    Resident Evil 3 is an excellent game. The action is great, the graphics are impeccable, and many aspects have been improved over RE2, such as sound design. The sound of glass crunching under Jill's feet is satisfying, especially with a good pair of over-the-ear headphones. A 8 because the Story is really to short.

    While surely disappointing to fans of the original game as someone who's new to the series and started with Resident Evil 2 (2019) I found it really fun and enjoyable. The graphics were improved, I liked both main leads, and while it was shorter than the previous instalment it was long enough for me to be satisfied. (Even still I wish it was longer.)     Graficamente es espectacular, jugablemente también. El problema es que la historia no es muy larga y su multijugador es entretenido a secas.

    I may have given this game a lower score if I had paid full price, but for the $20 I paid, this game is terrific. I actually prefer a shorter RE experience, and this delivered some great gameplay, story and visuals. A solid entry.

    While not as impressive or great as the RE2 Remake, the 3rd game still captures the feel of the original and the new take on Nemesis, locations and other things were welcomed. I really liked it.

    The "remake" of Resident Evil 2, was really similar to the original one, changing just a few things, and that's the reason why a lot of people loved that game, but this one, Resident Evil 3 is very different of the 1999 game, but that is not something bad, because RE2 and RE3 are not supposed to be "remakes" they are REIMAGINATIONS, so, they don't have to be just like the original game,The "remake" of Resident Evil 2, was really similar to the original one, changing just a few things, and that's the reason why a lot of people loved that game, but this one, Resident Evil 3 is very different of the 1999 game, but that is not something bad, because RE2 and RE3 are not supposed to be "remakes" they are REIMAGINATIONS, so, they don't have to be just like the original game, and RE3 feels like you are playing a new and different game and that's awesome, if you don't like it, it doesn't mean that is a bad game, for those who don't enjoy playing the new RE3, go and play the original one, but both are great, the changes that RE3 have are really awesome, and nemesis is better than ever, the boss fight against phase 2 and phase 3 are really enjoyable, and the game IS NOT SHORT, is even longer than the original, the 1999 game i beat it on 5 hours and 42 minutes in my FIRST TIME, and the 2020 game i beat it on 12 hours and 15 minutes on my FIRST TIME too, and both games i beat it with all the zones discovered at the 100% obtaining every single item. The new RE3 is really really awesome and enjoyable, after you beat the game are a lot of challenges left to do, like complete it in nightmare and inferno, two modes that are more difficult than hardcore… Expand

    I liked this game I just wish it was longer n I also wish like in re.2 that Carlos n jill had separate stories like leon n Clair did. Have them separate n not mashed into 1 game i think would have been better. I still like the story better then the last of us 2 cuz no1 wants there main character killed the way joel was n then have to play as abby his killer . That to me was so dumb and aI liked this game I just wish it was longer n I also wish like in re.2 that Carlos n jill had separate stories like leon n Clair did.     Resident evil 3 (original) is probably the most important game in my life, and i ganna say, i was a bit disappointed with this remake

    I dont agree with the sentiment that the game was too short. I found the initial play through to be quite satisfying, with trophy achievements offering replayability. A few more puzzle elements would have been nice but overall i thought i got my moneys worth

    Resident Evil 2 Remake was a hit in last year, but here I was also not disappointed this game. Fantastic remake survival horror with cult monster - Nemesis, which he can scare us. Capcom did a great graphics this remake, but on RE Engine looks great. I wish that there are so many cuts with comparison in classic. I was enjoying this game great and I always remember this game.

    Me parece un buen juego y con muy buenos momentos. Cuando va pasando todo lo de los zombies va y llega nemesis y para mi opinion me parece un buen diseño, cada uno tiene su forma de opinar sobre el RE3 pero para mi me parece un buen juego.

    Soy un gran fanatico de la Serie Resident Evil desde sus inicios en ps3 y me encanto este remake ! muchas personas lo desechan por ser corto, pero a pesar de que la historia no es excesivamente larga.. se disfruta bastante y tiene una gran rejugabilidad !

    A much better handling of the story as compared to resident evil 2 remake, and phenomenal character designs beautiful iteration of Jill and Carlos, gameplay wise it plays pretty nice it's much more of an action horror experience which personally I didn't mind at all my only two problems were that I wanted to explore more in racoon city and the fact the game was a bit short, but overall IA much better handling of the story as compared to resident evil 2 remake, and phenomenal character designs beautiful iteration of Jill and Carlos, gameplay wise it plays pretty nice it's much more of an action horror experience which personally I didn't mind at all my only two problems were that I wanted to explore more in racoon city and the fact the game was a bit short, but overall I absolutely loved it.… Expand

    It would have got a 10/10 if they kept the first part for exploration rather than a cinematic "cutscene".
    The original is still better with Nemesis following you around and being terrified at how you're going to defend against it.
    Needed a little more intense terror along with the action.
    A bit too short imo.

