Der Anfang des Spiels bot dem Spieler einen leichten Einstieg, die Mitte des Spiels hielt sich etwas jumpscare lastiger. Das Ende war unerwartet und dennoch versteckt sich darin eine Botschaft, welche die wenigsten verstehen. Es geht darum zu verzeihen, und somit ein friedliches Ende zu finden bevor alles zerbricht. Im Spiel haben wir gesehen wie Ellie zu spät verzeihe und dadurch zerbrach ihr privates Leben mit Dina. Allgemein hat das Spiel eine anschauliche Welt mit vielen Möglichkeiten und wegen welche es zu erkunden gilt. Jedes Kapitel der Story hat offene und geschlossene Bereiche. Durch die verschiedensten Ausrüstungstücke ist es möglich nahezu jeden möglichen spielstil zu verwenden. Vom speedeunner bis zur Assassine… Expand

    I loved it. A huge upgrade over the first game, with an even more thought provoking story. The non-linear structure of it was odd at first, but it grew on me. The gameplay is tense, fun, and challenging. This is easily the best looking game I’ve played. The characters look photorealistic, helping the incredible performance. This game has beautiful environments, with tons of atmosphere.I loved it. A huge upgrade over the first game, with an even more thought provoking story.     Story-wise, this game is not meant to be a story of rainbows and unicorn farts. It's meant to hurt, it's meant to make you feel depressed and sad. This game shows that this world has no good or bad. People went into this thinking that Ellie and Joel are the good guys and everyone else is wrong. And over the course of the game, this is shown to not be true at all.     This is of course just my opinion, and you are entitled to your own, and please if you are going to leave a review on this game, may that be a good or bad one, please play the game for yourself. There are far too many people just saying it's the worst for the sake of it, this also goes for the people saying it's 10/10 for no reason. Please just play it and form your own opinion, don't watch someone else play it because you are not going to get the proper experience. It's a game it has to be played.

    God tier storytelling from Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann once again. Insanely good graphics and gameplay accompany a mature complex narrative. Everything you could ever wish for from a sequel to The Last of Us.

Yeah, firstly, there were some propagandistic moments but after Joel had died game greatly changed. I played all the sony exclusive games but The Last of Us 1/2 only made me cry. It is not ideal, but it exactly doesn't deserve to have 3.7 score!

    I really enjoyed it. I think the characters are well rounded and the dialogue still has it's old charm, the actual mechanics and gameplay still provide a fun challenge, as well as quite a lot of extra well integrated mechanics
    Gorgeous game visually too
    10/10 worth the 7 years wait

    Amazing game! Without doubt the most atmospheric game ever. At times feels like a return to survival horror glory days of tense dark indoor environments oozing with atmosphere. Graphics are unbelievable. Story may not be as strong as the first game but unpredictable and dark like a post apocalyptic game should be! The care taken on each environment is 2nd to none. The only shame is thatAmazing game! Without doubt the most atmospheric game ever. At times feels like a return to survival horror glory days of tense dark indoor environments oozing with atmosphere. Graphics are unbelievable. Story may not be as strong as the first game but unpredictable and dark like a post apocalyptic game should be! The care taken on each environment is 2nd to none. The only shame is that someone spent so long on designing a building you may only see for 2 mins or miss out all together as it's more open than the first game with multiple paths to the same linear goal.     the game has many drawbacks, but I still love it. Ellie's campaign is great but the abby campaign is already worse, it is not the worst in the world but it does not match the quality of the rest of the game. the ending is just as good as in the first part

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Is the most touching game I've ever played, just the way it finishes, gavem the exact same feeling of Ellie, it's a loneliness, sadness, and show us that in the world we have to give importance to the loved ones.
    The most interesting thing, it's because have shown us that every one has a story, and it's funny because when I heard that we would play as Abby I was just furious, but Naughty Dog did this part so good that In fact at the end, I was just rooting for nothing bad happens to either Ellie or Abby, and I really appreciate this hard working in history.
    The graphics are just insane, it's the best graphics of the generation. The gameplay is basically the first's one, the dodge move was a perfect addition, the scenarios was 100/10, every detail is perfect.

