    While some may think New Super Lucky’s Tale is too easy, I appreciate its accessible approach to 3D platforming, and I found it to be a great way to kick back and unwind as everything here is scientifically designed to make me smile — there are loads of charming touches like the looks on Lucky’s face, or when enemies danced along to the music during one boss fight. While nothing here is mindblowing and it doesn’t push the genre forward, NSLT absolutely manages to maintain a sense of joy and wonder lost in most modern games.

    New Super Lucky's Tale is a great 3D platformer suitable for both young and old alike. The plot is daft but you're here for the gameplay. Don't kid yourself otherwise. Collectibles are a mild chore sometimes, but not disastrously so.

New Super Lucky's Tale is a bit on the short side and It's not the most innovative platformer, but it has a lot of heart and soul that kept me entertained from start to finish.

    Although devoid of temporary power-ups and other mechanics of the genre, New Super Lucky's Tale is an honest and fun platformer, whose main defects are represented by a longevity that runs out in 8-12 hours and a challenge rate calibrated towards the bass.

It has elements of 3D platforming, 2D side scrolling, endless runs and puzzles. None of these are too challenging, but they're fun and the variety shakes things up enough to keep it interesting. This game doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel, and there's not much here we haven't seen before somewhere else.
