I really liked the game, i hated it at first because of what they did story wise, it was just so quick and at first i thought to myself "How can Joel be so careless" But after finishing the game i get it, he lived in Jackson for 5 years, he's getting older and is softening up a bit, still feels guilty to Ellie for what he did in the first game. Joel took Ellie her goal/purpose in life away from her, she was supposed to die in that hospital for a possible vaccine and she was okay with it. I have trouble with writing out how i feel precisely about the game, but i really liked it, the story it told & the general message about the cycle of revenge and vengeance was super. I hated playing as Abby on day 1 but through the cutscenes and discovering her dad was killed by Joel, her interactions with her group of friends and Yara and Lev made me really like her. The graphics, level design, music are also super. seriously impressive. I liked the improved combat system with the dodging mechanic and being able to squeeze through small spaces. The upgrade animations were also super cool and i enjoyed watching those. For me this game was for sure a worthy sequel and a 10/10. It's sad to see the hate online and the review bombing on here (i feel like 70% off those havent even played the game or even own a PS4 to begin with)

    I remember Neil saying the game would divide the fanbase, and it sure did. I really enjoyed it though and i'd like to thank everyone at Naughty Dog for making the game. I hope they are doing fine and are proud of the game besides all the undeserved hate and controversy regarding the game.    … Expand

    The game is awesome and playing the 2d part of it really makes you understand and even, if not like, but not to hate Abby. To all the nay-sayers over here - just play the game. The gameplay is still 1010, and the story is a great continuation to the original's storyline. The few complaints I have are repetition of some NPC models, especially in the beginning of the game and the SJW topicsThe game is awesome and playing the 2d part of it really makes you understand and even, if not like, but not to hate Abby. To all the nay-sayers over here - just play the game. The gameplay is still 1010, and the story is a great continuation to the original's storyline. The few complaints I have are repetition of some NPC models, especially in the beginning of the game and the SJW topics being a bit over the top.     So much hate...it's sad. I don't understand why people put so much 0 for this game. That's not being objective at all. I did like the game, very mature, nice graphics, nice gameplay (yes similar to the first but I do think they had to respect at some points the last of us 1).Yes a bit long at some points but I like exploration in games so it doesn't bother me much.     I loved everything about this game, from the graphics the combat and to the story. I’ve seen negative reviews about Last of us part 2 but I just don’t understand it. But anyways You should DEFINITELY play this game especially if u played the first one

    This game has a wonderful plot. It shows very well that in a post apocalyptic world there are no good people and revenge is senseless. But to understand this you need to have an open mind and go through the whole game to the end because then you will understand it well. A game has an amazing audiovisual setting that completes this post dark apocalyptic atmosphere.

It really makes you feel like Abby is not such a **** by great character development. The ending is even great because it shows that Ellie is ready to end the “cycle” of constant agony by not killing Abby, if she did kill her the kid would of probably grown up and tried to kill Ellie.… Expand

    Gameplay - TLoU 1 but better, main additions is that now you can prone (discovered how it it actually was mid game), and you can dodge now, making melee combat ok.

    Difficult Design - this game has a lot of customization on different aspects of gameplay, resources to find, enemies awareness, limit on actions you can make (some stealth kills are not allowed on higher difficulties), how much allies will help you in combat.

    Accessibility - A lot of options on in game feedback, from itens radar to magnifying parts of the screen, ultra contrast for enemies, sound feedback. Some come really in hand.

    Subtitles - you can have subtitles yellow.

    Trophies - as a casual player this is very welcome, but can understand some people getting upset, there are no more trophies for completing the game on each difficulty, you get only one for completing the game, and now there are less stupid ones, like finding every audio interaction with npcs (thank god).

    Gameplay time SPOILER FOR SOME PEOPLE--------------------------------------------------------------------------
    I played almost twenty five hours for the first play through (for a linear game.... oh boy), the game seems to never and, and trying to play in one go can and probably will make you sick, so I recommend playing a In game day or so per real day (just an personal recommendation), as it will also help in getting that intense story more spaced.

