    Esse pra mim é o melhor jogo já feito.

    O que eu sentir jogando cada capítulo é indescritível, nenhuma outra mídia me proporcionou toda a carga emocional que eu passei. Eu imergir nesse universo desde o primeiro título em 2013. Criei uma ligação com os personagens, sobrevivir junto com eles até ao final daquela jornada, mas ela não acabaria ali, e com a sequência eu sofri e sentir tudo o    Esse pra mim é o melhor jogo já feito.

    O que eu sentir jogando cada capítulo é indescritível, nenhuma outra mídia me proporcionou toda a carga emocional que eu passei.

    Eu imergir nesse universo desde o primeiro título em 2013. Criei uma ligação com os personagens, sobrevivir junto com eles até ao final daquela jornada, mas ela não acabaria ali, e com a sequência eu sofri e sentir tudo o que eles passavam, tudo é intenso e brutal, e o final é de tirar o chão, é uma história que faz a gente se questionar e pensar. Eu fiquei despedaçado, com um vazio após o jogo.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Com certeza aprecio o cuidado e a maneira que a Naughty Dogs cuida da suas franquias. The last of us part 2 é simplesmente incrível tanto quanto tão profundo pode te mostrar que a vida é feita de escolhas e cabe a voce decidir que tipo de pessoa voce quer escolher ser ou como que nem toda aparência pode ser julgada. Ellie e Abby foi esse caso de alto e baixos de voce querer odiar e amar as protagonistas. Tantas partes marcantes e em uma colocação tao bem colocada de cada uma das personagens me fez ser um dos meus games favoritos. Minha critica fica somente pelo fato de o mais Ícone personagens dos Videogames morrer de forma tão sem ênfase digamos “ infantil “ Joel tem um peso muito grande pelo oque fez ao longo da trama, personagem que em um mundo pos apocalíptico é temido por ser malicioso, inteligente e malandro e em The last of us 2 arrancaram simplesmente sumiram com a personalidade dele e isso me deixou puto ao deixar minha nota em um 9.
    Final de Ellie e Abby nao poderia ser melhor a ND acertou o ponto mais uma vez. Obrigado por isso Naughty Dogs ❤️

    The game is wonderful, it is so sad that it has a low score in this category due to intolerant people, groups of people who have not played the game got together to give a minimum rating to the game for the simple fact that the story takes a different direction than they did expected.

    The game is capable of evoking vivid emotions. It is made at a high technical level. The plot may not be liked by many, but this does not make it bad.
    In any case, if you try to play it, you will not remain indifferent.

It is a game about trauma and loss and amongst all of these heavy themes the game manages to find moments of light and levity that balances out a lot of the dark subject matters the game deals with. I thought the game was great, beautiful graphics, game-play and fun game to play overall, Story was oK hoping for some more. i really enjoyed it it had some sad parts which really upset me but got through it and game got very intense at times was not expecting certain outcomes.     Absolutely incredible. Nothing negative about the game is true. People are just mad because they think THAT SCENE isn’t realistic. Well it is and it’s an incredible game. The ending broke me.

    I know a lot of people have problems with this game but for me and a lot of other people this game was amazing, story and all. I loved Abby and all the new characters except for Owen he felt weird. Joel's death was brutal and done really early and of course his death could have been done in a better way but for me it was realistic and made me want to kill Abby. And after seeing Abby's story it made me feel bad for her and i ended up loving her character and Laura Bailey really helped. Now I love Joel's character but i hope people realize he was a piece of **** and everything he did in the first game was selfish because he wanted a his daughter back and kill dozens of people who were trying to find the cure just because he couldn't let Ellie go. Now like Tommy said i cant say i would have done any different but that doesnt make Joel a saint and i think that Abby had a very good reason to do what she did and knowing that i wasnt as mad about how Joel died once i beat the game and reflecting on it, it was a very **** good game. The only reason its not a 10/10 for me is because of some bugs that are noticeable but not super game breaking for me at least and some of the writing was a little weird like when Abby said "You are my family" to Lev, I thought that was a little off and also the Abby sex scene felt out of nowhere and a little unnecessary and was just there to add drama. But everything else was heartbreaking and emotional in the best way possible and Im looking forward to a third one.    … Expand

