PS4 and the game looks absolutely gorgeous. This is not a story with your run of the mill happy endings and at times it can be very grim, sometimes pulling your feels right out from underneath you, and you cannot help butThis game is absolutely fantastic and improves on everything the first game set out to do. This level of story telling has never been seen in any other franchise and Naughty Dog definitely did not hold any punches in The Last of Us Part II. You care about the characters and you feel for them and the relationships as you have become invested since the first game.

    The game play mechanics are no slouch either as they just have such a high degree of polish and you really feel empowered to handle situations however you please. After beating the game on the highest difficulty for my first playthrough, I will admit this game tests you problem solving skills and your patience. The dogs in certain parts are no joke! The game is all around impressive and really sets the standard for the industry competing with only games like God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2. It is really a work of art and tugs at your heart strings throughout its entirety. While I do not feel as though it deserves anything less than a 9.5 and I truly believe God of War is my only 10/10 this generation, I feel obligated to give this game a 10/10 as well because of the detail and Naughty Dog's ability to deliver on a level of story telling that you just do not hardly see. The Last of Us Part II is the perfect mixture of telling an extraordinarily compelling story that is unpredictable and extremely polished gameplay that makes you feel so dangerous. I don't really subscribe to the accolade of "Game of the Year", because I feel games are so unique that they should not be leveraged against one another. However, I would definitely have to pick the Last of Us Part II if I had to pick a 2020 Game of the Year or 2020 Must Play Game. Truly a work of art!    … Expand

    I think, so far, i never play something like this; I think people started to talk **** about this game, because it is completely different to any kind of game that is currently on the market, and I think it isn't fair this 4.9 score on something like this.

    You can feel everything that the protagonist feels during the events of the game with the animation and acting, you can fell a person in front of you and not just a character.

    I never felt this while playing in a game.
    Yeah, it isn't perfect like art is; some times the arms of the character stretch strangely for get an object behind you. But theres ****ty game like Skyrim and Fallout that gets ridiculous score with bug that make the game unplayable, and this one, that doesn't have nothing like that, it's treated like it's the worst game ever.

    Buy this game if you can, look at the hand of Ellie during fights, look at the faces of your enemies and hear their scream of pain when they found someone of them dead on the floor; it feels real and this is never happen before in a game.    … Expand

Ive been feeling this entire game.... it was pretty intense, for someone whos empathy runs on ultimate, I was feeling for these characters the whole time. It was a beautiful game. To everyone who was like "jUsT wAiT fOr ThE eNd" thinking I'd hate it.... you clearly don't know me lol. Ive been feeling this entire game.... it was pretty intense, for someone whos empathy runs on ultimate, I was feeling for these characters the whole time. It was a beautiful game. I actually really enjoyed the story. Characters I disliked immensely, I grew to understand. Characters I'm meant to agree with, I found myself holding back + struggled on some points in the game to do what it was asking me. AH! It was just so great. I'm not disappointed in the least. I'm sad. Because it was all around just hella sad... so ill be feeling that for a while. 12/10 for me.

    Also. I think it entirely depends on your personality and character how you rated this game..... Morales. Beliefs. Level of empathy.

    ALSO. Ive read a few places that it glorifies violence. Its violent as hell. But its SUPPOSED to make you uncomfortable. I started off feeling that revenge and anger and it very quickly changed at the halfway mark...to where it become painful to kill/be violent in situations you could more or less avoid.    … Expand

    I find the story and approach to be unique. Most people just hate the idea of the main character being killed and the game ended at the point, i just dont agree with that.

Last of Us is a nitty gritty game and Last of Us Part 2 focuses on that grittiness, there are no happy endings in a post-apocalyptic dog eat dog world, and this game highlights those problems and issues facing people in this world.     I loves this game. I loved the first game. Some people may not like the choices this game made, but it is important to remember that this is the story Naughty Dog wanted to tell.     This game is an absolute masterpiece. I never experienced so much different feelings in one. It was a horrible, sad and beautiful Story, I can't understand the negative comments. This game was not made to make you happy or comfortable! And those who criticise the Gay/Trans part: Grow the f*** up!

