    The best game I played. Ever.

    Main story is gripping, breathtaking and touching, side quest are interesting, map is beautiful, big, living and full of live, every single mechanic is polished and works, graphics are astonishing – as well as audio and level design – and gameplay is sweet and smooth. RDR was the best game in my life till now – now RDR2 took the place of its prequel (or    The best game I played. Ever.

    The story to this game is amazing. Just as good as the 1st game. This game is based before the original game so it doesn't matter if you didn't get the opportunity to play the original from back in the day. How ever the first one is available on PS Now the Playstation streaming service so you can go back and play it if you wish to. I managed to grab a copy in a local store for £15 so I could play through on my Playstation for trophies and I had also completed it on my PC. This game has so much to do and the graphics are outstanding. Even the physics are just amazing. Normally horse riding in games feels basic but this game just gets it near perfect. The characters in this game are so well written and you and they all bring something to the game. I never felt anyone or anything was there for no reason. It makes me sad that Rockstar never release story games anymore as they purely just focus on releasing 1 game with multiplayer and then rinsing it dry. I just wish they would do campaign DLCs like Destiny 2. When they do release a game with a story you cannot deny that they always do it well. The game was also a decent size and packed with main missions and side missions. You also got random other things that you can do along the way. Like sometimes you help random pedestrians and they mite give you a map or intel on a place you can rob for some extra cash. No matter what there is always something you can do. If you are nice to your horse you build up a bond with it allowing you to gain extra skills with it like strafing or sliding. 1 thing that was disappointing is that the city Saint Denise (I think that's the name) was tiny. It didn't feel right because it was all themed and built like a city but it probably had about 10 buildings. It was more like a large town but with a city theme. It just didn't make sense to make it so small when you got such a big open map. You can travel through it in about 15 seconds which is just silly when its supposed to be a city.
    If you haven't played this game then you have to grab it now and play it. I am shocked that this hasn't got a must play badge.    … Expand

    That’s a masterpiece. There is a life in this game. I cannot understand why people find it boring. Though Red Dead Redemption 2 is very long, I finish it and it seems too short so I want more and I miss the characters with their amazing stories. So I love it

    This game is the most detailed game I have ever played. It also has a great story that makes you want to keep playing it. Not to mention the great character development and the AMAZING ending.

    This score is to the almost the story alone. It's one of my favourite games ever but I will probably never play the story again, because it's so long. The story is an amazing one-time experience. Other than the story I really liked the charachters and the enviroment in the game is just amazing.

    Сюжет 9/10 Геймплей немного может надоедать из-за бесконечного катания на лошади, но он безусловно крут 9/10 Графическая состояние прекрасно 10/10 Атмосфера дикого запада отлично выдержана, легко погрузится с головой 10/10    Единственная игра rockstar, в которую мне довелось поиграть.     Single player is near perfect. Red Dead Online shows corporate greed with the currency being nerfed and items more expensive to encourage players to buy micro transactions.

    I can't say i have ever played a prettier game, but i have also never played a more boring game. The controls feels unbelievably bad. The story went too sh*t during the later parts.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. One of the nest games of all time, the only reason its not a 10/10 is its kinda infuriating the amount of time that is just spent on horse back following Dutch to a mission as he gives a general breakdown.
    Best story of all time, a top tier protagonist, Micah and Dutch were amazing as antagonistic characters. All of the characters felt real and live without exception apart from Pearson who I never really felt like was a defined character. I would pay good money to play this game for the first time again. It is easily better than God of War, Last of Us, Spiderman 2018, Detroit Become Human and Skyrim. The last part of Chapter 6 was the best hour of gaming I've ever played. I had never cried to any piece of media but I cried 3 times during this. Once when John and Arthur had that nice "Thank you brother" moment, when Arthur died and after the epilogue when it showed Arthurs grave, I cried more then than I have for years.    … Expand

