    a great game, as concept, as gameplay.
    notable issue is the AI, that goes from totally idiotic (guys talking, one headshot and the others goes around bored) to impossible detection from 500m and game over...from mob with an AK.

    But the 5/10 is for the main thing in a first person game: aiming.
    using a controller is PAINFUL.
    This is not a game for a console.

    Game regulary crashes and corupt saves! This happens every time after loading game after death.

    Think Farcry 3 engine with added glitches to it. Feels like the same exact game, but with new maps and RPG skill trees. There is still no Manual save option, luckily there are 5-7 different autosave slots tho, so it likely wont overwrite where you were 5 minutes ago. The square button still feels broke, I press it about 3 times before I reload, when I use a zip line, I can only hope forThink Farcry 3 engine with added glitches to it.     I have tried to jump over a wall to get somewhere quicker, while I would have made it, game does not allow it. I fell thru the map a couple times and had to reload or suicide to fix. The game was 6 GB installed without patch, is 16 GB with patch. The game was copied from disc quicker than the levels load up, seriously!
    Just renting, but seems doubtful I can finish this, all 5 levels!    … Expand

    I'm only on the first actual mission and many of the annoyances from the first game are present, along with some new ones. Mission intros can't be skipped, dumb enemy AI, terrible map, enemies can hit hit back from over 1000 m with assault rifles, poor dialogue, long loading times...and the game autosaves way too frequently so you may have to redo an entire mission to correct one mishap.I'm only on the first actual mission and many of the annoyances from the first game are present, along with some new ones. I've already become stuck twice, once on a rock and once on a shooting platform i.e. can't change stance and can only go in a circle on the spot. This game has been a long time coming and to see it with the bad features of the first installment and so buggy is disappointing.… Expand

    Definitely the best Sniper Ghost Warrior game till date.
    Contracts 1 was a big step forward even if it was still not on all AA or AAA level it still was enjoyable.
    Contracts 2 got it a step up with more options , better gameplay and cool long range shots too.

    There's so much to this game. I'd give it a 9 but since it's only $40 it's an easy 10 for value. The only thing missing is airplanes and choppers going overhead to sync/mask your shots on loud rifles. I love the story, killing Mid east dictators is my bread and butter. Long range shots with range and gravity is very satisfying. There's lots of great weapons and customization, great gadgetsThere's so much to this game. I'd give it a 9 but since it's only $40 it's an easy 10 for value. The only thing missing is airplanes and choppers going overhead to sync/mask your shots on loud rifles. There's lots of great weapons and customization, great gadgets (the remote sniper system is awesome) and guess what? So far zero bugs and I'm halfway through the game. That's a big deal for these more "budget" games but honestly i keep forgetting this isn't a $60 AAA title other than having "only" 6 missions. I love Contracts 1 especially for the winter theme and now I have a desert theme. These 2 games together are some of my favorite. I stayed away for a long time due to the budget price and early version bugs but that was really dumb of me. The DLC is good as well, I got the deluxe version after having so much fun with the dlc frim contracts 1.

    9/10 for great gameplay and story, but since it's only 40 it's an easy 10 (especially with lack of bugs).

    If you even think you might like this BUY IT. I've only recently started buying games for full price (i can afford it now) because there are some devs i think deserve full support and these guys do it.

    All try Rebellions Zombie Army 4 that has great sniping as well.

    If i could wish for 1 thing it would be to add more bass to the sniper sounds sometimes and also a DLC pack with 2 more levels for 15 bucks.

    Btw i played on PS4 pro was graphics in my eyes are top notch. Great textures, large levels with lots of details especially on terrain and the frame rate was perfect. I do wish the enemy AI was notch better but it's still great. I wish they had ways to mask the sound when i fired with airplanes but I've already said that. Also wish when i fired long distance and there weren't sniper it would take longer to find me but it's a game and it needs to kinda be this way. For example when i clear an outpost in real life the next outpost would be on high alert but this is for fun and that's what this game does. It's semi realistic fun. For $40. I've had more fun for 40 than many games for 60.

    Good job devs. Rarely do I get my money's worth (so far this year RE8 was perfect, biomutant was great and Disco Elysium was really good. Only outriders was kinda hit and miss, and Disco and Outriders were so buggy the game wouldn't run without crashing for a month or two, no crashes here)

    I almost forgot to mention there is a very nice amount of rpg style progression through earning money, finding Intel and eliminating bounties. I need this usually to drive me to progress and give me a sense of strength as I earn new weapons, gadgets and playstyles.    … Expand

    What a little gem of a game this is. Beautifully made, straightforward and delivering tons and tons of fun. That is as long as popping bad guys heads with a rifle after a hard day at work is your definition of fun.
    Also, I feel I have to mention the outstanding great sniping mechanics - just about hard enough to make it a real challenge for a middle-aged amateur like me and making You    What a little gem of a game this is. Beautifully made, straightforward and delivering tons and tons of fun. That is as long as popping bad guys heads with a rifle after a hard day at work is your definition of fun.
    Also, I feel I have to mention the outstanding great sniping mechanics - just about hard enough to make it a real challenge for a middle-aged amateur like me and making You feel like a genuine sharpshooter after scoring a headshot on a target 500m away while not requiring long hours of training to do so.

    I would rate it easily at 8/10,.

    Best one yet! Continues to build on the core from the first contracts but adding new ways to complete the mission that makes this game better than it’s precursor. The game runs more smoothly and is more fun overall than the last one.

