    Skyrim is a pretty fun game for it's time, being a 2011 game, there's a lot to do here. It was one of the first games I played on Playstation, played for 211 hours in total. In classic elder scrolls fashion, there's a lot of lore surrounding the game which is really cool if you're a lore-junkie like I am. All of the major questlines in the game have a good plot, the dragonborn DLC takesSkyrim is a pretty fun game for it's time, being a 2011 game, there's a lot to do here. It was one of the first games I played on Playstation, played for 211 hours in total. In classic elder scrolls fashion, there's a lot of lore surrounding the game which is really cool if you're a lore-junkie like I am. All of the major questlines in the game have a good plot, the dragonborn DLC takes this to another level.

    The combat is okay, the main appeal I believe is the amount of ways to approach combat in the game, you can spam shouts on people until they die, or optimize your stats as a stealth build and snipe enemies to death, but I combat is not the main appeal of this game anyways.

    The worst part of this game really is any quest that isn't a main questlines, side quests, or repetitive quests can be really boring and tedious. If you love to be a completionist and get every achievement, you will have to slow grind a bunch of boring quests to do so. I attempted to 100% this game because I loved it so much but the conditions to 100% it feature A LOT of boring quests. Specifically the "return the thieves guild to it's former glory" achievement, that particularly achievement has a bunch of repetitive and boring quests in it. That alone made me drop the idea of 100%ing this game.
    However, this game was the closest to 100% I ever got with any game I've played so far with an 84% achievement completion in the base game.

    Before diving into my review, I wanted to say that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was my favorite game for a long time; almost thousands of hours were spent in this game back then, but since I played it on my PS4 now, I wanted to review this version.
    The plot isn't anything special but the rich lore really makes up for a decent story overall.
    The gameplay is still good! The combat system    Before diving into my review, I wanted to say that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was my favorite game for a long time; almost thousands of hours were spent in this game back then, but since I played it on my PS4 now, I wanted to review this version.
    The plot isn't anything special but the rich lore really makes up for a decent story overall.
    The gameplay is still good! The combat system hasn't aged well but the game is very addictive even to this day thanks to its depth, variety and unparalleled open world design.
    The RPG elements are awesome, the world is very big, there are so many side-quests to do and there is so much hidden lore.
    The graphics don't look as nice as they did back then but the world is still quite gorgeous.
    The expansions (Dawnguard & Dragonborn) are great; they add 2 of the best quest-lines in the game + some very cool additions into the game.
    Also, if there is one thing in this game that will never age, it's the music; Skyrim's music is a masterpiece!
    Unfortunately though, a part of the game that aged like milk is the dungeon design; many dungeons are similar to each other and they get repetitive after a while.
    Lastly, a personal issue I have with this version of the game is that after playing the original version for years, I felt like I was just doing a new playthrough. My experience with this version was not as exciting as it was with the original version back then.
    The game is still very addictive though and that makes up for most of it's flaws.

    + Godlike soundtrack

    Esse é um dos jogos da minha vida, sempre amei Rpg Ent Skyrim não é exceção, os MODs no Ps4 ainda não estão no nível do PC mas já é uma coisa maravilha pra mim!

    The game itself is very open world and it’s hard to finish every single mission there is, especially after the updates. The world building is beautiful and the different environments is breathtaking. Considering it is an older game that only gets updated now, the character creation is a little outdated and iffy but still much better than most character customization games in its time. It also has hacks in the game that you can preform even offline that are useful. I never get bored and am always surprised by the game no matter how many times I play it. The leveling system for this game is one of my absolute favorites and earning exp is rather consistent. The only negative I would have to say is that all the story lines are rather the same, there aren’t enough missions where your choices really matter or change what people think about you or what happens. Maybe a few like the war, the dark brother hood, and the companions but that’s about it. However, again, for its time I love this game and it’s in my top three favorite games of all time.… Expand

    Addicted to the game after all these years any small update or release gives me a excitement about to and play another time. Many hours spent on without any regrets, the content makes you feel that there is no limit. A real RPG experience. Actions and game-play has some flaws and when you consider the release of the game very old fashioned.

    the lore is really good and I didn't expected it was like this.

