    I enjoyed this slick action-leaning survival horror game. I've been playing Resi games for 23 years and can happily say this is a good one. While it suffers from coming in the wake of the wonderful experience that was the RE2 remake, pretty much offering more of the same, it is definitely worth playing.

    The locations are memorable (especially the streets, power plant and the hospital)    I enjoyed this slick action-leaning survival horror game. I've been playing Resi games for 23 years and can happily say this is a good one. While it suffers from coming in the wake of the wonderful experience that was the RE2 remake, pretty much offering more of the same, it is definitely worth playing.

    The locations are memorable (especially the streets, power plant and the hospital) and it was good to switch between Jill and Carlos. I thought the boss battles were decent and varied enough. I really liked the return of the Hunters as well. It was also nice to have a siege defence sequence, a rare treat in a RE game. I would have liked more use of the mine grenades, which made a brief cameo appearance.

    There are a huge amount of complaints going on about the length, but in fact there is pretty much the same amount as RE2 remake. It just doesn't have as much backtracking like in RE2's police station. And the dodge mechanic and plentiful ammo mean you can blast through very quickly, hence the embarrassingly quick speedruns. But that's not how you get the most from the game. Yes, I wish it were longer, but all the classic RE games and their remakes are pretty short.

    There were a few disappointing things. Apart from near the start, and 4 boss battles Nemesis, is limited to Uncharted style scripted chases with collapsing platforms and dodging of rockets. I didn't enjoy them much.

    It's a big shame they cut the clock tower and the graveyard boss. And there is nowhere near enough open exploration of Raccoon City. It's pretty much what you get in the demo. Also the main human antagonist must be the weakest and most forgettable in the series. Wesker he ain't.

    Overall i enjoyed it a lot, it has some great locations and combat, and will play through again on the tougher difficulty levels.
    For non-obsessives of the RE series it might be better to wait for a price drop.    … Expand

    Continuação direta e pra quem reclama do tempo de campanha é pq não jogou o 3 clássico, eu zerava o clássico em menos de duas horas, gostei bastante, Jill ta incrível e só não do 10 pelo nemesis do fim

    in the span of 15 hours i beat the game about 5 times already, coincidentally it's the same amount that average Jill fan beat his meat to semi-erotic fan arts on re3 community page. Seriously, The time it took to publish realistic looking nude mode can only be rivaled by the re3's campaign length. In any case, my only two complains are: 1 - Nemesis changes into dog like creature on 1/3 of the playthrough and i think it's kinda lame, cause it doesn't really impose the same threat in the new form. 2 - infinite rocket launcher is too easy to obtain which nullifies the difficulty on any level.

Sencillamente geniales y que para un título de estas características soy de la opinión de que cuanto mejor se vea, más creíble es y mejor es la experiencia. RE3 Remake cumple con las expectativas.
    Música
    - En el apartado musical y efecto sonoros. Nos encontramos de la misma forma que con los gráficos en un entorno inmersivo, Que nos proporciona esos picos de tensión y esos momentos de calma. Las armas y los zombies también suenan geniales. Todos los elemntos auditivos que se pueden encontrar en el juego contribuyen notablemente a la fluidez del juego, acompañan a la tensión y a la acción de manera simbiótica perfectamente orquestada.

    Multijugador
    - El multijugador es de aquellas cosas que si bien no molesta que estén, tampoco habríamos notado su ausencia. RE Resitance es muy descafeinado. No aporta, faltan personas en el Matchmaking, es poco creíble. En definitiva es un apartado que en mi caso no me ha interesado nada pero tampoco hay ningún elemento que me invite a seguir jugando al multijugador. No es atrayente.
    Duración
    - Es un juego muy corto, de ahí el intento de incluir el multijugador. Al tratarse de un juego de mucha más acción que el 2, con mucho menos componente de exploración y más frenético. Te pasarás la mayor parte del juego corriendo. No quiero decir con esto que por ser un juego corto sea malo. En absoluto es malo si bien es cierto que se siente una vez terminado que falta algo más que apenas te has puesto con él. Entiendo que aumentando el nivel de dificultad aumente la duracción, pero en puzzles y exploración seguirá siendo un juego pobre en este apartado, aunque el original tampoco destacaba por ser un juego largo precisamente.
    Traducción
    - El juego viene doblado completamente al castellano y además está muy bien doblado. Las voces acompañan en todo momento a los personajes y a sus roles. Nada que envidiar a otros doblajes. es un gustado sentirte inmerso en la atmósfera de RE 3 remake en todos los aspectos, incluía tu lengua materna. Jugabilidad

