    Basically made for kids. The story is childish, the premise of needing street cred to buy parts is beyond idiotic, the handling is pure arcade, and the modification system was designed by people who have never even read a car magazine, much less actually turn a wrench.

    This series ended with NFS RIvals , that was the last great game of this series , everything that came after like Payback and this POS are not worth the play time even for free. Big city , 0 cars in sight , no drag racing ( we we're expecting the UNDERGROUND SEQUEL ) drifting is a joke , poor car selection.

    Drifting is a joke.
    No race line to show you the layout of the track.

    It's just a pretty car show. It has nothing to do with racing.

    The cops are too annoying, spawning in front of you, and they are not programmed as different objects, instead they are part of your car - 2 m. behind you (most of the time), it's insane how bad it's implemented. The map - only street races, every race feels the same. Car handling is terrible, car controls - terrible. One of the worst NFS ever made. You are with 180mph/h and in front ofThe cops are too annoying, spawning in front of you, and they are not programmed as different objects, instead they are part of your car - 2 m. behind you (most of the time), it's insane how bad it's implemented.     Please for the love of all that’s holy do NOT buy this game. Need for speed is dead, just deal with it and don’t let it fool you and play with your nostalgia. The story is awful. Music is boring and forgetful. Driving is ok, but drifting is inexcusably bad. The game (ps4 version for sure) is broken beyond belief.     And to top it all off, when you crawl through all this **** just because you still have a tiny amount of hope, the game gives you error 40010000 and deletes all your progress and tells you to “contact customer support”. But even customer support doesn’t know how to fix this, so they just tell you to hang in there.

    Story short, why even bother.

    Cop AI stupid and OP at the same time.

    Rubber banding all over the place. Payback had this, but in this game it's way too much.

    Game crashes from time to time.

    Objects pop in.

    Odgrzewany kotlet, kolejna kalka. Niestety seria zatrzymała się w rozwoju i przypomina Fifę, co chwila to samo na lekko zmienionej mapie i z nowymi zawodnikami, tutaj samochodami. Chciałbym powrotu starszych odsłon, gier w stylu pierwsze Hot Pursuit. Znudziły mnie otwarte światy, tuning i te wszystkie duperele dla dzieci.

В это ведь дети играют! Ну да ладно, ведь должны же разработчики были как-то оправдать себя за то, что они берут 70$ за это.

    - Всё окружение вдоль дорог, включая каменные заборы, ломается. Врезаешься в машину при скорости 150 км/ч - не беда! Ты просто замедляешься до 130 и продолжаешь движение не меняя направления. Если ты вылетел на обочину куда-то на скалы, то при попытке выехать оттуда, тебя часто закидывает назад - помогает только телепорт в гараж. За два дня с момента покупки игра вылетала 12 раз. Далее я просто перестал считать

    - В игровом мире скучно и одиноко, все детали для тюнинга открыты с самого начала, денег дают столько, что можно купить любые машины. Единственное что заставляло пройти - Надежда, что сюжетка будет интересной, но нет. - Жаль потраченных денег на предзаказ. Тот же Payback был в разы лучше.    … Expand

    the escape mechanics are just fkn stupid. you either have to take a jump or drive into the water to lose the cops. i mean.. who thought that would be a nice escape mechanism? are you high or something? it's just horrible

    Beware - campaign cutscene length is less than two hours. In total I finished the campaign in about 6 - 8 hours...and that was me taking my time free roaming and smashing billboards. I foolishly paid £54.99 thinking it was a huge game. Thankfully GAME is offering me £30 to trade it back. The problem with NFS Heat is once you've finished the short campaign there's nothing left to do. Sure,Beware - campaign cutscene length is less than two hours. In total I finished the campaign in about 6 - 8 hours...and that was me taking my time free roaming and smashing billboards. I foolishly paid £54.99 thinking it was a huge game. Thankfully GAME is offering me £30 to trade it back. The problem with NFS Heat is once you've finished the short campaign there's nothing left to do. Sure, you can unlock more cars, smash some more billboards, do drift challenges, etc, but why? There's no incentive. If you're going to get this game (I wouldn't recommend it, especially at full price) make sure to find collectibles and do driving stories as you progress through the campaign. If you do the campaign all at once, there isn't much worth doing after.… Expand

    Su playstation 4. Pro la risoluzione sembra molto inferiore altitolo precedente, e anche molto meno stabile come fps. Parecchie parti sono un semplice copia e incolla dei titoli precedenti copiando un po' la politica di Ubisoft

    4) The city is generally empty during the day. In the same Underground 2, there is a lot of bots ride and honk, but here you are in a zombie apocalypse.

