    This is a good game. For me the best star wars game I played. Good Graphics and the gameplay is like Dark Souls or Sekiro. But there some bugs like texture popping, falling down endlessly in one area and late spawn of enemies. Even with bugs this is a must play game. I recommend playing this game. You should buy it.

    The lightsaber combat and force are so fun! I can't stop playing this game since release.
    It brings back the childhood memory of the Empire Strike Back era excitement. It fulfilled the dream of wielding lightsaber and force push enemies in the most elegant visual and actions.
    Damn, I almost thought Star Wars is great again since the downfall of the Last Jedi garbage. But the story is    The lightsaber combat and force are so fun! I can't stop playing this game since release.

    But the story is exactly as my expectation, you know, similar story already seen thousands of times in the episodes, nothing special. Dark side Empire VS surviving resistance / Jedi fugitive

    The Force and Jedi lore is broken after the Last Jedi, luckily, the game happens before all those nonsense and you know there will be cameos from the movies. To avoid spoiler, I would say all Star War fans and nerds should rejoice after seeing those cameos.

    I hope Respawn can do more Star Wars SINGLEPLAYER game, perhaps, next time, we can try the dark side storyline, maybe as a apprentice of Darth Vader. That will be very fun.    … Expand

    Respawn makes great games. With JFO they prove, that they are masters not only in FPS genre. Maybe there is not much that unique in this game, but it mix a lot of absolutely different game styles. Sekiro type battles, ucharted type of climbing and acrobatics, and metroid type of exploration, ascaning and discovering. Cool    To be honest, id give it a 8.7, but MC doent have this option,

    A Star Wars game that I wasnt expecting so much, but the combat and story is incredible and better than the currents stories or games in this saga, maybe a little Bugs or down of fps could be a little anoying while playing, but it's not hard to fix that problems

But has a God of War/Dark Souls feeling to it when it comes to action and environments. The Last Star Wars single player game to come out was Force unleashed II in 2010. It's a breath of fresh air compared to what we have been getting the last 8 years. I'm Disappointing that DisneySTAR WARS Jedi Fallen order is strong in the force!     Truly a grand experience with a fresh set of characters. Respawn has proven why the story-driven Star Wars experience should never fade, but it’s a shame the experience is muddied by it ending far too early.

    Another solid game by Respawn. EA being hands off and allowing them to create what they wanted to from Day 1 and before the merger/buy out was a good move. Maybe this will show EA that they dont need to build games around monetization to create quality products!

    I would give it an 8.5, if I could. This game nails the feel of Star Wars in the way that you remember KotoR nailing it. There is some jank, and uniquely frustrating aspects of combat and exploration; however, the flaws aren't enough to sour the experience for me.

    It's a mix of Tomb Raider and Sekiro, with some of the most interesting and rewarding metroid-vania level design I've played this generation. The combat does a good job of managing the reward of getting stronger, and ramping up difficulty. Enemies are varied enough to keep things interesting, but there are enough basic stormtroopers, etc. to make you feel like a powerful force-wielder. This game is very much a love letter to the fans of Star Wars, and if you are not big on the world the original trilogy created (and Rogue One expanded on), you will probably find this game lacking. The polish isn't on the level of God of War or Uncharted, but it does match their ability to completely immerse the player in the Star Wars universe.

    The things that bug me the most are issues with what seems like input delay in combat, and using the force. If you're a Souls fan, I'm sure this wont be an issue, but the clunky controls can make combat a little difficult when you're expecting an attack or force push to get off before you're hit. It can be very punishing when you get ganged up on after thinking you had killed the guy before he shanked you, but it's not game-breaking. The platforming/traversal can get a bit wonky, and the ice-surfing bits are atrocious. Again, these issues aren't enough to kill my excitement while playing, or overall enjoyment.    … Expand

    Almost perfect level design, Star Wars featuring Dark Souls, Tomb Raider and Uncharted!

    Weaknesses: There is no usable item system. Graphic issues not related to the look. Texture loading problems. I miss Sekiro's combat system, it would be fantastic in a Jedi-Jedi clash.

In recommend you buy if you love Star Wars our action games with a lot of exploration and customization. You aren’t a seasoned Jedi but as you play you will be much more accustomed to the controls and will be thinking like a Jedi in no time. I’veBest Star Wars game I’ve played in years!     Hola, es un gran juego que no innova por eso mi 9, las mecanicas aunque cogidas de varios juegos estan bien implementadas, la banda sonora de 10, las historia es correctissima y la mejor de star wars en los videojuegos desde hace tiempo, el combate divertidissimo y recomiendo jugarlo en las dificultades altas .

    One of the best Star Wars games recently made. The story keep you at the edge of your sit all the time and at the end it gives you a big surprise. The gameplay is perfectly made for the use of the lightsaber and BD-1 is the cutest thing ever made. 10/10 very recommend if you are a casual Starwars fan like me.

