El juego no tiene nada que envidiarle a su antecesor, te muestra el viaje de ellie no como el viaje del heroe, ellie no es una heroína, ni Joel, de hecho el juego te muestra que nuestros protagonistas podían ser incluso peores que los antagonistas, se nos muestra la otra cara de la moneda, mostrándonos ir a todos los que matamos. Sangre fría, también podían tener sus propias vivencias, sueños y tragedias,, el gameplay es bueno, muy fluido, la IA mejoró bastante en comparación con el primer juego, (que de por sí ya tenía buena IA), quisiera destacar sobre todo la parte donde los lobos atacan la isla de los serafitas y se muestra lo bajo y ruin que es el ser humano, matando a todos y destruyendo a todas las personas sin importar género, edad o que simplemente son personas también como ellos .
    Cumplió los expectativas, lo único que podría quejarme sería que lo alargan un poco de forma innecesaria, aunque no se siente forzado. Abby funciona como antagonista ( o protagonista como lo quieran ver) porque tiene motivos claros para hacer lo que hace,tiene tantos motivos o más que ellie para hacer lo que hace.
    En fin, buenísimo el juego, no se cierren a no jugarlo solo por una supuesta "inclusión"

    Despite the controversy, I absolutely loved this game. Yes, while the story didn't play out how I imagined it, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride while keeping an open mind. This is the first time a game has made me feel something for the 'antagonists' of the story and it was unique to look through their eyes. By the end I was actually rooting for the other side. It leaves you a clear message that revenge is never good and they put us at the feet of the two protagonists and we realize that they lost everything because of it. Engaging their loved ones and taking them to death when they did not deserve it. That is why ellie reflects and lets her live and that is where they show us the last scene of ellie and joel where she is also a part that broke me a lot because Joel affirms that if God had given him another chance to do so, he would have done the same, it is a sign of the love he has for ellie. It is where ellie reflects and leaves us the clear message of why he forgave her. It makes me very sad how ellie saw joel die when they no longer had any contact .. Let’s get real for a minute. Everyone dies at some point in their life, someone who dislikes the game simply because of Joel’s death, playing as Abby, not killing Abby, or any other reason out there, is just stupid. Characters evolve, things change, and sometimes you find yourself loving a monster. Emmy winning writers, and people who review games for a living are praising this game, giving it 10s and calling it game of the year. One out of three average human beings are mentally challenged. The story is well constructed and it is more than a game. It is a life experience. I recommend it to everyone to buy and play, because it deserves to be played. For me, a great catch is that we can see good or evil in each of us, and that revenge can lead us to do bizarre things. Furthermore, it shows that there is no absolute truth. The game shows that the truth and the right depends on the point of view of those who lived and observed the game events. The writers are clearly telling a story, and a more realistic one in such a world, rather than having everything be rainbows and sunshine.     The story is beautiful, and brutal. It got me thinking more than once about what I was doing, and what I did up to that moment.

    Game mechanics - 10/10. Improved them from the previous game. Fighting is very fun, the amount of settings is unbelievable, including a multi layered difficulty system (select hard enemies, easy resources, for example).

    If you liked the first one for the authenticity and the story, then play this one as well.    … Expand

The gameplay is an improvement from the first game which is a lot to say and some of the new mechanics (eg rope) are well es executed. I understand why the story might be divisive particularly with the shocking beginning that might upset fans of the first one but *spoiler alert* Joel’s adventure was complete and this was a story of what comes after. This game also teaches something important which is that in many situations there isn’t such thing as a good and bad character, it’s the circumstances that drive each to make decisions. Abby killing Joel because of revenge, and through the game she leaves and betrays everyone to take care of a child, just like Joel in the first game! And Ellie realizing that just before killing her just made the experience mind blowing and amazing! Gameplay and animations were on point. Also, all the new bits and evolution of the relationship between Joel and Ellie was really wholesome to watch. Voy a empezar con los puntos negativos, la duración y sobre todo el reset a mitad del juego hacen que se sienta innecesariamente largo, la inclusión y la sexualidad como punto medio central puede llegar a ser molesto, aun así no me molesto tanto para el final.