    Физика мне понравилась, дрифт неплох как для серии нфс. А теперь главное. ВЫ ЧЁ БОЛЬНЫЕ? Как в НФС не добавить возможность расклеивать тачку? Ваще конченые чтоле? Я впринципе 50% геймплея занимался кастомизацией всегда.     1) No button configuration? EA are out of their minds.
    2) Barely no vibration? What is this?...

    It took me 10 seconds of gameplay to uninstall this garbage. 10 seconds.

    Ridiculous cops mechanics ruin all the fun. Cops just teleport to you and smash you. You can't drive away, you must deal with them through stunts. The game name is Need for Speed NOT Need for Stunt by the way... You can't normally progress without night races (races with cops!), where cops just smash you no matter how good you drive.

    Do not buy this game. The story is ridiculously short, drifting is unbelievably broken, EA think that flooding the game with collectibles is content, I could go on. I’ve played every NFS and this unfortunately now ranks the lowest

    I've played all sorts of racing games and NFS Heat is one of the worst among them. Extremally tedious and unbalanced, drains all the joy out of you and leaves you frustrated. I just hope that the next entry in the series will be better.

    Cops way too over powered. Another NFS that has been made my people that know nothing about cars. Completely arcade handling, not even a hint of realism. Would have given 4 or 5 but had to balance out a couple of 10s.

    cidade vazia, gráficos no primeiro momento me surpreenderão, mas quando em 4k é possível ver os defeitos, a chuva é até bacana formando as poças d'água, porém elas não tem física, os carros são até que bem detalhados, mas os personagem, parecem ser do the sims 2, cidade vazia, a policia tem tantos recursos pra acabar com você, porque pra ter uma barra de durabilidade que não dura quasecidade vazia, gráficos no primeiro momento me surpreenderão, mas quando em 4k é possível ver os defeitos, a chuva é até bacana formando as poças d'água, porém elas não tem física, os carros são até que bem detalhados, mas os personagem, parecem ser do the sims 2, cidade vazia, a policia tem tantos recursos pra acabar com você, porque pra ter uma barra de durabilidade que não dura quase nada além da barra de prisão (que muitas vezes mesmo não estando parado surge) é um horror, a gameplay me da a experiencia de um jogo lego, carro destrói quase todo o cenário como as arvores como se fossem papel...
    Prós:
    -O mapa está quase no ponto, Palm City funciona. (menos as rampas que estão pela cidade sem nenhuma explicação, ao meu ver)
    -A personalização é legal, mas não é nada fora da realidade como muitos falam, a customização do "U2" ainda é maior, alguns carros quase não tem muitas peças.
    -A personalização do som do carro é incrível
    - Policiais muito agressivos são uma grande vantagem
    -A noite é muito legal, e o "conquiste tudo ou perca tudo" parece realmente gratificante.
    -Não há microtransações, pelo menos a partir de agora (eu não queria mencionar isso, porque isso não deveria estar em jogos com preços completos).
    Contras:
    -Graficamente, o jogo não se destaca (alguma implementação realmente ruim de anti-serrilhado, carregamento de textura com atraso, qualidade da textura também parece ruim. Joguei em 1080p - no Max)
    -Uma história muito esquecível e muito curta
    -Um monte de bugs, pelo menos até momento (o jogo travou 4 vezes em uma única jogada, na segunda vez, bloqueou o meu PC e tive que reiniciar o carro capotou e se recusou a respawnar, ficou assim por 15 segundos até que eu fui preso por causa disso, muitos outros bugs que me incomodaram)
    - Problemas de conectividade
    - fiquei preso em uma tela de carregamento várias vezes e tive que reiniciar o jogo (meu amigo que estava comigo teve o mesmo problema ao mesmo tempo)
    -O tempo do dia parece realmente sem graça
    - A trilha sonora é totalmente horrível (tem funk mano...)
    Muitos dos problemas mencionados acima podem ser facilmente corrigidos, sem dúvida. A série parece estar indo na direção certa, mas acabei não me divertindo tanto.
    Esta é minha opinião sobre.