I think those who hate the story did not fully understand it. Yes, Joel's death sucks, was brutal and unforgivable. But this is the world of TLOU, that's how the creators wanted it. I have been loving this game for seven years, I dont regret buying it and spending my time on it. I loved it, every single part of it.… Expand

    This was a tough game in many ways, and really challenged your perception of certain characters. The ending did fall a *little* flat for me, and about 10 hours in the game seemed pretty repetitive and a bit of a slog, but once you reach the midway point (you'll know it when you reach it), it becomes a whole different beast, and improves immeasurably.

    This game Absolutely kicks so much a**!!! not sure where all the hate is coming from unless you wanted part 2 to play it safe and just do another Joel/Elle cross the US again fighting infected. If you like the anti-hero. Shows like breaking bad, sopranos, Ozark. This is the video game version of those shows. Dayuuuuumn!! So good

    This is the best you could enjoy nowadays. A lot of attention to graphical and story part. This game is not the sequel, but the next 25 hours of the same game.
    I have remarks to the plot, but who is me to criticize the author’s idea. Of corse I wanted another final, sometimes I couldn’t believe in plot twits.     Shatters the glass ceiling of video game storytelling. It's risky, shocking and devastating. Not to mention the top-of-the-line, incredibly dynamic gameplay and fantastic graphics, especially for the end of a generation.

    I played videogames from my childhood and have seen its maturing as an art. From simple fps with storyline in txt file up to this game where it is main thing. Its just so contradictory and fill with risky tricks... Well its no wonder why game have this kind of reaction in the internet.     Will be thinking about this game for a long time. I think the way people experience this game is very personal. I personally think the story is good, Naughty dog set out to make a game in which you will have to do things you don't want to do. That might sound like a negative thing, but those moments, when you pause or even quit the game for a moment and think about what's happening, are exactly what Naughty dog want from you. The story constantly makes you feel contradictory, and i love it for it.
    Besides this, the gameplay was similar to that of the first game but more streamlined, more realistic and with more options for how you want to approach combat and non-combat situations. It took the good parts of the gameplay of the first game and improved on it.
    The game looks stunning, i was impressed that all of this was possible on a PlayStation 4.
    Then there is the acting and the music. I'm putting both of these together because it without it the story would have fallen flat and both were able to deliver the extra layer of emotion that was necessary for me to give this game a 10.
    Overall i'd say, if you liked the last of us (part 1?), and liked how in that game you were made to think about morality because of how you were forced to do something you might not have done yourself and liked how Naughty dog is able to make you feel all kinds of things, I think you will like this game just as much as the first one.    … Expand