I love the gameplay and the story I give it a 9.5 out of 10 the various environments are beautiful and the difficulty is just right as it gives you a challenge until you get the groove of things THE ONLY THING that drags it down is the ending. The running from Vader was epic but the ending scene when Cal destroyed the holocron made me feel like everything the game lead up to was for nothing I understand what they were going for but that's just me. It left room for a sequel so that's good and I really hope it happens because this game was excellent… Expand

I'd give it a 9/10 but the game (as many EA games) has lots of glitches n bugs sometimes very frustrating. Enemies disappearing for a while and coming back from nowhere.     This game surprised me. I'm not a fan of star wars but this game is very good. It is very reminiscent of uncharted, creed killers and a bit of dark souls in combat. I recommend this game.
    It's graphically beautiful even running at low resolution on PS4 PRO or XBOX ONE.
    Still the game deserves 10.

    Hands down one of the best Jedi games ever.
    I didn't expect much (or anything at all) after the recent EA failures, but this game surprised me in a good way. A proper single player experience, Uncharted-like exploration, Sekiro combat, character customization, plot development, awesome visuals... count me in!

    I have never experienced a Metroidvania so flawlessly created in 3D. This is not only one of the best Star Wars Games ever made but also one of the few 3D Metroidvania genres done right in 3D. A lot of design risks were taken in this and it is worthy of a 10/10 in my opinion. I have over 30 hours in the game on Grand Master difficulty and still have more to do.

    Just finished the game on Jedi Master. It's a very enjoyable game. A very linear single player experience with no micro transactions, felt like playing a PS2 title.

    The visuals are crisp although I was playing Death Stranding before and it made this game's visuals very ordinary. Light Saber doesn't feel powerful except slicing regular storm troopers apart. Love the spark effects though.    Just finished the game on Jedi Master. It's a very enjoyable game. A very linear single player experience with no micro transactions, felt like playing a PS2 title.

    Characters are very good although I felt there wasn't enough time to build relationships with them especially the Night sister. Overall campaign took about 20hrs.

    Couple things I hate about this game is the slow loading screens. When you make a game with a similar model to the Souls series where you're expected to die many times you'd make the loading screens a bit shorter. Hopefully they'll iron this one out soon because it's very frustrating.

    Others is the clunky controls especially with the sliding terrain. The other is the vine climbing and platforming. Cal feels like an old man jumping around desperately. Luckily when you fall to your death it respawns you quickly with a bit of your health gone.

    Overall, it's step in the right direction. Could of wished it had a bit more content maybe including some lightsaber forms. A solid 7.5 rounded to a 8.    … Expand

    You got a lot of story in between episode 3 and 4 happening in this game - I mean a lot which also includes other Jedi's (Masters and Padwans) story from the day order 66 was executed. If you walk around to explore the planets there are a lot of echoes to be found.

    The combat system is very good and you have four difficult modes to choose between, and you can at any point, except from in battles, switch to one of the other difficulties.

    There are some surprises throughout the game - both story related and boss fight related, and not to say gameplay related.

    You'll get a double bladed lightsaber during the game's story - you may also get it earlier.

    Let me start off by saying, if you've been following the development of this game you know it is clearly derivative. The exploration is like Tomb Raider, the combat borrows from Souls/Sekiro, and the level design is definitely Metroidvania whereby areas are locked until you return with certain gear. But all of that being said, it is all put together well and with a Star Wars coat of paint over it that makes it extremely refreshing in a way.

    The Combat, while not as difficult as Souls/Sekiro, it still offers a good challenge. Obviously a big difference here is having force powers. These powers are cool and feel powerful. You absolutely cannot go into a battle just button mashing and if you do, you will find yourself on the reloading screen once again (Which take a long time to load, but not too bad if you have an SSD). The battles against other melee wielding foes in particular are so exciting and they feel epic.

    The Exploration is EXCELLENT and the 3D map that is borrowed from games like Doom 2016 are so helpful. The map even lets you know what areas you need powers to unlock and its so great for backtracking.

    The Story so far has been fantastic and you can see it in Cals face, the internal struggle he is going through as he tries to process his trauma of surviving Order 66. Some may call him bland, but my defense to that is.. well he was just a scared kid with a lightsaber on the run from the government. He hasn't had the time or freedom to develop much of a personality. He just wants to live. I personally find him and the rest of the cast great additions and the cinematography and writing has been great so far.

    The sound design in this game is also top notch and I have nothing else to report on here.
    The music is AMAZING and extremely fitting to the SW universe. Bravo

    The Customization to a small degree is also something to be praised. It is far deeper than what I had expected. There are 5 parts to a lightsaber that can be customized at any time on your ship (which serves as a hub). However the other customization is a bit lacking. You can only choose from external ponchos to throw on Cal. While this is nice I wouldve preferred some more options. There are also 1 off design choises for BD-1 and your ship.

