May 21, 2018Unplayable, made me sick both times I've tried to play. Even when I could handle it, it was just held back by the vr in terms of gameplay. This game represents everything people fear of vr, motion sickness, gameplay mechanics clearly restricted by the peripheral. Straightfoward shooter in mech, they did a great job in presentation, and making you feel like you're in an actual mech though.

Oct 16, 2017Worst motion sickness I've had in a VR game. The opening cinematic for when you start matches doesn't give you any head movement and that was about the end for me. Tutorial is unbearably tedious. Movement is slow and clunky. I don't recommend.

Aug 30, 2017RIGS: Mechanized Combat League may be the posterchild for PlayStation VR, but it's not the headset's MVP. While this future sports sim has a strong art style and some interesting ideas, it struggles to get the business done where it matters – on the pitch. Nauseating action and mushy combat really cause this contender to drop points.

Jan 28, 2017Probably the first true competitive sports game in virtual reality. It has its flaws, sure, but it offers an entertaining experience sports fans will definitely enjoy.

CD-ActionJan 12, 2017Despite RIGS’s modest content hats down to Guerrilla Games for proving that there’s a place in virtual reality for real, fast-paced first-person shooters, not just the on-rail variety. [13/2016, p.78]
