    I love the campaign!!!!! the graphics the sound, the characters I just love it. although there are some problems with the multiplayer has some issues. But I only bought it for the campaign and I just love it.

    Far from perfect, but a very enjoyable shooter with a great multiplayer and a perfectly okay storyline. After the loot box fiasco, EA has taken out the microtransactions and the game can only get better from here.

    Everyone is hugely focused on the hero's and loot boxes so let me forget that first: You will only spend about 10% of your time as a hero in most game modes, even if you top the leader boards every game...     Loot boxes are not a huge issue for me because you earn enough in game credits to grab a couple of boxes a day at least and the currency between the worst version of a card and the best is VERY small. So ignore the corporate greed and enjoy.

    Now as for the gameplay experience itself, well, it's fantastic. Great graphics, detailed environments, atmospheric sound and adaptable classes make for intense and addictive gameplay every game.    … Expand

    I wanted to buy this game very badly but could not pull the trigger. EA decided to pull in game purchases due to their broken pay to win loot crates tied to progression system. Now I am going to buy the game lets just hope what ever system they come up with doesn't have pay to win features.

    Even if I don't like it I'm still going to buy it because it beats all of the other star-wars regardless.

    The game is cool.The graphics, the sound just fly away. Hate the game and rate it low-end estimates for in-game microtransactions are just stupid. For we made free DLS and cool campaign and you want to make. But not enough for you all? Should be glad that is. And in the future everyone will be fine with new things and patches I hope.     Ofter 10hs of gameplay i found a solid game, with exceptionals visuals and sound.

    A credits are very easy to optain if you are a good player.

    All the rat kid are crying because mom and dad don't gives you money to buy loot boxes and start to guive 0 or 1 calification to the game.

    Despite EA's best efforts to destroy this game with microtransactions, the game play is solid, the single player campaign is fun, and the multiplayer is SO much better than the first battlefront. I have experienced a few frame rate drops on Xbox One, but nothing that caused any major issues.

    While it was released like a free to play game with at 60$ price tag, They have completely changed the game, and it is without any of those elements. Only thing you can buy with real money is cosmetics. Except for that it is pretty fun with many diverse game modes and excellent visuals and sound

    Pro's
    - Graphics are Beautiful and Vibrant on Ps4 Pro and Frame-rate was solid for me so far.
    - Sound is "AMAZING" it brings the game together on every level.
    - Finally some Offline mode like we requested wen the first one came out. Granted Campaign is not
    the best of the best but Still a great addition and pretty cinematic at that the take from an imperial
    character over the story is interesting and even though the Sequence where we play other hero's
    pale a bit they are still fun and give a small "Training session" on how to use their powers.
    - Online is Solid and well made, being able to exchange points gained in a Match to spawn as a hero
    or a Special unit is gratifying and usually make a difference in the tide of combat which i appreciate

    Con's
    - Micro-transaction yeah they are a bit of a pain, but most the upgrade they give are incremental
    and small, except for Star-fighter those become WOW....
    - Limited Hero selection at first, since we need to unlock them I've been in a Match of Hero's vs
    Villain's where i had to quit because all my hero's were locked or already selected.

    in the end, i'm giving it a 8/10
    i'm Enjoying the Game even with the flaws, i'm happy all the DLC are going to be Free and that i'm saving the Stupid Season pass price, but the most important, i'm just plain having fun.    … Expand

    Here for anyone new who's thinking about picking the game up. Do it. The game is filled with different content now compared to day one, and Dice is doing an excellent job supporting it. It seems like every couple weeks now theres a new hero or special being added, or something to look forward to. Even the newer heroes and cosmetics that do cost credits are cheap and can be obtained in a few hours making the game feel satisfying with its progression and not grindy at all. Last but not least, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is very fun, one of my favourite shooters and has been for the last year or so. Heroes vs Villains is another big deal as its always exciting and feels intimate, if thats something that you prefer.… Expand