A masterpiece, because the way the thread of the story is felt is indescribable. Chic, because every sigh, intonation and phrase is beautiful. But not only because it is beautiful, interesting and cool voiced. New gameplay mechanics-fire. Shooting,In short , this game is a masterpiece. Not only that, but also a great attention to detail: snow falls from the trees, the blanket moves when you breathe, the whole world reacts to the player and lives with the player. The fact that the opponents got names and identity - wow! Still, the game really makes you relive the story of Ellie. Sempre criamos carinho e empatia pelo personagem que jogamos. Foi assim no primeiro game com Ellie e Joel e nessa sequência novamente, só que desta vez a Naughty Dog nos mostra o outro lado com a personagem Abby e nos perguntamos quem são os heróis dessa história, ou será que existem heróis. A história te prende do começo ao fim, são muitos momentos marcantes. Logo no como temos uma cena impactante, triste, mas depois entendemos o verdadeiro motivo dos fatos, um outro lado, uma nova visão dessa história. Com toda aquela sabedoria que só a Naughty Dog tem. A história foi muito bem moldada, momentos de gameplay intenso, outrora com uma calmaria, mas isso não é ruim, muito pelo contrário, são momentos bacanas com os persongens tem, é como se eles lembrassem de momentos importantes que passaram e ficaram em suas memórias e com certeza ficará nas nossas lembranças também. Por falar nisso, o game volta e avança no tempo e jogamos em épocas diferentes cada trecho do game, mas não se preocupe, isso é feito de uma forma bem fácil de se entender. O gameplay continua maravilhoso, na verdade é a mesma fórmula de sempre, com umas pitadas a mais, pra que mexer no que já é bom? Coletamos peças pra dar upgrades nas armas e isso é feito em uma bancada de forma bem realista, é bem bacana de se ver e o número de armas está de bom tamanho para um jogo desse estilo. Temos algumas habilidades iniciais que podem ser destavadas com os "comprimidos" que achamos no game e pra destavar novas categorias de habilidades temos que achar algumas revistar especiais que achamos espalhadas nos cenários, explorar é essencial. Isso tanto pra Ellie como para a Abby. Além disso as duas também tem colecionáveis, a Ellie junta uma especial de cartas de super-heróis, enquanto a Abby coleta moedas antigas que ela coleciona, tudo espalhado em lugares bem escondidos pela galera da Naughty Dog.
    Os cenários são maravilhosos, tudo é muito lindo aos olhos, tudo foi cuidadosamente feito e com certeza The Last of Us Part 2 tem um dos gráficos mais perfeitos dessa geração. Assim como em Uncharted 4, a sequência de Ellie e Joel passui momentos de mundo semi-aberto, passando por sua maioria por momentos lineares, o que pra mim não é nenhum problema, pois prefiro jogos assim.
    Quanto aos inimigos temos uma boa variação, mantendo alguns do primeiro game e trazendo novos, como o tropego, um infectado que anda mancando e que epeli gases tóxicos, um infectado bizarro com várias partes de outros infectados são alguns exemplos.
    Do lado dos humanos temos seus fiéis amigos, os cães, que rastreiam Ellie por onde que ela vai. Os inimigos estão mais espertos e chamam pelos seus campanheiros e se lanentam quando um deles é morto pela Ellie. Aqui uma crítica, a Naughty Dog economizou nos modelos dos inimigos então se prepare para matar muitos "gêmeos" no jogo. No geral a inteligência artificial dos inimigos é boa e não desagrada.
    O game conta com uma longa campanha, onde explorando o game você passa de mais de 35 horas de duração e garanto que você vai querer jogá-lo novamente.
    Se você tiver mente aberta e querer ver tudo o que a Naughty Dog tem a contar com esse game, vai fundo, muitos criticaram um ocorrido triste do jogo, mas como disse no início a Naughty Dog mostrou os dois lados da moda. Quem são os heróis, ou vilões em The Last of Us Part 2? Um jogo pra ficar na história! Nota 10.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If you expect uncharted 4 with zombies you may as well not buy it. Don’t get me wrong, I love Uncharted! But this game is an emotional roller-coaster containing everything:
    - violent endings
    - empathy and moral dilemma - gore and terror
    - revenge and pain
    - teardrops and anger
    - love

    It’s basically entertainment for grownups, not children. It’s a story that makes you feel and it seems that some people can’t handle that. Spoilers below:

    You’ll probably be as shocked as I was when Negan killed my favorite characters in The Walking Dead when Joel dies. You will feel betrayed and hurt. I believe some people gave the game a bad review solely because of that twist in the game. Same thing happened to the walking dead tv series. A lot of people quit the show because of that. Except real fans.

    Don’t worry though. Joel will be present throughout the game. Abby is another great character you get to know and love. The dynamics of this love/hate relationship between you and the characters as well as between the characters themselves is emotional and well done. There’s seldom a game that has put me through so many different feelings and emotions. Abby is an intriguing character. I love how the game portraits her. She’s not conventional at all and after reading some other reviews of the game I can’t help but comment on this: 1) the game couldn’t care less about explaining her gender identity because it wasn’t needed to be explained. If you think she’s a trans or gay or whatever, that says more about you than the character. 2) Ellie was always a gay character and that’s not a spoiler, have you even played the previous game?