    Final Thoughts - With this kind of direction I would play even if the main character was a schizophrenic clown, that in reality was a dead cat's nightmare

However, the story is not what I would call “bad” and its parts directly linked to the first one are as awesome as it was in the first game. The thing is, TLOU1 has set the bar too damn high. They showed us how a hero in one story is a villain in others and they gave us the best ending we could ever get. The world is not perfect, human are not perfect.     I cryd a few times because the Story is so deep and you feel with the Characters. You feel the pain and the madness of Elli. A another Point is absolutely fantastic you see the Story from different Sites and because of this you understand why these people do this Things and at the End the hole Story makes sense. For me its the best game I've ever seen before.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I actually find it annoying that this game was bombed with negative reviews within hours of its release. As someone who has played the entire game I can confidently say that it is amazing, I do not believe it is better than the first one however it doesn't come too far off. The fact that people are giving the entire game 0 out of 10 reviews is a shame before even playing it because they're pressed about the death of Joel. Regardless I never thought of that to be a problem when it came to gameplay or visuals, people are saying the entire game is trash due to the fact that they're butthurt about one thing which truly is unfair to people who wanted to play the game as they get a misconstrued idea of what the game actually is. I had no problem with any of the gameplay, in fact I believe the gameplay aspect was better than the first. The biggest criticism of the game is the storyline, I agree it is worse than the first game but as a whole it really isn't even a quarter as bad as people make it out to be. The only thing I didn't like about it was the ending sequence between Ellie and Abby, I understand peoples frustration how she didn't even end up getting killed because trust me, I was just as annoyed. However, people don't appreciate the cutscenes we got between Ellie and Joel which to me provided more meaning to their relationship and ended the game in almost a perfect manner. I didn't care who I controlled, as long as I got a good game and I certainly did. Though as the player we are tasked with the impossible challenge to feel sympathetic toward Abby, we at least are provided with an explanation to her motives and know what her revenge story is as the game isn't completely about Ellie, and the gameplay we are given whilst controlling Abby is some of the best in the game (such as the hotel and hospital sequences). If you are a salty 14 year old kid who can't deal with the fact that the main character isn't playable in this game, you need to grow up, Naughty Dog took a bold move and still made one of the best games to play without him. Its not like we saw nothing of Joel the whole way through, in fact the cutscenes we got were probably more meaningful than any gameplay we could have had with Joel, so I advise people to actually play the game - yes the story isn't as good but the game is incredible… Expand

    This game sent me on an emotional rollercoaster, I’ve cried happy and sad tears, It’s such a beautiful but also very heartbreaking game at the same time.
    I appreciate the fact that this game feels real. Life isn't just black and white and it sure as hell isn't a fairy tale.

    The story writing is poor compared to the first part. But the game looks beautiful and breathtaking. Gameplay got improved, and overall I liked it. But it will never be as wonderful as the fist part.

Jogo sensacional uma obra prima não tenho muito Oq falar, esse jogo dividiu muito bem os fãs de Last Of Us dos Fãs do Joel , antes de jogar não tava confiante e quando joguei odiei completamente a morte do Joel porém Ss os motivos da abby são suficientes pelo que ela fez infelizmente querendo ou não Joel teve Oq merecia, a abby teve Oq merecia quando perdeu seus amigos e a Ellie recebeu Oq merecia por ter matado os amigos da abby ! Porém esse não tem um lado certo seja Ellie ou abby pois cada um tem seu ponto de vista e julga está fazendo o certo pois no mundo que se passa não tem mais definição de certo ou errado.
    Bom esse 2 jogo se sustenta inteiro no 1 E tudo que ocorre aqui foi tudo causado pelas ações do Joel, por favor parem de reclamar da morte do Joel pq ele moveu tudo ele foi o foco msm morto o jogo foi todo desenvolvido nele por causa dele !     Gameplay

    The game is far from perfect, even story wise, but first let's see the technical aspects. The gameplay is virtually unchanged from the first part of the game. That's a 7 year old title, which wasn't exactly ground breaking even then. I haven't seen a QTE in a game for a long time,

    However there are improvements to the gameplay, but mostly just streamlining. I could play this more effectively than the first one, the stealth seems more smooth and predictable. And in most encounters you can actually choose if you take down all enemies or stealth through, both approaches are effective.

    The gameplay doesn't get boring, because it is broken up by cutscenes, and slower segments of exploration. And on top of that the game switches between multiple playable characters that have slightly different abilities. There are also occasional flashback sequences.