    This is the first and olny edition of skyrim i've played and I think it's a masterpiece. Best open world game i've probably ever played and probably the besr rpg as well. The world of skyrim is so satisfying to explore and all the unique encounters is amazing. The replayability in skyrim is also insane because of the amount of unique builds you can come up with. I'm definitely a huge fan of dragons now. The only negative thing I can say about skyrim is the annoying bugs from time to time and some disappointing quests you can take.     I'm sure we've all played or heard of Skyrim at this point of its lifespan; the game that has been re-released over 10 times over the course of 10 years. Even so, coming back into this was still an amazing experience after so many years.

    When I first played it as a very young kid, it absolutely blew me away, my experience with the game was unreal, everything about it was out of this world. One of the most gorgeous and breathtaking worlds in a videogame, and to this day it still manages to surprise me.

    I love the Scandinavian Medieval setting, with the dragons and the diverse amount of creatures and people, it's a huge game where you create your own story.

    The gameplay is mostly basic with a decent variety of weapons and spells, nothing groundbreaking but it serves its purpose. Where the game feels outdated and tedious is the dungeon design, most dungeons look the same and some puzzles can be frustrating, that being said this doesn't necessarily ruin the experience.

    The scenery, the music, the aurora borealis... it's very nostalgic and makes me teary-eyed, I mourn the days when I didn't know anything about this game, and I wish I could experience it for the first time again.
    A Timeless Masterpiece.

    Skyrim is a classic at this point. The PS4 version continues the game's legacy on the then next-gen console. I'm looking forward to playing this game on the PS5 whenever mine arrives.

    I know this game has been remade or remastered more times then there are numbers but that doesn't stop it being a fun game. Of course the mechanics & graphics are starting to show their age. But if you think back to when it was originally released they were great. Also for how much content they jammed into this game it was ahead of its time.     I have played the PS3, PS4 and PS5 versions of this game but without a doubt played it more on the PS4, and will be grading it as a whole game rather than a remaster. I think it is a very slightly overrated game, as it’s gameplay is very repetitive and boring. Everything else though is either pretty good or amazing so this game should at least be a 9.

    It's been 10 years since this game came out, and I've played it almost religiously since day one. I am convinced that this game is the absolute pinnacle of perfection in video games. No matter how many games I play, I always come back to Skyrim. No matter what new games come out, I compared their UI to Skyrim's. No RPG feels as freeing as Skyrim. No adventure game feels as adventurous asIt's been 10 years since this game came out, and I've played it almost religiously since day one.     Nothing compares. Skyrim is as close to flawless as a video game can get. From the second it starts it is non-stop exploration and escape and exciting. There are endless mountains to climb, ruin to explore, cave to dive into, people to meet and help. Flawless score, fantastic graphics, memorable quests and characters, alongside the heart that goes into living in a world like Skyrim.

    It's one of very few games where bugs and glitches are charming and funny. In fact, they are not even annoying me that much. What I do like: - Lots of quests, fractions and stuff to explore! - Lovely details in quests and in NPC interaction. - Gameplay can fit to every playstyle and can even be changed during the game. - Challenges players to play the    So much love for this game!

    - DLCs are fun and not just a money-making add-on.

    What I don't like:
    - The graphics are quite outdated, sometimes when being in a cave, I find it hard to orientate because the surfaces are flat.
    - Some features could have been designed more convenient, like a central cheast in your house where you can store all of your building materials and don't have to take it and overencumber yourself.