    Excelentisimo remake, una autentica joya que recrea muy bien el videojuego original, añadiendo algunas partes nuevas, pero eso si quitando alguna que otra como el cementerio. Artisticamente y graficamente es una pasada, de lo mejorcito del año, quizas un paso por detras de doom eterna, final fantasy vii remake y persona 5 royale

    I didn't get to play the original game so I'm really glad i was able to play it now.
    I absolutely enjoyed every second playing it. Would highly recommend it to anyone how love horror/action game.

    Hoping for Resident Evil 4 remake maybe??!

    The game is outstanding and is probably the Resident Evil title that benefits the most from a remake. Both Jill and Carlos are fantastic and the dialogue lacks any of the cringe of the RE2 remake (looking at you, Claire). The knife, dodge, and zombie action are all improved over the previous remake. Liked RE2 better? Yo, no one cares. Did you finish the game quickly on an easier difficulty setting? Next time, read (or have someone read for you if you are incapable) and choose the difficulty setting that will match your expectations. Upset about the omission of the clocktower? Uh, that was absolutely the most tedious part of the original release. The story in this game is tight, to the point, and does not include any frivolous exploration that frankly has no place in a story about an outbreak. All of the players that wanted to slowly creep around, get upgrades, and plant a garden or whatever have something wrong with them. If you are influenced by them and their inability to understand that quality always trumps quantity, then there is something wrong with you.

    So don't be a dunce. Buy Resident Evil 3 and have an outstanding time. Hell, play the game on nightmare and inferno modes and have a true S.T.A.R.S. experience. And if you know someone from the church of RE2 remake, wait until the end of the pandemic and throw something messy (but safe!) at them. You'll be doing anyone with an IQ score (any IQ score) a favor.    … Expand

    It was decent if a little short, RE2 was better so it was a bit of a downgrade. Cut content from the OG. The characters were well performed and captured though, all of them. While I was playing it I struggled to put it down so was left craving a bit more, Resistance is alright but it is let down by laggy games almost everytime. The main game is lacking though, especially on costumes

    Well, I must say I liked it very much. It doesn't have the charm of the RE2 but after listening and reading so much criticism I expected the worst... and not at all. It lacks some content to be at same level of RE2, but it keeps the level quite well

Some people complain about that Capcom cut portions of the original some Clock Tower or something, I guess they did but the game is still fun. Not as much puzzles as the previous RE2 but there are a lot of going back and forth looking for keys, it tookI don’t understand the bad reviews. It is a good game.     Un remake muy corto, pareciera de echo que no lo terminaron ya que faltan muchas cosas a demás de algunos detalles que quitaron como los desmembramientos y el sangrado de los enemigos cuando mueren, si solo le hubieran dado un par de años más de desarrollo, creo que hubiera llegado a ser tan bueno como el 2.

    If you don't try to compare this game to the PSX version, you are going to enjoy this game. If you want to see an exact copy of the original game but with new graphics, this game is not for you.

I have playing Resident Evil (RE) games since Resident Evil (PC) in 1997. I prefer the RE Survival Horror games. And this RE3 presents a perfect balance between    AMAZING.

    Very important to have in mind that this is NOT a remake. This is a re-imagination. Besides that, starting the game below Hardcore, speed running and avoiding collectibles will RUIN the experience.

    I am 35 years old. I have playing Resident Evil (RE) games since Resident Evil (PC) in 1997. I prefer the RE Survival Horror games. And this RE3 presents a perfect balance between Survival Horror and Action. Every single second of action has been justified by the plot of the game.

    I did my first play-through on Hardcore. My score was 10 hours and 33 minutes. I played relaxed, in the dark with headphones, exploring the scenario, looking for collectibles (I found the 20 Mr. Charlie, the 56 files, the 10 weapons and its upgrades), and enjoying the survival horror experience. I have been truly amazed by this game, and if you know how to play and, specially, how to enjoy this games, you will have the same feeling.