    What I found most annoying is the constant shortage of resources. And it's not the availability of resources in the environment, but the fact that you can't stock up on things. Your ammo carrying capacity is limited to 6-10 bullets / weapon. That is ridiculously low. And you can only carry 3 of each crafting material, when many of the materials are shared between multiple craftable items.

    The gameplay is solid even if a bit disappointing in terms of there being no new mechanics at all. The combat difficulty setting is quite meaningless, as the hardest part of the game is when you fight monsters that instakill you. And there is no difference in that whether you play on hardest or easiest. So the game is not "journo easy" to say the least.

    The technical aspects

    There are areas where the game made huge leaps. Namely character animations. This game has the best animations, facial and otherwise that I've seen in anything. It seems to me that they made the leap where people's muscles are actually simulated, I mean the body parts are not rigid, but change their shape depending on movements and actions, as the muscles contract and relax. I have not seen that in any other game to date.

    The graphics is up there with the best, but not actually the best. I think in terms of characters Detroit Become Human still has it beat, and in terms of the environment Ghost Recon Breakpoint is superior. But this one is not far behind, and of course this is great in both the environment and the characters, so not just a one trick pony like those games.

    The Story

    Oh this is the hard bit to judge without specifics. First thing first: I could not detect an ounce of SJW influence in the game, or feminist frequency for that matter. The writing is not suffering like in the case of XCOM Chimera Squad, the characters aren't quota mandated, or defined by their gender. There is no dunking on men, or proclaiming of female superiority or any trans sex for that matter.

    There is nothing to fear unless you are disheartened by the mere inclusion of a strong female character. And strong in this case means physically strong.

    The main focal point of the story is trying to humanize the enemy. Which funny enough I was contemplating in my review of the first Last of Us, that the bad guys are always portrayed as psychopaths or sociopaths in these stories and it made no sense to me. Well that changes here and now. As we see the story playing both sides. In fact in my case, and I may be alone in this, the roles were completely reversed. I was actually rooting for the supposed anti-hero.

    The first 20 hours of the game was pretty amazing, I enjoyed the hell out of it. But we should've left things as they were in Seattle. If the story stopped right after that I'd have named this game of the year. But no, they had to just keep dragging it on, and on, and on. This is a clear case where less would've been more.

    Everything that happens after Seattle feels rushed, there are huge leaps in time and space, that make zero sense. It's as if they suddenly cancelled The Last of Us 3 and quickly slapped the key points of it's proposed story arc to the end of this game. I hated that bit, for being so depressive.
    Final thoughts

    This was a roller coaster alright, unfortunately one that just slid off the tracks at the, instead of coming to a graceful stop at a station. That said however I wouldn't have missed the first 20 hours of the game for any reason.

    I know this is advice that is impossible to keep, but you are better off quitting the game after Seattle and never finishing it. It would've been better for me for sure. I feel miserable now. I felt hopeful at that point. But the fact that I feel miserable is a kind of testament to the quality of writing. My subconscious cannot tell that these are fictional characters, and I feel awfully sorry for them, even though my conscious mind knows it's not real.    … Expand

    Amazing game! The graphics are ridiculously beautiful. The story is complex and poignant. I know some people think the gameplay is clunky but it works for me. I was sad with a certain aspect of the story but honestly expected it from the trailer and it works well with the whole story.

    I finally finished the game, and I really enjoyed it! The story is certainly a sad and dark tale, but I loved how it made me question themes like revenge and whether or not it was really all worth it for the characters I was so invested in coming out of the first game.

    I feel like a game is the perfect way to tell a story like this by letting me play as characters from both sides of the story. The setup makes it feel like a traditional tale of revenge with a clear hero and villain, but very quickly makes you question who's really the hero, or if anyone's really the "good guy" at the end of the day.

    Ultimately I ended up rooting for all the characters to somehow figure out a way to win, and I think it's really amazing that the story was able to pull that off.