    I could go on and on about how well the game is made but it is not without its flaws. As I mentioned before, the loading screens can be quite lengthy and on the harder difficulties, you are going to die.. a lot. it can be a tad annoying but not game breaking by any means.

    There is also quite a bit of backtracking. That just comes with the metroidvania type of level design. While it personally does not bother me, I can see how it may bother other people.

    DISMEMBERMENT: I understand this is a sore topic for some. This is a 2 part answer. Yes, dismemberment is in the game. non-humans are dismembered regularly and it looks and feels great. Humanoid enemies on the other hand just get scorch marks. Similar to the movies, HUMAN DISMEMBERMENT is in the game, however it is reserved for bigger story driven moments. Probably to make it more dramatic and meaningful.

    I personally do not care if stormtroopers can be dismembered regularly, but I understand how it may upset others. I am just happy to have a polished SW game as a Jedi.

    Technically speaking, I have had zero issues. The game is running very well in the performance mode on a PS4 Pro. There are notable dips and some hitches but its not terribly distracting
    I also have a PC and may double dip on this title as I am enjoying it so much and want to see how it looks/runs on a PC. I've heard good things.

    All in all, this game is a dream for any Star Wars fan. it is not perfect, but it is excellent. EA has beating Star Wars fans down long enough. Respawn has come to save the day and everyone who has been thinking about getting this game needs to go out and buy it! We need to reward Respawn for a job well done and also tell EA that these are the types of games we want out from the SW franchise.    … Expand

    This game feels amazing!!! You really feel as if your swinging the light saber yourself. The lack of dismemberment for humans, quickly fades from your thoughts as there are multiple creature to dismember. The worlds feel open I got lost a couple times thinking I missed something, but just needed to use my eyes better. The saber battles are great the getting your ass kicked to come back andThis game feels amazing!!! You really feel as if your swinging the light saber yourself. The lack of dismemberment for humans, quickly fades from your thoughts as there are multiple creature to dismember. The worlds feel open I got lost a couple times thinking I missed something, but just needed to use my eyes better. The saber battles are great the getting your ass kicked to come back and win is very satisfying. I hope EA keeps this path for our star wars experience if your skeptical this is definitely a game you'll feel satisfied with maybe EA see our side nothing really new here but the experience jump in and see for yourself… Expand

    Incredible! A single-player experience that focuses on tight combat and immersive story-driven narrative. It's been a long time coming but this is the ONE to finally prove that EA are perhaps worthy of the license. More like this please EA, Less BS "Live-services".
    Running on a RTX 2070 i7-9700k 4K HDR - perfectly fluid and a dream to play.

    Finally a good star wars game, even though battlefront 2 (2017) has improved a lot since release, this is the definitive star wars video game experience of this generation. Respawn has my trust as a top tier developer and I eagerly anticipate their next game.

Combat is excellent and the puzzles are good enough to make your cogs work. Minor issue is the loading time after you respawn..it takes atleast 15- 30 seconds sometimes. The hero is likable, as well as the other characters - the little droid bd is a super cool companion (and an extremely helpful one). This is a SOLID game, no question about it.

    All that being said, there are some baffling issues that I cannot believe were not addressed, during the development. The main one, for me, is the lack of a fast travel option betweeen meditation spots. That makes returning to your ship a MAJOR CHORE, when you are barely making through maps that are complete vertical labyrinths. Additionally, there are some hiccups and stuttering and frame drops that don't hurt the experience but cannot be unnoticed.

    The game is awesome, there are breathtaking sequences that remind me of games like Uncharted and Tomb Raider - as well as God of War and Shadow of the Colossus. Finally EA did something good. FINALLY.    … Expand

    Its voice acting is above average. It's ambiance of Tomb Raider meets Uncharted in space was a plus for me.
    On the down side is you may find the cycle of the same 12 things to do a little harder next time tedious. Fortunately the story and how combat evolves make it worthwhile. Towards the end a few TRULY EPIC confrontations, one with a giant bat-mouse.
    Looking at the pro critics who disliked this, my bet is they did not finish the game, only played the first few hours on story mode. Play on a harder setting; make it easier towards the end; that's how it's designed.
    As a writer I have a hard time conceiving of where this story could be taken for a sequel.    … Expand

    Definitely the best Star Wars Game I’ve ever played.

    It combines the best elements of games like Uncharted (Tomb Raider), Dark Souls (Sekiro) and Metroid Prime. If you like these type of games and if you’re a fan of Star Wars I’m pretty sure you’ll endore this game!