    I don't know why this game is so underrated. Maybe for the online game? I don't know. I've just beat the campaign and ok, the plot could be better and I found some lag for a few moments in the firsts missions but still, the graphics are just great, the story could be longer.     Arcade is great for offline with Scenarios like the firsts missions in the original 2015 Battlefront but based on more of the eras. custom games are great fun though with only 2 modes, but with loads of options that is basically all you need for offline bots. each are still fun, (needs starfighter assault mode though)

    Graphics wise is some of the best i have seen with the character models that arent human look almost like the real thing from the movies, (maz looks Brilliant and yoda is cute... wait did i just say that) minus some distance objects popping in and out. Audio is the best in any star wars game and listening to Kylo rens lightsaber is just the best thing in the world. each world is masterfully recreated here and nothing can deny that. the ships are well made and modeled as well. the amount of small details in these worlds is great as well from the wild life running/flying around to the floor and sky details. finally making a return from The Forced Unleashed 2, lightsabers are able to cut the floors and walls when you slice them or just move around them.

    i might be a little bias being a star wars fan and even loved the Prequels because i watched them first as a kid (episode 3 my first ever star wars film in the cinemas back in 2005 was a brilliant experience), but that doesnt change the fact this is the best start wars game in A LONG TIME, though i did like The Forced Unleashed II which was great    … Expand

    The hate for this game is kind of unreal. Trust me, I understand the hate for loot boxes. They are gone now and I HIGHLY doubt they're coming back with them being classified as gambling. The game itself is everything last years plus everything that was missing from it (Space battles, story mode) The game is a great game with some hiccups here and there but definitely worth a buy

    I love the MP, but sadly it is the only thing to love. SP misses the beat by taking the "story" to the wrong direction and we can only hope DLC takes it further and surprises us. Plus SP is used to make you want to buy loot crates.. They totally missed the potential of making Star Wars cannon story! IDIOTS. In MP the loot crates can create an unfair advantage, but overall I wouldn´t takeI love the MP, but sadly it is the only thing to love.     I am all about the campaigns and this game has one of the best ones I have ever played. All these poor reviews are based on the multiplayer and those players are missing out. The graphics are outstanding, the story is great with an added bonus when you finish the main story, and the shear achievement of how great the game play is keeps bringing me back. I have already unlocked Luke, Vader, and lots of star cards, and I've only played about 8 hours. The progression system can be confusing at times, but you get used to it.     I've now played this game for 20 hours and love it! The loot boxes are not an issue for me because I'm still getting plenty of good cards just by playing the game!     Главными проблемами первого батлфронта-это отсутствие контента батл пикапы и отсутствие сингла,но здесь,их полностью убрали,теперь контента стало намного больше,появились батл поинты, которые нужно получить за выполнение задач,появился очень неплохой сингл,который является каноном.Графика по прежнему на высоте,в отличии от какого-то кал ты дьюти,ты не боишься подойти к какой нибудь богомерзкой текстуре,от которой у тебя выльются глаза,такого нету. Ты подходишь к любой текстуре,и знаешь,что от дальнейшего просмотра ты не выколишь себе глаза,таких нету.
    Теперь про самое обсуждаемое о батлфронт 2-донат.Я был крайне удивлен,когда их увидел,в отличии от кс,тут выподают вполне нормальные карты,ну а если тебе не выпадает карта,которая тебе не нравится,ты просто можешь её купить за запчасти. За кристаллы(собственно то,что является валютой),которую ты покупаешь в игре-только для кейсов. К примеру для того, чтобы открыть героя,нужно накопить кредиты,которые нельзя купить с помощью микротранзакций,только через игру. Донат,к счастью,не работают так как все считают,к примеру:
    Тебе выпадает карта Кайло Рена,ты ее используешь,идёшь в галактическую битву,и хочешь её проверить,но для этого,нужно накопить батл поинты, которые открываются только за выполнение задач. Это и был главный посыл этого комментария,донат в батлфронт 2 - не решает! Решает скилл!
    Подведём итоги:
    Игра шикарная,но донат(хоть необязательный),поломал всю игру,но в отличии от других,я не буду ставить этой игре ноль или два,я поставлю столько,сколько она заслуживает,а именно-8.
    Сделав предзаказ на эту игру,я не пожалел. И посоветовав эту игру,у меня не будет чувства,что я кого-то обманул.    … Expand

    Én borzasztóan csalódtam a játék sztorijában. Csak emiatt vettem meg. És ugyanúgy érzek amíg a birodalom oldalán harcoltam addig király volt aztán hirtelen átálltunk, és zavaros kapkodás volt. És a végén teljesen össze lett csapva. Kivéve a vége mert az úgy ahogy megmentette a sztorit a szakadéktól (de nem teljesen).