    Ich weiß nicht wie Ghost Games dieses Spiel noch mehr verhauen konnte wie die drei zuvor.
    Zusammengefasst:
    Die Performance wenn es mal kurz läuft ist schlecht. Spiel stürzt auf dem Pc ab ohne Fehlermeldung. Der komplette Pc friert ein und es hilft nur ein Hard Reset. Überall flackert die Grafik und Pop Up´s gibt es ohne ende. Die Spielwelt ist leer, sehr leer und langweilig. Soweit    Ich weiß nicht wie Ghost Games dieses Spiel noch mehr verhauen konnte wie die drei zuvor.
    Zusammengefasst:

    Die Performance wenn es mal kurz läuft ist schlecht.
    Spiel stürzt auf dem Pc ab ohne Fehlermeldung. Der komplette Pc friert ein und es hilft nur ein Hard Reset.
    Überall flackert die Grafik und Pop Up´s gibt es ohne ende.
    Die Spielwelt ist leer, sehr leer und langweilig. Soweit ich es sehen konnte, da ich nie länger als 5 Minuten Spielen kann bevor es wieder abstürzt.

    Das Handling der Autos ist absolut unterirdisch. Die Steuerung fühlt sich einfach nicht gut an da man nur im Drift um Kurven kommt. Das ganze Handling Modell ist auf Driften ausgelegt ob man das nun mag oder nicht. Ich mag es nicht.
    Es ist einfach dumm das man immer Driften muss um, um Kurven zu kommen.

    Ich habe das Gefühl EA wollte einen Forza Konkurrenten Entwickeln. Ich aber derbe daran Gescheitert in allen Aspekten.    … Expand

The cars handle poorly, cornering feels especially awful and I definitely can not recommend the game for anyone wanting to enjoy a fun arcade racer.

    To put it bluntly, this game is a steaming pile of neon bulls***. The streets feel empty and the game world itself devoid of a soul. It seems like the game has barely anything going on for itself and it seems hard to believe Heat to be a AAA game instead of one of those free-to-play online racing mmo's.

    In all honesty I can not think of a single good reason for anyone to buy this game and in good conscience can not recommend this game to anyone. 3/10 simply because the game is not profoundly broken, only profusely so.    … Expand

    Once again, they did hack work when there is someone to navigate — forza horizon. Even the boring crew 2 with a huge world and a bunch of activities (some of which are just boring) and more nice graphics (even there is a first-person view) looks better what on account of need for speed - 20? It's a shame, close the series, do not disgrace.

If you can snag this for half price or less, it's probably worth picking up. Definitely not worth full pop. One thing I see a bunch of complaints about is the game is too arcade-y.... bro have you ever played a NFS game? It's what they've been doing for 25 years with less than a handful of exceptions. If you want a sim, play a sim.

    This game is VERY buggy and has by far the worst car physics I've ever seen in a racing game.

    The police has a questionable design at day. At night, they are mostly very annoying and unbalanced.

    The best part of this game are easily the night events and the car selection. The night events are really fun but can be very frustrating sometimes.

The map is dreary, boring and horrible, stupid corners that are impossible to turn without crashing. The traffic AI will literally block both lanes of a road so you crash. The rubber-banding is so obvious that it makes me want to cut my eyes off. The music selection is horrible, i'm not spanish so why do i have to listen to random spanish songs during a race. Worst of it all, is the night racing/grinding. You have to earn rep, to unlock parts and cars, which seems like a good concept, until you notice that the police in this game are the most broken aspect of everything. They literally know what turn you are going to take, they go even faster than you, when they tap, your side you lose about a quarter of health, WHY IS THERE A HEALTH BAR FOR MY CAR??? This is arcade racing game, i didn't ask for realism and car damage and weapons on my car, they still haven't learnt their mistake from nfs rivals. Police would literally spawn right in front of me during a race, and i would lose at the last turn, because of bs stupid AI. It's literally impossible to get away from the police no matter how fast your car is, the only way is to do a jump, or literally drive into water in the hope that the police follow you in. This would be all fine if THE REP GRINDING WAS NOT COMPULSORY TO PROGRESS THROUGH THE GAME. You have to grind the rep once you first start the game, and you have a low end car, so it's so tedious and time consuming. Once you get to heat level 2, thats it, game over for you. What idiot thought that this was a good idea? Grinding? RPG style elements in a arcade racing game? wtf is this. Absolute disgrace to the series, and i've played every single main title that has come out. The handling system is still the same brake to drift bs, they havent changed anything, moving the drift button from L2 to R2 doesn't mean you have changed the handling model. Stupid forced off road section that literally no gives a f about, cringe story line and voice acting. I see no improvement upon the customisation of cars, apart from sticking rice effects like under-glow and air suspension. The wrap editor is the exact same. The car choice in the game is horrible as well. SO many supercars and hypercars, and this would be no problem, but they cause inflation within the game market because they are so goddamn overpriced, so all other cars are more expensive as well, as i mentioned above with the evo 8. Adding 4 different versions of the same car doesen't mean its good content you've just re-used the same goddamn model. 45 different types of BMW, and 23 types of mercedes is not good car choice. The engine swap idea was good, but it also falls flat on its face, because it ruins the whole aspect of going from 0 to hero, with your starter car if you wanted to. I picked the 180sx as a starter car, then i realised i cant make this into an ultimate racing car because the engine only goes up to 600 hp. Why is there forced barriers to enjoyment and progression?? Its too complicated for a racing game, and way too grind heavy, if you enjoy listening to your starter car, struggling going up hill whilst you are on your way to a race, and then a random police car spawns and you cannot lose them no matter how fast you go and how perfect you take corners, you lose all of the rep you made that night, so you lose all progression and there is nothing you can do. And their concept of story is to just stick the BMW M3 GTR all the way from a game from 2005, into every single game, trying to pull on nostalgia strings, yet it makes no sense for the car to be there. The characters are all boring and i don't care about a single one of them. The game feels lethargic, boring, pathetic to play and there is no enjoyment to have whatsoever. i received the game as a gift, so please don't waste your money on it. THERE IS A REASON WHY GHOST GAMES WERE DISBANDED/ TAKEN OUT FROM PRODUCING NFS after this game because they well and truly messed up every ounce of reputation they had.     Not only is the story mediocre, but the music, vibe, map, and experience is overall just bad. The cars are all useless compared to the Porsche RSR. The cars are locked until you complete story missions, but when all cars and story missions are complete, you have nothing left to do except grind races for cash or just glitch it. The lack of content/updates is due to EA not investing enough time in this, and they also shut down Ghost Games.

