    I had some fun with this game and it was definitely a unique experience. It didn't overstay its welcome, which is huge to me now with some many good games out there. They executed their vision succinctly and it was really fun. I'm sure it would be great in VR or AR, but it was totally fine and enjoyable on a regular monitor.

    Very fun and unique gameplay which manages to impress most people who know it, definitely worth experiencing, not so much replaying it.

    This game is incredibly innovative and unique. I'm shocked by the user score. My only complaint is that I would have liked it to be an hour or so longer but it's pretty much perfect at what it does.

    Very unique! While the story can be confusing, if you pay attention is has a great plot. It plays very uniquely. Basically time only moves when you move, making a very interesting combat like game. It controls well and for it's style the graphics are great. Definitely a recommended.

    Using a mechanic which I've never even imagined before, SUPERHOT delivers graphical marvels upon the player using slick story elements and a few meta references here and there, after finishing the game I was wondering how other games would look like with the clever twist in gameplay this game has.     SuperHot is a first person shooter with the clever feature that time, and hence the bad guys, only move when you do.

    There is a story of sorts but the game is made up of a series of short, self-contained levels, that have an almost puzzle like quality as try to figure out how best to tackle the enemies. There is a decent amount of variety across the levels and the gameplay is enjoyable    SuperHot is a first person shooter with the clever feature that time, and hence the bad guys, only move when you do.

    There is a story of sorts but the game is made up of a series of short, self-contained levels, that have an almost puzzle like quality as try to figure out how best to tackle the enemies. There is a decent amount of variety across the levels and the gameplay is enjoyable tense. The quick restart helps prevent any frustration that could occur after multiple deaths and gives Superhot that “one more go” addictiveness.

    There has been criticism of the game for its length, and this is understandable as the story lasts less than three hours, but personally I feel the game would have began to outstay it’s welcome had it lasted much longer. There are also a series of unlockable challenges for those that do want to continue playing after the main story mode is completed.

    It may be short lived but Superhot is an innovative (I had to get that word in somewhere) shooter/puzzle hybrid that is well worth picking up if you can find it for a good price.    … Expand

    A great game, actually. I would say it's a puzzle, not a shooter. But I'm not in control, obviously. On the bright side: The mechanic of attaching time to movement is cool. Special kudos for recreating icon movie sets (I recognised like three scenes from The Matrix). Also, piOS design and sounds are great.     On the bright side:

    Just binged through the campaign on this in one sitting (about 2.5 hours) and had an amazing time. Totally unique mechanics and look. A short game but I prefer that to artificial padding. Most innovative FPS in years.

    A fun shooter with an original concept that is well implemented. It’s a short, simple game, but it packs some great twists along the way that makes it outpunch its weight class.

    However, I don’t think it’s worth $25. It took me and my stepkid three hours to get through.     I also thought the game could have benefited from some music during the levels. Having nothing but silence was an odd design choice.

    It doesn't thrive when it comes to story and graphics but it certainly is a very satisfying and fun game to play

    Without a doubt it’s one of the most original shooters ever created, but I must warn you that if you don’t get hooked on challenges, you’ll be done with the game in about 3 hours, because it’s how long the campaign takes. [10/2017, p.72]

    Super Hot is a first person shooter unlike any other. It’s very narrative driven, mind blowing, fps similar to games such as Portal or The Stanley Parable. It’s quite the mind trip and the time driven game mechanic is actually a lot of fun. Just be prepared to run around saying “Super Hot” in your head for the next few days. It’s short but sweet and well worth the trip into this virtual world.