    The ending is open. It’s room for more storytelling. Ellie’s journey has not ended. Neither has Abby’s.

Those fears were put to rest when I continued playing. The gameplay is top notch, the survival horror aspects have you on the edge of your seat. I loved the story because it wasn’t what I expected and every character had layers, instead of a linear personality. Having Joel die so soon was a shock, and I was angry at first, but I understood that’s the point! This event is what drives the entire story of the game and it’s supposed to make you feel upset. The aim of this game isn’t to make the player feel comfortable and to reminisce about the Joel and Ellie duo we all loved in the first game, it’s meant to make you feel unsafe and scared about what could be next. For a game to evoke these kind of emotions in the player just shows that it is more than just a game. They want you to experience it as the characters would, and let’s not forget the incredible graphics in this game! They worked so hard on every single little detail like the way Ellie’s backpack moves when she walks, the way thin ice breaks, the hand movements when Ellie plays the guitar, and my favourite, how the cables/ropes in the game move/are coiled. One thing I particularly loved, was how the cut scenes and game play seamlessly transition into one another, something the first game didn't have.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. TLDR: Don't understand the negative reviews, game was stellar in graphics and design alone (at least a 7/10) - story was complex and emotional (10/10) for me. If you wanted the same story from TLOU1, play TLOU1!

    I have been a Naughty Dog fan for a long time - fell in love with them with the Uncharted series. I have been gaming since the PS2, but really don't enjoy online games like Fortnite or Call of Duty Online - really enjoy single player games with lots of storytelling (Naughty Dog's specialty).

    I have played (and loved) the The Last of Us - and waited patiently a long time for this game to come out, even making sure that I borrowed a friends PS4 Pro to see the game in 4K with HDR. I did not watch any leaks or look for any spoilers before playing - I wanted to get the full experience the first time.

    Gameplay (10/10): Very similar to TLOU1 with the addition of jumping. Basic premises are the same - you're trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. Crafting, skill upgrades, and weapon upgrades are similar to TLOU1 - except for skills you have to find guidebooks hidden around the environment to unlock new "channels" to upgrade on each character, which are upgraded with pills you find in the environment. Weapons are upgraded with parts you find around in the environment - and completed at weapons benches you must find as well. The weapons upgrades had some of the coolest animations I've seen in a game. Just like TLOU1 - weapons and some resources are scarce. If you expect to go in guns blazing into every enemy encounter, you will likely find that you die often and don't carry much resources around. To me this makes sense as you're in a post-apocalyptic, scavenged world.

    Enemy AI was impressive to me. Addition of dogs added an extra challenge, but enemies were very responsive to changes in the environment - which caused them to change their searching patterns and even go so far as to look under cars and in hiding places. Pretty normal 3PS gameplay otherwise.

    Graphics and Animation (10/10): Some of the most amazing graphics I've ever seen in a video game - Uncharted 4 and RDR2 are the only games I can think of that comes close. After I beat the game I bought the art book - and just ordered a limited edition print of concept art from the game for decorating my room. Every scene seemed incredibly realistic - and the lighting and animation were stellar. Some of the vistas and lighting effects left me with tears in my eyes and jaw on the floor. Motion capture was great as always, as well as some incredible voice acting.

    Story (10/10): A lot of the negative reviews I've read seem to focus on Joel's death and playing as Abby. To me, Naughty Dog has always pushed the boundaries of storytelling. And as someone who has studied a bit of film in college, people who push the boundaries will often receive initial blowback and negativity, but turn out to be lauded later on. I think the same is true here. Naughty Dog took a risk and defied a normal story telling and plot structure - and to be fair, warned us that 2 would not be the same as 1. And it wasn't - 1 had a great father-daughter dynamic that was destroyed in 2. Although if you go back and play 1, in the epilogue you can see that dynamic change when Joel lied to Ellie.

