Playing "story mode" was fun and challenging all the while you earning exclusive items for doing certain challenges/tasks that help to alleviate stress and reduce time between each stage. Each stage is procdurly generated so you never get the same stage twice. Items used in level are clever and well implemented that never comes across as either totally useless/overpowered.
Out of Space strikes a fine line that delicately balances planning and pressure. Many times while playing with friends we had to organise or assign roles to each crew mate on what they were going to do (ie. clean the floors, grind up the aliens, deploy the wash buckets) which led to some very tense moments as the game can flip on you like a dime if you're not quick and careful enough. If a room is out of reach and an alien cyst leaks in another room and mages to take down on of your allies, it can throw the whole strategy out the window resulting you to improvise, fast.

Each week has 3 different mutations/rules to a game like eating makes you sleepy and sleeping makes you hungry. My only real complaints of the game is lack of content and item detection could be streamlined a bit more. Many times have I wanted to pick up and item but somehow result in picking up something else which is annoying when you're under pressure. But overall great game.… Expand