    Certainly, the game is short. But all RE survival horror games are short. And this game has the average length of a RE survival horror game. I would even say that this RE3 is slightly longer than Resident Evil 3 Nemesis. A game that was planned to be a spin-off of RE2, Code: Veronica was going to be the third game, and only has one campaign.

    And this is important. When people are saying that RE and RE2 are longer, we must remember that booth campaings in RE, Jill and Chris, are exactly the same with a few changes like Rebecca and Barry as secondary character. Besides that, nothing different.

    The same with RE2, besides Sherry and Ada, the game is the same for booth characters. So when we are talking about longer games, we must be fair and see that booth campaigns are 95% identical. So at the end, we are playing in the same scenarios and facing the same enemies and final bosses over and over.

    Once this said, I will start with the review:

    Graphically is stunning. Improved from RE7 and RE2. Probably, the best face animations in video games. Certainly, the gore has been downgraded probably due more assets on screen However this game looks stunning i all aspects

    The sound is PERFECT. Great atmosphere combined with a refined remastered selection from the best pieces of the original game. The sound effects are realistic and the voice acting is accurate.

    The controls are the same from RE7 and RE2. Fun, intuitive and grounded with the addition of the dodge movement. Once this is controlled, a huge need in higher difficulties, the comfort is just maximum.

    Several things have been improved from the original. Better narrative, with a deeper detail on story, characters and its relation among them. The pacing has been increased with remarkable results.

    Probably, from the nostalgic point of view, this game has 2 sins. The first one is Nemesis. The redesign and the new character is better. But certainly has been severely under used. Probably, to avoid the stress and the frustration of those who are playing on easy and super easy difficulties.

    In the other hand, a few locations and enemies have been cut off from the original. Despite the graveyard and the park, where we were less than 5 minutes, I think that the Saint Michael Tower (Clock Tower) and the Grave Digger would be included. Besides the nostalgic factor, would add a few minutes more of gaming experience.

    Nevertheless, new areas have been included and others have been severely expanded. The new NEST 2 and the Hospital are good examples. This also affected to the characters and the story. We have new ones, the existing ones are deeper and allows the player to know better some aspects from Jill, Carlos, Tyrrell, Marvin and Nicholai. This one has been emerged as the new main villain of this new edition of Resident Evil 3.

    In conclusion, Resident Evil 3 is an excellent game that will make happy booth, new and old fans. However, the old fans must have in mind that this is not just a remake, it is a re-imagination. A completely new experience.

    My advice, in special for those who think RE3 is easy and short:

    1. Play the original game before
    2. Play on Hardcore
    3. Relax and enjoy the experience exploring and discovering the secrets.

I played the original and it's not the nostalgia as to why I'm giving 5 stars as the game, even if brand new today is still exceptional! Beautifully put together graphic wise, amazing game play with that good old resi evil horror feel to it. I've seen a lot of complaints as the story line is so short (I've yet toI really dont understand how anyone could give anything less than 5 stars. I played the original and it's not the nostalgia as to why I'm giving 5 stars as the game, even if brand new today is still exceptional! Beautifully put together graphic wise, amazing game play with that good old resi evil horror feel to it. It's so awesome being able to see more of Racoon City compared to RE2 Remake, and Nemesis is such a cool antagonist that's super impressive to not only see but constantly be running from. While the encounters with Nemisis don't have the spontaneous aspect of Mr.X/ Tyrant from RE2 Remake, Nemisis is just soDespite the shorter length, I really enjoyed my time with Resident Evil 3 Remake. It's so awesome being able to see more of Racoon City compared to RE2 Remake, and Nemesis is such a cool antagonist that's super impressive to not only see but constantly be running from. While the encounters with Nemisis don't have the spontaneous aspect of Mr.X/ Tyrant from RE2 Remake, Nemisis is just so much cooler to look at and has more versatile attacks with it's tentacle and ability to use weapons. I completed both RE2 Remake and RE3 Remake in 6.5 hours, but RE2 Remake does have multiple campaigns while RE3 Remake is just the one. It's unfortunate that content like the inner parts of the clock tower were cut, but I still love playing Resident Evil 3 Remake.… Expand

    Yup. It's an AWESOME remake. The cancerous fans of the original RE3, should understand what a REMAKE means. This is not a remaster.... IT.IS.A.REMAKE. So they removed clock tower and some other areas, but they added new areas and expanded some other! I really enjoyed the game from A to Z.

