If you just want a survival horror and you’ve played pretty much all the big ones, Submersed can fill that void. It doesn’t do anything particularly outstanding, but it works.

Submersed is a survival horror game with good ideas drowned by a short duration, bad enemy and level design, weak gameplay and a narrative that feels underdeveloped.

The game's technical issues and inventory system bring it down heavily. Without the flaws, it's a decent survival horror game, but nothing that stands out that well. If you're a hardcore survival horror player, Submersed might be a game to consider (a guilty pleasure), but for those that want a quality survival horror, look elsewhere.

I was really hoping to enojoy this underwater survival horror since underwater horror and sharksploitation are really my thing.
The game have a similar plot than some popular movies like Deep Star Six or particularly Deep Blue Sea, with a huge genetically altered shark on an underwater complex and the protagonist have of course to save the day as Thomas Jane in Deep Blue Sea. But sadly the game fails his promise. The plot is just loosely based on movies mentioned above, the action and the chills are ineffective, the principal characters well isn't Thomas Jane and all is packed with poor design and ridiculous original score that absolutely not feet to the story (I mean seriously, electric guitar action as it was a damn Doom score for an underwater thriller?).
I know this is a low budgeted indie game but the result looks way underaged as it was actually designed for last generation consoles.