По сравнению с оригиналом, они получились более живыми и проработанными, особенно Карлос. Но я очень рад, что каркас главных героев оставили с оригинальной игры и не стали "изобретать велосипед". А вот про второстепенных персонажей уже нельзя сказать так однозначно. Некоторые из них претерпели изменения в лучшую сторону, а некоторых показали гораздо халтурнее, нежели в 99 году. В игре очень много положительных аспектов, но есть один весомый минус, о котором нельзя промолчать. Наполнение в игре отличное: стрелять все так же приятно, бегать по городу в поисках отмычек и патронов туда-сюда, так же как и в оригинале сделано - прекрасно. Стычки с Немезисом - напряженные и изматывающие. Но, есть одно "но," - ПОЧЕМУ ТАК МАЛО? Это чувство пришло ко мне после 4-того прохождения на сложности "инферно". Вроде все круто и эпично, но вот... мало. Открытое преследование "Немезиса", по локациям игры происходит только единожды. Тогда как в оригинале на PS1 этого было намного больше. В остальном, в ремейке он появляется только по скриптам, и то для "Босс Файта". И ты понимаешь, что вот круто сделали, но мало...Игра ускоренная, и это обусловлено сюжетом. Но если вы игру ускоряете, то наполните ее - еще большим контентом. Тоже самое хочется сказать и о загадках, и о всем содержимом внутри игры, а именно - мало. Я прошел игру и выбил платину с удовольствием, но чувство ненасытности, преследовало меня каждый раз на финальных титрах. Игру рекомендую. Это хороший проект, который я проходил с чувством удовольствия и ностальгии. Надеюсь, Capcom учтут критику для будущих проектов.    … Expand

With that in mind it's a Lil unfair for me to compare it to re2 bc I absolutely love the old version and remake of the game, but this game was more of an action horror than I wanted it to be. No complaints. It's an awesome game but It never made me scared to walk into the next room bc I knew that whatever was on the other side I'd be able to destroy, no problem, bc of the arsenal this game gives you. Combined with the dodge mechanic! THE DODGE! Talk about a life savor. Oh and did I mention the auto heal haha. Great game… Expand

One of the best added features is the dodge mechanic. It's similar to the dodge in the the RE Revelations series but it actually works.

It's similar to the dodge in the the RE Revelations series but it actually works.

    Another great addition are the "coin" boosts. You can really customize your play style if you are willing to sacrifice a storage spot. So, even beyond normal, hard, and even harder modes, you can tweak the difficulty from within there with the coins.

    Jill and Carlos' characters are generally well done, neither too invincible, too weak, too arrogant, nor too obnoxious as are characters in many modern games. The Mikhail villain is a bit overly one-dimensional, though.

    The upgrades and rewards systems are likewise actually attainable without being ultra-expert level player (like RE2R required) nor playing for a million hours. With moderate to generous repeated gameplay, you can achieve enough weapon kills and other reward points to unlock funner stuff — including the RE trademark infinite weapons which always make for a fun playthrough. There's also a very fun fire knife called Hot Dogger that won't ever break and will set enemies ablaze briefly with every strike.    … Expand

    Technically superb, robust gameplay and stunning graphics.
    Game is much more action oriented thant RE2, and feels too short (specially compared to RE2).
    RE2 is the better game, but this one is fun too.

    Unfortunatelly, Resident Evil 3 is very short. However, it is fun to play. I was never a fan of RE games, but I played the original on PS1 and it was much better than the remake, with more puzzles, better stories, more levels, etc. Even other characters, like Dario, had better moments.
    It's sad what Capcom did with that game, because it should have been so much better.

    I guess I wasn't able to play the original RE3 so I don't have my nostalgia goggles on me. You cannot compare a game two decades ago to a game released recently. The only time people defend the original in its gameplay mechanics are the time when they cannot put aside their nostalgic goggles. PROS - Jill is probably the most gorgeous fictional character I’ve ever seen. - plenty of action. You’re never struggling to survive and looking for ammo.     It's stunning and a great revisitation of the old classic (which I played when I was young on PS1).
    However, with the full price tag it's also disappointing for today's gaming standards.
    It would have been better as a DLC for the RE2 remake, as it feels like one.

    Yes this game is very short & should’ve had all the cut content from the original in it, even if it had to be delayed. However, I still ADORED finishing this game.     The game is not bad, it's got different, kinda generic locations. The graphics are amazing. Gameplay is smooth, the story is good. The downside is that the game is short for the money.

    To me Resident Evil 3 was just a step up from RE2 it was a lot more fun/action packed. Definitely a little scarier, especially when that big ass nemesis comes charging at you. Highly recommend this game if you played RE2.

    I'd rate this game a solid 8 or 9, it's massively underrated though, so I'll give it a 10. Nice story and locations, great graphics, a very good graphics plus a great gameplay. I'd highly recommend for any survival horrors fan.

    A pesar de no ser mi Resident Evil favorito de entre los clásicos, este remake me ha gustado bastante. Buena dosis de zombies, disparos y plantas verdes. En lo técnico luce de 10 con un apartado gráfico excelso.