    It's without any doubt one of the best experience, and game that I have ever had the opportunity to play 10/10    … Expand

    Bueno...quiero aclarar que estoy haciendo esta crítica escuchando el temazo de los créditos del juego. Es un juego excelente, de lo mejor que he jugado en mis 5 años que llevo haciéndolo y su final es épico, cuando parece que ya lo acabas te sorprende con algo más y es lo que lo hace único para mi.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Wow, didn´t realize the hate out there - it made me sign up for metacritic to share my view - i´m german - so there will be some some language barriers, sorry for my english.

    First of all, I didn't read any reviews or watched any trailers, I wanted to experience the game "scar"-like - as a clean slate. I finished TLOU 1 a third time a week ago, to get into the feel for the new game. I played the game in hard, with scavenging on survivor - excellent choice!
    And I just think, this is the one of the best sequels of a game - and here is why:

    ND created a "realistic" world of what would happen, if such an infection were to havoc humanity. Society would collapse and many new forms of societal elements would arise - loners; military; cults; free societies; anarchists and so on. Humans aren't the apex predators anymore in this world - where the cordyceps are "united" in their mission, humanity is not (as nowadays)

    The core is a revenge story: Ellie wants to avenge the brutal murder of her love-hated father figure Joel. He is killed by a psychologically scarred women: Abby - whose father was killed by Joel in the first Part, as he rescues Ellie.

    The game will show you now both sides of the story and will force you to play them as well - two strong women on their personal revenge - and this is where the hate comes from, you as a player are FORCED to play both sides - and I loved it! In this fictitious and life threatening world, both women come to the same conclusion - life is not worth living if you can't forgive. Abby sees "the human" in the two Seraphites she has rescued - and Ellie sees it in Abby, as she finds her weakened, but still caring for her "Foster-Child" Lev. Ellie breaks the circle of unwanted and unconscious violence against each other and the mistakes they made (otherwise she would have scarred a new generation for revenge - Lev). Yes, you kill a lot of other human NPC´s and you don't care - because you don't know their story. This is the point the game is making - especially good in a real society where people are killed by other people flying drones with a joystick from home. The game is really violent - but such is life - normally we try to not look into it...

    But back to the game:

    - the mechanics are somewhat improved to the first one, mayor new feature is prone and you really need it on hard difficulty!!
    - The AI is top notch (it seems that on lower difficulties it isn't, because many people are complaining about it - play the TLOU 1 and check again)
    - Storytelling is great, you get immersed on a roller coaster ride of personal prejudices and you are forced to face them. "Everybody has it's reasons"
    - The graphics are incredible.
    - They should have offered "hard" (with scavenging on "survivor" - otherwise you will always have full resources for everything) as the lowest difficulty - that you as player feel this world - all others should have just watched a TV-Series - if you don't struggle in this game you can not get to the core of this fictitious world.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Una historia sumamente atrapante y e de decir que bastante ácida ,recomiendo jugarla al poder brindar una mirada bastante madura de la ética y moral en un mundo bastante individualista .
    Debo de mencionar que me siento complacido con la mayoría de deciciones tomadas salvo una problemática que siento ,es demaciado drama ,una cosa mala tras la otra le succeden a ellie y abby ,entiendo que sea el ciclo de odio pero llega un punto en el cual es casi desgastante sentir tantas emociones negativas .Menciono si acides por quedó si no tienes un buen día o una semana buena ,dios está nuevo te destroza emocionalmente .
    La segunda cuestión mala que siento es que abby tiene para un juego propio y siento que si historia salvo el principio como el final pero durante 4 o 6 horas la historia vuelca más al contexto de Seattle que ala situación de abby como ellie ,está bien ! Pero siento que es para un DLC y no historia principal .
    Si no fuera esté una parte 2 tal vez lo admitiría pero es una parte dos según el título .
    La tercera y última es que los grandes cambios se dan en las primeras 6 horas,para despues sentir que incluso ellie quiere parar ,cosa que se confirma con el final ,donde ella siempre quiso parar y siento como si la historia la obligará a ser así .
    La última cosa que si bien no es malo es que los diseños finales de Ellie,Tommy ,Dina,Abby Son sumamente más llamativos que los que se nos presenta en la mayoría de la campaña .
    En especial Ellie que se nota más madura y seguramente ya en el final cuando vuelve a su hogar abandonado por Dina está debe de estár rondando 21 o 22 años .
    GAMEPLAY
    En este apartado an mejorado muchísimo ,noto como se pulió bastante este juego hasta su último punto ,considero que puede tener una jugabilidad que rivalizar con dishonored 1 y eso es un gran avance .
    Cinemáticas ,sonido ,musica ,ambientación ,gráficos como siempre insuperables .
    Si diera una descripción final diría .
    Se acuerdan cuando el profesor nos pedía 3 hojas de tarea y el matado del salón traía 10 ,pues este es el caso ,El juego tiene lo que pedimos en esas 3 hojas (los flashback y campaña principal de ellie y abby en su final )pero el resto de 6 hojas no están mal pero podrían haber estado mejor para otro trabajo (un DLC )o para otra temática aparte (spin off)