    'Red Dead Redemption II (2018)' simply is a masterpiece. It might even be better than its predecessor. It's one of the absolute best looking games ever to be released; its huge, varied world is rendered in an impressive, almost photo-real way. It's filled to the brim with life, from birds circling in the sky overhead to fish swimming in the river beneath your feet to strangers stuck by the'Red Dead Redemption II (2018)' simply is a masterpiece. It might even be better than its predecessor. It's one of the absolute best looking games ever to be released; its huge, varied world is rendered in an impressive, almost photo-real way. It's filled to the brim with life, from birds circling in the sky overhead to fish swimming in the river beneath your feet to strangers stuck by the side of the road. The open-world is probably the most detailed and lived-in I've ever experienced. It feels markedly real. That's a good thing, too, considering the amount of time you'll spend traversing it. Riding to and from your main objectives will often take longer than the missions themselves. The lack of comprehensive fast travel means you'll be doing this long after you've seen every beautiful location the map has to offer. Thankfully, then, no two journeys are ever the same. The amount of ways you can interact with the people you meet out in the world is amazing, and the small encounters you directly control are incredibly satisfying to play. They're possibly the best aspects of the game. That's because the main missions, which can often feel restrictive when compared to the free-roaming stuff, are as often utterly thrilling as they are frustratingly slow. The piece has a deliberate pace which unfortunately means that it takes a while to truly get going. However, it very much adds to the overall experience. It's supposed to be long, ebbing and flowing as its seasons and circumstances change. Its extended epilogue does take the wind out of the sails of its ending, but it's arguably vital in achieving the effect the finale is meant to have. Regardless of its issues, the narrative is straight-up phenomenal. It tells an at once personal and sweeping tale, crafting characters that seem so human you could swear they were real. Something that the piece does a phenomenal job with is the development of its side-characters. The people who don't get much play in the cut-scenes can be spoken to around camp, or even taken on small adventures, which is somehow enough for you to form almost as close a connection with them as you do with any other. When one of your companions inevitably dies, it's genuinely heartbreaking. That can be said of the overall thing, too. It's heartbreaking. Yet, it's also exciting, funny, hopeful, tragic, beautiful and, even, poignant. It strikes the perfect balance between sincere and satirical. It's generally more serious than its predecessor and, as such, it's more impactful. Most of the silliness is reserved for its entertaining side-missions, which suits them well. It's often genuinely affecting and it has a strong underlying theme that lives up to its title. The writing is just wonderful. It's consistently good across each and every character you meet. The morality system actually changes some small things about the story, too. For the best result, you should get all of your dastardly doings out of the way to begin with; the most fitting ending, thematically, is the 'high honour' one. The gameplay itself is enjoyable and varied, with satisfying shooting and surprisingly deep mini-games. The animation, which is superb, does sometimes get in the way, causing some slight chunkiness that can be cumbersome to begin with. However, this is easy to adjust to and it simply adds to the overall slower pace of the game. It's a measured affair, never as unrelentingly fast as some of its peers but nearly always more satisfying. In the end, this is an engaging, entertaining and affecting experience. It's a massive, thematically rich ride that stands out as one of the best games of all time. 10/10… Expand

    This game is absolute trash…. To keep it straight and simple; the story is cliche and generic, the characters are unmemorable, the animations are bad and never in sync with voice acting and the most important part, the gameplay, is clunky repetitive and 80% a horse simulator. Do not recommend!

    Лучшая игра которая есть на данный момент, удивительный открытый мир, аналогов которого ещё не будет очень долго, сюжет - настоящая драма с харизматичными и запоминающимися персонажами, к концу игры, каждого члена банды ты знаешь не то что поимённо, а знаешь его характер, убеждения , предысторию. Сюжет волнует и напрягает, не отпуская тебя до самого конца, преподнося новые сюрпризы.Лучшая игра которая есть на данный момент, удивительный открытый мир, аналогов которого ещё не будет очень долго, сюжет - настоящая драма с харизматичными и запоминающимися персонажами, к концу игры, каждого члена банды ты знаешь не то что поимённо, а знаешь его характер, убеждения , предысторию. Сюжет волнует и напрягает, не отпуская тебя до самого конца, преподнося новые сюрпризы. Гемйплей так же на уровне, но я не профессионал чтобы описывать тонкости геймплея, могу лишь сказать что он медлительный и медитативный, но это далеко не минус. Если вас это беспокоит, то проходите мимо этого шедевра и идите дальше играйте в свои говно-сессионки по типу колды и фортнайта.

A real masterpiece (and in last 10 years we need and we don't have real masterpieces). The game has amazing graphic, charter design, amazing sounds, one of the most brillant narrations of the history of gaming.     Whenever random Ambushes happen it's basically instant death, the horse controls are annoying and impossible to get away from enemies, satchel carries only a small handful of stuff, whistling for horse is almost pointless, can only carry one big pelt, and game size and loading times are ridiculous.

    I had so much fun with this game, I played it nonstop until the end and I don't regret it. amazing story, amazing shooting, amazing physics, amazing characters. the only thing I would say needs work is the combat and that's really it! this game is a must play! GO BUY IT!

    У меня не дёрнется палец поставить этой игре меньше 10-ти баллов, даже с учётом мелких багов и проблем, которые там есть. Мне всё равно, что лошадь меня скидывает чаще чем Дядюшка жалуется на люмбаго, я люблю эту игру и не жалею ни единого часа, который я в ней провёл и уж тем более не жалею ни единого потраченного цента! НИЕГО В МИРЕ НЕ ВЫЗЫВАЛО у меня столько чувств, столько мурашек по коже, столько слёз, как Red Dead Redemption II. Даже спустя два года как я первый раз поиграл в эту игру, эмоции всё те же.

