    I just got the game today and its pretty good, graphics are awesome but I notice a little bit lest content in multiplayer compared to the first star wars battlefront, I dont really know if we will get any free dlc update like rainbow six siege, but its pretty good, many people hate it just cause of the loot boxes thing and trust me that thing sucked, all the EA "scam" they tried to do toI just got the game today and its pretty good, graphics are awesome but I notice a little bit lest content in multiplayer compared to the first star wars battlefront, I dont really know if we will get any free dlc update like rainbow six siege, but its pretty good, many people hate it just cause of the loot boxes thing and trust me that thing sucked, all the EA "scam" they tried to do to us was horrible, but the game itself its totally good, history its dicent too, I recomend you buy it but not at full price, for example it was around $1200 MXN (Mexican pesos) about $60 USD (American dollar) at beggining, then it reduced to $700 MXN - $1000 MXN about $35-$50 USD, but I got it for $479.20 MXN, around $23.63 USD, and it was new and sealed, you should get it at this low prices and most important have fun with it and dont be toxic ingame. ;D (Have in mind the Mexican Peso - Dolar exchange rate are from the 10th of June of 2018, this may change)… Expand

    I have played this game since Beta, I was very concerned about the pay to win system and the microtransactions and that made me not buy the game, of course because of this live service practice the game suffered a great deal and pushed fans like me away.

    BUT, i have been play this game for 8 months now and i must say they have improved a lot.     As a Star Wars fan there are many things I liked about this title; easter eggs, the story, some characters, etc. However, its campaign is very short, and despite telling a new story (with new and classic characters from the saga) it doesn't have as much weight as I would have liked.

    It's clear that as a Battlefield, this game wants to focus on the MultiPlayer, which is quite entertaining, limited and with its several connections in comparison with such franchise.     Great graphics, but my ps4 pro sounds like plane when playing this :D
    At this point this game is pretty goods. But older Battlefront was better.

    Battlefront II is a different game than launch day. The DLC has changed the whole game. ranging from characters and the modes. The Campaign is lackluster. But you call still tell EA still has there dirty hand. But you can tell that they were holding back a lot of the content back. I like this game. But this game has a lot Skeleton in the closet

    Single missions are poorly structured, characters are very simple and you won't get a convincing story from this game.     I bought this game a year after it was released and I don't regret it. However, it is by no means perfect. The in-game economy is stingy so you have to grind to earn a good amount of money but it's only used for skins and emotes. Micro-transactions have no influence on gameplay. The campaign is really boring and arcade mode doesn't have much that is fun. Multiplayer is what saves thisI bought this game a year after it was released and I don't regret it.     A friend bought me this game well after the lootboxes were removed from the game.     Tal cual. No probé el Multijugador, puesto que no me interesa. En resumen: un juego excelente para apreciar, pero no tanto para jugar. JUGABILIDAD: El juego es decente en tanto estamos en tierra.     JUGABILIDAD:
    El juego es decente en tanto estamos en tierra. La ventaja de tener varios personajes jugables le da una gran variedad al gameplay. Cada uno tiene su propio estilo y habilidades. Es un shooter, sí. Pero uno decente.

    Mis problemas al respecto son dos: que es repetitivo y al poco tiempo llega a aburrir, y las batallas galácticas.

    Simplemente no están bien logradas. Me han parecido poco pulidas, molestas, con una jugabilidad desaprovechada. Y, simplemente, quitan tiempo y espacio que pudo dedicarse a más misiones "regulares".

    GRÁFICOS:
    In-game el juego es bueno: buenos paisajes, animaciones decentes, buen manejo de luz. Es bueno.
    Pero las cinemáticas con estupendas. Muy muy superiores, Battlefront es una delicia narrativa, todas y cada una de las cinemáticas (acompañadas de la música, claro) son digas de ser llamadas Star Wars.

    SONIDO:
    Increíble. Cada pieza es majestuosa. El Soundtrack completo es maravilloso y le da al juego "eso" que necesita para merecer ser jugado.

    INNOVACIÓN:
    SWBII puede ser, a grandes rasgos, un buen juego. Pero no deja de ser un shooter más.    … Expand

    *Only Single Player* A fairly average shooter with some portions of aerial combat and lightsabers thrown in. It's the skin of Star Wars and a decent plot following Iden Versio which saves the game from being a complete waste of time.

