    Es una obra maestra que no todo el mundo va a saber apreciar. Visualmente hay un trabajo excelente por parte del equipo, con una jugabilidad, historia, arte, música y sonido más que sobresaliente. No entiendo las notas negativas sobre este juego, pero cada uno tiene sus gustos. Espero que se creen muchos más juegos a este nivel.

    I love the fact that the game, Naughty Dog, specifically, choose two lesbian protagonists that hardly ever never featured in most AAA games. Kudos to ND for doing what’s right. The gameplay is cleaner than Part 1. I can’t wait for multiplayer. I love both games, but this recent installment makes me love it even more.     The story is pretty good for me but the ending should have been different in my opinion. If you could choose between 2 different endings:

    where you could leave the revenge behind you and live a life with Dina and JJ.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really don't understand why this game is getting so much hate (Review bombing apparently). The game was beautiful. The only reason I give it a 9/10 Instead of a 10 is because of the last 2ish hours, where you leave Dina and JJ and go back for your last chance at revenge. I get why Ellie did it, she needed to reach that point of full on revenge to realize that it would bring nothing but more suffering and sadness. I just wish she would have stayed with baby momma lol. It showed that the people in this world were all dealing with the same struggles as each other. Its a post apocalyptic world, did people really think Joel wouldn't die? He killed a hospital full of fireflies in pt.1 and no one that there would be repercussions? Lol I loved the first one so much and I think I loved this one just as much. I didn't like playing as Abby at first, especially the first like hour or so, but by the end I saw her and Ellie as equals. Everyone in this world is fighting for something, and the mirroring of their stories was done perfectly. I don't want a 3rd game though lol this ended perfectly. I'm happy with the game and that's all that matters to me.… Expand

El hecho de dar un fondo más allá de el como se siente Ellie por la muerte de Joel con la vista de Abby y sus motivos para matarlo y buscando el trasfondo de el meollo es el por que este juego se me hizo magnífico, el como te hace sentir incomodidad no solo visualmente si no jugabilisticamente cuando casi llegando a el final tienes que usar a Abby para pelear con Ellie, algo que claramente no quieres hacer pero el juego te obliga a hacerlo, es de lo mejor, amo como te manejan a ti como jugador y espectador, te hacen replantear pensamientos y de más, es una joya entera… Expand

    The game, inspite of all the hate that a lot o people are giving it, is a masterpiece.. with a new thematic and story, showing us that desicions have concequences. is a real life history, not just fairytales. Love it.

    Incredible game from start to finish, a real emotional roller coaster with so many underlying messages. The visuals are insane and the gameplay mechanics are even better than the last. A must play and a real contender for game of the year.

    This game is even better than the last. The mechanics of game play are awesome, the upgraded crafted is great. There are so many new tools at your disposal I love it. The character development with Joel and Ellie is heart wrenching all the way through and the twists are killer. To the people saying that this game is pushing a politics agenda... wtf? Eu entendo as críticas negativas, mas não consigo concordar com quem diz que esse jogo não tem nenhum valor. Só pela gameplay excelente e gráficos lindos de morrer ele já vale no mínimo 5. Além disso, a trama, quer você goste ou não, é envolvente, isso não tem como negar. Quanto à qualidade da história, essa é a parte onde as coisas ficam realmente subjetivas. Fiquei um dia sem tirar esse jogo da cabeça depois que eu terminei, e não por um motivo ruim, mas porque ele me fez sentir coisas que eu nunca tinha sentido (ou pelo menos não nessa intensidade) e que até agora eu ainda acho difícil explicar. Não é o jogo que eu queria. Definitivamente não. Mas é o jogo que eu precisava. É o jogo que o mundo precisa entender nesse momento que estamos vivendo. E é um jogo que está escancarando quem nós somos por dentro, e isso às vezes não é bonito de se ver. Talvez por isso muita gente não esteja gostando, não sei. Talvez por isso eu tenha relutado de início. É quase um experimento social. Ele te força a desenvolver empatia e aceitar que você não é o centro do universo, e que ações ruins têm consequências ruins. Para todo mundo. Mas as pessoas são egoístas, eu incluso, então claro que muitos não iriam gostar. A meu ver, a Naughty Dog sabia disso, e mesmo assim se arriscou para passar a mensagem incrível que eles queriam passar com esse jogo. Para mim, a pior parte do jogo está sendo ver como algumas das pessoas que estão reagindo negativamente simplesmente não querem entender essa mensagem. Essa é a lição que eu tiro do jogo, no fim das contas: a humanidade é podre porque se recusa a entender que o outro é você e você é o outro, assim como todas as consequências dessa afirmação.
    Se o primeiro é 10, esse é 9 só por um motivo. Joel merecia ter tido mais tempo de tela (e de gameplay) e ter sido mais respeitado. Não tenho nada contra a forma como ele morreu nem com ele ter morrido no início do jogo, mas a cena da morte dele ainda é muito estranha de assistir. Realmente foi mal roteirizada, ele parece outro personagem. Ah, sem contar a propaganda enganosa da Naughty Dog, mas aí já não diz respeito ao jogo em si.     Narrative structure wasnt the best, however it had a very complex story. It may have not been the story fans wanted/expected but its a story true to the universe of TLOU. Apart from some pacing/structure issues, this is a game that will age better with time

