    This game is first of all beautiful the most beautiful game i have played and the story just cant get any better its just the best story No spoilers btw but the story of the main character Arthur Morgan is emotional suspenseful and overall 100 percent one of the number 1 games i have played if you haven't played it your living under a rock

Cuando salió en 2018 nadie se podría imaginar que se pudiera conseguir algo así, pero gracias al inmenso trabajo de "Rockstar Games", 8 años después de la primera entrega vimos en escena este portento.
    Es sublime en muchos aspectos. Para empezar, lo que más llamará la atención a muchos es el apartado gráfico. Y es que la calidad gráfica, incluso en PS4 es sublime, una texturas fantásticas, unos modelados casi perfectos, rostros de personajes super detallados... Lo más espectacular de este apartado técnico-visual es la iluminación. La iluminación y las sombras son sublimes, desde el foco principal (el sol) hasta los secundarios (fuego, farolas...) desprenden una iluminación casi realista. La vegetación es otro punto fuerte, con una sensibilidad con el personaje increíble (desde la hierba hasta los arbustos).
    La trama principal es gigantesca. La historia principal en mi opinión es bastante compleja y reconozco que alguien con un nivel de inglés bajo aunque haya subtítulos, debe ser complicado seguirla (estilo de "Rockstar", no se puede criticar). Aún así la trama es fabulosa, repleta de personajes super elaborados, cada uno de ellos con su historia personal pasada y futura por contar.
    Arthur Morgan es el protagonista, un miembro de una banda de forajidos, dirigida por el ya anteriormente conocido Dutch Van Der Line y otros personajes también conocidos (conocidos por la primera entrega). Lo cierto es que para 1899 el salvaje oeste ya no es tan salvaje y el progreso y la tradición empezarán a chocar. Así es como la banda de Dutch luchará por sobrevivir en los Estados Unidos e intentarán buscar una oportunidad de huir de allí (a Tahití según Dutch, que hay mangos xd). Lo cierto es que la trama dará muchas vueltas, la banda se asentará en diferentes lugares a lo largo de la trama y Arthur y sus compañeros empezarán a rivalizarse unos de otros, dividiéndose en dos grupos (El de Dutch y el de Arthur Morgan). Esto acarreará un final trágico pero al mismo tiempo de esperanza.
    Es un videojuego tan inmenso, lleno de detalles increíbles (como las animaciones del caballo, la personalización de Arthur, la caza , los diferentes animales y peces...) que se tardarían días en contarlos todos. Lo cierto es que el juego toma un realismo abrumador a causa de todos ellos y esto hace que sea un videojuego de referencia para otras empresas que poco a poco han ido copiando elementos de esta gran aventura acontecida en el ocaso del Oeste Americano.    … Expand

    This games start's very slow and i't allmost walking simulatror first 4 hours but when they let you in open world the game becomes masterpiece.

    Lets take everything one by one.The story of RDR2 is very nice.It have its fun, heartbreaking and serious scenes. They bind those 3 elements very smoothly and nice as it should be. Every character have a unique personality.We have the betrayal guy, the funny guy, the idiot guy, the serious guy, menacing guy and more. That makes the story even more interesting and not makes you bore. TheLets take everything one by one.The story of RDR2 is very nice.It have its fun, heartbreaking and serious scenes. They bind those 3 elements very smoothly and nice as it should be. The map is big but not big as ubisoft games (thank god).You pass every season and of course you can see the details in the graphics like the winter season, your character interaction with snow like step in snow (these details), the skining of an animal, and more. The VO is extremly good. People giving their voices to the characters sure they did a great job. Music/sound splending and binding with the territories very nicely. Now for the part of aim as people mention. I dont know if they refer to online or story game. In story of course you have something like aim assist to help you but in online mode no you dont.     Uno de los juegos de la historia sin ningún tipo de duda. Creo que es el juego con mejor historia y narrativa que he jugado, me ha gustado tanto que me gustaría olvidar su historia y volverlo a jugar. Una obra maestra y el mejor juego de Rockstar hasta la fecha. En el apartado técnico es un portento y el mundo es tan inmersivo como detallado. Quizá no tiene mecánicas muy innovadorasUno de los juegos de la historia sin ningún tipo de duda.     Just got the game for my PS4, Im 2 years late but this game is so perfect it is worth your time playing it even if you are playing it just for the story you got a long way ahead of you. The character development and the plot is really interesting and will keep you in playing for hours. Definetly a worth one