    Sin más que decir espero que la parte 3 si es igual de larga ,sepa hacerlo de lo que se pide en una parte 3 y de ser así que la historia sea igual de emotiva pero porfavor ,un poco menos ácida .
    Un juego que debes de jugar si quieres presenciar los gráficos futuros así como una narrativa buena pero e de advertir que bastante pesada .
    Si eres fan del primero y de verdad lo compre diste ,es un 10 pero acabarás enojado con ellie .
    Si eres casual probablemente te saque de onda hará un 7
    A si que considero que está vez lo mejor es la mitad .
    Será de mis juegos favoritos por acontecimientos personales que los relaciono con la vida jodida de Ellie ,pero que sea uno de mis favoritos no tiene que quitar mi objetividad ,el juego es un 8 de referencia y cada quien sabe si lo baja a 7 o lo sube a 10.

    I believe this was necessary for the story. Naughty Dog really wanted to shock the player throughout the game and this was a good shock. I honestly don’t believe any other character dying would propel Ellie on such a journey and that’s why its so powerful. Last game was Joel’s story, this was Ellie’s. Not much needs to be said.

    The next big factor is Abby. At the start, we are made to hate this character but in time, she started to grow on me. After those first three hours or so, when I saw Joel’s life had been taken by this Abby, I despised her. Despised. I generally believed nothing was going to change my opinion about her. Even after I found out her reasoning easily I still hated her because I had an attachment to Joel and Ellie. She only started to really grow on me when we play as her during the second half. Her character is so very intricate. Of course the attachment did not compare to the attachment to Ellie by any stretch of the imagination. All the time, I was playing the game I was being very critical as there are high standards with the first game and I thought to myself, the whole story would essentially makes sense if it was just Ellie hunting down everyone and we didn’t see Abby’s perspective. However, although Abby’s 10 hour-ish journey comes at a very bad time as it slows the pacing down a lot, I think it’s relatively well done as it makes me feel empathy for her to an extent as I see the effect of my actions as Ellie and how it will simply continue this “cycle of violence”.

    I believe this game is meant to start conversation, a necessary one, about the power of hate and “an eye for an eye”. In this game, there is a strong sense of nihilism and bleakness, I came out of this game feeling extremely depressed and sad, there is little to no happiness in this game, except from a few flashbacks - some of the best cutscenes, which are very powerful for character development and few dialogue/scenes. Ellie playing the guitar for Dina in Boston (open-world part) is beautiful and I’m pretty sure this part can be missed if the player chooses not to explore the world fully and I’m lucky to see this scene. I don’t usually write reviews and I know this is ridiculously positive but I tried to find cons and there’s not many. However, this is my opinion, I have seen many reviews that are very negative and they back it up with plot holes and a depressing mood which is fair and I plan to be replay the game to really understand their points. I could tell certain parts of the game were cut, meaning the story didn’t move as fluid as I would like it at certain points however it didn’t really affect this experience for me.
    The ending is quite powerful. Although this game been out for 2-3 days now I’m already done as it was incredibly immersive. At first I was rather disappointed by the end so I went to sit and reflect to realise what really happened. Ellie didn’t kill Abby to break that cycle of violence and leaving the guitar was leaving behind that saga of blood caused by Joel as he “lived” through that guitar - it is powerful but not what any wanted or expected. Genius. Not many people will like this though because revenge wasn’t exacted for Joel and the journey may seem utterly pointless. Abby got to live, Dina leaves Ellie, and Ellie is left alone in a bleak and depressing world. In terms of the characters that join the cast in the second game, they are likeable but getting attached to them just propels the sadness and grief that fills Ellie’s world. I won’t go into much detail about gameplay, all you need to know is that it is ridiculously fluid and spectacular to be honest, the improvements from the first game are small yet incredibly effective, mixed with immense amount of detail put into graphics and everything else in the game et cetera, makes this an amazing experience however controversial. I want to say this game is not for everyone and maybe we aren’t even meant to like it, however it is an amazing experience. I will play it again to fully take in the breathtaking experience at a slower rate and find some cons. Honestly, this is one of the best video games I have ever played, it’s harsh, it’s brutal and it’s controversial which is fair and probably desired by Neil Druckmann when coming up with the story. It is like a 9 and a half, as no game is perfect, there are plot holes and uncomfortable decisions such as playing as Abby, killing dogs etc, but this isn’t meant to be a comfortable game, this is meant to **** everyone upemotionally and it succeeded for me    … Expand