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is absolutely stunning, and I was continually shocked at the levels of detail and nuance used throughout. I am happy to have avoided the leaks before the game came out - even though I caught wind of Joel's demise - because that left me able to make up my own mind with the game.

    I read and hear people saying that things didn't make sense with either how characters acted in a certain situation instead of being more suspicious. But what they're not taking into account is what often happens after a high stress situation - you relax. Even if just for a little bit. Joel, Tommy and Abby had gone through a high stress situation together. They worked as a team to survive. It makes sense that their guard was down. Disappointing, but it happened.

    As players in an RPG, we don't get that personal experience because we're taught to be on guard the whole time, and most importantly - by our self with no-one else to rely upon. So, naturally, our guard will stay up after a tense exchange with the WLF, The Seraphites or the Infected. No-one has our back, so it's in our best interests to stay on guard until the ominous music stops.

    It seems the critiques of this situation are purely taking an intellectual perspective, rather than taking into account the emotion side as well. It's always easy to "As if" from the sidelines...

    Next thing:

    Any complaints about LGBT inclusion in the game as being political, woke, or any other description is missing the point. This is commentary on both the past and present acceptance of this community. To be accepting of it isn't about being "woke", it's purely about acceptance of another human being. The reason it's being talked about nowadays is because it's no longer taboo, or putting someone's life at risk for that being their life. TLOU2 shows the cross of old thinking with current acceptance - The Scars vs. Abby. It also shows that some elements and struggles in a post-apocalyptic may not be that different from what we experience in our comfortable arm-chair lifestyle that we have today.

    Last thing:

    I hear complaints about not enough advancements in game-play mechanics. TLOU has always been about story first. In fact, Naughty Dog has been very consistent with this right from the beginning of the Uncharted series. Yeah, the gameplay mechanics were ok, but it was the STORY and characters that we connected with the most. ND pioneered mo-cap, and moved the industry as a result. When we talk about our favourite moments in TLOU1, it's not about this or that fight that we had. We talk about the moments that were cinematics - moments that we were the passenger as that moment of the story unfolded. Ummmm.... Same thing here! Yeah, there were improvements to gameplay mechanics - were they revolutionary? Mostly no. But that's not where their full efforts go. Everyone loved the first game even though there was wide acknowledgement that the gameplay mechanics weren't as good as othe games. This is called balance.

    Ok, ACTUAL last thing...

    I don't know how people were finishing the game in 25-28 hours! It took me just shy of 41 hours over 4 days to knock this game out. I got complete value for money out of it. Yes, I looked in every nook and cranny to get the most out of it. I soaked it all up. All the little details hiding in the different corners. This is a HUUUGE RPG, and so worth exploring all the little details that this team has worked tirelessly to be able to achieve.

