cheap cash grab i can not understand how anyone can score this 10 even if you love persona 5.

Graphics=2 game at times looks worse than some psp titles from 2005 insane aliasing ugly low poly character models very low level stuff constant loading times for whatever reason. most low budget indies look better at 1/3 the price. Story=6 below average, saved by good voice acting. all

Story=6 below average, saved by good voice acting. all the character development was done in pesona 5 this adds nothing. Characters do love to go on tangents and repeat themselves over and over, like someone tells you to go somewhere then everyone in the group needs to tell you that exact same thing like if you cant read or hear the other characters. Everyone needs to flap their gums about the slightest thing like a button in a dungeon In case you missed the radar pointing to it and the thick Glowing red outline strobe on the object. They almost never add anything to conversation but more text, This is what someone without friends would imagine conversations go cringe at best. This comes from someone that has played almost every released jrpg since the snes days so i am used to dialog

Combat=1 This has to be some of the worst action combat ever made in a game released in 2020 is beaten by games like Devil may cry/brave fencer mushashi released on the ps1 in 2001 and 100 more the last 20 years is embarrassing.

If you like this style of games go play Tokyo xandu instead..

sort of disappointed in this game after all the hype that surrounded it. there seemed to be no development of the characters, they were still talking about the same things that troubled them in p5, the story was not very impactful, and battling looked messy and hard to follow at times. it is a very slimmed down persona game, and as a sequel i expected more. it is more spin off than fullsort of disappointed in this game after all the hype that surrounded it. there seemed to be no development of the characters, they were still talking about the same things that troubled them in p5, the story was not very impactful, and battling looked messy and hard to follow at times. it is a very slimmed down persona game, and as a sequel i expected more. it is more spin off than full fledged sequel. this also does not follow royal, which i learned later. And a minor thing, sometimes, i could not hear the dialogue spoken in fights, but i think that could be an issue related to covid, so maybe they could patch it Expand

What a disappointment after that much hype, this game is just boring AF, battle system its lot worse than P5 and P5R, making it a brainless button smasher. The story is boring, too much text to say nothing. I cant recommend it to anyone, but specially if you are a persona or SMT fan don't buy this.

The only thing this game has going for it is the music really. Very unpolished gameplay and a lack of cohesive story makes this a not so fun experience if you came from Persona 5.

Waste of time, effort and money. Completely messes with the canon and hardly takes Persona 5's story into consideration. Shame on you if you call yourself a fan of the series and enjoy this poor excuse for a game.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A very poor excuse for a "sequel" let me tell you, the story is absolutely pointless. The ending is one of those Sonic 06 reset everything endings so nothing even matters! Overall a waste of time and slap in the face to any Persona fans. I am highly disappointed with this game, and regret pre-ordering it. Expand

It's sad to see how they've completely shredded and destroyed Persona 5. The combat system is so terribad I don't even know how to describe it. You get hammerd with tutorial upon tutorial about how the combat works. El sistema de combate es una basura, por no hablar del motor grafico que hace aguas por todas partes con ese tremendo popping. En fin un producto mediocre que bajo mi punto de vista solo se aprovecha del hype de la serie y de los fanboys que tragan con todo.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. well, to be frank, this game is a low budget spin off disguised as sequel which people over hyped way too much. Outside of watching the team feast and have yet another beach day, nothing truly exciting happens, and the monarchs are nothing to get the blood pumping like how I felt about some palace owners in P5. Some of the dialogue between the cast is fun, but I feel too sour over what could have been to really care. It looks much lower quality than P5 and Royal, which is a huge shame. And whilst some of the music remixes of the original P5 songs can be strong, most of the original Strikers music here falls flat. The story is forgettable and has left no impact or want to see more of it, though Sophia was fun she is all but written off in the end and I doubt she'll be relevant outside of DLC, which is upsetting after finishing Royal just a few weeks prior to playing this and loving its characters and story so much. Not to mention the roster is tiny, there is no DLC for more characters to appear either, some playable and persona using P5 characters don't even appear despite how brilliant they would have been, and no previous persona characters either, which is a let down for a game by KT. There is also no reason to NG+ this game, so after paying full price for a lesser-full, weak-feeling game which took a third of my time compared to the original, there is nothing about Strikers that fulfills the desires for the sequel I felt promised by the fans and company hype Expand

An excruciating pile of **** something to be expected considering that development of a complex game sequel with lots of symbolism was given to a pathetic developer known for mediocre at best games like Nioh.

Forces you to cook / be responsible for the death of animals at one point during the game. You can not continue otherwise. The original persona 5 had vegetarian friendly options in restaurants. Why add veggie options to a game, then make an expansion, and then force everyone playing that expansion to do something non vegetarian / vegan.

They removed the romance options and yet this was supposed to be like persona 5
the game wasn't interesting how it was in persona 5 this is why it deserves a 0 out of 10 rating

Oh look, another Atlus cash grab!! Since when do Personas have stupid sequels that don't even carry the same gameplay over?

Absolutely avoid for this practice, the game isn't even fun, it's just a generic musou style that only sells because people can't get over Persona 5.

A lot of the level design is terrible, battles are too easy, until bosses which are something from souls games and suck. items suck, there's 200 million that all do the same thing, bloating your inventory it'll take 100 years to find the right one. Kyoto will filter some people probably. Let me tell you this game is harder than necessary just on normal too, and optimization and difficulty are all over the darn place. There's times you'll be having fun just for something dumb and repetitive or just unfair to completely ruin your day and make you want to quit. easily the worst of the entire series, no one would like this if it didn't have Persona 5 slapped onto it. Gameplay finde ich ganz ok.
Die Story ist unfassbar langweilig und wiederholt sich nur.
    Für mich eine riesige Enttäuschung.

Combat is designed to start only after encounter, which is very disruptive to the rhythm and fun.

I really loved Persona 5, so I was very interested in trying this game out. It has unfortunately left me very disappointed however. I love the music, but it is so obnoxiously loud, that I can barely hear the characters. There is no way to turn it down, which was shocking. The game is unplayable. It's a shame because it really looked interesting.

Omega Force’s crossover between Persona and the Warriors series is a breath of fresh air for both franchises. It’s not a revelation by any means and not a great sequel to Persona 5 in terms of the story, but despite rather uninteresting content in between missions and the scantiness of additional activities, it’s a good, varied game that’s simply enjoyable. Regardless of the issues I had, Persona 5 Strikers is still a fantastic sequel, Persona game, and Musou game. It really is impressive the amount of content they jammed into this game, and the fact that they added way more to the mechanics than I thought they would was a great breath of fresh air. Musou fans will get a ton of enjoyment out of this title and fans of Persona 5 have their sequel that is most certainly worthy of the title.

Sadly, Persona 5 Strikers has some value only for the fans of original Persona 5. For others it will prove to be an odd mix of a dull visual novel with a pretty average musou game. [Issue#252, p.56]