    When Joel was killed - we all felt the hurt and shock - I've seen some describe it as a punch in the gut. That's what it was intended to do. You were supposed to hate Abby at the beginning - it was supposed to make you rethink everything from 1 and what you'd seen so far in 2. For me, the shock of Joel dying made my sad and upset - and thirsty for revenge. But as we played as Abby and saw her backstory, we came to see her motivations for revenge - and knew where that was getting her. Friends and family dead - nobody left to care. I thought that the flashbacks were well placed and made sense - and also provided some time to play with Joel and Ellie again. The astronaut scene in the museum brought tears to my eyes - and reminded me of what Abby took away.

    The "ending" with Abby was anticlimactic for some - but so many things in life are that way. Not everything ends with closure or understanding- but to me if you paid attention and listened to what the story was saying, you saw that Ellie realized that killing Abby would get her nowhere. She would be (and ended up) alone, sad, disconnected - killing Abby would not bring back Joel. The final scene brought me back to the beginning, and showed me how unfair Abby's actions were - how Ellie was going to try and reconcile with Joel before she took that all away. I cried like a baby.

    Good storytelling makes us feel emotions - all sorts of emotions. Stories aren't designed to always be happiness and rainbows. Sometimes they show us the cold hard truth, This story made me hurt, it made me angry, it made me think. That's what true story telling does - makes us think and feel - and this game did it like no other I've seen before.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have now finally finished the game after 33 hours, and I feel ready to give my review. With every game I play, I always look for certain key points: Story, Dialogue, Characters, Details, Gameplay, Graphics, Music/Audio, Meaning/Emotion and Afterthought. For me, The Last of Us Part 2 is revolutionary is every single key point, and I don't need to write a novel about how beautiful the game is, how awesome the gameplay is or how extreamly detailed it is. No one thinks otherwise, no matter how much someone dislikes the story. The main theme of the story is "the different sides to a conflict". And it's kind of poetic, that this is exactly what is happening to the games fan base right now. To understand the message Naughty and Co. Is trying to give, there is a point to consider from the first game: The final scene with Ellie and Joel, we hear Ellie talk about her time after her and Riley getting bit. Ellie talks about her waiting to die, and we get a feeling the reason she's been this happy and positive kid throughout the entire game, was because she felt her time was overdue.
    And by giving her immunity to the Fireflies, her (and Rileys) death would mean something. Her life would have meant something. And Joel took this away from her. So when the thing with Joel happened in Part 2, her old feelings of needing her life to matter, returned. Including the feeling of impending doom/knowing you will die soon. She already had a sort of PTSD long before Part 2. When she finally reach Abby, and actually are mere seconds away from getting what she wants, and what she thinks will put the visions of Joel's bloody and lifeless body to rest, she still sees Joel. The PTSD visions doesn't go away by doing this. And when Abby is dead, then what? Will the act of killing her be the one thing that makes Ellie's life have meaning? Does she have to replace Abby with someone new, for Ellie's life to have meaning?

    The final scene is Ellie leaving Joel's Guitar, and leaving the farm. She has finally let him go. Let him rest, and now will try to find a new meaning with her life. Maybe Dina? Little Potato? Back to Jackson? We may never know, but that's the beauty of it all. Another thing worth mentioning: Neither Abby or Ellie know why any of them is after each other. Ellie doesn't know Joel killed Abby's dad, and Abby doesn't know Ellie was the immune girl. What would have happened if they had just talked about it? Sometimes the refusal to listen to each other's motivation in a conflict, can destroy entire communities and families, and if we just listen to each other, we may actually find peace for once.    … Expand

    The Last of Us 2 is probably one of, if not THE BEST GAME I've EVER played in my entire life (and I'm in my mid 30's).

    --Gameplay--
    TLOU 2 takes everything good about the first game and combines it with everything that makes the Uncharted series of games so fun to play with heightened mobility and more streamlined controls.

    There are more weapons with more customization options and more ways to get through combat in such a satisfying way. Snipe from a distance, shotgun blast up close, use smoke bombs and trip mines (my favorite) to really level the playing field against tough and satisfying opponents.

    Everything that sucked (yes.. sucked) about TLOU 1 was removed from this game (using palettes to get Ellie across water, etc) and what's left is one of the most satisfying control and combat systems in a game I've ever played.