Végre a birodalommal harcolhattunk (volna), de ehelyett visszatértünk az unalmas átrágott klisékhez, ahelyett hogy nagyobb betekintést nyerhettünk volna az akkori birodalomba, annak lassú széteséséhez (gondolok itt a belső hatalmi harcokra, mert én ezt vártam volna a sztoritól), és újraszületésére valamint az első rend megalakulására. És arról nem is térnék ki hogy a sztori túl rövid ami koránt sem elég a karakterek fejlődésére megismerésére amiben szintén óriási potenciál volt.

    Összességében: Nagyon nagyot csalódtam benne és nagyon elvette a kedvemet ez az egész (és még jön az új star wars ami még jobban elveszi a kedvem).

    Természetesen ez a kritika csak a sztoriról szól a játék menetére és a Multiplayerre valamint a grafikára nagy dicséret jár.    … Expand

    Star Wars Battlefront 2 is actually a really fun game. I finished the campaign and look forward to the FREE DLC that will be coming out in the near future. I understand all the dislike for EA and the sketchy business schemes and practices. What makes me curious is why there are so many 0 scores for this game when people are rating the game and not EA.     I don't think people fully understand that there are microtransactions so that all the new content is free, although I do think that gameplay affecting gear in randomized loot crates is a dumb idea. I think EA has at least improved the overall experience though by giving way more maps and heroes, and creating a class system. All the multiplayer modes are fun though, except Heroes vs. Villains has a poorly made system in my opinion. Also, certain Strikes I think are unfair because they end up being whichever team is more coordinated wins. Overall, I think this game deserves a better rating, even though the microtransation issue is indeed annoying. Although I was able to get Darth Vader within the first few hours of playing without paying anything because the "challenges" give you lots of credits.… Expand

    Battlefront 2 contains some stunning scenery and some stupid fun gameplay. Although a few hiccups from the publisher, Battlefront 2 certainly deserves a better rating than .9/10.     People should give this game another chance because they fixed all of the issues added a progression system that is good, all star cards are gained from playing the game not from loot boxes, and finally loot crates are optional they are only for emotes and victory poses.

    Needs more variety of heroes. Why is there no Obi Wan, Ashoka, Grievous, Dooku etc?
    Not a massive fan of pay to win, but I preferred the old upgrade system.

    The gameplay and mechanics of the game is awesome, beautiful graphics and animation, multiplayer is awesome and such an improvement from the first one, Free DLC and still more to come. i really like this game but the Story could have been better, too short and repetitive gameplay.

    Campaign is OK at best, it was not the best campaign I have ever played but most certainly not the worst. The multiplayer is pretty good which is the main reason this game is a 8/10 to me.

    DICE sure has shown us how to make a great comeback with a game which was destroyed by public opinion at launch. With no loot boxes anymore and tons of content added since then (Clone Wars heroes, skins, maps, reinforcements, droidekas, DROIDEKAS), it feels another game. If you are a Star Wars fan, there's no reason why you shouldn't have it.

There are a lot of great classes the hero pool is pretty big and the maps are visually stunning. This game is a must buy considering you can get it for 10 bucks on keyseller sites.

    Game had a rough start but the game has had so much support in the last year and a half! New heroes, new reinforcements, new vehicles, new game modes, new maps, and soon new planets! This has to be one of the best comebacks in gaming history. The dev team has done so much for this game and the community. Definitely give it another try if you haven't already

    Don't know why people dislike this game for me it was an improvement over the last game in terms of characters added and offline content. The story for me is good enough for me but the real improvement is the multiplayer as with more characters the game is addicting and fun to enjoy. For people on the borderline of which Battlefront game to buy this is the one.

