    I actually had to find my metacritic login creds to write this review, because it is THIS pissed I am with this stupid game. First things first. I am 38 years old. I am a boring knowitall but still, I like my NFS games since day one. There were some bad ones and some good ones along the way, but this... This is horrible. I beared with the 2015 version, and quit only on the final race because the rubber banding was stupid. I played payback and you know what, it wasn't half bad. At least I explored the map, had some drift and drag fun, dealt with the silly story and had a sense of achievement. But THIS. THIS HEAT IS THE WORST. The night mode is unbearable. Spawning police cars behind you, crashing, losing your progress. All horrible. Terrible bugs that help you out (jumping inside water to get out of a pursuit i.e.) and a TINY single story mode (WITH the extras we are talking 7-8 hours tops). The game is bad. It is just so, so, so bad. The music is bad, the double tap drift is bad, everything is bad. Oh, and it is ALWAYS raining on this game. No reason, just because it looks cool I guess. The game is bad. Do not listen otherwise. I mean it. I paid 15 euros for it on sale, and regret every penny.… Expand

    First up, The Graphics NFS Heat's Graphics are kinda superior than Payback but it's not as like-like than the 2015 reboot. but still it looks so amazing. at every corner and every distance, it stands out as one good looking details around. but not only the hills, building, etc. the cars look very impressive.    Need for Speed Heat is (imo) one of the best racing games of the 2010's

    then, The Story
    So The premise of NFS Heat is that you play as an unnamed racer looking to race in Palm City (A Miami-Inspired City) for the Speedhunters Showdown who meets Lucas Rivera in the garage, After one race, she meets Ana Rivera (Lucas' Young Sister) Where she asks that they need to know who they are by racing at night and avoid the cops, but something from the High Speed Task Force is not what it seems.
    The story is great and the characters are spot on

    Now for the Gameplay
    It has a lot of things to do in Palm City, One of the main attractions is of course the events. From circuit to drift to sprint, there's gonna be alot of racing! Speaking of drift, the car handling is so great. and another of the main attractions is the cop chases, it's so hard yet it's so entertaining that it puts you to the edge of the seat. And of course, we could forget the customization. not only for your car, but also for your avatar can be customized.

    One of the best NFS games in years. Worth your time and money. I played the trial and now that it is released I can say I’ve never had so much fun with a NFS title since the days of Most wanted and Carbon. 9/10

    heat delivers something we actually wanted from 2011. I think that handling matches the good old black box games, story isnt maybe the best thing but nowadays stories arent focused on, just look at forza horizon 4... at least we have progression system of some sort and finally good cops, engine sounds are good and overall game looks like ghost put a lot of effort in it.

    This Game is the best since Hot Pursuit, I really love this series and I have been following it since the underground days, now this game really makes me feel like the old days, the cops are stressing and even the map, the variation quarry city and everything just wow! The story really begins good, and it really is heatbracking what happends.

    The game is really good. It is an extremely fun racing game with lots of potential. This bad reviews are just haters hating on a good game basically. The game has both day/night mode, good car handling, great graphics and the physics of driving has always been arcad-ish which I have no problem with. If you actually look at the reviews and decides to play this game, then you're missing out on something that is really amazing. This nfs throughout the years is the closest title that got close to mw(2005) and u2, and pro street in my opinion. I had amazing times with my friends in this game like setting up a party and had a car meet, had few runs in the highway.. This bad reviews are seriously from haters and it's because some people just can't accept the fact that (EA) actually published a good game after all these recent backlashes the company facing without realizing that GHOST GAMES's effort in this game.. Look at LP-RIPPER24 (a youtuber's view) on the nfs heat's bad review.. Just ignore this reviews and try it out, I'm telling you, this is an entertaining racing game that gives you the feel of underground 2, pro street, carbon, most wanted all combined..… Expand

    Way better then stupid nfs payback that was the worst one ever made and this ones the best it has cops in free roam.

    the sound of each car is excellent and the sound of those turbos ohhh boii, the graphics
    are pretty good and the physics ( the best physics of all ghost games except drfit physics that are a little weird) We have freeroam like NFS 2015 , cops freeroam ( a damn good police)
    And a good carlist. weak points? the soundtrack (disastrous) the technical failures that it has at the moment and maybe the abrupt way in which the story ends but I think it is a good sign that indicates that ghost finally learned how to make a good NFS games. I hope ghost gives a very good post-launch support to the game so that it stays alive    … Expand

Meccaniche di gioco riprese dai vecchi capitoli della saga sulla base di corse giorno/notte con appositi eventi. Rispetto al precedente capitolo ci sono dei miglioramenti sia grafici che di personalizzazione per l'auto.     Excelente NFS, en mi opinion el mejor en 14 años y a la altura de most wanted y underground 2, tiene personalización exhaustiva, excelente historia y graficos a la altura de forza horizon 4(otro juegazo) Muy contento con lo que ha hecho Ghost Games. Ademas esta libre de micropagos

    Great game, way better than the previous entry in the series (Payback), better graphics, handling and no predatory microtransactions as of today at least.

    It's not flawless but nothing is, I'm enjoying my time playing it and that's all that matters.

    Hacía años que no disfrutaba tanto de un Need for Speed como lo estoy haciendo con Heat. Este juego es una mezcla de todos los aspectos que hicieron grande a esta saga.

    It’s amazing full of underground, most wanted, carbon and prostreet vibes. Modern and fresh! And the story although a little short for my taste is way better than the previous games. I had a lot of fun playing it. Oh and those cops are deadly lol

    It's absolutely amazing how ghost has improved HDR and weather on this gorgeous game. The dynamics look fantastic.
    When it's raining and go under the cover of building, you'll see how beautiful the weather system works.
    It's incredible how free you rae at customizing the cars.

    The game is so much fun, Love what they did with the day night mechanic.
    car customization is crazy good.
    My only complain is i don't like the soundtrack but i can mute the music and play my own.

    This genuinely feels like a throwback to the OG most wanted and underground days. There are some performance issues that plague the game but other than that, we finally have a good need for speed game this year. Good job Ghost.

    Need for Speed: Heat is the first good step for the franchise in years. Devoid of micro transactions, providing some Underground-like neon vibes with it’s best customization system, it can provide more than a dozen of hours of fun, despite it’s dead like world design and irrelevant and boring story.

    Again, I don’t think Need for Speed Heat does much to re-invent the wheel when it comes to open-world racing games, but it does help reset the franchise in a way that felt necessary at this point. It’s an enjoyable experience throughout, the story is entertaining if maybe a little too serious, and the overall progression path is well realized. If you’re hungry to get behind the wheel of a virtual car this season, Need for Speed Heat is likely going to be the game for you.
