    I hated the soundtrack, worst in ALL NFS series. But it's a good game, loved the cars, the story is OK but not bad. The cars, engines, customization are awsome. The police is Very hard, the hardest cops of earlier need for speed no doubt. The Map and during the day it's a need for speed HORIZON game, a little bit of DIRT and GRID too. At night, yes there we have a Need for speed game, but the map It's not Very NFS but its good, sometimes remembered me of Underground 2 and Carbon. I loved the Neon Back. I think the cars are too expensive, this is Bad because we want tô try lots of cara but even with 60 hours game, you cannot afford even half of the cars. The Gameplays is a High point in this game. And here is something special in this game. The maps is totally free and your can Go offroad whenever you want, so If you make a OFF ROAD setup (I LOVED mercedez G63 in this game) you can make different likes and tracks during normal races and scaping from police. I think EA made a simple but good job with Off Road in this game, and the freedom of playing at night or day whenever you want is a good spot too. I am playing NFS UNBOUND now and for now heat is better but i AM Just starting with unbound so my mind may change.. thanks for Reading, cheers    … Expand

    Things I like:
    - Graphic is very nice.
    - Visual customisation is very flexible and awesome. - I loves collectible feature. - Various choices of cars - I love Palm City map, with many terrain, scene, and style. Hidden path (like under ground tunnel, sky train rail) - Day/Night scene are beautiful, also rain effect. - I love to play the game in easily. And I like how easy it is to beat AI in    Things I like:
    - Graphic is very nice.

    Things that could be better:
    - Confusing concept of swapping engine. Should I swap engine? Why can't I just upgrade the parts to higher tier?
    - I wish I could adjust traffic density. Some time I need to do free roam running or try some activities with less civian cars.
    - I hate night race. Because it guarantee that will end up in persuut everytime.
    - Drifting is much harder, I don't know why but I never feel as bad like this in previous installment.
    - Story is not good. Some characters are just too childish. It doesn't affect gameplay, but it doesn't engage me.
    - I wish to see More Asian cars; Toyota, Hyundai, etc. I'm not interested at all in muscular classic car neither old ugly truck from Chevrolet (actually I thinks there are too many American cars)
    - Should have garages in every district of the map. And garage should be more noticable and have wider entrance.
    - Civilian cars are quite stupid sometimes, they stop pointlessly in the middle of the junction (like they just want to block my way)
    - Car body customisation should affect something beyond its look. Perhaps, it could add or decrease downforce, grip, cooling, strength (related to car damage)
    - Map interface is not quite perfect. I can't see the whole route of many race just because I can't fully zoom out the see the whole.mapnpf Palm City.    … Expand

    The game what brought back the gameplay from the arcade tuner racers from the 2000s. It simply just is a very good game, but it is also lacking in terms of graphics, atmosphere and soundtrack.

    In my opinion Heat is a really good game because the day and night system is well divided, you don't have to struggle as in the previous parts to win races and have both. the story is better than in payback as for the police it's a bit too difficult for me but it's up to everyone if they want the graphics are good but the sense of speed is weak here in general good game

    After playing unbound, safe to say that my gaming experience is better with heat. I feel like unbound is a cheap copy of heat.

    Fun driving mechanics. Fun city. Kept playing after the story which does not happen often. Rep vs money system is engaging. NFS Unbound lost a lot of the soul this game had and made some poor choices that were fun in this game. Continuous cop chases after a race is a huge plus here. Unbound resets your speed and the cops positioning after a race which is cheap.

    Awesome game, very complete: races, drifting and road, along to time trials and heat races, with both day and night modes. There is also a beautiful collection of cars, with great customization options. Really loved this game, is a shame that reputation does not add much to the game after reaching level 50.

    Great racing game best from the NFS series, grate music [best at night], BEST cop lines I've ever heard [best at night], best graphics in nfs history [at this time] character chooser is a welcoming feature, all and all great game. Would give it a 10 but the cops keep bashing me up but hey thats their job.

At least I explored the map, had some drift and drag fun, dealt with the silly story and had a sense of achievement. But THIS. THIS HEAT IS THE WORST. The night mode is unbearable. Spawning police cars behind you, crashing, losing your progress. All horrible. Terrible bugs that help you out (jumping inside water to get out of a pursuit i.e.) and a TINY single story mode (WITH the extras we are talking 7-8 hours tops). The game is bad. It is just so, so, so bad. The music is bad, the double tap drift is bad, everything is bad. Oh, and it is ALWAYS raining on this game. No reason, just because it looks cool I guess. The game is bad. Do not listen otherwise. I mean it. I paid 15 euros for it on sale, and regret every penny.… Expand

    Been playing NFS games since 2005 and this one is definitely one of the best NFS games ever made. I don't know what else you people on this website want sometimes lmao. Nostalgia rose-tinted glasses, huh? Great customization, heap of cars and events, ability to play solo offline, not grindy at all. One of the best arcade racers.