    I absolutely loved this game. I'll play it again and again for sure. Perfectly legitimised itself as a sequel with beautifully executed ties to the first one to create drama and resolution.    … Expand

Man **** the negativity the only reason why people rate this game bad is 1) they are just hopping on the ban waggin of negativity. 2) not finished the game. 3) bots. 4) the leaks. PS the leaks mean nothing. 5) expecting the game to have the same storyline, same linear, same everything. Hey hate to break it to ya, no game can be exactly the same. Wanna bet that if we got the same linear story people wouldn’t like it. Tlou 2 is open, not just in exploration, but in themes, gay, trans and many other things violence, revenge those things. I’ve finished the game and let me tell you all you haters this game is art. Meaning 50% chance of people liking it and the other 50% not liking it.     Empezaré diciendo que esta secuela no es de 10, pero lo puntuaré como tal dado que el juego tampoco es de 3 como muchos lo están puntuando. Entiendo que haya mucha gente que no esté de acuerdo con muchas de las decisiones tomadas en lo largo del desarrollo del videojuego; está claro que hacer una secuela de una obra maestra como era el primero con un final cerrado y consolidado es muyEmpezaré diciendo que esta secuela no es de 10, pero lo puntuaré como tal dado que el juego tampoco es de 3 como muchos lo están puntuando. Entiendo que haya mucha gente que no esté de acuerdo con muchas de las decisiones tomadas en lo largo del desarrollo del videojuego; está claro que hacer una secuela de una obra maestra como era el primero con un final cerrado y consolidado es muy difícil dado que a no todo el mundo le va a gustar el ritmo u orientación de la secuela. En relación al "review bombing" que se le ha estado haciendo, lo veo algo innecesario, ¿por qué debería de considerarse que el videojuego posee una agenda política o es propagandista?, ¿por contener un personaje homosexual que ya se venía sabiendo desde 2013?, ¿por la aparición de un personaje que está en desacuerdo con las actividades que se le otorga debido a su género y, por lo tanto, decide raparse la cabeza? o, ¿porque se menciona que un personaje es judío y su linaje sobrevivió a la Segunda Guerra Mundial? Todas estas críticas mencionadas carecen de sentido dado que durante el transcurso del videojuego no se nota que estén introducidas con calzador, dado que no afecta en nada el desarrollo de la trama. Realmente esta tormenta de malas críticas es un hecho desafortunado que se suma a la larga lista de "errores" que ha cometido Naughty Dog durante el periodo de promoción del mismo; en esta lista podemos encontrar un par de retrasos (ya sea porque el juego necesitaba pulirse o por culpa del Covid-19), incesables críticas debidas a la práctica del "crunch" que ha supuesto la realización de este triple A e incluso la filtración masiva de la historia y/o gameplay que comprometiese, para muchos, el hecho de llegar a esta obra sin conocer ningún detalle de la misma.
    El desarrollo de la historia es algo "diferente" de lo que me esperaba; pero una vez finalizado el videojuego, comprendo la decisión de este tipo de "storytelling". Naughty Dog lleva mencionando durante mucho tiempo que en esta secuela se quieren centrar en lo que supone vivir en un mundo de estas características, el hecho de que ni el bueno es tan bueno, ni el malo es tan malo y el hecho de que todo lo que hacemos conlleva ciertas consecuencias para bien o para mal, por lo que finalmente si se puede llegar a comprender dicha decisión de contar la historia. Principalmente no me gustó este modo de contar la historia, pero finalmente sí que pude apreciarla, es cierto que no reinventa la narrativa ni innova en "storytelling", pero sí que sirve para conseguir el propósito de hacerte sentir que lo que matas no son simples pixeles, sino personas con vida y familia propia.
    En relación al desarrollo de personajes... No se profundiza tanto como en el primero, pero ni de broma. Si que cuenta con un desarrollo aceptable, donde entiendes y comprendes las motivaciones de cada uno de los personajes para actuar pero, de todas formas, al igual que ocurría con la historia, se podría haber replanteado de otras maneras más "órganicas".
    Si bien la historia y desarrollo de personajes no supone esa perfección de la cual ya es característica la primera entrega, donde realmente esta secuela realmente saca músculo es en su apartado técnico, repleto de escenarios magistrales y animaciones y expresiones faciales descabelladas, donde las personas que se encuentran en el universo de TLOU parecen realmente personas metidas dentro de la consola, lo que hace que se aleje esa idea preconcebida de matar simples píxeles inanimados.
    En cuanto al gameplay se refiere... Es cierto que no encontramos una gran innovación, pero sí que encontramos la suficiente como para distinguirla del primero. Se introducen tres nuevas mecánicas que consigue abrir un gran abanico en cuanto a resolución de situaciones se refiere. Estamos hablando del hecho de poder tirarse a tierra, poder esquivar y poder saltar. En cuanto al hecho de poder tirarnos al suelo, abre todo un mundo de posibilidades, tanto en sigilo como en exploración. En cuanto a poder esquivar, Ellie es muy ágil y esto se demuestra en esta acción, haciendo mucho más dinámica la opción del combate que en el primero. Y, por último, el hecho de poder saltar, gracias a esta nueva mecánica, se abre una nueva dimensión que el primero no poseía, la verticalidad, pudiendo afrontar de distintas maneras un mismo nivel. En cuanto al resto de gameplay, permanece similar al primero pero... si lo de antes funcionaba, ¿para qué cambiarlo?
    En definitiva, esta secuela no es la obra maestra que muchos anhelaban, pero tampoco ha supuesto el desastre catastrófico del que muchos hacen mención. Tiene sus cosas buenas y sus cosas malas, por lo que te puede gustar más o te puede gustar menos. Con el tiempo se hará justicia y se conseguirá mirar con ojos distintos a la historia y donde se consiga entender que el propósito de los desarrolladores ha sido alcanzado. Mi puntuación final sería de un 7'5.    … Expand