    A true masterpiece. The game has so much content to offer, that even the second walkthrough feels like a new game. It's 2018 graphics and animations still look way better than what many other studios can offer in 2020. The story, the details, the open world are incredible. It is like a great movie, that you watch over and over through years.

    This game is outstanding.... by far the best I've played! The world Rockstar has created blow my mind away, with the attention to detail, great voice acting, dynamic world and real 'cowboy western' feel. RDR2 is brilliant!

    Hands down the best story, and graphics I have ever experienced. The graphics are gorgeous and can carry it's own against entry-level PC's. The story is rich and engaging and took me months to complete, but I didn't find that to be a problem. Whether I'm hunting for legendary Elk in the mountains, or taking out bandits in the desert I'm always having a blast. Do yourself a favor and playHands down the best story, and graphics I have ever experienced. The graphics are gorgeous and can carry it's own against entry-level PC's. The story is rich and engaging and took me months to complete, but I didn't find that to be a problem. Whether I'm hunting for legendary Elk in the mountains, or taking out bandits in the desert I'm always having a blast. Do yourself a favor and play it. You will not regret it.     Even though the game is not perfect (no game really is), i give it a 10.

    Rockstar Games not only created a new video game, they created art. The best storyline and best graphics as of 2020. The game is long, but not boring. The only part which might seem too slow paced is the prologue. Combat is decent, animations amazing, like in every Rockstar game after GTA IV.

This game is simply stunning, the story is a dark but fascinating look into what it was like to be a cowboy back in the day. The game goes into crazy detail into literally every aspect. Some people may findI rarely give a score of 10/10 to games but simply put this game is a masterpiece in every aspect. This game is shows exactly why Rockstar games are the kings of the open world genre. This game is simply stunning, the story is a dark but fascinating look into what it was like to be a cowboy back in the day. The game goes into crazy detail into literally every aspect. Some people may find the slow animations to be frustrating but I feel these are the reason the game is so immersive. People like to compare red dead redemption to GTA but I feel that is doing this series a misjustice. Yes they both have the same mission structure etc but rdr has always been Rockstars way of getting out a series and moving story. GTA is more of a comedy game where rdr feels like a Hollywood movie. This game moved me in a way I have never felt in gaming or watching a movie and for that it shows that Rockstar are not slowing down and continue to make the masterpieces people expect from Rockstar games. I truly cannot wait to see what Rockstar deliver next and all I can say is I bet it's going to be another masterpiece. If you still haven't played this game in 2021 what are you doing? go buy it and see for yourself why this game is one of the greatest pieces of art of all time.     The plot is fun, very sad and shocking. Characters are **** great. Open world is awesome and it’s not dead. It’s always interesting to watch at some random events that are happening in the game. Also the theatre in Saint Dennis is very fun and interesting to watch. The gameplay is fine

    I was hooked from the first moment, and amazing cinematic experience, very nice graphics and very very very good story that makes it so easy to connect with the world of the game, I loved the gameplay which isn't anything new but very well executed, and I love the music and how they structured the quests.     I HATED this game at first! I came late to the party and found the controls to be challenging at first, and I hated Dutch shouting 'what are you doing Arthur' at me. HOW WRONG I WAS! I left it for a year, played loads of other games and returned to experience one of the best games I've ever played....simply FANTASTIC! The attention to detail is incredible, the storyline is so engaging,I HATED this game at first! From time to time magical bounty hunters who seem to have cell phones and the ability to teleport always find you. Odds are they will kill you because the shooting mechanics in this game are very weak. Thats par for the course with Rock Star games. Robbing a train in single player outside of a mission is rather pointless. Once you dispatch all the guards on the train who are immediately alerted to your activities, the train comes to a screeching halt. This happens without fail and more law men appear out of no where and they will continue to do so. Sure you can try and rob a train, but it will end up costing you so much more in the long run.