Главный герой, первоклассный снайпер и диверсант с позывным Raven, отправляется в неспокойный регион с полной обоймой демократии калибра .50 BMG. В его распоряжении богатый арсенал оружия, гаджетов и спецтехники. Цель — устранить ближайших сподвижников ближневосточного диктатора, обрезать каналы снабжения, обезоружить и в конце концов устранить тирана.

    Структура кампании, как и в предыдущей игре, такова. Перед игроком есть пять регионов, каждый из которых — это крупная бесшовная локация. Чтобы продвинуться по, скажем, сюжету, игрок должен выполнить основные контракты в регионе. Целью задания может быть диверсия, разведка или убийство. Контракты разнообразны и интересны: от заражения вирусом суперкомпьютера до спасения и прикрытия пленного журналиста.

    В основном игрок сам волен выбирать, в каком порядке и какими методами проходить мисси, но теперь разработчики постарались сделать первое прохождение региона более линейным. Между основными контрактами есть очевидные маршруты, по которым игрок доберется до следующей цели быстрее и безопаснее всего. Изредка попадаются области, куда игрок сможет попасть, только исследуя локацию — места обитания опциональных целей. Несколько подстегивает интерес к исследованию необходимость находить скины для оружия на локациях, а не покупать, как раньше, в магазине снаряжения.
    Деньги в игре можно получить как за выполнение самих контрактов, так и за дополнительные задания — устранение опциональных целей. Здесь они называются заказами и награждаются в том числе жетонами, что нужны для покупки самых козырных винтовок. Другой источник денег — испытания. Теперь в регионах их под двадцать штук, и они очевидно противоречат друг другу. Например, убить цель, не поднимая тревоги, или взорвать ее. Испытания здесь — элемент «вовлекалочки», чтобы после прохождения основной кампании игрок мог еще немножко повозиться на локациях. К тому же за них дают очки прокачки навыков самого снайпера.

    Система подготовки к миссии осталась неизменной. Игрок выбирает себе оружие трех типов, берет нужные ему в зависимости от миссии навыки, дополняет спецсредствами типа гранат, дрона или снайперской турели и выходит на дело. Снаряжение теперь можно сменить, не уходя с локации, что несомненный плюс. Как и в предыдущей части, игра запоминает выполненные задания, но после выхода в меню возвращает всех врагов и все цели на свои места. Поэтому, если раньше игрок был вынужден выбирать снаряжение на всю миссию от и до, теперь он может более тонко подгонять снайпера под текущую задачу.    … Expand

    Having played SGW 1-3 and SGW Contracts 1 I was really anticipating the sequel from CI games . The SGW franchise has its own finger print of game play and mechanics that sets its self apart from any other sniper franchises. The graphics and scenery are stunning even with an older GPU card such as I have on high settings. Voice acting is very good and sounds of the game are outstanding. TheHaving played SGW 1-3 and SGW Contracts 1 I was really anticipating the sequel from CI games . The SGW franchise has its own finger print of game play and mechanics that sets its self apart from any other sniper franchises. The graphics and scenery are stunning even with an older GPU card such as I have on high settings. Voice acting is very good and sounds of the game are outstanding. The long distance sniping contracts that where added are a great addition since SGWC1 . There signature slo-mo kill cam and gore settings are great as always but can be set to off if wanted .I personally prefer to play with both the kill cam and gore settings off on some longer shots. Watching the bullet flight thru my scope hitting the target is very satisfying and helps to relocate other targets much faster when needed. You complete contracts for pay outs to purchase weapons, gadgets and sniper skills. Price is fair enough at $39.99 base game.

    Bottom line this is an excellent game with all the stealth and sniping you will ever want . If your a gamer who always plays the sniper class in every online game like me .Your going to really enjoy this SGWC2 game. I took my time checking out weapons exploring each area of the map. I was in no hurry and completed Zindah Providence region to 100% all contracts ,challenges and collectibles. I played SGWC1 the same way. Completing each region or providence to 100% before moving on and if I needed equipment to finish a region I simply went back once it was acquired .    … Expand

    I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Graphics were VERY good imo, the story was quite compelling, the gameplay was very fun, and it was a good challenge. Took me about 6 hours to complete, and it retailed for $40. FPS isn't my fav, and sniping is hard to make a full game out of, so props to them.

    Contracts 2 is a really fun game that improves on the previous versions. Gunplay is fun, missions are sufficiently challenging without being overly difficult. The graphics are nice. The maps are complex, imaginative and very well designed and they were a lot of fun to explore.
    One huge improvement over the last version is that the game saves way more frequently so that if you get killed,    Contracts 2 is a really fun game that improves on the previous versions. Gunplay is fun, missions are sufficiently challenging without being overly difficult. The graphics are nice. The maps are complex, imaginative and very well designed and they were a lot of fun to explore.
    One huge improvement over the last version is that the game saves way more frequently so that if you get killed, you don't have to start so far back; having to do that in C1 was rage-inducing.    … Expand

    SGW: Contracts 2 is another relatively mediocre title in an overly long franchise of sniper sim games. It has some creative level design and great sniping moments when assassinating long-range targets, but it still remains an overly generic FPS game with lacklustre mission design and terrible AI.

    Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is a step up for CI Games and the franchise. Running much better than its predecessor and finding the right gameplay formula, the experience is a fun one that allows you to turn your brain off and just let loose, sniping some fools from a cliffside. Whilst not amazing, I am hopeful for the future of the franchise and where CI Games takes it.