    It is a very cool game with a very cool aesthetic. It is pleasing to the eye, plus a very fun driving and mechanics. The almost total absence of micro-transactions is appreciated.

    I never was an enthusiast of a racing games. For some odd reasons I decided to buy one. With the advice of my friend, who I knew is into racing games, I put my money on Heat. It didn't dissapoint. Solid and stable game with a very accurate driving mechanics made me invested into it from the first hour of gameplay. The story is pretty basic but it's plausible. Gameplay is very good the driving feels perfected to it's core. The game itself has a lot of different types of races able to sustain player interest even after ending the main plot. The progression is a bit of a grind if you really want to check out every car that's available but it's nonetheless satisfying. It's a nice game with an open world and a lot of content to check out.     From a car enthusiast's perspective, this game has been a blast. It is by far one of the best Need for Speed games ever. It has a better story than NFS payback, but it is shorter. The game mechanics are very good by earning money during the day and earning REP during the night.     So The premise of NFS Heat is that you play as an unnamed racer looking to race in Palm City (A Miami-Inspired City) for the Speedhunters Showdown who meets Lucas Rivera in the garage, After one race, she meets Ana Rivera (Lucas' Young Sister) Where she asks that they need to know who they are by racing at night and avoid the cops, but something from the High Speed Task Force is not what it seems.
    The story is great and the characters are spot on

    Now for the Gameplay
    It has a lot of things to do in Palm City, One of the main attractions is of course the events. From circuit to drift to sprint, there's gonna be alot of racing! Speaking of drift, the car handling is so great. and another of the main attractions is the cop chases, it's so hard yet it's so entertaining that it puts you to the edge of the seat. And of course, we could forget the customization. not only for your car, but also for your avatar can be customized.

    Finally, The Overall Score

    I really enjoy games that support BLM with diverse characters and fitting hip-hop music. NFS heat may have its flaws but the thrill and hours of enjoyment of racing drifting and rally events will always put NFS on top.

    Great game. Once you get passed the first vehicles you choose which are horrible. Buy a car at the dealership and tune it. The Honda Civic type r is a great start. Game is fun and offers rewarding upgrades and cars to unlock. Try it for yourself. Don’t understand the hate it’s gotten

    A marked improvement over older versions. The older versions had no story no nothing. The last good need for speed was carbon. This game takes the player back to the days of carbon and underground street racing while still allowing you to switch to a sactioned tournamwnt during the day. Good story, nice graphics and some surprises in the end for old need for speed fans. Cons:

    I spent alot of time on this game, even after getting the platinum achivment I keep on playing for a long time to but diffrent cars and try them out and looking for the best one. Graphics are really modern and very nice looking, the use of lights and water reflections made the look good for eye. Driving model is way better than in NFS Payback but still not the best. Now I have to go back to the garage to actually earn the stuff i got. When the police are coming I act COMPLETELY NORMAL yet they still start chasing me. When I outrun them and get to the garage, I need to enter the garage BUT... the button to enter theI love this game yet there is one thing that I HATE. When I'm playing on night mode. NOW ALL OF THE STUFF THAT I JUST WON. IS GONE!!! because I was right there at the garage BUT the button wouldn't show up so I COULDN'T GET IN THE GARAGE!! I just HATE that.     EA наконец-то сделала отличную NFS! Разработчики взяли идеи NFS rivals и грамотно улучшили их. Довольно разный геймплей между днем и ночью тоже очень понравилось.

    The customization options are great, but for me personally it would be even better if they chosed to bring back some original parts and not only official parts.     The things that I did not like were the physics of the skid, without a doubt, somehow it breaks with that Heat theme, that of cars of thousands of dollars or the more classic cars of the jdm, but, do not they make long and fast? That disappointed me a bit, but in short I liked it a lot. Nice job.    … Expand

    For the time we are in with a total lack of creativity in car games from the era of NFS Underground through Pro Street, NFS Heat is a very solid game and if I were a kid now, I think I could sink a lot of time into this game like I did so long ago with the classic Need for Speeds.

    Honestly it's really damn good. Ghost Games really shifted their gears and fixed everything they did wrong in their previous NFS games. Only thing that sucks is the bad soundtrack (amateur rap) and hard cops. But all in all, the story is damn catching and driving is finally fun. And that's from someone who played MW back in 2005

    I'm not looking for a racing SIM where all you do is get in a car and race. This has so much more. There are small short-cuts between way-points for drivers that keep their eyes open, there are tricks to get away from police during the illegal races at night and it has a nice little story line.     Best Need For Speed since Carbon (2006)

    I am glad the franchise is going back to the origins, but it still lacks a few aspects like a decent soundtrack, less emphasis on this pointless story and more in racing. Also something worth to mention is that there are no more extremely greedy microtransactions like the last games, just play as it is and be happy.