    Качественное развитие идей первой части в плане геймплея - множество новых геймплейных механик которые разнообразят прохождение. Да это не прорыв для индустрии, но отличный уровень. Графика, анимации и все что связано с визуалом просто восхитительно, высший уровень! Сюжет сложный, запутаный и за ним весьма интересно следить, то как он играет с эмоциями игрока ещё не делала ни одна игра!     I can’t rate this game bad or else I can’t post it, but I’m not a bot like the rest of the 10/10 posts. Naughty Dog, you can’t simply continue a game and break it. Don’t fix something that isn’t broken. Not only did you break the story but you failed to fix it.

    I felt angry, sad, and mad. The exact emotions Ellie felt, and what pushed her forward. The writers wanted the player to experience those emotions as well, and I must say they succeeded. Even though I don't agree with how the story went, but I accept it since it's true to the world of ''TLOU''

The rainy, grungy feeling that Seattle has, together with Pearl Jam and Mark Lanegan songs, really did set the tone for me. I really liked the first half of the game. The second half of the game was the part that I liked the least since I really dislike Abby as a character. I never really cared about her past or motives. The fact that she did what she did to Joel made her automatically an enemy to my eyes. I really like how she suffered up to the very last minute. Also some deaths are extremely satisfying in chapter 3 and 4. Everyone that hasn't played it should definitely do so. Especially if you have played the first one. Do not pay attention to the noise. Naughty dog handled some issues very nicely and with respect. I disliked the fact that we play as Abby for quite a big part of the game, but I understand what the writers tried to do and I don't hate it.… Expand

I really don't know why people are hating this game so much. it's no the best game of course, it's not a masterpiece too but is a solid, fun game to play. Yes, sometimes the story it's weird or silly but that doesn't mean that the game is a 4.7 like currently is, it's not a 10 also but maybe a 7 or 8, yes, the game play is same as the first one with some improvements, not a game is perfect. But is fun man. A lot of games would love to have the graphics and the mechanics I mean for a PS4 to run it like it does it's pretty freaking awesome.
    The story is not the best but is not as awful as everyone is talking about. Yes, the ending is not as good I would like to be it could ended up when Ellie and Dina are in the farm and that's it.

Just because Joel dies for what he did to the Fireflies parents doesn’t make this a bad game. The ending is great too because it brought Ellie to her senses and made her realize she’d be leaving the kid without someone to care for it, which in essence, is what Joel was did to Abby and the other fireflies. And before you start saying that Ellie’s been “made” lesbian just for this game, please play the left behind DLC for the first game..… Expand

    I enjoyed this game. There is some room for improvement however in the story but the environment was breathtaking, combat was pretty fun and extremely brutal.