    I'm still playing it on my first play-through and don't want it to end :-(

    Since this is a remaster I was hoping they would have improved on a lot of the bugs in the game. I wasn't able to join the thieves guild because of a glitch for on of the quest turn in locations. Other than that, this game is fantastic. No other game has engrossed me so much in it's lore that I read hundreds of books learning about skyrim and its history. Fantasy elements run wild in skyrim allowing for encounter with demon deities that have build up present in books you can find as well as the many dragons that can swoop down at any time. There are other such events like finishing one quest you find out about a researcher that stole the work of another who has since died. I ran into him on the road with the results of her research and he tried to kill me to silence me, which caught me extremely of guard has i had never really had a scene like that before in a game . Skyrim the place is a character in itself and it was executed to near perfection. The game has a huge volume of quests but it is startling how good they are. The main questlines for each faction in particular are highlights as they introduce you to groups of new characters, facets of the world it takes place in as well as giving you the most varied quests. When your walking through towns people talk about big events that have happened such as the murder of an important person. These little lines add so much to the world of skyrim that they can't be understated. Combat is something you spend a lot of time doing in Skyrim and while I was initially unimpressed by it when I started mixing and matching using all the tools in my arsenal I came to found the combat highly enjoyable, as while each individual method of fighting has little depth using all of them is incredibly versatile. The dungeons are filled with puzzles enemies and most have some kind of quest that anchors them in the world. While they aren't amazing by any means they are enjoyable videogame junk food. There are events that happen in the world that aren't due to the actions of the player that makes skyrim feel alive. Skyrim is full of choices big and small like taking a side in the civil war which the game never lets you forget about as every character has a say. Skyrim's leveling up system is tied to how much you do a specific action which fits perfectly for such a roll driven experience as it allows you to make your the character the way you want them to be. Being able to make your a character into a thief, warrior mage or even a smith creates so many avenues for a player to go down and gives the game replayability. Skyrim in short is a flawed masterpiece that excels in so much that the warts present are almost forgotten and even though my character's journey has come to a fitting conclusion with a wife and adopted children I still find myself itching to hop back in and see what else this world has to offer… Expand

You can even get a horse, a dog, and a friend to help you fight dragons. You can complete quests, clear caves, join guilds, and even become a mage.

    In the Skyrim main storyline, you are the legendary Dragonborn, and you have to join sides with either the stormcloacks or the imperials in order to save Skyrim from collapse. I have played so far, I have played for maybe 15 hours straight, and even I haven’t gotten very far. The main storyline lasts about 30 hours but there are so many side quests it should take 60-70 hours.

    If you arent the violent type you could try trading to earn your coin. If you want to you can buy a house in most cities, and you are able to adopt two children and get married. Another thing you can do is build a house. Building a house makes the house much larger and you can choose which rooms you want, but it costs much more if you don’t want to gather all the resources yourself.

    Those are some of the many reasons I love Skrim and that’s why I recommend it. There are many games I play but this one is by far my favorite. So next time you’re bored and trying to find a game to play, try Skyrim. Skyrim does not work on a PlayStation five and may contain some stuff that may not be appropriate for all ages.    … Expand

    I was late to the Skyrim experience, but even then it was still a fantastic game with deep lore and interesting characters and storylines, as well as endless content with its iconic gameplay. It has aged well and is a quintessential RPG.

    Skyrim! One of the best games out there... Such a honor to play the remastered edition... It doesn't have many differences with the first edition but it gives it a pretty good refresh with the textures and the god rays! Mod support also makes it look a better.

    I feel over all this game is amazing. The graphics are beautiful, the game play is smooth, minus a few hiccups here and there with glitches. This game is jammed packed with side quests and fun things none main story related. It has plenty of DLC and the game could be played for a long time without running out of things to do or discover. I recommend this game.

    My personal console version gripe was/is with the limited two real time quickslots. Way to much pausing to swap in and out stuff really disrupted the gameplay flow. Shame they didn't stick to the old eight quick slots way like in F03/FNV, Morrowind/Oblivion format. On PC you do get 8 quickslots via keyboard, but not with controller, oh well.    … Expand

Now....how does this 8 year old game compares with current gen gems like The witcher 3, Red dead Redemption 2, Outer Worlds, etc?

