May 1, 2022This is an amazing game! You can do almost anything you want from being a good-doer to a thief. Every time you die you can better yourself for future, more powerful enemies. The only thing I have against the game is the house building mechanic, but that is not what the game is about. What are you waiting for, buy it!

Oct 22, 20204 hours in and the world of Skyrim is alive and immersive in VR. This has renewed my interest in my PSVR. This is how Skyrim was meant to be played.

Feb 12, 2020Great game overall, the only reason its not a 10 is because the tracking is really bad, other than that, its the same as regular Skyrim, just in VR and kinda glitchy.

Dec 8, 2019Well, this is THE open world game that defined everything on how it should be done. I still enjoy it so much after years of playing it. This is just a masterpiece.

Dec 6, 2019The best way of playing Skyrim imo. Graphics aren't fantastic but the world really comes alive. And it's Skyrim so it's good. I'm not a fan of the motion controls but I play with the DS4 so the options are there.

Jul 1, 2019So this game was released way back into 2017 and they fail to acknowledge or fix all the game breaking bugs you experience and mid-end game like the known "Black sky bug" even after countless people had reported it. This is very shameful business practices

May 16, 2019Totally blown away with this version of Skyrim. I did upgrade to a PS4 pro for this game as I was not happy with the visuals on the standard PS4. It is very nice on the pro a lot sharper which allows me to play for a lot longer 6 plus hour sessions. I don't find this game causes any motion sickness.

Dec 31, 2018Outstanding. Vr adds such an amazing element to Skyrim. It feels like you're really transported to a magical world.

Dec 20, 2018Any review that complained about controls is wrong, you can play exactly the same way as regular skyrim with a controller. As others mentioned, you feel like you are really in Skyrim. While graphics are downgraded, I believe the added level of immersion is a solid tradeoff. I have now seen and done things in Skyrim VR that I never did during my 300 hour playthrough with the flat version.

Oct 1, 2018I've been playing videogames for almost 30 years. Skyrim on PSVR is the best gaming experience I have ever had. So immersive, so engrossing, so amazing to be inside the world. I play for hours (sitting), using Moves, and love every second of it. I marvel at it repeatedly, and literally say "wow" while playing.

Jul 3, 2018This and RE7 are the only 2 games in PSVR that are full length games with depth.
I've played Skyrim before but trust me, NOTHING compares to actually being inside the game.
Thanks to VR you are not only playing skyrim, you ARE INSIDE SKYRIM.
Ignore the reviews about the blurry graphics. BETHESDA PATCHED THE GAME on JUNE 25th.
It's one of the BEST looking VR games now. -

Jun 4, 2018It's a game that lets you literally step into the world of Skyrim. I can't imagine a better selling point. While the Moves offer more immersion, playing with the DS4 gives you the controls you're used to while also allowing the PSVR to place you in the world. Astounding.

Dec 27, 2018While it's not the best VR game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR is the most massive RPG on PSVR, and it's just as addictive as it's always been. Regardless of whether you play the main quests, chase down all of the side content, go hunting, go dungeoneering, be a smith and forge your own weapons, or go wherever you want to go, Skyrim works well enough, and that should be good enough for most players.

CD-ActionFeb 8, 2018VR really lets you experience Skyrim on a whole different level of immersion. Even despite PS VR’s low resolution it’s really easy to forget about the real world. The problem for me was that although I’m usually resistant to VR-induced nausea, after ca. 40-60 minutes with Skyrim VR I was starting to feel sick. [01/2018, p.50]

Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 6, 2018It's not perfect but there's no other PS VR game with this level of depth and detail. Even if you think you've seen it all before, you've definitely never see it like this. [Jan 2018, p.96]
