    For as much I may enjoy the gameplay and story, I can’t deny that all the issues I encountered really marred my experience with Deadfire.

    On the one hand, the sheer quality of the game is evident in bounds, and as a homage to the mighty Baldur's Gate, it continues on the excellent trajectory set down by its predecessor. On the other hand, those loading times really are so bad that I neither enjoy my time with the game, nor want to play it. Of course, a patch could resolve that and then the main criticism of the review would be rendered redundant. Sadly, I do need to review what's placed in front of me, and you're all better off playing Baldur's Gate again than slogging through this in its current state.

    Ok, First of all i would like to say Pillars of Eternity 2 Deadfire is the great rpg game, but this port is just unplayable!

    its always CE-34878-0 crash error. Most often it happens then you are at fight. Im playin in turn based mode. (dont khow how it works in real time option)
    i did reinstall the game, then i reinstall it to external hard drive, and then i made initialization for my ps4 pro deliting all data, but nothing helps! I've got no problems with other games.
    In Obsidian forum guys have the same problems and many more
    So many quests incompliteble becouse of it
    I just dont want to tell about the longest loading screans in my life
    Dont buy this broken piece of crap till it will be patched.    … Full Review »

    Just constant crashing, same as Versus Evils other releases, like the POE on switch release. Please stop using them Obsidian

    Unplayable since launch. After a patch there are still multiple problems such as lag during combat, unresponsive characters, characters movingUnplayable since launch. After a patch there are still multiple problems such as lag during combat, unresponsive characters, characters moving elsewhere other than to place commanded during combat, menu issues, incredibly long (over 2 mins at times) loading screens which can reduce playing time to 10s at a time...