    В этой игре отлично проработана связь с персонажами, что ты как будто не играешь в игру, а как будто ты сам и есть Артур Морган, как будто когда ты играешь, ты становишься им.
    Изначально Моргана я считал грустным, унылым, безэмоциональным, а в итоге этот персонаж стал мне родным, я переживал за него как за себя. Миссия рейда на особняк Брейтуэйтов навсегда оставила мне воспоминания о том, как меня трясло от ЭПИЧНОСТИ и кинематографичности поставленных сцен. Даже сейчас, в момент как я пишу, мурашки идут по моему телу от воспоминаний. Сколько вздохов было сделано и сколько слёз было пролито в последние часы игры. Я не могу подобрать человеческих слов чтобы полноценно выразить мой восторг.
    В это надо играть, в это надо погружаться самому. Так что если вы до сих пор не прикасались к RDRII, прямо сейчас купите её где-нибудь и идите играть, даже если вы не любите вестерны и не интересуетесь сеттингом этой игры. Вас будет брать совсем не это.    … Expand

    افضل لعبة بالتاريخ قصة اسطورية شخصيات ممتازه نهاية خرافية وجرافيكس اسطوري سابق جيله ومناظر رائعة وواقعيه مشكلتها المسافات وحجم الخريطه الكبير مع طرق التنقل وواقعية بزياده لدرجة تمل منها وقيم بلاي عادي.

While at its core it is a beautifully crafted and engaging experience the moment to moment gameplay within had me constantly asking the question am I having fun, and for the most part I was but not always....

    Story - RDR2's story follows that of Arthur Morgan, surrogate Big Bro to John Marston and Dutch Vanderlin's bff. It chronicles the fall of the Vanderlin gang and how event of RDR's opening came into being. This is mostly told through story missions and cinematics, which for all intensive purposes are pretty good. A lot of missions in this game kept me engaged or interested in the plot and goings on of the gang members. This worked... for a while. Where in beginning you just happen to be on the horse one more time, experiencing the life of an outlaw at around the half way to 2/3s mark the event of the game begin feel like they're repeating themselves up until the climactic ending sequence. Then you play epilogue. Ultimately the story of RDR2 is a wonderful slough which you will be happy to to be finished by the end, but when its finally over you can't help but miss it.

    Gameplay - The beauty and flaw of RDR2's gameplay is in those moments between the big set piece shoot outs and the cutscenes. Its doing the little things in the game like harassing people on the street and hearing their response, or running into highways thugs and taking them out or just going fishing. While the gunplay and big story arch's are still enjoyable its the little bits and baubles that really tie it all together and keep you going. Just riding around I found myself asking question like should I save the lady being kidnapped on horse back or I wonder what this strange man in the park is calling me over for. Little moment like that make up the highlights reel for the game while its the big set piece to set piece story mission had me feeling bogged down when they popped up. These little moment are where it feel like the devs were able to actually have fun and experiment with what possible in this world of satire and sadism.

    While not a masterpiece, this game is no where near unplayable. At times being boring and repetitive and other engaging and visceral, the little moment that stick with you really show you why Rockstar is still considered one of the top game development studios to date, but also why they need to shake up their formula and get comfortable going outside the box more often then not.

    This game is probably my favourite game of all time. It's just brilliant. Its story is excellent coupled with great characters who have strong writing attached to them. It's also a technical marvel with its incredible open world that feels alive and dynamic. Overall, this is an experience I won't ever forget.

At the end of the game when you finally kill micah is the best feeling ever and before in the main story when Arthur dies it really hits you. The multi-player isn't as good but still great. Only problem I have with this game is how much dlc and extra content the devs are putting out. There not even updating the game… Expand

    This is my favourite solo game of all time. I don't remember the last time I didn't want to stop playing a game that wasn't multiplayer but this did it. The NPCs literally have their own day and night cycles. The interactions throughout the world just cannot be described. The story and the music are perfect. I am not a fan of the online but I am not leaving this with my review score.

    This game has great graphic, and amazing story and side activity and you'll definitely won't regret it. Even tho when you're just riding the horse you can still enjoy the world, The world is so well-built you'll be surprised and the details in this game are so good. The NPCs and the world feels so alive in this game compared to other games. Would recommend but you need to play for yourself.

    Just finished Rockstars latest masterpiece for the second time on PS5. As I used the words masterpiece, everything from the story, characters, and technical side of this game is top-notch. Rockstar still is the best video game developer which they are rocking for more than 20 years. Can't wait for their next titles.

    Arthur, John and Dutch are just great characters. I like the open world and the combat is also good. My only issue with this games is that it feels like a walking simulator at times.

    I'm surprised Red Dead Redemption 2 hasn't won an oscar for it's storytelling and it's acting. The world is dense with content and it feels like no inch of it is wasted. The best story ever told in video game format, without a doubt.

When i first booted up this game, i was shocked to see graphics like that in 2018, PC version looks even better.     Possibly one of the most detailed video games ever made, i'm really hyped for GTA 6, because Rockstar (actual Rockstar, not their outsourced studios) knows what they are doing. They have always been one of the best in gaming and i have extremely high hopes for their next projects!