    • Story (8/10) The story is very well done. But to compare, which A LOT of people have, to the first game would be a major mistake. Part 1 and part 2 are both vastly different games in their style of tone, development, and character. Part 1 focuses on love, care, and grief; 3 concepts that require, quite literally, a whole game to develop. Concepts that make you love the characters you are with more and more with every step they take from Boston all the way to Salt Lake City (all true fans should know what that means). That type of detail requires calming and gradual build-up, how else are we going to develop care love for those characters? You cannot; it is a story arc that is very hard to master, which is what makes Last of Us 1 one of the best UNIQUE games of all time.
    o Part 2, again in contrast to part 1, is centered mainly on anger, vengeance, and hate, 3 concepts that do NOT require development to the same level that part 1 concepts did. I am not saying that is a bad thing at all, I am simply saying that the tone that is represented throughout the whole game stems upon those particular concepts, and naughty dog does a great job showing how this flows throughout the whole story. This can be seen and understood by just relating the characters actions and motives to ourselves.
    o When a person is angry they do not think straight, they let their frustration and rage get the better of them, and before you know it you are making mistakes that you would never have thought to do if you were thinking rationally, that is EXACTLY how part 2 plays out, and it is done so freaking well because these horrible decisions made by the characters is so rapid, so sudden, and so surprising. It is done so well to the point that it can anger players just for seeing what happened, and knowing how it is going to follow up throughout the game (which happened to me a few times, but that is exactly the point.) That is what makes this story so intense, so energetic, and so much fun.
    o Now of course one argument you may give is: why would I care about such vengeful characters? Why feel attached to characters that are so hateful? Well that is sort of the dilemma and the challenge. Throughout the game you are thinking to yourself whether you want to root for the characters from beginning to end or wish them dead. The story gives you reasons to both love and hate these characters. Their actions can be argued to be justified and not justified, which makes the tone of the game so convoluted, and goes to show that anger, hate, and vengeance are never the answer. This at first will drive gamers crazy, you may even wonder if it is worth rooting for anyone at all, heck I struggled finding reasons to root for these characters, but that is what made me love it so much. The AGENDA of this game, from what I see, is that vengeance isn’t the answer, and you could end up losing everything if it consumes you.
    o Also, a big thing that I think this game does a VERY good job with is closing out on one of the biggest cliffhangers ever made in gaming, and through it develop new story arcs for other characters, which inherently creates our new story in part 2.
    o Again though, DO NOT expect the same type of feelings and tone you get throughout part 1 in part 2, you’ll be IMMENSLY frustrated and disappointed for the entire game if you do.

    • Gameplay (7/10) The gameplay can honestly be summed up with one word, and one word only: STEALTHY. Now that may seem like a weird word to use, but really there is no other way to mention the game play. You have to think on your feet with the scarce supplies that is available in order to take out the enemies that are coming at you from every possible direction. I personally really liked the game play, because I am a very big fan of stealth, but for some it can get very repetitive and tedious (which is understandable). But hey if you want to go in guns blazing at enemies, make sure you have a solid one hit kill weapon handy     … Expand

Сюжет 10 из 10, во избежании спойлеров мало что буду говорить про него, но, сюжетные ходы там просто отличные, они не ожиданные, грустные, радостные, сюжет не стоит на месте, постоянно что-то происходит, в осном обстановка накаляется, и становится всё хуже и хуже, сложнее и сложнее, персонажам тяжело, и происходит то, из-за чего им становится ещё тяжелее, ты понимаешь мотивацию как и главных героев, так и со временем мотивацию другой стороны, все персонажи максимально хорошо прописаны, и ты сопереживаешь каждому, ты постоянно плачешь на протяжении всей игры. Крайне рекомендую пройти ремастер первой части перед второй частью, иначе вы абсолютно нечего не поймёте в этой игре. Так же все спойлеры которые были в сети, оказались фейком, сюжет развивается совершенно по другому, так что кто начитался, не переживайте, всё враньё и обман. Теперь по поводу ЛГБТ и Феминизма, это присутствует, но, только в начале, когда Элли называет Сета шовинистом, за то что он её назвал не хорошем словом потому что она поцеловалась с Диной при всех на вчерашней пьянке в баре, а Джоэл его за это толкнул. Чуть позже Элли с Диной находят заброшенный подвал своего умершего друга-наркомана Юджина, в нём он выращивал "Травку", после не долгого обследования данного помещения они находят банку с "Косяками" (Косяк — жаргонное название папиросы с марихуаной), во время употребления данного вида наркотических изделий, Дина задаёт вопрос Элли:-"По десятибалльной шкале... где один-полный отстоище, а десять-верх блаженства... как бы ты оценила тот наш поцелуй?" После чего Дина говорит:-"По-моему, шесть." Потом Дина сообщает что:-"Шестёрка меня не устроит", и происходит ещё один поцелуй между ними. Больше за всю игру не ЛГБТ, не Феминизма не будет, так что кто очень переживал, не бойтесь, спойлер оказался не правдой что весь сюжет якобы про это.
    Подведём итоги, моя оценка этому шедевру 10 из 10, это лучшая игра в которую я играл, до этого на первом месте была первая часть, теперь она на втором.    … Expand

