    The lack of narrative hasn't stopped me from pouring hours and hours into Sky Force Reloaded, and I don't doubt I'll put in a great many more—I have to perfect every level on Insane difficulty, after all. This is a game that doesn't do anything new, but it takes a classic genre and delivers on it so well that it's hard to fault the lack of innovation. If you have even the slightest interest in shoot 'em ups, this is a game you don't want to miss.

    I’m really surprised just how much I enjoyed Sky Force Reloaded, the first time I loaded it up I was playing it for five hours non-stop and at no point was I bored. Adding grind to a shoot ’em up sounds terrible but it’s a genius idea to counter the shoot ’em up’s traditionally short playtime. By adding the challenges, the act of replaying a level twenty or more times never gets boring. I am now going to bestow on Sky Force the highest honour I can give it: It reminds me of SWIV.

    Sky Force Reloaded is a pleasant surprise. It's a slightly repetitive, but always challenging experience that impresses with an unconventional progression system. Fans of Resogun need not doubt.

    Despite a lot of insane grinding, Sky Force Reloaded is a great porting from mobile to console. If you love shoot 'em ups, you should not miss this game for any reason.

    Equal parts shoot 'em up and rogue-lite, Sky Force Reloaded feels like a deluxe version of the previous game and that's no bad thing at all but don't expect anything revolutionary this time around.

    Considering how cheap it is and its quality, we think it's a very good option if you want to play a classic shoot 'em up on modern platforms.

    Though not hugely different from its prequel, Sky Force Anniversary, Sky Force Reloaded nonetheless offers up a compelling slice of vertical scrolling shoot em’ up action that both newcomers and fans of the genre will undoubtedly enjoy.

    Sky Force makes me think of how fun arcade games used to be, it’s like a modern 1943 with all you would expect. The gameplay just about flawless in terms of control, depth and replay ability. This shooter isn’t easy, but it is rewarding and incredibly fun. Equally smooth and brutal, if you die it’s because of you and you will die quite a bit. These guys added a bunch of cool new stuff to hunt down, new planes, parts, cards some are timed which increases the urgency. Genius. Co op is awesome. Best 10 bucks Ive dropped on the PlayStation store.… Full Review »