    Bueno ahora así, lo que me encanto del juego, lo primero que voy a mencionar es que la historia desde mi punto de vista esta a la altura, yo personalmente hubiera cambiado cosas de orden, sobre todo del inicio, pero el final me pareció mas que correcto, porque hermano, si después de las mas de 20 horas y haber pasado por toda la mierda del juego, y lo que el mismo te quieren transmitir aun queres completar la venganza de Ellie, es que sencillamente no captaste el mensaje, fuera de eso, el darle rostros y vidas a los NPC de la manera en que lo hicieron es de aplaudir. Del gameplay solo puedo deshacerme en elogios hacia Naughty Dog no recuerdo un juego con una violencia tan cruda y a la vez satisfactoria, disfrutaba cada combate mas que el anterior.
    Mención aparte lo místico que se siente el mundo, osea es basicamente Seattle luego de la pandemia, pero es que aun así el juego tiene momentos que llegan a sorprender demasiado.
    Por ultimo, solo quiero abogar para los que están dudando comprárselo por los spoilers del inicio y el final, y sobre todo la calificación baja de gente que probablemente ni lo ha jugado, señores no se preocupen este juego esta a la altura, es sin duda para mi uno de mis juegos favoritos de este 2020.    … Expand

Echoes of themes from the first game are built on with new questions and conflicts. It asks you to confront just how self-destructive vengeance can become. It asks you to confront just how self-destructive vengeance can become. I understand where some people are coming from in being unhappy with the game, but I also can't disagree with them more. The game forces us to remove the rose-color glasses that we have developed during our seven year wait since the first game. Just like Ellie, we learn that sometimes we have to see beyond what we initially believed or risk losing ourselves to stubborn hatred.

    In terms of gameplay and graphic, everything is stunning. The music is a beautiful as ever, haunting and tense in equal parts. I appreciate the broad accessibility options included in the game which are extremely helpful to allow anyone to experience the game. The combat and crafting are similar to the first game with enough variation not to feel like a rehash. That's not to say the game is absolutely perfect. There are a couple of pacing issues that would have been fixed by reshuffling some of the encounters. Actions like moving off ledges and jumping are a little heavy and stiff sometimes. But even with small gripes and concerns, they don't add up to enough to knock the game down from a 10.

    At the end I just sat there, listening to the credits and the sound of my own breathing. Where the last game was a final gut punch of an ending, this one is more like a slowly twisting knife throughout. And then, when you're done, you realized the knife is gone, even if you're not sure when that happened. For all that this is an incredibly dark and bleak game, I'd argue it ends on a more optimistic note than the first, making the entire 25-30 hour game incredibly worthwhile.    … Expand

    Game looks and plays amazing. Any fan of the first game is in for an emotional onslaught. Also paints a vivid picture for the "human condition" and makes you question your own morality and think of who the actual "good guys" are in a scenario. I'm beyond impressed. Can't wait to see the multiplayer when it drops.

    I haven’t completed it yet, so hopefully the ending is even close as good to the original, but so far technically the best game I’ve ever played and the narrative, although sad, is so gripping and I simultaneously want to play it all and make it last longer!

    Don’t understand how thousands of negative reviews came out within twelve hrs of the games release when the gameplay is 27hrs. Regardless such a beautiful game and if you ve been persuaded by the negativity to not play the game do yourself a huge favor and throw it all away. Buy the game and make an educated opinion for yourself.

    3.IT’S A FREAKING TREND TO HATE TLOU2 - I don't know why but that’s true. Some people are rating 0 on metacritic only because of leaks, they didn’t even played it.

    What we love most about first part? Joel’s and Ellie’s relationship. It would be awesome to see that in second part, but we didn’t wait 7 years for that. We were waiting for a game with best graphics, gameplay, story and we did get that! Plus we got a small, fantastic episode of good old Joel and Ellie.
    Why can’t you just put aside emotional luggage from the first part and just play?
    This game doesn’t deserve fu**in deserve 4.4...Naughty dog doesn’t deserve this hate...    … Expand

Story - I can't remember last time the game made me crying so lot. The "event" with Joel is very strong and truly right, cause we need new characters and the're good enough to love them. Playing 2 chars in 1 time is good way to tell us their story, motivations etc. You get into both characters. Some events are predictable but it doesn't make the story bad. The only thing is the ending, I got mixed feelings about it but I can't lower my score cause I really love this amazing game.… Expand