    The gameplay felt solid; aiming/shooting mechanics seemed improved a bit from the first game, although the looting system (largely the same as the first game) detracted from the story a bit. There were times when the story was conveying a sense of urgency that I needed to be somewhere, but I couldn't help searching every corner of an abandoned building looking for items I might need. I think it resulted in a balanced and fun combat system where I had to think about what weapons I might use in a certain encounter based on what I had, but a part of me wishes I could've focused on the story instead. There's a New Game +, and I'm considering playing through again with all my gear, but on a lower difficulty so I can experience the story without having to worry about looting as much.    … Expand

As I clearly understand a good ammount of people will lack the maturity to accept this story (and you are not, in any mean, forced to like it), it is impossible to deny that the narrative level here is amazing. But this gane shows that every good guy is allways the villain in the story of someone else. And if you thoight Joel is or was a hero then you didnt understand part 1

At the end of The Last of Us Part II, there are several scenes which end on a cut to black which holds for a few seconds before the next scene begins. During many of the holds, I thought that was it: the game was done and that was the end. And though some were more happier and some were devastating, each of them would have been a powerful ending. The way that each new scene could rephrase or restate everything going before it was astounding. Any of these endings would have worked but still each new one deepened my appreciation for the game.

    The only reason any of that works, then is because the game first weaves an intensely intricate story, spending hours establishing the setting, introducing and developing characters, and presenting themes and motifs that are echoed in these "endings".

    Of course this game doesn't do that on its own, it obviously leans on its predecessor. This is the best kind of sequel, one that deepens your appreciation of the original not by retreading the same points, instead it deepening the emotional core of the first game. I think "Part 2" is an appropriate name. This isn't telling the next "The Last of Us" story. This is telling the second half of the same story.

    I don't think I need to say that the presentation (graphics, audio, VO/MC performances) of the game is amazing. The gameplay was enjoyable, making only a few quality of life improvements from the formula of the first game. I played on a harder-than-I-normally-would difficulty, which forced me to be much more tactical, taking time to scour for supplies and choose carefully when to use them. Playing this way helped the gameplay build into the dire, fight and claw for your life mood of the setting.

    I sympathize with anyone who wanted this to be a different game. I've been there before and it's not fun. But by taking the game on its own terms, what I got from this game was an immensely impactful emotional experience. While not everyone will love the story even on its terms, I don't think it's fair to compare the game against what you hoped. Because what it we do have is something pretty amazing.    … Expand

    I finished the game today and for me ist is a masterpiece! Here is why:

    Ellie, Ellie, Ellie! That Girl is so badass! i really enjoyed here seeking for revenge and here romance with Dina it all makes here so human (maybe more then some gamers nowadays can handle?)
    I hated to see Joel dying that early in the Game but thats the only thing i really dislike. Ok, maybe i wanted to jump off the roof with abby when i was forced to play her in the second half of the Game but that is what makes the Game so awesome. You have to get over that anger and try to understand what she did (btw i still hate her). It really broke my heart when i had to fight and nearly kill Ellie with her but i still felt glad that Ellie spared her life in the very End. She finally was able to make a cut and move on. I really hope they develop a 3rd Game and Ellie finds back to Dina and JJ, they are both her family and the only way she finds love and peace in the End.

    If you want a game that really gives you unforgetable Memorys and feelings this one is a must-buy.

    I replayed the first game and the DLC before starting on this game so I could better appreciate the changes/upgrades and it was worth it! The environments and scenery is gorgeous, I love the enhancements and add-ons to the combat and sneaking mechanics. El juego aunque no perfecto (pongo 10 para nivelar con los que ponen 0, pero le pondría un 7-8) es bastante bueno, el gameplay es bastante divertido y satisfactorio, tanto graficos con banda sonora son espectaculares y la historia tiene bastante sentido con la primera parte. El juego es triste, demasiado triste algunas veces y por esto parece que a tan hateado, pero la realidad es que todo lo que ocurre en el juego está justificado, la muerte de Joel era necesaria por todos sus errores y sus pecados (aunque me hubiera gustado que fuera un poco después), la implementación de poder jugar con Abby es bastante buena para poder entender sus razones y empatizar con ella, dándonos cuenta de que en este juego no hay bien ni mal, si no que todo depende del punto de vista. Personalmente soy de los que creen que se debería haber podido elegir si matar o no a Abby (yo no la mataría), pero fuera de eso me encantó el juego.… Expand

    Es un excelente juego, el final no era algo que todos esperábamos, lo cual le disgustó a muchos de los jugadores pero eso no define al juego. El final no era tan predecible como algunos otros sucesos pero eso lo hace diferente y al ser diferente no es el típico juego donde ya te puedes esperar muchas cosas en la historia.