    NFS slowly getting better. I feel the dev's missed an opportunity with the s2k. They should have gave it a topless option. Some cars need more love with customizations. I often found myself saying "what is the point in having these cars if I can't customize them?" By far the best nfs game yet tho.

    This is a fun game, the story isn't incredible but is fine, the customization is one of the best aspects of the game.
    One of the biggest cons is the AI, the're so STUPID, you can't lose a race also in the highest difficulty.

    Need for speed Heat is a great arcade racer, story is alright, Graphics look nice especially at night, People Complain about the Cops but I don't find much of a problem.. though I play on Medium so, Ferraris are back so Woo! Customisation is fantastic and those exhausts ,so good , Online works well too, and it's just fun

This was definitely the best racer for 2019 next to Wreckfest. This game doesn't have hardcore bugs as people claim and the mechanics are the best by far with the day and night cycle. It makes sense because during the day you earn money and at night you earn respect which makes sense. People suck and don't know anything about decent racing games and aren't good at them therefore they are salty. Police level 4 is easy to escape. I've escaped plenty of times.     This is NFS getting their form back. It hooks you and keeps you coming back. The cars seem to have a character, pimping the looks, swamping engines, all adds to the experience. The races are challenging, night cops are hard, the day night switching is fun af. The bad; no drag racing, lots of bugs.
    It is not the best NFS, but it is the Best Modern NFS. Very underrated.

    Great game! I love the customization of vehicles here. Car physics became better. You can now feel the grip and change the way you want your car to be controlled. Way better than NFS 2015. Unfortunately, the storyline isn’t that good, that’s why Need for Speed Heat is a 9/10 for me.

    This is the best NFS Game since Prostreet, as it builds on elements from previous games (both Ghost and Black Box) in ways we haven't seen in over ten years, and that's fax. Is the story bad? Yes, but it does stuff I didn't expect and isn't super intrusive (see Carbon for an intrusive storyline). Is the music terrible? Yes, but I usually flip on a playlist and mute the music for these games anyway. Are the cops hard? Yes. Stay out of Level 3-4 pursuits until you get a better car, and git gud, after you start getting close to beating the game (which is like 5/8ths as powerful as your car can get) you can evade them with ease.

    But this game does a lot right. Decent choice in cars, good world and track design, good visual design without too many nasty filters or effects, and an honestly phenomenal customization system. The physics are different than a lot of other games, but they feel fine. Not realistic, and that's a good thing for a game like this. The cars have a decent weight to them and over/understeer if you tune them wrong and go too fast into a corner, but you can really dial it in and make them handle exactly how you want. It takes some time, but my Countach, M3 GTR and Devil Z handle really well.
    I didn't like drifting at first either, but then i just did it enough and it clicked and found them to be a healthy challenge. Tutorial for it is awful though so I see why people don't like it.

    No one as actually mentioned what I take issue with the game. No wheel support yet, and that's booty cheeks. VR Support missing isn't a surprise, but damn after playing Assetto Corsa it's hard to go back to monitor view. The worst part is the multiplayer, you just kinda get invited to a lobby to race with zero balancing, or matchmaking, or anything. It's supplementary, but still, i wish it was better.

    So yeah, 9/10. TL;DR this NFS game is fun, for the first time since 2007. The world is fun to be in, the races are VERY well choreographed, and the customization is bang on. Story is cheesy and the lines are poorly delivered but I honestly couldn't care less. Cops are finally a decent challenge even if they feel like **** at first. Peace.    … Expand

    NFS Heat brings back to U2 and MW days. Its a game that got me hooked up again and really wanting to play some NFS. Graphics are great and gameplay pretty fun, although cops are tough.

But when you modified a car you notice that it has no diversity from need for speed payback . And there is no barricade so if you make a mistake you must start over !     This has to be the best Need for Speed I have played in a long time. What ghoust got wrong with payback the got it right with Need for Speed Heat. The story is amazing, but I wish the story was longer than it is. The car list is amazing and the car customisation is better than ever. I highly recommend this game.

    one of the best IMO, almost on par with NFS 2015, no need to be always online but the multiplayer is done really well, improvements on every aspect! (except maybe the soundtrack but that is just personal preference)

    Again, I don’t think Need for Speed Heat does much to re-invent the wheel when it comes to open-world racing games, but it does help reset the franchise in a way that felt necessary at this point. It’s an enjoyable experience throughout, the story is entertaining if maybe a little too serious, and the overall progression path is well realized. If you’re hungry to get behind the wheel of a virtual car this season, Need for Speed Heat is likely going to be the game for you.