    I have finished the game and I can say, with confidence, that this game is a masterpiece. Yes it has a lot of moments in the story we would have liked not happening, but let's face it, the world of TLOU is cruel, is dark and it's realistic.

    Ellie makes weird decisions that can be seen as unnecessary or dramatics, but I honestly think, placing ourselves on her shoes, this girl has gone through hell and back. She has lost her friends and family and was born on this crazy world filled with monsters and people killing people to survive. She is hurt, she is traumatized and we can see this towards the end of the game.

    We don't deserve Ellie. She is strong, she is the embodiment of lost and suffering, and still she is a fun charismatic character in the story. She is seeking revenge, and it's valid, she was angry with Joel for something totally unnecessary, she lost him without being able to fix their issues. She feels committed to seek revenge because of this. It makes sense.

    Abby, her back story, it's so raw. Ellie takes away from her, basically everything doesn't she? Is her reason to kill Joel valid? YES! He did not only kill her Father, he took the chance of a cure away from humanity! Do we support Joel's decision on saving Ellie on the first game? We did, but just like Abby tells her Father, if it was her she would have liked him to sacrifice her to save humanity, and Ellie feels the same doesn't she?
    Abby is such a strong and interesting character, she has lost her father, the man she loves who got another girl pregnant and still she is there. She has a heart, she saves Lev and Yara and forgives Ellie's life, even after they almost kill each other and Ellie has taken everything away from her. I respect her 100%. I must say, I didn't want to like her, but I ended up really understanding her and her motives.

    The game itself it's to play, the story, its darkness, facing decision you must make (having to fight against Ellie had me tearing up) but this is the story this characters are living in. What's bad? The game can be exhausting. You feel like it's going to end and it keeps going. After playing with Ellie on the farm, you believe it's all over and the game just keep going.

    The gameplay, it's pretty much the same as the one on the first game, of course new abilities are added given character's size and strength. But overall you do feel familiarity and continuity with the first game.