This game seems especially forgettable with a generic landscape and forgettable downtown district. Police and traffic get in the way of any fun that might be had.     Terrible, terrible handling, cars can't decide whether they are "drifty", being very inconsistent on curves, plus your car will suck no matter what, being easily ousted even by a station wagon. and to make things worse, just by touching an inch of the sidewalk you will lose 75% of your speed in half a second and will need about 30 seconds to catch up.

    Can't believe what had become of NFS, what used to be the best racing game franchise by far is now a ghoul roaming the world just waiting for someone to kill it off...     Меня хватило на 15 минут. Машиной невозможно управлять, техника заноса просто бредовая, когда ты хотел просто сбавить газ, и жмешь опять.
    Ну в 2015 же в правильном направлении шли. Верните киношные вставки в духе MW и Carbon.
    Я думал ничего хуже payback уже не будет.    Меня хватило на 15 минут. Машиной невозможно управлять, техника заноса просто бредовая, когда ты хотел просто сбавить газ, и жмешь опять.

    I played everything in the name of ''NFS'.Always i have hope and i said this can be the one i waiting for. With HEAT another failure.. I will mention about cops.Nearly impossible to escape them and this ruins the game.At days win race earn money, at nights earn reputation and again nights lose half of everything you have its annoying. I think nfs die with most wanted good bye RAZOR

    So i bought it cause i was hesitating between nfs rival and this one, so after googling a bit some reddit guys said they liked both but Heat was way better... god they where wrong i rather not seek help from Reddit guys no more to have some reviews.

    Graphically the game is hot, they fixed the bad physics of the previous ones. The cops... ohhh god the damn cops, you can have a 400+ Ford GT they'll still manage to catch you no way to lose them, the game on normal difficulty is weird like i get my arse kicked even in 250 event with a 300 m3, the story is cringe, cheesy (story usually sucks in nfs anyway but for the run ! that one had a great story) with my character who look like some guy with down syndrome and is dressed in a weird way. Also BLM ? Really ? That game got waaaay too political haha and the soundtrack at night is gorgeous and bombastic but the soundtrack during the day is dog**** garbage seriously i need to turn it off when i want to farm some cash during the day    … Expand

    Need for Speed: Heat is the first good step for the franchise in years. Devoid of micro transactions, providing some Underground-like neon vibes with it’s best customization system, it can provide more than a dozen of hours of fun, despite it’s dead like world design and irrelevant and boring story.

    Again, I don’t think Need for Speed Heat does much to re-invent the wheel when it comes to open-world racing games, but it does help reset the franchise in a way that felt necessary at this point. It’s an enjoyable experience throughout, the story is entertaining if maybe a little too serious, and the overall progression path is well realized. If you’re hungry to get behind the wheel of a virtual car this season, Need for Speed Heat is likely going to be the game for you.