    Short answer: It is still one of the best games of all time.
    Long answer: You don't play Skyrim for Its story (It's only Ok), neither for Its interesting deeply complex charecters (because there is none), neither for Its amazing gameplay (It is still Okay or good depending on your class, but It is visible that It aged quite a bit), You play Skyrim because of the incredible immersion that It gives you! You can play whatever class you want (knight, thief, nightblade, battlemage, etc), roleplay the type of guy you want to be (evil, good, whatever), in a highly detailed world where you can interact with almost everything. You can even be a vampire or a werewolf. This game is the apex of exploration games, the map is highly densed with interesting sites (caves, nordic ruins, dwarf ruins, etc) each of them with a deep lore and interesting stuff to see. The world of skyrim feels alive and not empty like 90% of most open wold games, during your journeys on the road you can even find a series of random encounters that help keep the wold fresh and alive. The leveling system for me is still the best one in all games that I played, the skill trees are diverse, and each one of them very deep! The Crafting/enchanting/smithing system remains the best and more complex one! The weapons and armours are diverse and very nice looking.

    Skyrim day-to-day life to my character is like this: I wake up in my homestead that I bough and build it from the ground, i pack my stuff and go out to the world to see If the jarls have interesting jobs to give, or if the guilds that I belong (dark brotherhood, thieves guild, the companions and college of winterhold) have jobs for me too, or just wander in the wilderness to lose myself in some cave or bandit camp.
    This is a example:
    Yesterday I found a lighthouse in the frozen northern coast of skyrim, It was the first time that I saw It in all these years, I entered in It expecting to find some npc's, it happens that i found some bodies on the ground covered in blood and pierced by arrows, and the room was chaotic. By reading their journals I found out that there was a family leaving there, and that the siblings suspected of something living in the basement due to strange noises in the night. It turns out that their basement led to a falmer (elves that became blind and savage after being enslaved by the dwemer race ) cave. In that cave I found the body of the 2 siblings, one of them with a knife that her father gave her, as appointed in her letter, so that she avoided a painfull death by being eaten by a giant chaurus that the falmer kept as a pet. Her father however was given to that monster as a meal, as his remains were right next to It. This is just one example of the more than hundred adventures that you can have in this game.

    Finally, well this review turned out to be a love letter to skyrim, sorry for that, the game has now some aging issues, but that for me were not ground breaking. The combat has not aged well but it is still fun, the graphics are not on the same level as current gen graphics, however there is something about the artstyle/graphics in this game that make the views very.....beautiful. The landscaped are truly wonderful to witness. Fortunately, the bugs are (finally) pretty much resolved, so they wont be a issue. If you haven't played the game......you own It to yourself to play It, It is a mandatory game. If you played on ps3/xbox360 and miss skyrim, buy It because the graphics/framerate and loading screens are very improved, and the game is very cheap. Only pc users gain nothing by buying this game.    … Expand

Not worth the market price of $60 being a fairly old game would suggest a sale to get your hands on it. And what damn fun it is to explore the world. From the snowy peaks of a mountain, to the icky, spider-infested swamps, to an ancient, underground city built by a race thought to be extinct. There is nothing to complain about the world of Skyrim, apart from the reliance of fast travel, which is a problem faced by almost every open-world game, but it’s estentuated by the fact that, unless enemies are nearby, you’re falling or inside a building, you can always fast travel, with nothing stopping you. Back to positives, every location and side-quest has a backstory, that can be accessed by one of the hundreds of books. On the topic of quests, they’re another thing Skyrim nails on the head. The sheer quantity of quests is mind-boggling, and, yes, you do find rand, miscellaneous fetch quests. But everything not listed under the Misc. tab is extremely solid. The main questline is about you, the sacred Dragonborn, a brother to dragons, bringing down the harbinger of the end times, the world eater, Alduin. And I’m just going to say, the final boss fight is extremely disappointing. It’s just a normal, re-skinned enemy, but this time you have three people assisting you. There are also guild questlines, which conclude much smoother than the main campaign, but it faces a problem this game has; it tries to make you feel like a chosen one. This does detract from the experience as a victory feels more given than earnt. The game also has slightly sloppy combat, with swordplay feeling weightless most of the time. Also the necessity of a bow to stand a chance against a dragon, before Dragonrend, is slightly annoying, although Archery was one of my favourite methods of combat. Magic was also varied, and I fondly remember looking up how to find new spells, and the journeys that I took the find them. While I found schools such Illusion to be useless to me personally, I can see the true appeal in it. Shouts are a new concept that are well-implemented, and bring brand new things to do, and Fus-Ro-Dahing a poor goat off the Throat of the World will never be boring. The game also looks quite nice for a seventh-generation open-world game, and I still have an extremely fond memory of exploring the outside of Winterhold, Masser and Secunda high in the sky, an aurora floating in the sky, and me fighting off a frost troll. Those gaming memories never leave you. The music, composed by Jeremey Soule is a fine example of how a calm soundtrack is made, with a bombastic main theme, which a masterful rendition of Morrowind’s. Oh, and it’s by Bethesda. Which means that this game contains more bugs than the Amazon. From horses that manage to climb 90 degree, vertical slopes to characters not showing up until you wait an in-game hour, this game has it all. And while Sony didn’t really like the idea of large mods, smaller ones that greatly tweak the game are there. And now we get to the end. This game is one that will be remembered for decades, or until the next Elder Scrolls game releases, and everyone disses Skyrim as trash. Either way, it will still always remain on my list for its beautiful world, its memorable characters and quests and elegant soundtrack.… Expand