    Truthfully this game wants you to just play the story missions. Hunting is a complete waste of time and you make so little money doing it, that its not worth doing at all. The game is at its best when you stick to the story. The map size is not the biggest they have ever made. Sure it takes forever to get anywhere and fast travel isn't really a thing. Sure you can hop on a train or take a stage coach, but the stage coach wont take you if you have a bounty.

    The game only holds an sense of realism onto the player. The world and all the NPCs in it seem to be able to do whatever they like without consequence. Stop a murder by killing someone and you will likely be reported for murder. The game doesn't want you to be an outlaw although your character is and if you try to be one it will punish you.

    Honestly for all the hype this game is a huge disappointment and missed the mark. It isn't even close to being as good a game as GTA V. I commend them for trying, but it is truly limited by the time period. Whats really disappointing is they didn't really improve upon Red Dead Redemption. I would dare say that game was better than this one.

    Also at the time of this writing there is no multiplayer. Even when it comes out there won't be much to do. This game will be forgotten in no time because it just isn't that fun. They tried to put fun things in it, but it isn't enough to make it enjoyable. For instance you can put a mask on your character when committing crimes. Despite this everyone knows who you are immediately, no matter what. Makes me wonder why this mechanic is even in the game. Seems to me it was just a story mechanic.

    I would say either don't buy the game or wait for a sale. Also play it with a pillow near by because its a snooze fest. If you have anger issues avoid this game as it will make you want to punch anything around you.    … Expand

    The game is excellent, although not without flaws.
    I'll start with good, great graphics and optimization, but for my taste - a cool plot, albeit a little long. The most important thing is just a great open world, I just get tired of describing everything, I probably don't even know everything. Of the minuses, I can mention the police system and swimming. 10/10

    Its a masterpiece. No debate. The sometimes slow Gameplay makes it more grounded in my opinion. The Voice acting is amazing. The Story is great. rockstars best game. One of the best alltime.

At times I could not believe I was playing this on PS4, the graphics are just absolutely beautiful and always seemed to play at a stable 30 FPS which is fine for me as a console gamer. The characters were also outstanding & I was truly blown away by the story which does pullI loved Red Dead Redemption 1 & had very high expectations for the sequel. Safe to say Rockstar did not disappoint. At times I could not believe I was playing this on PS4, the graphics are just absolutely beautiful and always seemed to play at a stable 30 FPS which is fine for me as a console gamer. I also really appreciate the choice between 1st person & 3rd person, I actually played through this twice using the different camera’s once I realised there were multiple endings.     Actual masterpiece. Everything is awesome, physics, story, characters, graphics, EVERYTHING is perfect. It's scary how perfect this game is. This sets a standard for gaming, don't listen to the reviews complaining about online. Focus on the main course. It's disappointing seeing people vote RDR2 down only because of online. It doesn't affect them whatsoever.

    just an incredible world, an amazing storyline, and the atmosphere of the wild west! it is an incredible feeling of the first launch! only loading from HDD disappointed - but this is no longer the game's fault.
    the game looks more than worthy on next-generation consoles, and if you haven't tried it yet, be sure to add it to your list!

    It wasnt the first try that i enjoyed and not abandoned the game at the first chapter. Not even the second one or the third one. But eventually i start loving it and love it much for sure, no long descriptions - just 10/10

    Absolutely masterpiece, can write thousand of paper pages how this game or even how this experience is something special, thanks Rockstar for opportunity to spend hundred hours in RDR2. #1 on my list. They should force people in middle schools or high schools to play story mode and have exams from it.

RDR2 has changed me completely as a gamer, as a person, one who appreciates art, an "Aesthetes".     It’s an huge, outstanding piece of art – worth the hard-earned cash as well as countless hours that are needed to get to know at least some of the attractions of Rockstar’s rendition of Wild West.