    El juego es perfecto, transmite emociones como nadie. El punto para ser perfecto se lo quito por la credibilidad que pierde la narrativa en la última mitad del juego, entrando en temas que están muy metidos con calzador y de forma un poco torpe y algo simplona. Pero son solo detalles que no ensombrecen el gran trabajo realizado por naughty dog.

    One section did seem a little too long for me but the pay off at the end was well worth the journey. The lines are blurred between the good and the bad guys and at the end I still don't know who was right or wrong. Maybe everyone was in the wrong?
    TLOU 2 far surpasses the magnificent original IMO and there's been talk of a 3rd game although where they will go with that is a mystery.

    Please pay no attention to the review bombers on here, pick this gem up and prepare yourself for one of the best storylines in a game. You won't be disappointed    … Expand

    Beautiful game. Amazing job from naught dog. I love the sound design and the mocap is top notch. My favorite part was honestly just walking. The game has such an intense atmosphere, I forgot I was playing a game.

    If you like the first one you undoubtedly need to play the second, the reviews are accurate, it is definitely a 10/10 masterpiece. I’m pretty much done, just the epilogue left, and it was an incredible experience.

    I liked it better than the first, and the only thing keeping me from replaying it immediately is Iron Man VR comes out in 2 days and I really should build up my VR legs.

    Game of the year for 2020 so far. This was an emotional roller coaster and I can't wait to go back for a second playthrough. The combat encounters were a blast and the story was incredible. It will make you angry at times but the way it all comes together in the end is incredible.     TLOU2 is a deserving sequel to one of the best games ever (in my opinion). The story follows the consequences of the first game in a very natural sense thats true to the world. The vicious nature is emphasized as we see that years of terrible actions actually have consequence. When we meet Joel and Ellie, they have settled for a peaceful life in Jackson and been living in this community for 4 years. They have both softened up, and abondened the murderous and evil ways from the first game which has dulled their senses and sets up the story of this game.

    The gameplay is an absolute masterpiece if you love toying with AI, stealth-gameplay or appreciate light survival horror. The enemy design is varied and their tactics are diverse. The ways enemies hunt you down and talk to each other, makes you think quickly and improvise like no game I have played before. This is the good old days where a headshot actually is a headshot and your guns don’t need the right RPG-stats to finish the kill. Weapons and crafting works pretty much the same as the prior game, but everything packs a heftier punch than it used to. My jaw dropped the first time I saw what a well-placed trapmine could achieve in gore-terms alone.

    The story isn’t an sprawling-across-the-country-adventure like the first, but I always felt like TLOU2 needed to do something different to engage, and that ND had to reinvent what made the first game click. After a hefty prologue, you set out to make your enemies pay, and after this the story has you in the palm of it’s hand. I will say that I also felt like the first half of the game has some severe pacing-issues, but with the exceptional story that follows and with the incredible replay-value the game has, this doesn’t feel like a problem by the time the credits roll. The story is packed with exceptional cutscenes that are of the haunting, heartwarming or cry your heart out-kind. They are incredibly acted and voiced, the animation is better than anything I’ve ever seen (at least in a game) and the score is more diverse this time provoking new emotions that you did not feel in the last game. Symbolism are both of the on the nose-kind, but I felt that there are even more of the subtle kind telling even more stories for those who are interested in really diving into this. Every scene feels mirrored at some point, and especially if you decide to play the game again, you will pick up on so much storytelling that flew you by the first time. I’ve seen alot of people complain about the game, but I feel like if you hate the ending, you are missing the point - and no it is not «revenge is bad», though this of course also is a theme of the game.

    I think the game teaches alot about empathy and even more about the desperation of finding your place and your meaning in a meaningless world. For some it seems like it doesn’t work at all, but for me the ending hit like a ton of bricks.

    I have seen alot about the diverse cast being some kind of «political agenda», but I don’t feel this. I just think they wanted diversity in characters, and in a fictional world this works with me and I think it’s cool to see those who seldom are represented in main-stream media be jampacked in this game.

    It is annoying that I care so much about what other fans feel, but I am really frustrated by the backlash of this game. I think many will enjoy it if they manage to look past the massive hate from the community and other gamers before they are done. Since the story touches oh so much on what hate does to humans, I think many fans reactions is quite ironic, but thats just the way it is I guess.

