    Octopath Traveler 2 is an overall upgrade of it's previous game, the artstyle and graphics look even better, the new mechanics are simple butOctopath Traveler 2 is an overall upgrade of it's previous game, the artstyle and graphics look even better, the new mechanics are simple but well implemented, that help to make the battles more entertaining, the story of each character is engaging enough to make you want to know more of them, and the cross stories improves the main problem of OT1, the relationship between characters.
    On the other side, we have some flaws that makes the game to not be perfect, the main jobs are the same as the previous game, the random battles can be annoying at some points, and although cross stories are a good addition, it isn't enough to fully fix the problem of relationships between characters

    I got the PS5 version but writing this to offset the clear ratings bomb that has happened here.

    jrpgs are what i love. I loved octopath 1. But the improved combat (its almost the same except a few things. Im not spoiling)

    More voice acting. The english dub is actually good. The characters in this game have super amazing stories. The new advanced jobs...are interesting. And i just cannot wait to finish the last 4 stories and do the end game. I love thr difficulty spike of bosses once you get to like chapter 3 or so. It makes me rage. But its also the challenge i love of this type of game. I highly suggest it to anyone that likes turn based jrpgs