Well, what can I say that hasn’t been said already, yes its a fun game, yes you can literally play it how you want with whatever build suits you ( I’m heavy armour and mace & shield player, trying to be sauron from lotr). Plenty of quests to keep you going and ranking up ! The game also came with all the dlc, 2 of which are great 1 not so much (which il get to in a bit). The trophies are pretty straight forward apart from 3 (which il get to in a bit). As for Bethesda’s infamous glitches, as long as they don’t effect the trophies I’m honestly ok with it, it makes the game unintentionally funny. I haven’t downloaded any mods as these disable trophies and that’s a price I just can’t pay. So no comment on mods. So now the negative stuff, luckily it’s nothing game breaking just a few nagging annoyances that spoil the game a bit. The trophies, the one in the main trophy list that will give you the most hassle is definitely the thieves guild final one, although it’s not hard, actually really easy, it’s just pure padding. Literally the game becomes fast travel simulator for about 4 hours. Still not a big problem, just annoying. Next up, the 2 trophies in the dlc, the trophy for killing a legendary dragon is definitely a grind, as they don’t spawn in until you’re around level 70, so be sure to save this trophy till last. Then the other trophy for creating the stealhem ( however it’s spelt) armour, this can be frustrating as the npc you need to talk to can die off screen, plus when can only be spoken to after the end game. But the real kicker is, you need to have Ebony smithing unlocked. If you’re a light armour player going for the trophies, you will hate this. Not a massive problem but it shouldn’t be tied to any armour smithing. As for the dlc, heartfire. This should of been part of the main game on release not dlc, the trophies are stupid, the whole dlc is (in game currency) expensive, just a boring expansion just to build your house! Now I know some players would love this and I would like it too, if it was in the main game not dlc! So overall, if you love stuff like lord of the rings, game of thrones, merlin etc.. you’ll love this. If you’re a player who doesn’t care about trophies, you’ll love this. Finally, if you like collecting trophies, this is a tad frustrating but nothing overall, just be sure to plan out your journey and you’ll be fine, i started really collecting them around level 45 and everything has worked out fine. As a personal note, I prefer Bethesda’s fallout (3 & new Vegas, not that trash 4) RPG games more than Skyrim, but Skyrim is still an amazing game to get immense fun out of. Happy gaming!… Expand

    While it has it's flaws and a few notable bugs here and there, it's probably the best and most wide-open-ended-world RPG ever created. You will never finish every subquest. You will never have nothing left to do. Never.

    And don't listen to the "zero reviews", that's people throwing a friggin tantrum. This is one of the most popular (and for good reason) RPG's of all time. Yes it has some bugs, all Bethesda games do. You just deal with it. Keep auto-save on, big deal. You'll spend 100-200 hours on this, for sure.

