Congratulations to Naughty Dog for daring in the narratives and in the freedom to bring several reflections on the psychology of the human being and its diverse facets.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. TLOU 2 is one of the most complex games I've played. Something similar happened to me while playing it, similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, in a way that both games involve difficult themes and characters which make the game more grounded and evolved, in a way. Anyway, some parts of the plot, specially the ending, requires special level of comprehension to reach to the peak of the game and the objective of the developers.

    ANYWAYS, I have a theory that may explain all the hate towards the game.
    What if the game was intended to backfire itself from all the hate that it is receiving? Let me explain. Everyone hates Abby from that crucial moment in the first 2 hours of the game, provoquing the player to react angrily after such a loss. Then we all see different perspectives from people who lost someone, both characters with there respective father figures. The game takes us to do horrible things, even ones we don’t want to take part of, from both sides again. The game is based on hatred and grief for our loved ones, regarding both main playable characters in the game and the player! Because it feels like the game passes over to us that hate, the players, and it’s up to us if whether we decide or not to follow the line of hate the characters are carrying out. Ellie wants to take revenge from the murder of his Joel, and Abby wants to take revenge from the murder of Jerry by Joel. It’s like the cycle of violence passes by to us and makes us really hate the game for all the "bad" decisions the writer has carried out. I believe that this might not be just a coincidence but a side-intention in the plot. This is why TROY BAKER, actor of Joel, reminds us to keep an open mind while playing throughout the game, because of how we need to understand it and why players should not rush by raging about it. I know I don’t know much how to express complex ideas but this one kept going around inside my mind and I needed to write it down.    … Expand

Я довольно опытный геймер с большим стажем, мои первые игры в детстве были golden axe, dune, star craft... за столь большой период времени, я отыграл большое количество компьютерных игр и могу с открытой совестью написать, что это лучшее во что я играл когда-либо! Я прошел игру на нормальной сложности за 30ч, столько положительных эмоцийЕсли можно было бы поставить 100, я бы сделал это.     El juego es asombroso y sus mecánicas y cada detalle el nivel de calidad de las cosas, la banda sonora , la historia me encanto por completo hubieron muchas escenas que no me espere, 100% recomendadisimo puedo decir que es hasta mejor que el 1er juego, la historia habla de temas mas profundos y oscuros y te hace ver que la venganza con lleva a mas venganza

The last of us 2 is It is very practical with a very raw and functional story, the strengths of this game are the wonderful landscapes and the gameplay that makes you feel like you’re actually in the situation that the characters are involved, the bad things about this game is the way that the history is told because there are times when you feel confused and do not understand what is happening another bad point is the unnecessary role that plays Abby since the story is supposed to revolve around ellie and her thirst for revenge this causes the player to disconnect and lose the connection they have with the character but doesn’t matter because the story works well and does not end up disappointing you… Expand

    História incrível terminei o game aos prantos...♥️
    Jogabilidade teve adições significativas que melhorarão muito a jogabilidade, senti falta da escassez de recursos o jogo dava muita munição e equipamentos para construir itens nem me preocupava com isso diferente do primeiro que estava sempre no sufoco.

Я не могу понять ее трагедию, т.к. нет привязанности к персонажу настолько сильной как к Элли после первой игры.

    И конечно помимо повесток о круге насилия, мести, перемести в игре уделено много внимание и другим существующим проблемам. В игре очень тонко и ненавязчиво рассказывается о проблемах ЛГБТ, правах женщин. Все это мастерски вписано в игру, не режет глаза и главное является частью персонажей, не отделимо от них, т.е. сущность самих персонажей. И обойти эти важные темы никак было нельзя, нам все это заявили еще в первой части. Конечно мир в реальности был бы куда более жесток и кровожаден. Элли и Дину бы избили, если не убили после поцелуя в баре, Льва бы тоже сразу убили, что в прочем в игре и пытались сделать, а терпеть Эбби и других тоже бы не стали. В мире постапокалипсиса с правами человека туго. Но тем и лучше для нас, ведь сейчас в мире более лучшем, чем раньше и лучше, чем может нам сулить существуют такие гениальные авторы, которые могут вываливать на нас огромные философские рассуждения в играх и двигать наш мир вперед к открытости, свободе, уважению, толерантности.