Anyone can die and the moral conflicts will have you wondering if you're the hero and if you'll get your revenge. If you must be the hero who get theirs way then this game may not be for you and any other fair-weather gamers. Excellent story telling and character development. Expansive environment is overwhelming to explore at times and enemy AI is a little lackluster.

    No gamer enjoys having the character you play as swapped unknowingly mid game. I was so upset I stopped and waited until I got some sleep. The emotional toll is so real I didn't want to play as the person I should be killing. While my view of the character didn't change from seeing her story, its all a vicious cycle and Joel didn't NEED to kill everyone at the hospital, I began to take joy in knowing everything she had was being taken from her while you play from her perspective. The saddest part was losing Owen, who seemed to struggle more realistically with being a good friend and wanting to leave Joel in the past. His character would of done well in a longer story. The ending for me was great and satisfied. It was not about Ellie getting revenge but getting right with herself. The struggle between wanting to have died for a cure and accepting the love of Joel for saving her was a real balance Ellie needed to find. She felt bad for having telling him He should have let her die and felt obligated to avenge his death. If you don't like the story then go read some books. Not every games story you play should have the exact same story arc outline and meet your character expectations.    … Expand

    This is THE game of generation, everybody should play this, do not lisen to other people that are saying game is bad and story sucks, just play it and have your own opinion, i saw the leaks and i did not liked them, but when you finish the game, you will see why this is the BEST GAME and best story telling experiance you every saw, just give it a shot, it will be worth it

    The story is very unconventional. It offers decisions and twists never seen in a video-game before. It is very mature and controversial and I am afraid that most of the players aren't ready yet to play anything else than easy, straightforward and simple to understand games.
    Creating this game was a brave move from the developers but I think that the gaming society is not ready for it yet. I truly believe that one day it will be perceived as a milestone in the gaming industry.

    Look at the difference between Critic Reviews and User Reviews. Why is that? Game journalists are adult and mature people with years of experience with video-games. A user can be anyone for example 14 years old kid who is just not ready to process all the emotions and moral topics this game provides.

No bad story can make you feel this many feelings, no bad story can cause such an impact on people, and what an impact this one left on me, I want to play it again but at the same time I don't, I loved the gameplay and the story (even if it wasn't what I wanted or expected), but I don't want to feel all those things again, this marked me, and that's something only great storytelling can do.
    I'll never forget this game and how it made me feel.

    Different story then I was expecting , sad but raw ( life is raw ... and it never goes how you want .... get used to it ) , not for kids who want happy endings and stereotyped characters. I liked the game! I think I would be more disappointed if this was only a "DLC" for the first one.

    Divisive as it is, the story is there as a story told by the studio, and not just fulfilling the fans' fantasies.
    The somewhat different settings manages to pay respect to the original game, and bring new and refreshing additions to the world of The Last of Us.

    Да, создателям удалось привить мне симпатию к Эбби, которую на сцене смерти Джоэла я просто ненавидел. Та часть игры, где мы играем за Эбби — наверное, лучшая во всей игре, ну а людей, критика которых основана на ее внешности я понять не могу абсолютно, потому как в процессе погружения в её историю ты напрочь об этом забываешь. Её дуэт со Львом — это как чистика первой части, из-за чего я просто не смог остаться равнодушен.

    То, когда играя за Эбби ты видишь ещё живыми тех персонажей, которых скоро ты же и убьешь, играя за Элли, даёт какие-то непередаваемые эмоции: они шутят, смеются, планируют свою жизнь, и, как оказывается, не являются законченными ублюдками, но через пару часов ты же их и убьёшь (да, про это сказали уже все, но это важнейшая часть сюжета и не упомянуть ее нельзя)

    С одной стороны — тебе очень сложно пытаться убить Элли в театре играя за Эбби, а с другой — тебе безумно не хочется топить Эбби, играя уже за Элли в самом конце. Такого в играх я не испытывал никогда, браво.

    Ну а про смысл последнего диалога Элли и Джоэла думаю и говорить не стоит, ибо в нем и заложен весь смысл того, что происходит в игре. Игра (ну или по крайней мере её конец) не про бессмысленную месть, как могло показаться сначала.