    Do note that it's not too much different from the PS3 version, though. If you never played Skyrim, get this version. If you want to play it on PS4 and are okay with just minor improvements, it's still cool. If you're looking for a complete remaster with long-known bugs fixed? No.

    I don't like the melee interface at all, but the magic and bow interfaces are top-notch. I absolutely love playing a stealth-archer style. if you REALLY like melee, then this is not the best interface. It's still enjoyable overall, but there's no dodging, and aiming your melee weapon is about as good as the ridiculous Jedi Academy games.

    Gameplay 9/10

    A couple points off for a crappy melee system, but everything else is really neat. It can be flaky at times, especially if you try some buggy and weird things like riding your horse up the side of a mountain or jumping off cliffs into dragon nests. But overall, it does what you want and is fully engaging at all times. The bugs you get used to.

    The enemy AI is stupid, unfortunately. A point off for that. Instead of being smart, it cheats and knows your location once discovered. Then you get swarmed and die. So you get good at taking things very slowly, unless you're a tank.

    Creativity 8/10

    While a lot of it is standard-fare fantasy RPG, it has it's share of neat storylines, locations, and peoples to interact with. It has a unique feel to it, and doesn't feel trite.

    Music 9/10

    The music often gets stuck in my head for days after a lot of playing. The main theme, played when fighting dragons, especially. Very well done. I'd listen to it beyond playing the game and have been tempted to buy the OST.

    Visuals 9/10

    The backgrounds and locations are really well rendered and engaging. I really feel like I'm sneaking through magical caves, dank catacombs, enchanted forests, and grand castles. I wish they had a camera feature like in Horizon Zero Dawn, for better screenshots, but it's still well done.

    Characters 7/10

    Your own character has no personality, so not much to speak of there, but you do run into some interesting NPC's. Though Serana (on the right here) blows them all away in terms of interactability and personality. As soon as you can start the vampire plotline in the vampire DLC, do so, and get her as a follower. It makes the rest of the game much better.

    Plotline 8/10

    Also mostly standard-fare fantasy stuff, but with a unique elder scrolls flair. Hard for me to judge, after playing through it dozens of times now, but it always held my attention after all that time, so that says something about it.

    Emotional Engagement 6/10

    Without character development, it's hard to say, but I feel for some of the characters that I'm interacting with, at least.

    Replayability 10/10

    Infinitely replayable. On MULTIPLE occasions, I won the game and immediately restarted another character. That says it all. I wish it had a New Game+ mode, but it doesn't matter, because you can cheat and buff your characters pretty quickly if you really want to.

    Also, there's a ton of add-ons and hacks. Especially on Xbox or PC. PS4 is sadly limited, as Sony has weird legal regulations that limit what they want uploaded to their servers. Which is a shame. I hope they revisit this before the next sequel comes out, and get over themselves and allow things.

    Difficulty */10

    Difficulty is up to you. There's multiple settings. Start with normal and up it as you buff yourself. These days, I start new games on the hardest difficulty and manage fine even with no armor or weapons, because I'm used to the game. Once I super-power-up, I'm unstoppable and just chop through everything like butter.    … Expand

The immersion, volume of content, customization, and thrill of exploration are still unparalleled. As a child I grew up with the original Zelda & Final Fantasy games. I was a late adopter of Elder Scrolls, but Morrowind &i sunk more than 200 hours into this on PS3. Years later I have revisited on PS4. Although most of the bugs are still here, I must say, perhaps the best game ever. The immersion, volume of content, customization, and thrill of exploration are still unparalleled. As a child I grew up with the original Zelda & Final Fantasy games. I was a late adopter of Elder Scrolls, but Morrowind & Oblivion eventually got my attention. Skyrim improved on almost every aspect of Oblivion. I recall often thinking, boy I only wish this was Zelda. No surprise then, how heavily Breath of the Wild borrowed from Skyrim. After thoroughly depleting the Witcher 3 & Zelda BotW, I returned to Skyrim. Although far from perfect, the beautiful vistas, thrilling dungeons, seemingly endless loot, lore & mystery still provide the high-water mark that future games will draw from.     If you are totally new to Skyrim and have never played it before and you love RPG games, then this game is really special. Don't worry about the negative reviews. Honestly, the game is repetitive and quests can get boring actually. If all you do is complete quests and have zero interest in reading the books and getting immersed then yeah the game will get dull fast(and I can't blame you, it's not for everyone).