    --Story--
    Here's where people REALLY go off the deep end in their hate for this game, which is both moronic and just overall deeply deeply sad.

    Joel is NOT a hero, nor is he supposed to be the pinnacle of admiration. So many people are SO mad about Joel dying, and THAT'S THE POINT. You as the player are supposed to feel enraged at the brutal murder of Joel so that you play as Ellie with a burning, passionate hatred and unstoppable will to get to Abby.

    When you get to that point, you feel triumphant in your quest. But then the game takes a MASTERFUL turn and flips the script. Some might say this is a trope, but mostly people are just angry and upset (and stupid) about being forced to view, feel, and understand the motivation behind the opposition.

    Playing as Abby feels frustrating at first, but there's a glimmer of curiosity as we are plunged into her world and we hope to uncover some deeper understanding as to why Joel was murdered. It's something that is going through Ellie's mind the entire time we are hunting down Abby, and now Naughty Dog is finally giving us a taste of what those motivations are.

    During the time we're playing as Abby, we see an entirely different and new side to the events that are unfolding in Seattle. We are introduced to a very human set of characters that were dehumanized in the eyes of Ellie because of their actions. We are given a rare opportunity to understand our enemy. By the end of Abby's Seattle adventure, we are (if you're not a totally brainless and heartless moron) actually ON HER SIDE!

    Joel selfishly(!) murdered Abby's father, a man who wanted to bring a vaccine to the entire world and was ok with paying a very heavy price for that "victory." Maybe he deserved to die because he devalued the life of one person (Ellie) in favor of others, but these decisions aren't supposed to be easy. None of the decisions in this world/story are easy. Abby is fully justified in her pursuit of murdering Joel to get revenge, and we are exposed to her fragility and sensitivity (and aggression) throughout her half of the game. She could have sailed into the sunset with Owen but instead went back to save the life of the Seraphite children who saved HER life. The story is layered and nuanced in a way no video game narrative has ever felt (to me) in all my years of gaming.

    The Last of Us 2 forces you to see beyond your own selfish, hatred, misguided motivation and understand the opposing views. Most people are upset with that (I think) because most people are just as selfish and fueled by anger and hatred as Joel and Ellie (and Abby).

    At the end of the Seattle chapter of the game, Abby winds up sparing Ellie, leaving her to live with her haunted nightmares of Joel's murder and the fact that her life is "meaningless" because she didn't die when she was supposed to so she could save humanity. When Ellie decides she can't go on without her revenge, she selfishly leaves Dina and the perfect life they've cultivated for themselves so she can pursue her distorted view of justice.

    At the end of the Santa Barbara chapter, Ellie winds up saving Abby's life so they can finally battle to the death. Right before Ellie gets her ultimate revenge, another image of Joel flashes in her head. This time, not one of him dying or as a bloody mess, but an encounter where she promised an attempt at forgiveness. Would killing Abby justify that? Ultimately, no. So she stops. The cycle of killing has to end, and she realizes she has to give up her selfish hatred in order to do what's "right."

    The naysayers who are calling for Abby's death are completely MISSING THE POINT that Naughty Dog's excellent writers are trying to convey. Instead, Ellie returns home to an empty farm and (presumably) decides to go out and fulfill her promise to Joel of forgiveness.

    Bravo to Naughty Dog and the entire voice acting team for such a wonderful story.

    I can understand why people would be upset by some things that happen in the game but it doesn’t change the fact that it is incredible writing and characters. You feel every emotion imaginable from rage to joy to sadness while playing this game. Better than most of my favorite movies. A masterpiece by every metric I can think to rate a game.