    Overall, I loved this game, it's so worth playing, it's too long but you love it. I recommend it 100% and I am thankful with the amount of work Naughty Dog invested on this masterpiece.    … Expand

Graphics are amazing, you can see little writing on fuel stations, actually read notes on whiteboards or posters. Gameplay wise the game runs fine, no game breaking glitches, afew good scares and panic moments; amazing story where I felt having the game show both sides to the story really helped show why each character did what they did. Honestly dont understand the hate or why people are hating this game, to me this can easily be GoTY. And for those those that have finished the game and didnt like it just think back to Joel's song "if I were to ever lose you I'd surely lose myself" and look at how she lost herself… Expand

So in that aspect this game, although divisive, is already accomplishing what it sets out to do. Get an emotional response. From the time the game opens to the closing frame, I have to disagree with the others. I loved everything about this game. The combat was tight, tense, and frantic. The pacing of the story, the gorgeous visuals. I think a lot of what sparked the outrage is the very brutal and swift nature of his demise. Everyone is quick to ask how could they do that to Joel!? He did what he did to save Ellie!? Ok, but that doesn't mean he's a good man. All of the characters in our story have grown to do heinous things for the ones they loved after society fell.. Violence begets violence and we know that Joel did **** that we never see that is pretty heinous. I loved seeing the way the paths crossed between Ellie and Abbey and at the end of the day I'm excited to see where the story goes from here. Calm yourselves neckbeards of the world's.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The great thing about this game is the way it puts question marks over right and wrong. The way you develop a sense of empathy towards characters that you could label 'good' but they could also be called villains.

    Am I upset that I didn't get to see another story about Joel and Ellie? Yes.

    But instead I got reality. Joel killed dozens of people who were potentially innocent, particularly the doctors. Its no surprise that he made enemies. You could even say he is a bad person, or just blinded by his love for Ellie, or just doing what most parents would do. There's an argument here for all sides. Which is why the playthrough of Abbey's timeline is so good. It opens up a bigger world of violence and death, and raises bigger emotional questions than the first game. It makes you question it all.

    For me this game wasn't about Joel and Ellie. Nor Abbey and Ellie. Its about the bigger picture, the bigger questions that revolve around a world of hatred and violence.

    Is it better than the first game? No. But its definitley a memorable title.

Es un juego muy bueno, sus gráficos son muy buenos, la jugabilidad es muy cómoda, sinceramente durante avanzas en la historia te das cuenta de tantos puntos muy específicos y hablando como una estudiante de psicología y a poco de salir, el adentrarte en la vida de cada personaje es muy muy interesante y muy bien desarrolladas. Tal vez a muchas personas no les agrada la idea de compartir o jugar la parte de lo que te hacen creer un "villano", pero te das cuenta que en realidad no hay "villanos" son personas que al final sufren pérdidas muy fuertes y que te enseñan que de alguna manera el buscar venganza y lograrlo (cómo lo hace Abby) no te da paz de ninguna forma, es más te aleja de las personas que siguen ahí y que te aman y sobre todo que estarán ahí para apoyarte y no dejarte sola o solo. Esa perspectiva que te dan tanto con Ellie y con Abby es simplemente fantástica, al principio me enoje mucho cuando Abby mato a Joel, pero después cuando comienza el viaje de Ellie con Dina, me di cuenta que en verdad no hay muertes dignas, Joel murió como una persona podría morir dentro de un apocalipsis donde engaño, mato, robo a personas que probablemente solo querían sobrevivir, claro que el también lo hizo por sobrevivir pero esos actos no fueron los correctos y al final sabíamos que un día Joel tendría un final así dado al odio que muchos personajes dentro del juego le tenían al personaje. Una de las cosas muy interesantes dentro del juego es que ocupan mucho la psicología del color con respecto al estado mental tanto de Ellie, cómo de Dina, Abby, y otros personajes, lo cual es muy importante porque todo esto se refleja dentro de los paisajes y escenarios donde están los personajes.… Expand

