Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville

I personally miss the subclasses from Part 2.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighbourville is a stellar dive into hero shooter waters for PopCap. With its great level design, great multiplayer and ton of content, it overcomes some of its flaws like lack of campaign and is sure to give tons of hours of PvE and PvP fun.

Outside of the server issues, I’ve certainly enjoyed my time spent with Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. It’s a solid follow-up to a unique shooter series that I don’t think gets enough attention, and if you haven’t given this series a shot yet, this would certainly be a good jumping on point. It’s a nice alternative to the more serious multiplayer shooters out there and even serves up a solid alternative to more like-minded games like Overwatch. You may want to give it a little time to iron out some flaws here and there, but definitely check it out when you get a chance.

With the many unique classes, the art style, humor and polish put forth by PopCap, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville all culminates into a great time. You’ll lose hours blasting pesky plants or ridiculous zombies as your favorite characters. While it’s the third entry in the series, it still manages to stay fresh enough to welcome returning veterans and new players alike. If you’re into quirky shooters with a sense of humor, this is the best time to jump in and see what Crazy Dave is all about.

When it comes to versus-multiplayer and horde this comic-shooter is yet again great fun. The vast quest areas with AI opponents feel lackluster.

Oozing with things to do and inventive classes to do them with, it elevates the act of shooting plants and zombies to fresh heights. [Issue#169, p.97]

Server issues aside and even though is does not expand on the gameplay we saw in the Garden Warfare series, Battle for Neighborville is a pleasant surprise, a nicely crafted and humorous shooter that is ideal for co-op and multiplayer sessions with your friends.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville embraces all of the charm and fun of its predecessors, but manages to up the ante with a lot of new and updated features.

Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborville is a strong foundation and PopCap seems determined to provide updates and events to give fans of the franchise a place to call home.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a good third-person shooter and a great Plants vs. Zombies title. The series continues to trust in its own style but seems too comfortable and conservative with this game which, on the other hand, comes with a lot of content for players to enjoy for hours.

Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborville is a beautiful title. We have fun online with different modes of play. Teamplay is important but playing alone s not be the key to success. A time of adaptation is required to master the game and its gameplay. There are a lot of things to do in the game and the title takes on a more significant scale when played with friends. A good surprise in short.

If you’re looking for a fun, colourful team shooter with plenty to see and do, Battle for Neighborville could be just the ticket. If you weren’t swayed by the prior Garden Warfare titles, you’ll likely want to pass on this, but for the sheer silliness of its characters and the world they exist in, it’s well worth sinking your teeth (or vines) into. You may never want to leave Neighborville.

It’s not going to convert anyone who didn’t enjoy the previous titles but for those seeking a hectic and family friendly take on the online shooter genre, there’s a lot to like here.

Considered that "Variants" has been completely taken away, and "Abilities" are simplified, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville definitely failed some expectations, but now it is more rookie-friendly. We can still have tons of fun within, thanks to the new characters and maps.

Its PvE campaign may be a bit of a wash despite the Looney tunes approach, but if you’re looking for some addictive multiplayer action that hasn’t changed too much between instalments, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is still a chaotic start to the day that is packed full of vitamin C for crazy.

Battle for Neighborville doesn't go out of its way to surpass expectations, but it's a silly, strange, joyful game – one I'm glad was greenlit.

As a third iteration of this shooter shooter, however, Battle for Neighborville expresses itself in a very similar way to its predecessors, deviating very little in terms of offer and gameplay. We are talking, however, about a very enjoyable game, with an apt progression that will keep you busy for a long time, especially considering the updates that will come in the future.

Online shooters don't get much more charming than Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. So, if you want a simple game to wind down with for a few hours then you won't regret giving it a try but just keep its downsides in mind before taking the plunge.

Garden Warfare 3 in all but name, but while it’s not an emphatic improvement on the previous games it’s still a highly enjoyable, family friendly online shooter.

On one hand, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a mild upgrade from Garden Warfare 2. On the other, it adds a whole new adventure mode which is a ton of fun with a friend in local co-op or online with a group. Don't let the cute presentation and jolly vibes fool you: Battle for Neighborville is just as intricate and intense as any of the more "mature" games on the market.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville may have a few technical hiccups and design missteps, but it remains a fun, cheerful shooter that’s engaging for players of all ages.
