Aug 26, 2020The spectacular soundtrack and visual design immediately sold me on this game. The actual gameplay isn't anything really revolutionary, but the music and visuals elevate it and make it all worth it.
-
Sep 1, 2020Solid debut game from Metronomik. The game combines great music and unique rhythm-based action/beat 'em up, coupled with sweet-looking visual design that looks like love-child of Jet Set Radio and Music Album Cover. My only wish is the game to have longer story.

Sep 7, 2020fun, vibrant, and unique. the game is has very charming characters and seeing them interact makes me happy
-
Sep 6, 2020This is a unique and enjoyable game experience. The Bosses in this game have character and brightness that is rarely seen in modern games today. The music takes center stage as both a background and tool for combat.

Aug 29, 2020No straight road is fun game, the story is ok and soundtrack are really good.

Aug 29, 2020I don’t play small games like this often. Finding games like no straight roads is a true treat. With its amazing soundtrack and old school like boss fights I fell in love. It was almost nostalgic

Sep 4, 2020Good music, decent story and above average art but EXTREMELY poor execution on the gameplay. At the time of writing, this game is just not worth the selling price what with the ridiculous bugs, bad game design and rough gameplay.

Aug 30, 2020I can´t place any mistakes that can make this game less than a 9. So many soul put into it. Really fun experience, REALLY great music. Everything feels alive and character design is WONDERFUL. Visually incredible. Bosses are interesting and fun to beat. Nice patterns to learn different on each one.
Had a blast playing this. Totally recomended -
Aug 29, 2020No straight roads is Metronomik’s first game. As a starting point it is perfect. This game has lots of humor, interesting boss fights and very good story. But the best parts of the game are soundtrack and art style. Game’s music is simply one of the best that I heard in video games and artstyle is unique and beautiful. Metronomik surely done a great job.

Sep 2, 2020The game is really unique in both its game play and music. The couch coop is so much fun! I listen to the music while I work!

Nov 17, 2020Lovely combining of Music and gameplay, I loved it so much that I played it straight from start to finish In one sitting , Gameplay was mediocre but the presentation and the experience make-up forward , My favourite boss Fight was Number 2 and I'm still listening to the music , Would recommend

Jun 8, 2023Interesting idea. Terrible execution. Boring game, slog to play through. You keep wanting it to end.
-
Dec 18, 2020The game has some awesome visuals and art direction, the music is great and the overall concept of No Straight Roads is a neat idea, but the poor gameplay, awful storytelling, countless amounts of bugs and disappointing world building overall led to a mediocre gaming experience that I would find hard to recommend.

Sep 7, 2020Really good soundtrack, visual design, character design, graphics, combat, etc.
-
Sep 11, 2020First game by Metronomik and it already looks massively promising. The OST itself is worth its own praise, truly a masterful work of musical piece. The gameplay is fine, but may be improved more. The game overall is an art.
-
Sep 23, 2020When the story, music and art did their jobs but the development team don't know what the heck they are doing. This is a $40 'indie' game with dozens of people involved. I've seen games with less than ten people working on it that has far better execution. That said, the guest artistes that performed all the soundtracks are awesome!

Sep 27, 2020i love this game, the music is great i and has a really cool arty style. :)
-
Dec 28, 2020Its a really good game the story is great but the gameplay could be more but thats all right I would give is a 10 or a 9 but the gameplay is lacking and its kinda short but great game and fantastic music I recommend

Jul 29, 2022The camera needs some work as it's hard to see what's going on most of the time
-
Jun 9, 2023man this game is sooooo good, masterpiece
but it has many issues, like bugs and control issue
the local co-up was good idea and reminder of ps2 games, but the camera view corrupted when you play 2 player
the game has really funny jokes, good story in general, awesome art style and wonderful character design, although the gameplay was fun but the it was too simple or superficial -
Oct 19, 2022Felt like this was an ok game to enjoy but much too short and doesn't have enough value if for a full price game
-
Nov 7, 2022Love the characters, dynamic is cool. The music was consistent and bangers. I saw the ending coming though but the game is unrated
-
Nov 16, 2022solid game with some good music in the game somewhat. wish it was longer and have more value.

Jan 29, 2021No Straight Roads is a big and colorful musical experience with heavy JRPG influences that lets you fight the man, give power to the people of Vinyl City and bring joy, all with the sweet power of rock and roll.
-
Nov 9, 2020No Straight Roads has fantastic visuals, a phenomenal soundtrack, and lovable characters. It's a shame that the rest of the game doesn't hold up as well but I didn't regret my time with the game and will be replaying the boss fights many more times thanks to the fantastic music.

Nov 1, 2020No Straight Roads looks great, sounds great, and has great characters- but it has major gameplay issues that bring down the whole experience.
