    This is legit the worst game I’ve ever played. I can’t even describe how much of a disappointment it is. No improvements made from 2k19. This game is not even slightly realistic with graphics that just would never happen in real life. Help defenders makes me want to break my ps4.

    We have to be dumb AF to keep buying this same stupid ass game over and over... Literally nothing changed on 20 but the controls the neighborhood is the same a new bull **** prelude story but same 2K... trying to get you to buy VC so you won't have to start all the way over with another ****ty my player

    Worst animations, worst dynamics ever. Im going to play 2k17 or 16. They are better than this game. Just another money maker.

    To be honest this is the worst 2k I've ever played the gameplay is trash and slow, you miss layups with low coverage, you can't defend and I'm really considering not the next 2k.

    I recently purchased it to replace 2k17. I had played 2k19 before so I am familiar with the gameplay of the newer 2k games. The MyCareer mode is stupidly hard for no reason. It’s almost impossible to get assists because your teammates will miss almost every shot they take and the defenders are like magnets. I can’t for the life of me understand why they would get rid of rookie difficultyI recently purchased it to replace 2k17. I can’t for the life of me understand why they would get rid of rookie difficulty in mycareer. Foul calls are so ridiculously soft it’s not even fun to play anymore. Illegal screening is so easy to do that you can’t even run pick and rolls. The AI is way too good on stealing passes when they aren’t even looking at the ball and my 90rated 3 point player with silver catch and shoot still misses wide open 3s. Also whoever decided that layups need a shot meter should be fired because that is the stupidest **** I’ve ever seen. NBA players don’t miss open layups often enough to need a shot meter. Layups should be an automatic animation that may be affected by a defender. Even when I turned off shot meter affecting layups it still made me miss open layups. Also I have dunk packages equipped so why won’t my player ever dunk? The defense essentially cancels out deadeye because you will not make a shot with a defender closing out on you. Players who aren’t that good all of a sudden are hitting guarded 3s while my guy can’t hit an open running jumper. The defender always hedges our perfectly so pick and rolls are essentially useless. Grinding up is hard because you can’t do anything during games so you barely pick up enough coins to gain levels. Developers need to take a hard look at mycareer because they really messed it up in this game to the point where it’s not even fun or worth playing. Seriously considering getting a refund and going back to 2k17 even without servers. If there were negative ratings I would’ve given this game that.… Expand

    Got this game recently as a gift, thought maybe it was just people hating to hate..NOPE! Turns out this game is a mess, the park is nothing but lag for the most part. It's legit copy and past minus they replaced "Footlocker" with "2K Shoes". (I wish I was making that up). Completely incompetent game developers.     Muy malísimo el juego. Los arquetipos no son lo que dicen y le hace falta trabajar mucho en las técnicas de movimientos. Y es igual que todo los años, los playmakers hacen de todo. Injusto Ronnie2K, pónganse a trabajar vagos.

    Checkmate!!! I've been a 2k fan for about a decade. But this Year is by far the worst Multiplayer and online multiplayer Ever. When it first came out for the first couple months it was cool.. Now they have updated it an keeps updating but no improvement. They have it where players are getting tired fast missing wide open layups dunks stupid shot selection and all.. It's not so much that the game is broken (and trust me, it is in a lot of ways), but it's more with the blatant and disgusting business motto that they have as a company. In the neighborhood mode which is my preferred mode to play, before you can even get competitive you have to spend hours upon hours of playing against the cpu and performing tedious tasks, get bad progression points which are very important and then just maybe you can be somewhat competitive. Not to mention that dribble moves were removed from 2k19, jumpshots are inconsistent and forget about attempting to play without the quick draw badge because jumpshots take forever to release. There's barely anyone at the parks, the neighborhood is the same as 2k19 it's insulting that they charged full price for a game that's essentially a downgrade of the previous year's version. If you're reading this review, avoid at all cost. If you need your basketball fix, i suggest you keep playing 2k19. That's what I'm doing now.… Expand

    NBA 2K20 includes fewer innovations than a "copy/paste club", yet manages to still play and feel pretty great. Gambling and microtransactions involved are becoming more and more toxic with each year tho.