The Last Of Us Parte II es uno de los mejores juegos que eh jugado sin duda me atrapó a las primeras horas de juego y sigo sin entender el por que fue tan mal valorado, la jugabilidad es muy buena la verdad a mi me daba mucha felicidad de cosas que antes no podías pasar y tenías que encontrar una manera más difícil, la búsqueda de botín se me hace muy buena era súper entretenido y ahora es más importante si no buscas botín te perderías de armas, fundas, balas , etc. .., la historia es buena y pienso que pues las malas críticas es por el poco protagonismo de Joel y que le dan mas a Ellie pero pensemos esto si  a Joel le dieran más protagonismo a el juego sería más corto y menos que saber por que ya conocimos a Joel y nos encanto pero gracias a que Joel no fue el protagonista pudimos conocer a nuevos personajes que a mi me encantaron y llore por la muerte de algunos, También eh visto que por la inclusión de personajes LGBT  se les hizo a la fuerza a algunas personas pero por favor ya había personajes así en la Parte I
    además a quien no le encanto el personaje de Dina yo me enamoré de el personaje , también siento que la muerte de Joel impacto tanto que tuvo malas críticas pero creo que fue algo bueno para que Ellie evolucione más , también la Historia de Abby es pesada pero entiendes más sabes por que lo hace sabes como es su otro lado la entiendes ayuda a que se desarrolle más así tienes a un enemigo bien conocido y desarrollado. El final se me hizo muy bueno  después de una batalla muy épica Ellie se da cuenta que al final la venganza no es una buena opción por más odio que tengas no sería algo bueno, la verdad llore con el final la espera de 7 años cumplió mis expectativas, Lo voy a jugar y terminar más de 3 veces    … Expand

    This is emotional rollercoaster. The plot is engaging and you can just feel emotions of the characters. This is a story of tragedy, story of people who just can't live normally because of their past. Everyone hero has his backstory and trying to do their best. And its great. With really good gameplay, it is one of the best games i played.

While other works of media dealing with bleak and brutal worlds still try to get a positive message out of their universe, this game just hits you with bad vibes from 2 hours in until the end. It took some time to get comfortable with, but now i feel weirdly glad i was confronted with such dark and depressing themes in a non-real-life scenario. However, i get that something like that is not for everyone, and that's alright. Still, I'd rate my personal experience a 10/10, and if you're looking for a game that'll tear your heart and soul into pieces without ever trying to repair the damage, I can wholeheartedly recommend this game. And, one last thing, the story relies heavily on you having played the first game, so keep that in mind.… Expand

Don’t judge this off of review bombs by people that didn’t play the game. Metacritic should require you to post a picture of your physical/digital copy of this game in order to review it. Watching a spoiler montage completely out of context or watching a blabbing YouTuber or Twitch streamer pandering to an audience of gamers that want to hate the game isn’t gonna cut it.     It's pretty simple--the game is excessively well thought out and is excellent. People who are bombing it either have a bigoted side, or cannot handle having to digest something that isn't what they wanted. Neil crafts a story that forces you to look at this world through several perspectives, and many would rather have a heroic gore fest. This game is very timely in the face of that.

    Un absoluto 10 para mi gusto. La historia está muy bien escrita y mantiene la tensión en momentos clave, además de ser emocional cuando se lo propone. El gameplay se siente fresco en esta franquicia gracias a los nuevos añadidos y gráficamente es sorprendente.

Negatives....2 or so hours in I was kind of angry. When the twist happens half way I was also a bit annoyed. But once her story line continued the game got better and better. (Right around when she was hung.) The two side characters (from Abby) also really made the game for me. The boss fights got better and the story became amazing. Truly an emotional experience that just kept going. Even when you think its over.....it keeps going. Solid A game. Hate it or not, its a game you must experience in length to truly get an opinion.     Allora il gioco inizia con molti colpi di scena e ambientazioni che ti lasciano a dir poco stupito. Dopo quasi 3 ore di game play arrivi a un punto dove credi che il gioco sia basato su questo stile ma mi sbagliavo. Andando avanti capisci che lo stile è la narrazione cambiando come anche i personaggi dove i due principali in questo capitolo sono Ellie e Abby.
    Quest’ultima sembra una antagonista per via delle sue gesta nella trama principale, ma impersonandola prima e dopo gli atti. Si capisce che è una ragazza forte quando debole come Ellie. La storia ha una trama coinvolgente, senza esagerare in troppe cose. Game play a livello di difficoltà medio ti lascia lo spazio per esplorare e capire che succede. L’intelligenza artificiale e buona ma non la migliore a questa difficoltà. Ma diventa più ostile e realistica con l’aumentare della difficoltà.

    Comprato grafico ricco di dettagli dal minimo al più grande. Come personaggi o il semplice calendario di una camera da letto. Gli ester egg carini e simpatici riferito ai propri giochi passati dei creatori, fondatori del titolo.

    Finale non scontato ma nemmeno così tanto inaspettato. Dove anche qui i colpi di scena di lasciano a bocca aperta.


    Morale della favola THE LAST OF US PART 2 è uno dei titoli che mi ha affascinato di più negli ultimi anni. Ed è da quando ho giocato la prima volta ad half life che non ho questa sensazione.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