    Нил Дракманн очень смелый, дерзкий человек, который безумно нужен этому миру, он делает мир лучше и запускают общественную дискуссию. Дракманн, тот кто срывает покровы ложной политкорректностис людей заблудших в дебрях старых догм и показывает этих личностей которые из-за зашоренных взглядов тормозят общество, и в прямом смысле убивают своим отношением других в нашем реальном мире, но теперь у нас есть возможность показать людям с дремучими взглядами, что они не правы. Дракманн это тот самый, один из наших спасителей, новатор, с нетерпением буду ждать его новых проектов.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part 2 is easily my favorite game I have ever played. The gameplay was intuitive and evolved to what ever strengths you wish to go with, the story was incredibly emotional and moving. Old characters and new manage to all make an impression that I will not soon forget. It will take a lot for another game to top this one.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I find it genuinely ridiculous that people are bashing this game as hard as they are; it's truly absurd. The game does not deserve this and Naughty Dog DEFINITELY does not deserve this. The game has visceral, intense gameplay that keeps you on your toes and encourages the use of all the tools in your arsenal. The story is a great extension of the first game's, showing Joel atone for his decision from the end of the previous game and allowing the player insight into how that decision had an impact on others. The graphics, no surprise, are stunning. I played this game for 25 hours and if I had a dime for every time I stopped and said, "Wow that looks pretty" or "Oh, that's so cool," then I would be J.P. Morgan. It's blatantly apparent to me that this is one of ND's most passionate projects, and they have really knocked it out of the park. So, why the hell is everyone up in arms about this? I find it incredibly fishy that tens of thousands of people are trying their hardest to discredit one of the most popular and well-respected game developers ever as soon as they release the sequel to what is arguably one of the greatest games ever created. Many of the reviews I see claim that there are numerous plot-hole, that Joel isn't in the game, and that Druckmann and the team are trying to push some agenda. I will address each of those in order. 1.) As I stated before, I played this game for 25 **** HOURS, and not once did I see a plot thread that wasn't cohesive. I can understand not liking the plot; after all, it is basically just a revenge story, the human race has created countless amount of those in every medium. The thing about it, though, is that this is one of the best revenge stories ever told, especially for the fans of the previous game who spent 13-16 hours growing attached to Joel and Ellie's pseudo-paternal bond. It is emotional at multiple points, somber and calm at others. It is exactly what it needed to be. 2.) This is where the major spoiling starts. If you haven't played the game, I recommend you get off this site before you read anything else and play the goddamn game. Now that that's out of the way, let's discuss Joel's death. Joel, throughout the course of TLOU 1, crosses the country with Ellie, building a bond with her. When it turns out that in order to synthesize a cure, Ellie needs to die, Joel kills the doctor about to perform the surgery, grabs Ellie, and runs. This is the catalyst for the plot in Part 2. Abby, the dreaded Joel Killer, turns out to be the daughter of the doctor who was going to operate on Ellie, Jerry Anderson. Abby is curious at Joel for murdering her father, and clubs him to death with a 9 iron (I'm not a golf aficionado, so I could be wrong on exactly what type of club it is). Many people are **** passed at this for whatever reason. I can only assume that it is because they grew an attachment to Joel (fair, (but I'll address that in a second) or they're chauvinist prices who can't stand to play a female character (I'll address that in the third point).The point is that I believe that Joel's death and the inclusion of Abby are quite well done. The game even goes as far as to make you play as Abby for a period of time, which I wasn't a fan of at first, but I now believe it is essential to the narrative. The thing is that Joel is not a good person, and by the end of the game, Ellie has become somewhat of a monster as well (killing all of Abby's closest friends, including a pregnant woman and Abby's paramour). Just because Ellie watched her father figure die in front of her does not give her the right to cause more pain and suffering, just like Joel did not have the right to doom the human race because he loved Ellie; however, it is all very human. That is the dilemma in The Last of Us: can you find forgiveness in yourself or will you walk down the long road to Hell to get what your heart desires?

    3.) People are claiming that with the inclusion of LGBT characters (Lev, a transgender boy; Ellie and Dina, gay couple), ND are "pushing an agenda." I'm not gonna sit here and discuss civil rights, but there is no reason to be this **** upset over diversity in a VIDEO GAME, especially when it is so tactfully and respectfully done. There is no "shoving it in your face" that some people are claiming. It is there. Is that a **** problem for you? Because it shouldn't be. This entire debacle gives me a headache. Obviously, I loved the game. What more can I say? Thank you if you read this entire thing.    … Expand

Un juego con una jugabilidad increíble, gráficos que parecen fotos, una historia lineal con escenarios de mundo semi-abierto que son increíbles, banda sonora cautivadora, una trama que aunque para muchos pueda ser triste (como en mi caso), que eso significa que sea peor incluso pueda ser completamente lo contrario que en otros casos pueda parecer decepcionante sobre todo en las primeras horas de juego. Pero lo que quiero destacar de este juego es el como genera estos sentimientos que pueden ser de traición, cambios de opinión de cada uno, sobre que está bien y que está mal, estos sentimientos que te genera que no son absolutamente nada fáciles de producir y mucho menos en un videojuego, el que lo hayan logrado con tal magnitud me parece algo casi imposible de producir.… Expand

    A pesar de su secuela es un juego la raja graficos detallados audio muy bien detallado permitiendote escuchar cosas demasiado exelentes los pasos el audio y graficos son sus principales fuertes su historia es algo dolorosa y mas oscura que el juego anterior pero sigue siendo buena y a los jugadores hambrientos por una secuela como yo me satisfacio al 100%

The last of us parte II è un opera semplicemente perfetta in ciò che vuole trasmettere, ci riesce alla perfezione, il giocatore proverà prima odio poi comprensione e dopo ancora rimorso per ciò che ellie farà, il gameplay è abbastanza semplice senza comandi particolari ma comunque tutt'altro che facile nei livelli di difficoltà più alti, cosa che comunque consiglio perché arricchisce il gioco in una maniera inaspettata grazie ad un IA superba.
    Ho notato solo che a volte ellie non prende perfettamente con mano gli oggetti ma spesso non ci si fa caso essendo comunque azioni di poco conto, per il resto nessun bug nessun problema di prestazioni anche su PS4 normale a parte il un problema a livello di rumore, insomma alla fine questo gioco potrà non piacere per alcuni fatti e temi trattati ma è impossibile non giudicarlo come uno dei migliori della generazione.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm starting this review off by saying Part 1 was an absolute masterpiece, and a HUGE act to follow. Naughty Dog gave themselves a very tough job to follow this up 7 years later.