The park and clock tower helped the original RE3 standout because they were unique locations that contrasted the series typical oppressive indoor environments.

    Objectively, this is still a fantastic game though. There is a lot to love here, it's just too bad Capcom cut a few things they shouldn't have because this game easily could have been as good as the RE2 remake or better, but that is a high bar to hit. This is still a very good game and it is a loyal improvement over the original in many ways, just not all of them.    … Expand

    The game is way better than RE2 remake, unlike RE2 difficulty is very balanced in RE3, you couldn't find any ammo (even on standard difficulty) in RE2, MR.X was so annoying in RE2 and would chase you everywhere. But nemesis is very balanced and its only in some specificed locations, gun play is way more better than RE2, graphics are way better than Re2.     Many people rate this game short. I kind of agree, but its not that short! If you play it with pace, it will take you a while to finish it (I finished it in 9h50m). Its a good game, with great graphics. Nemesis isnt as scary as Mr. X, and if we compare this game to RE2R, there is a lack of puzzles here. ThIs game is an action oriented game. Its a good game overall

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Definitely a step back from RE2, the lack of fear and danger it's very noticeable, and the intense moments fades away really fast after the first act.
    Although, they did get a bit lazy with this one, cutting so much content from the original game by making it 4 hours long and not adding any extra content (despite some unlockables that can be used in-game which will probably be enough to keep the replayability fun for while), the game still has it's flavor and enough content to be deserved of a good rating.
    Nemesis, being the most high expectation enemy deliveries it's imposing presence really well in the begining of the game, he doesn't deliver the same fear and frustration that mr. X did, and he's definitely less present, but he's still an awesome and interesting enemy to face until he gets mutated, and that's where the boss fights with him and his character overall becomes really boring and sloppy.
    Despite being a scripted character that unfortunately couldn't beat mr. X's performance, without him the game wouldn't have got the same spirit, but they definitely could have done a better job.
    Anyways, it's awesome, fun, but quite disappoint in some ways, Capcom definitely decided to take a more action routed experience instead of a scary one.    … Expand

    Os haters estão dando 0 pra um jogo muito bom, simplesmente pq não é igual ao que jogaram a 20 anos atrás, e que só é realmente bom na memória deles. Obviamente o jogo não é perfeito, e se eu fosse dar alguma nota real, daria 8.5 ou 9, devido a curta duração do game, mas para compensar os chorões, vou dar 10.

    Gostei muito do jogo, poderia ter retirado o resistance(que ninguém está jogando) e colocado umas 2 horas a mais de gameplay. Com a clock tower, cemiterio, aranhas e mais perseguição do Nemesis. E ao contrario de muitos curti as transformações dele. Ao todo um bom jogo. Capcom esqueça o resistance e solta uns 2 Dlçs bem feitos do modo estoria e tá tudo ok.

    Super fun and high replayability. People feel it’s too short or has too much action but it’s comparable in length to the RE2 campaign (minus playing through basically the same campaign multiple times with a different character with only minor differences) and OG Nemesis was more action oriented too. This game is a perfect bridge between RE2 and RE4.

    Amazing game! Don’t listen to the haters, this is coming from a massive RE3 fan, Capcom struck a perfect balance between remaking a game but giving us so much nostalgia of the original.     Very beautiful main character.The original game has the same time period. It doesn't have a clock tower, but they have more new things, Raccon park has mixed parts like metro, construction zones, sewers, and more. The game doesn't deserve this.