    С нетерпением жду новый проект ND, и очень надеюсь, что это будет нечто новое, потому что очень уж интересно, чем они нас удивят.    … Expand

You are given a wide variety of tools to engage enemies in a multitude of visceral ways, keeping the combat consistently fresh and engaging. Areas and combat encounters are wide with lots of space and potential routes toward progression that make repeat playthroughs distinctively different. Not to mention the unprecedented level of difficulty customisation. The visuals are stunning and the atmosphere is unquestionably "The Last of Us."     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. "The Last of Us" was the closest we will get to playing Cormac McCarthy's "The Road". It was an absolutely stunning game that elevated the medium in nearly every conceivable way. There was no need for a sequel as the narrative ended on such a poignant moment of universal insight and reflection, that to attempt a sequel would risk destroying that prior accomplishment.

    Naughty Dog went ahead and developed a sequel regardless. While Part 1 was "The Road", Part II is The Last of Us by way of "Blood Meridian or the Evening Redness in the West". It stands as the single most unrelenting nihilistic narrative I've ever experienced, and will likely ever experience, in the medium. The game will not please everyone, but the first title didn't offer a traditionally satisfying narrative either. The developers seemingly wallow in misery, but do so with a clear purpose. Many other reviewers here have marked the title down (some illegitimate, far fewer who have actually played the game to completion) because of the punches this game refuses to pull. They are experiencing the stages of grief. Their reviews exist as funeral pyres for fictitious characters they thought deserved better. I don't disagree that some of these characters deserved better. I would have liked to believe that there was light in the darkness. That's not the narrative that is being told here. It hurts.

    This is not the game many people wanted to play. Neil Druckmann has crafted a fetid existential wasteland of the soul. This does not mean this is a bad game. It's truly a remarkable accomplishment on every front. While I was one of the people who did not want a sequel to Part I, now that we have Part II, I would adore a Part III, if for no other reason than to hold out hope that "it can't be for nothing."    … Expand

I heard that there are a lot of negative user reviews going around out there and I do believe it is just cancel culture and homophobia at its finest trying to tank the game. Fortunately for me, I decided early on that I would not indulge myself in too many spoilers early on since the development of this game was announced and I suggest anyone that plays do the same.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. No doubt in my mind that it’s the greatest game I’ve ever played. From the story to gameplay it’s absolutely a 10 out of 10 and I would recommend it to anyone that hasn’t played the game yet. One of my favorite things about the game was the guitar, it had a very symbolic meaning behind it and it was beautiful. In my honest opinion, you have to think quite hard to understand the entire storyline from beginning to end and the meaning behind the game to understand why what happened, happened.

    You might not understand why Abby wasn’t killed at the end so I’ll try to explain it the way I interpreted it.

    The game was advertised as a revenge story right? So you would think Abby should’ve died but she didn’t. Why? Because they got out of an endless cycle of revenge. How did they get out of the endless cycle of revenge? - An uncommon, socially unaccepted choice they made creates a family bond of love which gives them both a chance of redemption. Ellie has accepted JJ, a child who was not born yet by Dina who kissed Ellie when she knew she was pregnant and started a relationship. Ellie had to face the humiliation that she left Dina once to go on revenge (the part where Jesse and Ellie split up, I'm sure you understand what I'm talking about). Abby accepted Lev, a kid from a cult she hated and is most skilled at killing who saved her. Abby had to face the humiliation and regret of killing Joel cowardly to accept Lev. What did they have to pay? Ellie paid a part of herself, her two fingers were lost during the last battle and she couldn't play the guitar properly anymore. Her guitar holds her dearest memories of Joel, and Joel's song sounds broken without her two fingers, she lost a part of herself physically and symbolically. Abby paid her whole group of friends and trusted comrades. Now that is the true moral argument of the story: revenge will not lead to anything good but it's inevitable. Empathy and sympathy seems impossible to be established but at some point you will have to show some, do it for the ones you love, they're hurt if you're trapped in that cycle too. It felt like the consequences of chasing revenge at all costs was the lesson being taught to Ellie, not the player. I actually think that whole plot element is enhanced by the dramatic irony that the player can see a mile away the road she's on. The player is meant to learn empathy and perspective, through learning that Abby has understandable reasons for doing what she does as well, even if they aren't moral from an absolute perspective. Morally reprehensible or even downright monstrous actions can seem justified, depending on your perspective.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