    Gráficos: paisagens detalhadas e realistas de acordo com a luz natural, personagens com expressões faciais fieis, reflexos e água excelentes, sangue e órgãos detalhados visualmente e com ângulos de projeções convincentes, além de armas bem detalhadas as interações nas bancadas.
    Interações: os diálogos durante a jornada trazem maior sensação de confiança com os aliados que eram estranhos no início. Os personagens apresentam reações nos rostos ao aplicar força, tremedeiras ao sentir medo, modo de queda diferente de acordo com qual lado cair, reações a chuva e possuem roupa molhada ao reagir com água.
    História: envolvente com vários tipos de amor e sentimentos como: felicidade, luto, raiva, pena, ciúmes e entre outros. Vale ressaltar que a história foi linear como prometido, então entregaram como prometeram não tendo como se decepcionar nesse quesito.

The Last of Us felt like a story, but also about people. The ending was definitely a scope of people and the decisions they make, for better or worse. Last of Us Part II takes that scope and puts it everywhere. Life is just people and the decisions they make, for better or worse. They just let it all happen right in front of you and leave you to sort out where you sit among it all and that's an insightful challenge. I enjoyed just sitting back at the credits and thinking, "wow, how do I feel about all this?" My only true critique is that the story narrative organically ends long before the game does. I understand that putting the Santa Barbara section in later as a DLC would have been damning to public regard, and that this will mostly not have another installment so ending it here was the only option. It just felt like overtime, but I still found the final scene with Joel to be very powerful and am overall satisfied.

    The combat was similar enough for me to regain my bearings after spending years away from the first and I found that inspiring in a sense of, "Ok. I remember the flow now, I'm back in this." Jumping from one character to another with different equipment kept things fresh as a way of problem solving from a different angle.    … Expand

Creo que ha faltado un poco el efecto sorpresa, sin embargo eso no influye negativamente. A nivel jugable es una maravilla, parte de la base delA nivel narrativo no llega a ser tan redondo como la primera entrega, la típica historia de venganza en el mundo de The Last Of Us, sin embargo creo que saben conducir la historia perfectamente y generar los momentos de tensión en todo momento. A nivel jugable es una maravilla, parte de la base del primer juego y retoca y perfecciona el control de los personajes sin perder la esencia anterior. Las expresiones faciales y lo humanos que se sienten todos (enemigos incluidos) le da un realismo casi nunca visto dentro de la industria. Naughty Dog ha conseguido que algo tan típico dentro de un videojuego como es matar, se convierta en algo completamente desagradable y difícil de hacer. Es cierto que el juego es inclusivo, y sinceramente no me ha acabado de cuajar lo de Lev, pero en general es un juego excelente, y no merece críticas negativas por la politizacion.     This game is not as good as the original, but that's not to say it isn't powerful. Game wise, it's just as good as the last, if not better. Story wise, i think the story is not as unique and powerful as the first.

    This story suffers with poor execution. This game overuses flashbacks and retroactive storytelling. I think if this story was ordered differently, while still retaining SOME flashbacks, I think it would be very good, but as it is, the story i think does not live up to expectations. Many people are mad that is overuses the 'revenge is bad' story line, but I really don't think that's true, it's just that it retroactively uses that, instead of doing at the time.

    Overall though, definitely worth playing, and definitely not worth the mountains of poor reviews here. Good game, but maybe trying to hard to top the first and create something unique, instead creating something somewhat jumbled and unsatisfying.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