Soundtrack is very well done, much more faithful to the original than the remake of 2. Nemesis, when used is very well done. 2 great chase sequences and 4 epic boss fights. The story is still the same, but told from a more coherent, realistic perspective. Carlos is much more likeable. Nemesis just isn’t used enough though. His appearances are also way too linear. Very disappointing to have the what if’s about what a more open Raccoon City could be like with Nemesis on you as much as Mr. X from 2. But then, if the average gamer complained about him being too difficult. They would likely do the same to Nemesis. Is the game short? Yes, but it’s still longer than the original. About the average length for a game in this series. It has replay ability though. There is a shop section that unlocks after beating the game. You get points by completing bonus challenges. This unlocks include costumes, weapons, and stat boosts that can be applied to further play through of the game. There’s also 2 hidden unlockable difficulty settings that greatly change the gameplay. This makes a total of 5 modes to play through. Capcom was very honest in stating that this wasn’t a frame for frame copy of the original, and I’m glad. I wouldn’t pay 60 dollars for something I’ve already seen and done. The doge mechanic still needs some work, but they can easily improve it in other games as the series goes on. There are some content cuts that don’t make sense. The clock tower should have still been explorable. Barry should still make a cameo in the ending.But what’s there is still very good. These minor things are not valid reasons to immediately right it off as a bad game. That’s just petty if you ask me. It ties better into the main storyline now. Overall, die-hard fans of the series will be able to get lots of enjoyment out of it. The core elements of what makes Resident Evil fun are mostly still there. Given the current state of the world, with everyone stuck indoors 24/7, we should just be grateful we got a decent game to pass the time at all. I honestly think the group of people throwing hate this games way are people who have just become a bit jaded as the years have gone on. It’s undeniable that Resident Evil tends to have a very fickle fan base. No matter how good a game is, they always have something to knit pick and hate it for. I personally feel this was one of the better ones in the series.… Expand

It also takes what is an already linear game (RE3 Nemesis lacked significant backtracking, instead opting for flourishes like item & enemy variation & live decisions) and presents it in a way that is better suited to the story being told.

    What might mark a series first are serviceable and well paced cutscenes that don't impede the visceral interaction of the genre thanks to their direction, writing, acting and brevity. More than any Resident Evil before it they help realise the intended progression, which is to say one long unrelenting chase sequence and one spectacular climax replete with uncomfortably entertaining '80's action heroine quips', fun fleeting character dynamics and a simple, accessible plot i.e destroy the creature.

    Whilst 2's remake was in many ways a tribute, 3's makes a genuine attempt to raise the spectacle and continuity of it's legacy. The original from a gameplay perspective is in fact a great game, despite lacking in coherency and not really fitting into place other than to make a few major contributions to lore. As a sequel, as an end to a trilogy it arguably lacked the necessary framework. The developers very deliberately made an effort to fix this through their unapologetic vision, predictably to the outcome of nostalgic outcries.

    There might be division but make no mistake this is an incredible game and as good as the previous remake, even after multiple playthroughs I'm still looking forward to a lot. It is however built on different choices, with a variety of increasing highly altered difficulties and an in game shop that's respective currency is tied to achievements earned via campaign mastery.

    As of this review, I'm hoping it gets some DLC akin to the previous add ons for Re7 and Re2R but for what it's worth I do believe the main game stands on it's own as a tight, finely tuned romp.    … Expand

    It is a good survival-horror game , with incredible controlls and chessy lines and spectacular graphics. I would definetley recomand this to somone who hasn't played it yet , and loves a good "Poop your pants" adventure.

    Oh and one last thing. If you ever think "Man , Nemesis is so lame. He dosen't even chase me half the game." Then try Inferno mode and I guranate you , you will wish he would stop chasing you. :))    … Expand

Игра не затянута,насыщена экшоном, к слову так же как и оригинал 3 части, очень порадовало что интерфейс остался прежним , как в предыдущем ремейке.     Awesome game, loved it from start to finish. I got the most satisfaction out of playing this with headphones on and lights out. My 1st playthrough took me about 11 hours on hardcore and that's with exploring every nook and cranny this game has to offer, and boy does this game have a lot to offer! Compared to 2 Remake, this one has better pacing, better storytelling, better music and easilyAwesome game, loved it from start to finish.     If you are a fan of the series, ignore any negative reviews. This game continues in the same vein of re2 remake. Not as great as re 2 but then again neither was the original. Well done, great graphics in the city, mechanics are very good. As for it being short, I don’t mind games that actually have an ending.
    Bravo Capcom, bravo Jill Valentine, I Hope Code Veronica is next!!

    This is an excellent game. The gameplay is refined and the campaign flows well. Jill is well voice acted and her character design is great. The nemesis was the highlight of the game and the chase sequences are well made.
    My only criticism is that the game is short and feels more like outstanding DLC than a substantial game.

    After a stellar remake of an arguably the best Resident Evil game ever made, Capcom has let down our expectations by giving us a more scripted, more linear survival horror action game that will probably be forgotten like so many sequels that have gone the path of less resistance when it comes to game design. RE3 make feels more like a DLC than a full-blown game.
