SMAA doesn't aim to do anything particularly novel, preferring to embrace the clone nature of the game and make that aspect as good as it can be. There's no doubt they made the right decision there, as you'll be hard pressed to not enjoy your time with SMAA.

Super Mutant Alien Assault isn't the greatest shooter in recent memory, but that doesn't take away the fact that it's just really fun to play. And there's plenty of depth tucked away for you to discover the more you play.

It took me multiple attempts to beat each level(noob) and you have to beat all 4 in a stage in one go, to proceed to next stage. Fans of Worms, Liero and old-school arcade will definitely find it fun. Good game to escape for half and hour every now and then. Full Review »
