    Boring and lazy game. No dynamic. Realism makes this game worse. Storyline is very long and not interesting, typical for Rockstar.

    The gameplay is immersive with a great story and graphics. The good part pretty much ends here. It has a very linear story in a vast empty world. There are some random events and side quests, but they are meaningless as no matter how much you complete the side quests, it won't have any impact on the game world. It defeats the purpose of an open world RPG game.

    The game is boring and too long it could have been shorter by half. The game world is mostly empty and uninteresting, traveling on horseback takes too much time. The plot is linear and the player has almost no influence on its progress. The main character Arthur Morgan is annoying and complains all the time, hard to like, the other playable character John Marston is simp.

    This is my favourite story-based game I've ever played. It's gut-wrenching, raw, exciting, eerie, and an incredible study of characters.
    It's based around my favourite trope of anything ever; a gang of misfits and outlaws, bounded together by what they seek despite little keeping else them together. Then, even better, the gang's dissolution.

    I can't describe what a genius work if storytelling this game is. The gang, their friendships and relationships, the sense of how much the gang means to Arthur and how much HE means to THEM. The way Dutch and Hosea are the father figures Arthur never had, giving it this whole dimension of it being a dysfunctional, brilliant family.
    Watching the sotyr unfold, watching the gang go from green fields of sunshine to dark, brooding moors, watching them go from hopeful redemption after they fled for their lives and descending further and further into bloodlust and greed for money at absolutely any cost, losing loved ones, losing their minds and their senses.
    Arthur is the perfect protagonist. He watches his gang, his family, fall apart, and he is the young mind who follows because it's what he knows. He sees Dutch get manipulated until his mind warps into something else. He watches his gang fall apart as he loses friend after friend, father after father.
    Arthur is heartfelt, brilliant, funny, caring, and above all, good. He is a joy to play as, during the story or the exploration of his world around him.

    Absolute triumph in gaming, there have been four revolutions in gaming, one was Doom, another was Resident Evil 4 and third was GTA 4 and fourth was Red Dead Redemption 2. All mediocre meaningless open world games that have bunch of empty land, boring characters that give you meaningless quests, like in Horizon Forbidden West, can't get even close to greatness of RDR2 or even GTA 4.

    One of the best games I have ever played. Rockstar has put their heart and soul in this game. I would like to salute the story writers for doing such a commendable job. The world of RDR2 is so lively and there is so much to do in the game. The gameplay mechanics is awesome. My only complaint is not actually with this game but with Rockstar. I played the game on my PS5 console and I missedOne of the best games I have ever played. Rockstar has put their heart and soul in this game. My only complaint is not actually with this game but with Rockstar. I played the game on my PS5 console and I missed the high framerate that is available for PC gamers. Rockstar could provide a high fra patch for this game for current generation consoles. As a whole the game is awesome and if the story is awesome , I would happily play a game at 30 fps.     It is maybe the best game that i have ever played. Rich story, good characters, great open world, tons of stuff to do and the whole atmosphere is just excellent. Even when you play the game for the second or third time you run into new stuff :)
    This review is strictly about the single player mode, it's best to not mention Red Dead Online.

Лол, я игру прошёл на платину, (все достижения игры и прочий контент на 100%) её получать очень долго, но за это время я не заскучал ни на минуту. Лучшая боевка, лучший сюжет, лучшая играИгра с затянутым и длинным, но невероятно интересным сюжетом. Всё проработано до мельчайших деталей.     It all started in 2010 when I first dove into the start of a life long love for the outback western era. Red dead redemption for me is the best game ever made, followed closely by red dead redemption 2. No complaints from me… this game is almost perfect

    An incredible game. Looks outstanding, has great world design, is very easy to get lost in. The visuals are great, the audio is great, the attention to detail is great. Those all really come together to create a world that is alive. The gang camp and interactions was wonderful. The greet/antagonize mechanic adds a lot to the game. There is definitely a lot of things to do and you get a great deal for a 60$ game because while most games deliver much less quantity at much worse quality, you get a huge volume of things to do, and most are fun.

    HOWEVER, I do have a few serious gripes. First, character movement sucks. It is really not possible to be agile and precise in moving Arthur Morgan around. Shooting is very easy, but running and jumping and getting behind cover or jumping is very slow and unenjoyable. Second, the missions are incredibly limiting. You must do everything, exactly as Rockstar wants. You must follow that person, you must keep a defined distance away from that. hide directly behind him, and not run away or shoot or loot in any way Rockstar doesn't think is appropriate. I detest that. Those two things do end up taking away from the general sentiment I have for the game. Plus, the story is a bit overrated. At no point is it really surprising or ground breaking. It's not exactly Tolstoy, and it is really drawn-out I think.

    Anyhow, those are not large enough to take away from the massive positives. A solid 8 or a low 9, for me.    … Expand

From singleplayer to online, it has many side missions and story missions to increase the quality of items and equipment for you, your base and your horse/stable. It can be for relaxing purpose or even for an active shootout. Recommended if there is an jack-of-all trade game.     Red Dead Redemption 2 is the singular greatest game ever made. I know generally that when a person makes such a ludicrous claim like that, I immediately right it off as mindless fanaticism. And, to be frank, that is the case hear. But by God, this game is incredible. The characters are the best written in any piece of fiction I have ever consumed. For your own good, play this game.

    Пример персонаж освижовывает тушу животного и нанего начинает бежать пума или медведь и он ведь не бросит тушу он будет доделывать свои дела пока не получит по ебалу от бегущего на него противника.     Лучшая сюжетная игра с открытым миром. Выглядит потрясающе и атмосферно. Очень быстро погружаешься в этот мир и в роль своего персонажа.     Najlepsza gra w jaką grałem od lat ten świat przedstawiony, genialnie napisane postacie, wciągająca fabuła to wszystko co ta gra posiada rewelacyjnie został przedstawiony ten otwarty świat który wygląda jak z żywca wzięty jak w nią grasz to normalnie czujesz że świat w tej grze żyje.     Never have I been so immersed in a fictional world. Red Dead Redemption II is a masterpiece into which the developers have put immense amounts of effort. It has an emotional story, great characters, a gigantic open world, loads of customisation options, and a lot of side activities and challenges to keep you busy even after the credits have rolled.

    This game is the best one I've ever played. Graphics is fantastic even on PS4 Slim. The open world is really interesting and full of content. The main story is really **** tragic. I've even cried at some final scenes.

    It’s an huge, outstanding piece of art – worth the hard-earned cash as well as countless hours that are needed to get to know at least some of the attractions of Rockstar’s rendition of Wild West. For those who put story first – the biggest virtue of Red Dead Redemption 2 is that it sets the stage for RDR 1 and does it wonderfully. [13/2018, p.40]

    Amazing not only for Western lovers. No other game has probably offered so many options to express yourself in the open world, and at the same time did not have such an interesting, rough and moving story. A magnificent experience, with a slightly slower start. [Issue#291]