Wenn man das Spiel unvoreingenommen spielt und die Charaktere auf sich wirken lässt, dann kommt man nach cirka 3/4 der Geschichte dahin, dass man Abby nicht nur versteht, sondern sie mag. Sie hilft den beiden jungen, flüchtenden Scars, distanziert sich von den Wolfs, lässt Ellie, obwohl sie 2 mal die Gelegenheit hat sie zu töten am Leben ... und ist einfach der nettere Charakter als die von Rachedurst zerfressene, mörderische Ellie. Ich habe mich gefreut, dass Abby am Ende mit Lev in ein neues Leben mit den Fireflies fahren konnte. Mich hat die ganze Geschichte gefesselt, mitgenommen und ... ständig zum Nachdenken über die irre Gewalt zwischen diesen ganzen zersprengten Menschengruppen gebracht, die in dieser beschissenen, apokalyptischen Welt nichts besseres zu tun haben als sich gegenseitig umzubringen. Тем не менее все минусы что я увидел не перекрывают того факта что игра очень красивая, интересная, трогательная и местами пугающая...Как игра абстрагируясь от первой ее части это 10 из 10, как продолжение 1 части это немного другой проект от которого многие ждали немного другого...Я крайне рекомендую пройти именно до конца, концовка игры может сгладить те шороховатости возникшие в ее середине.… Expand

    Absolute masterpiece, enjoyed the game thoroughly. Only reason i didn’t give it a 10 was the pacing in the last couple of hours, wish it ended at the farm. Everything from the smooth gameplay and stunning graphics was perfect.

I liked the direction with the story - what would be the point in making a second if everything and everyone stays the same? I feel the game really made a point of showing that all of the characters did good and bad things, andI enjoyed this game. I preferred the first one, but I don't think the second deserves all the hate it's been getting, and I definitely think it is worth a play. I liked the direction with the story - what would be the point in making a second if everything and everyone stays the same? I feel the game really made a point of showing that all of the characters did good and bad things, and no-one is completely likeable by everyone.

    My main criticism of the game would be that I found the hand to hand combat a little clunky and there was a bit if a glitch with journal entries not registering. The guitar parts were cool but a little repetitive by the end. Apart from this I think it was a really good game. I would play a third if it came out.     If they haven’t beaten the first game, they’ve definitely matched it. The story, gameplay, acting and character development are outstanding. The team have worked hard and the whole game was an enormous rollercoaster of an emotional experience. Bravo Naughty Dog.

    Game of the year. It's a sad story, but felt real in the break-down world....

    but still painful in the end of the game.... 2020 took so many from us....

    It' ms by far the best looking game ever made and the story is amazingly compelling. I played 10 hours straight daily for three days cause I couldn't put the controller down. The story is beautiful and incredibly sad. It has it big happy moments ofcourse where u wanna cry happy tears but most of the time they are sad tears. Perfect game.

    Sin duda el mejor juego de ND increíble historia, increíble IA de enemigos, gráficos, etc. Algunas partes del juego duelen por la muerte de los protagonistas pero en lo general, vaya mounstruo de juegazo

    Definitely deserves 10/10 it took me 3 days to finish the game and i really enjoyed every second of it and i just wish i can forget everything about it just so i can play all over again.. and i've never felt so connected to a game like this, this was truly the greatest experience ever and this game is a masterpiece.

    The game is very immersive, for many people it can contain difficult subjects to understand, however if you are open-minded and without social prejudice, it undoubtedly gets a lot out of it and leaves you with that lump in your throat that is already typical in Nughty Dog. It is a masterpiece.

It's a challenging and layered narrative that shines a strong light on the importance of perspective and empathy. Once playing through the game and finishing the story, it's apparent why you were shown both perspectives first-hand. Many of the criticisms leveled at the game and the "lack of revenge" against the so-called antagonist are very surface-level and blind to the deeper levels of story and motivations at play.

    I am giving 9 out of 10 just because I don't like abby but I like the overall game and why the developer had made us play as Abby for 10 hours ?! They marketed as a game with only one playable character that's ellie why did they changed it ?!?!! It's stupid but still the game is a masterpiece !

    This video game is a masterpiece. I can’t imagine I could love the antagonist of the game so much. Fantastic storytelling. I just want to thank Sony interactive entertainment, Naughty Dog, Neil Druckmann, and all the people who has a part in creating this masterpiece. I just want to thank Every Last One Of Them.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