    And yeah don't get me wrong - the catalyst that started the journey for Part 2, left me in total shock and disbelief. So much so I had to ask my partner for an objective opinion that what I saw on screen definitely happened! But that doesn't make it all the more shocking and gut-wrenching, which is exactly what Naughty Dog were going for. It got me emotionally invested in Ellie's quest for vengeance

    The graphics and gameplay are a great improvement from the first game, but the message is clear. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Look at what happened with Uncharted 4 - the gameplay wasn't too different, but everything from the story to the character development was excellent

    I like all the characters in TLOU2 - they are instantly likeable (or unlikeable as villains!) and they all have some humanity behind them. Even what Abby did, there was an emotional motivation for that happening.

    So this story won't please everyone sure. But if you think of it as a story that has been crafted by the minds of an absolute gem in Part 1, and not the story you had 100% planned in your mind for Part 2, then this is truly an outstanding game that can't be missed    … Expand

    Убили Джоэла и вас это так огорчило!? , так все правильно на то и расчёт мы должны желать мести, и мир жесток и все логично для нас в первой части Джоэл поступил правильно, а для тех кто был по ту сторону баррикад? Все привыкли что есть плохие и хорошие а тут вам показали 2 стороны и выбили всех из калеи. Самым сложным конечно было играть за Эбби(к концу её повествования проникаешься этим персонажем и принимаешь её) , но если бы не было части про Эбби то концовка бы не получилась. В общем получилась цельная игра которая вызывает кучу имоций и пришлось пройти через, отрицание, злость, торг, депрессия, принятие. И то что это вызвало столько эмоций у игроков доказывает что Дракмана гений. А как это сделано каждая мелочь которая показана у Элли дрожащие руки, взгляд, надрыв в голосе, панические атаки пробирает до мурашек. Я так думаю кто не согласен ваша ниша это танки и форт найт. Игра 100 проц только для взрослых тех кто понимает что хэппиэнды в жизни это редкость и за все нужно платить ,и не смотря на зомби и пост апокалипсис самая реалистичная игра. Купил в предзаказ и не пожалел ни рубля. 100 заслуженно, жду продолжения.    … Expand

    The game is just perfect, it's wonderful visually and as for the story I don't even have anything to say, it made me question who I am, and for a long time I will still cry remembering. I can't think of any defects, this game really left a mark on me.

    It's sad that people aren't giving this game a chance after reading the spoilers. I know it sounds terrible at first, but it sets up all sorts of emotions later into the game and I love that. I really enjoyed the storyline front to back. Gameplay was as great as the first one. It's definitely worth the $60!

    I think this was the best game I've ever played. The story was stunning and perfectly fit in the universe. The gameplay was as good as the part 1 and the graphics was really breathtaking. I don't understand the hate towards it. You should try this masterpiece

    I personally had a blast playing through this game. It is a much darker and grittier game than the first one. First of all, the graphics and the environments. Wow, just wow. From a technical point of view this game is a marvel. The attention to detail is phenomenal. I was really impressed by city skylines and distant vistas, character movement and the density of the vegetation.

    Second, gameplay-wise it has gotten a lot better. Ellie is extremely agile, and she can now jump, dodge and prone. It makes combat a lot easier. Enemy AI is also a lot better. Enemies work together and make personalized callouts to which you can adapt your own strategy. It's truly impressive.

    And then there is the story. Well, to be quite honest, I just decided to roll with it, and for me it kinda worked. I believe it was actually a pretty decent story. It's just that I didn't quite understand Ellie's careless attitude throughout her journey. Then there's the other point of view in which we play as a new character. At first I hated this new character because of her actions early in the game, but in the end I felt sorry for her. I actually believed her and think that some of her friends didn't deserve what happened to them. Overall it has some really great moments.

    If there's one major critism I have to offer, it would be the pacing. There is a lot, and I do mean a lot, of detouring going on just to prolong the game but in the end the means is the same. Ellie is almost at the hospital.... nope, she slips into the sewer. The new character is on the skybridge, nope, she falls off and now we need to fight through an infected building. These situations happen a bit too often. I think a shorter and more rounded 16-18 hour game would've been better than the 25 hours full of sidetracking. Other than that. This is a solid game and the devs should be proud. Best game ever? No, but definitely not as bad as some people claim it to be. I give it 8/10.    … Expand