Being a player who's played the game since Day 1, the game wasn't great at launch, yes, but in 2020 it almost isn't recognizable when comparing it to its state at launch. Lootboxes have been removed for a long time, our fan favorite heroes such as Anakin, Obi-Wan, Grievous, and Dooku were added into the game, requested reinforcements like the ARC Trooper, Clone Commando, Commando Droid etc. were added, and even Capital Supremacy, a call back to the original Battlefront 2's famous game-mode of control points and interior ship battles, was added into the game. It's a shame EA cancelled the game when they did, because if they let it go on a little longer it likely would have become the best Star Wars game out there with heroes like Ahsoka, Ventress, Padme, and Cad Bane that were in development. Even still, this is one of the best Star Wars experiences you can have, and I could not recommend it more.… Expand

    This game is very good. sure in the beginning it was overlooked because of the lootbox controversy. But since then the developers at DICE really worked their skins off too revive the game and even if it's sad they didn't get in everything i wanted like ashoka, coruscant among others It went from a mess at launch to become one of the best shooters out there. If you have a chance go give it a try.

    One thing is the addition of my favorite season the Clone Wars. which added Obi-Wan/Grievous/Dooku/Anakin and even the clone commando! along with others of course. The addition of capital supremacy was amazing. Honestly I think its better than the original and that's coming from a guy who creamed over that game. Now the only thing I have against the game right now would be the story. Yeah kinda lack luster protagonist and we all wish that they could just re-create the old battlefront story but that isn't possible due to Disney annexing it from cannon.
    Please if you ever get the chance, re-play the game with all the updates and you won't be as disappointed as you were 2 years ago.    … Expand

    At it's release, I'll admit, it was pretty shady and had many faults. However, the state today is an amazing star wars game with so much content from every era. EA redeemed themselves

    A MULTIPLAYER MASTERPIECE. This game is my #1 favorite game. So much has happened since the launch and it’s a whole new game. I keep coming back to this and there’s just so much to do in this game! Well invested money since you get so much out of it. Dice and EA keeps surprising us with awesome new expansions, new characters, maps, modes and more (totally free)! And with the new BB8 as aA MULTIPLAYER MASTERPIECE. This game is my #1 favorite game. So much has happened since the launch and it’s a whole new game. I keep coming back to this and there’s just so much to do in this game! Well invested money since you get so much out of it. Dice and EA keeps surprising us with awesome new expansions, new characters, maps, modes and more (totally free)! And with the new BB8 as a hero (and it magically works!?) things are only getting better and better... Now the tropical planet Scariff is coming to Battlefront II. Dice and EA earn a big round of applause for really listening to the fans, working hard to get things right and making a bad game one of the best! A multiplayer masterpiece.… Expand

    One of the biggest turnarounds in gaming history. No longer pay to win, but play to win. It has recovered tremendously from its AWFUL launch in 2017. Better than the 2004, and 2015 battlefront. Still think the 2005 one is the best as it does: Galactic conquest, hunt and the campaign superiorly to 2017. Has a boring a bland campaign. Some offline content.     this game I remembered that it was slaughtered, so I passed away, I had never played anything from Star Wars but I always wanted to.
    Now with Plus, I was able to play the game without having to pay a high price, and I went without many expectations.

    O jogo de 2017 mudou muito para 2020, não posso dizer que é o mesmo jogo. A jogabilidade está excelente, mapas que lembram aos filmes e bem divertidos de jogar, a variedade de modos é bem legal e lógico existe os cosméticos, porém são acessíveis ( não precisando gastar com dinheiro de verdade).

    Um jogo que começou muito mal, mas aos poucos foi melhorando cada vez mais, com um multiplayer consistente, balanceado, divertido e ótimo para passar o tempo.

    Игра шикарна в плане графики. Но Данат всё портит. Да кейсов больше нет но остались кристаллы. Из за всего этого появился диз баланс.

    Очень хочу чтобы в 3 части Даната не было но это не возможно. Жаль.

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