    Es verdad que no es lo más puntero en gráficos, aunque los paisajes que verás mientras te desplazas por él son espectaculares. Pero no es sólo que sean bonitos, es que los mapas están muy bien pensados, y resulta muy interesante ver cómo están interconectados y    Lo más importante a decir de este juego es que es MUY DIVERTIDO jugar, que al final es de lo que se tratan los videojuegos.

    Es verdad que no es lo más puntero en gráficos, aunque los paisajes que verás mientras te desplazas por él son espectaculares. Pero no es sólo que sean bonitos, es que los mapas están muy bien pensados, y resulta muy interesante ver cómo están interconectados y balanceados para que siempre tengas algo nuevo que descubrir si quieres hacerlo.

    Por otra parte, el combate es muy gratificante y está bien equilibrado. Es un gustazo partir bichos con el sable láser o hacer uso de las distintas habilidades.

    La historia está bien, sin ser excelente, ya que es bastante delicado hacer una que entre en el canon de Star Wars. Es complicado porque no puedes representar nada que signifique "cambios para la galaxia" ni que afecte a las películas u otros productos del ya mencionado canon.

    Y la música.. Oh la música! La banda sonora es espectacular. Algunas de las piezas que no existían (porque también encontraremos alguna que nos suene :p ) son más "música Star Wars" que otras de las últimas películas.

    Está claro que el juego toma mecánicas de otros: metroidvania (en cuanto a los mapas y la necesidad de ir desbloqueando habilidades para acceder a nuevas zonas), souls-like (sistema de hogueras, pérdida de experiencia y combate), e incluso juegos tipo uncharted (la manera de moverte por los mapas escalando, etc); pero no lo tomemos como algo malo, sino al revés: son buenas mecánicas, que generan buenas dinámicas y que al final están muy bien unidas y mezcladas con el universo de Star Wars.

    Si no tiene un 10 es por: 1 - su duración, que se puede quedar algo corta si sigues la historia sin desviarte nada, unas 10-12 horas (aunque el juego llama a explorar y lo normal es que se te alargue a unas 20-25 horas). 2 - El rendimiento (hablo de PS4 normal): algunas bajadas de frames en ciertos puntos incluso llegando a congelarse la pantalla durante 3 segundos o más en algunas situaciones.

    Para terminar, valoremos también la iniciativa. Por fin EA nos da un juego con una campaña para un jugador y sin micro-transacciones o políticas abusivas. Un juego a la antigua usanza, en el que el contenido se desbloquea JUGANDO. Apoyemos está corriente que es a la que debería moverse la industria, y no la contraria.

    En definitiva, si te gustan los juegos de acción/aventura y eres fan de Star Wars, DEBES JUGAR a Jedi Fallen Order. Que la fuerza te acompañe!    … Expand

The visual effects were exceptional and beautiful and they are the best I have seen in a video game that I have played. I love all of the cool, cute, creepy, and awesome looking creatures and alien species. The writing and story were phenomenal but I did think the story was a little to short. The gameplay is so much fun and is the some of the best gameplay out of all the games I have played. I love all of the customization options that you get and how you get to change your Lightsaber, outfit, BD-1, and the Mantis. I loved how you get to find seeds and plant them on the Mantis. The acting was outstanding especically from Cameron Monaghan, Debra Wilson, Daniel Roebuck, Tina Ivlev, Elizabeth Grullon, and Liam McIntyre. The music was excellent.     My brother loaned me a physical copy of this because he knew there was no way I would get it on my own. It is very challenging and the story is probably better than the recent movies with better acting shout out to Forrest Whitaker. The beginning is a little strange getting used to and I recommend switching to auto climb because the climbing can be weird.     Wow just wow. The over paid suits at EA with no clue, better wake up and see that this is how you make a video game. This game is 100% better than the trash Star Wars movies that Disney pushed upon us and brings us back to what Star Wars should be. Congrats to Respawn for making this.

    The light saber style is awesome! I loved every moment deflecting blaster shots back at the Storm Troopers. The game is not exactly what I thought (definitely more difficult) but as I play (about 6 hours in) I can feel the sense of power growing. I do feel like this game could've used 6 more months in the oven due to some weird glitches, and tightening up on the platforming controls.

    Pleasantly surprised by this game, which is certainly doing a better job telling a Star Wars story than the horrible films are doing! Gameplay is reminiscent of uncharted which isn't, in my opinion a bad thing at all . My only gripe is the veery long load times, the save points (or lack thereof) and the Respawn mechanic, which is just frustrating and annoying. Otherwise very good so far.

    As someone with limited time to play games, the shame of Fallen Order stems from multiple frustrations. It’s hard to fight and, worse, it’s hard to move. The game’s timing issues distracted me from both the story and the beautifully constructed worlds; I was too focused on simply staying alive. My many (many, many, many) deaths discouraged me from exploring worlds — all of them beautiful — as did the simple fact that traveling by foot (even a Jedi’s Force-enhanced feet) takes forever.