    All in all I think TLOU2 delivers a top quality game with a fantastic story, fun and intense gameplay and alot more replay value than the first one. It made me feel feelings I’ve never felt in a game and made me go into situations I were very uncomfortable with. As I stated, I feel like the first half is a bit long, but by the time you reach the end, it doesn’t matter to me because of the rest of the game.

    If I managed to get ONE SINGLE person to play this, I am happy. I really love this game and think it is a masterpiece. Looking forward to talk about it in years to come :)

    PS - I don’t think anyone who hates the game are transphobic or «doesn’t understand» or anything, but I would like to understand why it is so important to all of them to actively spread so much hate on the internet and come with threats of violence.     Undoubtedly one of the best games of this generation alongside cyberpunk 2077 even if it isn’t out yet. But seriously Sony killing it with them exclusives. I gotta say the weapons and the combat are my absolute favorite. It’s just so realistic. However the story isn’t what I’d describe as rainbows. Definitely engaging but super sad.

    The gameplay is much improved and more dynamic and less same-y than the first. There are some over-done mechanics in the game however (falling through the floor again?!), but it isn’t enough to warrant much detraction.

    The graphics & sound are both breathtaking and unnerving at the same time, complementing the tone of the game perfectly.

    The narrative direction & pacing taken in the game revealed bit-by-bit how the main characters came to be how they were. The way the story was delivered kept me wondering (I had thankfully avoided spoilers), it broke my heart, inspired anger, hatred, rage, but also provided me with moments that inspired love and joy as well. The careful, deliberate and intricate inter-weaving of narrative threads coming together in TLOU2 enables the player to see from multiple perspectives, encourages empathy, and gives a deeper insight into complex characters and the deep emotions that has driven their (sometimes questionable) choices. Like the overall tone of the game, you are often faced with discomfort from the actions of the characters –at the end of the day, however, they are human, not perfect.

    I would have liked to have a bit more choice at pivotal moments in the game (particularly towards the end), as I think it would have had a greater impact to have to think through the consequences of my own actions. Then again, I am not certain that the outcome would be as powerful as it was. Just like the original, this is not a “feel good” game, but a thoughtful one with a compelling story to tell.    … Expand

I thought it was amazing how I went from absolutely hating Abby to wanting her survival at the end after experiencing her part of the story. People who give this game a 0 either have never played it before, or their brains are too small to understand the complex layers of this story. I love the last of us so f***ing much but like I hate that the trailers lied about Joel being alive like seeing Joel die was so heart breaking on so many levels cause I cried and stopped playing TLOU2 for 2 days after it's release. Then the ending Wasn't what I expected I thought we was gonna kill Abby cause she killed Joel I mean ik her story cause I just beat the game about 3 minutes ago but at the end I wanted to kill her. Welp hopefully there will be TLOU3 coming in 2030 of the ps5 or 6 or Next Gen of Gaming until then see you all later. Overall the game was amazing love the story and game play… Expand

More like a 9.75 because of some spongey bosses and the narrative does jerk to a hault in the middle of the game (necessary for the story but annoying in the moment). Ultimately the game picks back up when the switch happens. Anyone saying this game is below a 6 or 7 is insane. Even if you hate the story the gameplay and craft are exceptional.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Making a sequel to a beloved game is always a difficult task. In most cases, sequels are bad and never reach the technical quality of the first game. The Last of Us Part II is a rare exception to that rule.

    GAMEPLAY

    The gameplay is similar to the first game, but it contains reinventions and a few changes. Such as: The dodge and the jump. The weapon upgrade system is much more satisfying than it's predecessor. With a wide arrange of weapons, upgrading each and every single one of them, change not only the aesthetic but the way you play it. The jump button is very important to the level design of the game, since now, you have a traversal option to approach the enemies. I found the dodge thoroughly entertaining, it adds to the frenetic and fast paced combat of the game.

    PACE

    The pacing of the game is adequate. It fits into the story, and it shows how Naughty Dog has grown in this particular aspect. Since previous games of the company had some pacing issues such as Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us. I'm really happy to see that Naughty Dog made her homework.

