Spellbreak runs well, it’s unique, and most importantly, it’s fun to play. If Proletariat Games sticks with Spellbreak and continues to improve it, it should be able to carve a long term niche in the popular battle royale genre.

An intriguing take on the battle royale formula which swaps out soldiers and guns for wizards and spells, Spellbreak is a touch limited in its current form certainly. However, resoundingly solid fundamentals, a gorgeous art style and a promising content roadmap all come together to create a commendable and entertainingly sophisticated battle royale effort that everyone can enjoy.

Spellbreak‘s magic systems and fun take on the battle royale genre show that with some more time and development it’s going to be something really impressive. Whether or not it has the staying power is up to time and how much its community sticks with it but already there’s a lot of potential brewing here.

Hopefully the development teams are listening to the players, because while it's a highly recommendable game right now, Spellbreak has the potential to become a great one.

If Spellbreak gets continued support it could be a contender but for now this fairly limited F2P battle royale game isn't bad.

Spellbreak is an interesting battle royale that offers intense fights with spells and enchantments, but its "magic" runs out quite fast.

Spellbreak holds vast potential and is full of depths to explore, but it’s not quite there yet, despite the 1.0 release. Sure, it’s fun enough to play if you can sit down with two of your friends and bash out a couple hours’ madness, but I forgot what the game was called once I stopped playing. With next to no lore within the game, and with every win or loss feeling the same, there's just not quite enough to make a lasting impression.

At the time of writing this, solos and duos are locked, otherwise I'd give it a 10. I'd write I longer review but I'm on mobile and wanted to give it a number while it's on my mind

Yes, the game has to improve but this beginning is very promising. Please, work hard the details and regular updates so the players will be here. I'm supporting this video game from the first day. Good job! Expand

Its a really great game when you put in a good amount of hours and can really see the improvement from hour 1 to hour 5 for example. This gameIts a really great game when you put in a good amount of hours and can really see the improvement from hour 1 to hour 5 for example. This game has so much potential for growth with the talents system, and being able to expand into other gamemodes smoothly aswell which the devs are all in for. It is a little clunky in some areas. But the Combat system and mastering the movement in this game is what really draws you in, because its not your typical shoot at the enemy for 3 seconds and they are dead. These fights can last 10-40 seconds depending on the player which really immerses you into game. The Lore is still in progress but so far it is solid. Expand

However some of the design elements seem promising the game suffers from a mass amount of cheaters that ruin the experience.