    Hoy en día, disfruto mucho el juego, ya que eliminaron casi en su totalidad, las micro transacciones. Se podría decir que se volvió odioso el tener que pagar todo para poder desbloquear todo.
    Hoy en día, disfruto mucho el juego, ya que eliminaron casi en su totalidad, las micro transacciones. Me gusta mucho los diseños de los personajes, ya que son exactamente iguales al de las películas (excepto Harrison Ford como Han Solo), también las subidas de niveles de los personajes es entretenido y puedes introducirles multiplicadores para que sean un poco más fuertes.
    La historia no me gustó para nada, la introducción del personaje Iden Versio, fue completamente innecesaria, me hubiera conformado con que sea solo multijugador como Overwatch. El multijugador es completamente entretenido y lo disfrutas demasiado (por lo menos en mi caso), puedes elegir entre las facciones que fueron apareciendo a lo largo de las películas desde los separatistas hasta la primera orden, tiene modo cooperativo para jugar con tus amigos.
    El ganar experiencia y subir de nivel es, relativamente, fácil pero el ganar dinero, para comprarle accesorios a tus héroes, puede ser complicado pero posible.
    Disfrute mucho el multijugador más que la historia, por lo que recomiendo jugarlo en algún momento y, si no eres fan de Star Wars o no lo conoces, este definitivamente sería una buena introducción a su universo.    … Expand

The cards that upgrade your characters can give veteran players an unfair advantage and unlocking new weapons takes an insane amount of time. What results in this is frustrating multiplayer matches where you feel like you aren't contributing to the team and are simply grinding for more XP.

    The Starfighter Assault mode is the best mode in the game and does not suffer the same issues as the standard multiplayer matches.

    Overall, the core gameplay just isn't very fun and feels clunky. While I commend the developers for fixing the loot box issues, the game unfortunately just isn't all that great.    … Expand

    The game started out rough, especially with the microtransaction fiasco. However, it has gotten better with age. Multiplayer has been fleshed out with more modes, maps, and heroes but the single-player experience is still lacking. It's sad how the single-player experience from the original Battlefront 2 outshines this attempt.

    I didn't play at its realese, but the game is defenetly better than his predessesor. All the eras are present as well as their characters. They did add a single player mode but it was pretty bad.
    Solid multiplayer, but that still not it.

The multiplayer missed a lot of stiff in its original release but it’s gotten better over the years. It still doesn’t measure up to SWBFII the original back on PS2 and PC.     A rocky start to the game, as I was hoping to play on the Empire side a lot longer than I played during the Rebels side. Multiplayer can be enjoying at times, but I wished they added more content from the prequel/ clone wars/ original trilogy eras during the early days of the game instead of like a year or 2 after launch.

Quitando todas las polémicas con respecto a las micro transacciones que tuvo el juego en su salida y luego se solucionaron, el juego ha sido finalmente abandonado por EA y quedando en el olvido (es verdad que los primeros meses se añadieron personajes, mapas y contenido nuevo). La jugabilidad de este shooter es bastanteUn juego con mucho potencial pero que ha acabado quedándose estancado. Quitando todas las polémicas con respecto a las micro transacciones que tuvo el juego en su salida y luego se solucionaron, el juego ha sido finalmente abandonado por EA y quedando en el olvido (es verdad que los primeros meses se añadieron personajes, mapas y contenido nuevo). La jugabilidad de este shooter es bastante buena, además de los modos de juego que no están nada mal. La música es propia de Star Wars (por lo que es buenísima) y el apartado artístico es correcto. Cabe destacar que la historia me gustó mucho y se la recomiendo a todos los fans de Star Wars. El problema radica en que actualmente no hay soporte del juego, por lo que hay hackers en todas las partidas, y en que no hay absolutamente ningún objetivo que te incentive a jugar. Aun así el juego no está nada mal, pero a día de hoy no lo puedo recomendar debido a estos problemas en el multijugador. 7,3/10

    I remember the backlash era this game had like it was yesterday. I’m never on board with review bombing or hate train culture, so I gave the game its fair shot right after launch. To be fair, back then this game was pretty barebones. Nowadays I hear it’s turned into a stellar game, but I can only speak on completing the story that was available at launch. I’ve always loved Star Wars, butI remember the backlash era this game had like it was yesterday. Serviceable is the word I’m looking for. Especially the section where you play as Luke and kill bugs for 5 minutes straight. Horrendous. The visuals are great to look at, but there wasn’t much substance outside of that.     One of the most buggiest and unbalanced games I've ever played. When killing enemies in campaign the bodys literally floated in the air or continually twitches and it's just hilarious. I have no idea if anyone else had that problem. The multiplayer is so unbalanced I'm over here a lvl nine and when I died the player that killed me lvl 500.     Despite the other reviews I actually really enjoyed the game. But I am a massive star wars fan. Looks good. The system for getting hero's could do with tweaking because its hard to earn enough credits to buy them for new players. And let's be honest no one wants to spend the whole game as a storm trooper.     The online part is great and all, but for some reason it's missing some of main characters from the new movies like for example Poe Dameron (yes I know you get to fly his X-Wing) , Cassian Andor, K-2SO, Chirrut Înwe, Baze Malvus, Qi' ra, Tobias Beckett, L3-37 to name a few so you get my point. Why are those characters are not in the game? Is a good question.     This game is doing the same cliche. You get a character that is on the other side of the band and then during the third act finds that his/her actions are doing more hurting than good. It's so difficult to have a character to stay on his believes through the end of the game? That's my main critic of the story.    … Expand

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