    ENVIRONMENT

    Naughty Dog's level design was always very inspired. In this game, it reaches a whole other level. Non linear sequences add to the feel of the post apocalyptic world of the game and also reward the ones who explore. With collectibles and unique sequences that add to the overall meaning of the story. Seattle, the city where you play most of the game only proves that Naughty Dog is amazing in it's art direction.

    STORY

    The story of The Last of Us Part II is Amazing. It follows Ellie in a quest for revenge and Abby (the new character) in a quest for redemption. The narrative talks about a lot of different themes. Such as: Empathy, Hate, Love, Legacy, Redemption, Sacrifice... the list goes on. Nothing in this game happens for free. Everything has a meaning or meanings. It's really about deconstructing the characters we know.

    PERFORMANCES

    Ashley Johnson kills as Ellie, giving a career defining performance that is sure to change acting in videogame forever. Laura Bailey is the star of the game, she carries Abby's character arc forward and made me love the character even more than I thought I would. Troy Baker destroys as the intimidating but charming Joel.

    The Last of Us Part II is a sequel made in spectacular fashion that not only respects the story of the first game while also adds to it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last Of Us Part 2 does something a video game has never done before. By letting us play as the "antagonist", and experience her story. Why she does what she does. They give us a deeper understanding of the characters and the game world.
    The world of The Last Of Us is filled with horror. Nobody comes out happy on the other side.
    I 100 % support and love the story decisions that naughty dog has chosen.

It is nothing like the first game and I see at as its most beneficial trait.
    TLOU2 is complex, dramatic, very violent, overwhelmingly grim, and dark gaming experience. You will not feel good after completing this thing but there will be some twisted sense of catharsis that will knock you of the rails and turn this 40+ hours game into something else than just an entertainment.    … Expand

    Graficamente es de los mejores de la generación,el gameplay y las mecanicas son muy variadas y puedes disfrutarlas de diferentes formas.La historia y sus personajes son increibles.Espero que se sigan haciendo juegos de esta calidad en futuras generaciones

    Para comenzar, debo comenzar señalando que te puede haber gustado o no el juego, como siempre digo, en gustos no hay nada escrito, sin embargo, es innegable el hecho que The last of us Part II te hace pasar por una montaña rusa de emociones, te hace sentir cosas como muy pocos juegos lo hacen.

    En cuanto ha jugabilidad, no hay mucho que decir, es un juego sumamente entretenido y    Para comenzar, debo comenzar señalando que te puede haber gustado o no el juego, como siempre digo, en gustos no hay nada escrito, sin embargo, es innegable el hecho que The last of us Part II te hace pasar por una montaña rusa de emociones, te hace sentir cosas como muy pocos juegos lo hacen.

    En cuanto ha jugabilidad, no hay mucho que decir, es un juego sumamente entretenido y adictivo, es frenético cuando tiene que serlo, y es sumamente tranquilo cuando la historia lo necesita.

    Existe mucha discusión sobre la inclusión de personajes LGBTQIA+ y es verdad, el juego los tiene, sin embargo, este no es el tema principal en el juego, ya que, The last of us Part II no gira en torno a las orientaciones sexuales o el genero de sus personajes, esta es una historia sobre venganza, y su historia así lo representa.

    Mi experiencia con la historia del juego ha sido sumamente satisfactoria, no quiero caer en spoilers, ya que creo que esta experiencia debe ser vivida e interpretada por el jugador, y pongo énfasis en lo de interpretar la historia, ya que creo que es un componente vital en The last of us Part II.

    El juego tiene sus fallos, evidentemente, todos los juegos los tienen, en ocasiones se puede hacer muy pesado para el jugador (lo he jugado en la máxima dificultad), existe un exceso de coleccionables (aproximadamente 250) que están repartidos en lugares a veces absurdos, sin embargo, estos no afectan de manera crítica a la experiencia.

    ¿Es un juego recomendable?
    Si, definitivamente.

    Compelling and brutal, you really do need to play it rather than watch it to get the tension and dread. You end up having to do things through the plot that can be really uncomfortable while the characters single minded pursue their revenge.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