I seldom had to go out of my way to find hidden items or secret areas. RE3 also provides an abundance of items and ammo to get through presented challenges; a stark contrast to RE2. RE3's crafting system is identical to RE2 and works extremely well. The player has full control over what types of ammo they want to prioritize crafting. RE3 also switches between two playable characters: Jill and Carlos. The swaps do not feel out of place in the story, and each character plays differently because of their different weapons. The character swap also resets some of the urgency in scouring the world for items. While playing Jill, I knew I had quantitative reserves of healing materials and ammo in my storage. Some of the early boss encounters with Nemesis are obtuse in design but climatic battles with it later in the game are well done. My most memorable moment has to be the final showdown with Nemesis and Jill’s on point one-liner. Overall, Resident Evil 3 provides a short but succinct, well-presented story with great gameplay.… Expand

    - En el apartado musical y efecto sonoros. Nos encontramos de la misma forma que con los gráficos en un entorno inmersivo, Que nos proporciona esos picos de tensión y esos momentos de calma. Las armas y los zombies también suenan geniales. Todos los elemntos auditivos que se pueden encontrar en el juego contribuyen notablemente a la fluidez del juego, acompañan a la tensión y a la acción de manera simbiótica perfectamente orquestada.

    Multijugador
    - El multijugador es de aquellas cosas que si bien no molesta que estén, tampoco habríamos notado su ausencia. RE Resitance es muy descafeinado. No aporta, faltan personas en el Matchmaking, es poco creíble. En definitiva es un apartado que en mi caso no me ha interesado nada pero tampoco hay ningún elemento que me invite a seguir jugando al multijugador. No es atrayente.
    Duración
    - Es un juego muy corto, de ahí el intento de incluir el multijugador. Al tratarse de un juego de mucha más acción que el 2, con mucho menos componente de exploración y más frenético. Te pasarás la mayor parte del juego corriendo. No quiero decir con esto que por ser un juego corto sea malo. En absoluto es malo si bien es cierto que se siente una vez terminado que falta algo más que apenas te has puesto con él. Entiendo que aumentando el nivel de dificultad aumente la duracción, pero en puzzles y exploración seguirá siendo un juego pobre en este apartado, aunque el original tampoco destacaba por ser un juego largo precisamente.

    ofc it isn't a perfect game but it's pretty nice. Resident Evil 3 remake feels like a good old action movie with great special effects and the protagonist is fckn amazing. I truly love Jill. Her voice and lines are brilliant (and her look is wonderful but I don't really care)

    Most anticipated game for me for this year. Because i was a re3 fan when i had ps1. Yes it is little bit short but still ok. Especially first hour is wonderful. Graphics and cinematics, action scenes. However i can feel like that developers hurried up to finish this project.

    A diferencia del remake de resident evil 2, este (sin dejar de ser un muy buen juego), se queda corto, se olvida de escenarios claves del original y eso le puede hacer perder encanto. Pero es un muy buen juego, que te mantendrá entretenido hasta el final.

    The gameplay is similar to Resident Evil 2 Remake yet more action packed .It's super fun and satisfying.There was not a single moment I didn't enjoy in this game, not every game needs to be long and for me who have not played the original yet and I knew about the game's length it was an excellent experience .Nemesis is terrifying ,the atmosphere is great and eerie.There is a decent enemy variety to make the experience not stale.The bossfights were really good and intense and I enjoyed that the final fight had a little more into it than waiting and getting the big ass weapon and ending it in a single shot. The areas were fantastic ,all of them .Most of all I liked roaming to raccoon city and the hospital section ,they were phenomenal.There wasn't as much backtracking ,but I'm fine with it.Worth mentioning of course are the puzzles which were enjoyable to say the least.

    The cast was amazing .Jill is an amazing protagonist ,she shines way more here than she does in Resident Evil , she is probably my favourite video game protagonist along with Leon. Carlos was a great secondary character.At first I wasnt that much into playing as him ,but how can you not love this guy, I wouldn't want a Carlos-less world.Nemesis is a great antagonistic force that constantly greatly pushes the narrative .There are also more things going on,but I will avoid them cause I don't want to spoil.

    The game looks amazing ,the RE engine shows once again how great it is ,the graphics look stellar.
    I also need to say that the credits song was a really beautiful piece of music,it really made me feel nostalgic for some reason and warmed my heart.

    Overall,I have to say that it makes me sad when people don't respect this game,because even if there are many differences with the original ,much love was clearly poured into it and it's visible.It's an amazing game that needs more love and respect. I 100% recommend this very underrated gem of a game    … Expand

    After a stellar remake of an arguably the best Resident Evil game ever made, Capcom has let down our expectations by giving us a more scripted, more linear survival horror action game that will probably be forgotten like so many sequels that have gone the path of less resistance when it comes to game design. RE3 make feels more like a DLC than a full-blown game.