    Also, the bugs people are reporting and giving a 0/10 to the game is ridiculous. I finished the whole game and encountered at most 2 or 3 crashes for an entire playtime of 40 hours. There's no way this game is so buggy as people report here. Some reviews highly exaggerate things just to justify giving this game a low score. Perhaps they are disappointed to find out the game bores them after all these years. Sure you can give it a low score for that reason but don't tell everyone else it deserves low scores because it was unplayable because of bugs or because it's somehow totally different than the ps3 version(lol, it's literally an exact copy with slightly better graphics).    … Expand

    A fun, open-world game that gives the player so much freedom, so much. There are even dragons, DRAGONS THAT WE CAN RIDE!!! There are some bugs, but it's only because of your freedom. There's freedom in your fighting, choices in story, and even how you travel. So much freedom and choices.

    Whilst Skyrim obviously feels a little outdated now in terms of graphics & gameplay, there is still nothing that comes close to rivalling it for the sheer adventure. Definitely overpriced for a remake, but if you never had the original then this is a must-have.

    i never got around to playing Skyrim when it came out so I played the special edition without playing any previous Elder scrolls games and I absolutely love it!

    Truly shocked at some of poor reviews for this amazing game. Even 6 years after the original version, this game feels great. Over 100 hours in and I still haven't finished the main quests. There's so much to do!     I loved Skyrim back when it first came out, and this re-release made me fall into the world of Tamriel all over again. It doesn't do much to improve on the past iteration besides a few bug fixes and better graphics.

    One of my favorite games ever. I have purchased this game 3 times (Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 when I realized Xbox is garbage)

    Graphically, this game is nothing special. What makes it great is the huge amount of content and giant open world to immerse yourself in.

    I've played Oblivion but I never tried skyrim due to the "dark" imagery.. I thought it was too bland for me and the open world aspect looked boring.
    So I tried Witcher 3 which bored me(sorry if you disagree. GO ahead downvote my review I don't care. Witcher 3 is overrated, the story is boring...chasing after ciri gets old after 20 hours)....

    But I just got this game and after spending time on it. I gotta say Bethesda KNOWS how to make a game feel alive and the quests are not ALL boring fetch quests. Some of them do have kick ass plots(ex: Dark brotherhood).

    I'm a hard to please gamer and I don't fall for hype of graphics and new shiny features. But the good reviews from this game are deserving. There are waaay too many open world games these days. This game is one that deserves to open world even if it makes it boring and repetitive at times(quests).

    Any reviewers giving this game anything below 6 should be ashamed of themselves.... They are dragging the User Score to 6.7. If I never played this game, this might have made me think this game was crap.... I would've missed out on it.

    Note: For those players who are complaining that it offers nothing new compared to PS3 and deserves a low rating.... Are you guys retarded??? NO DUH!! It's a re-release of an old game. DID YOU REPURCHASE THIS GAME EXPECTING A FRESH NEW STORY/GAMEPLAY? Come on.    … Expand

    Uno de los mejores juegos de la anterior generación. Lastima que no hayan sacado una oferta para los que ya lo teníamos en PS3. Lo compraré, sin duda, pero cuando baje a un precio razonable.

    Special Edition is a boring remaster – there’s no new content and the visual update is modest. Nonetheless it’s the best way to play Skyrim on a console and a good reason to spend another couple hundred hours in one of few games that are truly worth it. [13/2016, p.67]

    Five years on and Skyrim's quality still stands head and shoulders above all RPGs not named The Witcher 3. It's well worth a revisit, even if the mod support is sorely lacking versus other formats. [Christmas 2016, p.94]