This game will definitely not be everyone's cup of tea, story wise and gameplay wise, but I think that everyone can find something to genuinely enjoy while playing through this game. I believe that many of the negative reviews stem from the progressive motives of the game and the death of Joel early on in the game. Noa on to my my opinion. The gameplay is better than it was in The Last Of Us Part 1. The story has some problems for sure, but nothing overly egregious. The death of Joel could have played out better. And I wish they had focused more on Ellie than they did on Abby, instead of attempting to make us like a character that did horrible things to Joel… Expand

    First of all, it shows us that in a war, there is no right or wrong, no war is a justified war. All sides are cruel. All sides loses (not only their people, but their very own humanity). It talks about fascism, religion fanaticism, it talks about sexuality, includes different ethnicities (and particularly, as an asian myself, I was very pleased with fellow asian characters).

    But Naughty Dog must’ve felt that wasn’t enough: I have never, in my life, felt so many emotions while playing a game. And not only that, how the game managed to lead my emotions exactly how it wanted to, the way it wanted to. And not just one at a time. A big ball of mixed emotions all together and bursting. I felt love, sadness, anger, empathy, compassion, horror to human cruelty... all apart and together at the same time. And because we, as players just watching those experiences, feel like that, we can understand how big of a mess must be the characters emotions, because theoretically they are living it. And besides all that, the human relations this game has built are so well put together and truly feel genuine. There’s no such thing as black and white. Right ou wrong. Perfect hero or monstrous villain. I lost track how many times my emotions were so all over the place that I actually cried (and not that rolling-down-cute-tears kinda crying, it was the ugly-cry kinda crying). Or how many times I was literally with my mouth open.

    If it were possible to nominate a game to Oscar, I think The Last of Us Part II would deserve to be nominated. This go beyond the gaming world. This is truly a masterpiece. To be able to play it, it was an experience I’m sure I will cherish forever.    … Expand

    Holy freaking... wow! I just finished the game and what a rollercoaster of a journey. The graphics, the score, the story, the acting, the gameplay, the character development... everything is 10 out of 10 out of 10 out of 10. I think this one even just replaced the first game as my all-time favorite.

    Thank you to everyone at Naughty Dog for this!!! TLOU2 was truly Masterclass and    Holy freaking... wow! I just finished the game and what a rollercoaster of a journey.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is a game you have to play all the way through to really appreciate. Honestly about four or five times throughout the game I thought I was at the end and for the first few I thought, “ehhh decent story but not that great.” Then the story kept going. What it ended up being is a masterpiece, better than the original. This game forces you to play as Abby, the one who killed our beloved Joel. When it first switched to her I didn’t want to play with her. Was I wrong. She’s now my favorite character in the series. She has so much depth to her. The entire game uses this to show us there are two sides to every conflict and who is evil is merely due to where you’re standing. Abby overcomes her hate in some respects but can’t let go of it in others. It’s the most true example of human nature I’ve ever seen in a video game. The two games together could be studied over a semester in the same way we studied classic literature in high school and college. I can’t say enough good about this game. Don’t listen to the people who hate it. This is truly and honestly the best game I’ve ever played. I loved it so much in fact I created an account just to review it (never reviewed a game before).… Expand

    This is a really well crafted game But the story Ending is complete stupid.
    Story starts quite amazing but the ending sucks.
    The Graphics are Unbelievably good.
    Game play is same as old.
    overall its a good game and must play.
    don't believe the rating many of the xbox fan boys have spam it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I personally enjoy it, The visuals were breathtaking as well as Soundtrack. The gameplay had very welcomed improvements sure as being a to go prone and jumping as well not have make shives every two seconds. The story took you on an emotional ride. I was little off took when you played as Abby for the second half of the game. Tho it help flushed out her motivations for killing Joel at the beginning of game and gave her good character arc. At the end of the game I liked both Ellie, and Abby and didn’t want either one to die. I look forward to seeing if they make a part 3… Expand

    Everyone who gave a 0 is a Hater, and they just didn't understand the first Game. She was in Girls the whole time, so what?
    Are we back in 19th century?
    And the other Point, how did you think the storyline should continue with him?

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
