Overall, if you're an adrenaline junkie but lack the money to afford a monster truck, or the life insurance to cover you in case of accidents, then Monster Jam: Steel Titans is pretty much the next best thing.

As arcadey as its races often are, there’s enough realism here to ground proceedings in a strangely compelling manner. Example? How about blowing out a tyre2 and the game forcing you to complete the race as you hobble along in eighth place like a six-tonne knackered shopping trolley. Fugly and frantic, this is a unique racer. Monster Jam: Steel Titans is aimed at fans of that particular sub-genre of driving games but does very little to win itself any new fans.

It seems that the Monster Jam series is off the track, as every recent entry in the series cares much more about the financial goals rather than game's quality. Steel Titans is no exception and if the owners of the title don't change their entire view, we are not going to see any good Monster Jam title in the future too.

It’s one of those games that’s alright for a couple of hours if you can get it at a deep discount. Otherwise, it’s just too frustrating to recommend.

Monster Jam Steel Titans is not what would you call a complete disaster or a totally broken game but why would you bother playing it since there is absolutely no fun factor that can be found within?

Well, after I received the game, I never got the preorder bonus. I contacted their facebook, after a VERY long wait for a response, I didn't get an answer why because I wasn't very "clear". I moved onto emailing the company. Instead of weeks, it only takes them days to respond. and then I'm informed the pre-order bonus was JUST for the standard edition and the collectors edition. They tell me on July 16th 2019 "We have made a request for a key, and are still awaiting the response." And here I am in Jan 1st 2020, and they still claim to have no received the key for my preorder bonus.

    Their last email stated
    "Thank you for your mail.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately have not received any update on your request.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Please feel free to contact us anytime."

Well, all 4 preorder bonus trucks are for sale as DLC for $2 and instead of waiting for them. i'm leaving my story on every review I can.

The game is alright, it's just a slight physics upgrade from the previous games with a graphic upgrade. But I strongly suggest buying this game used and not supporting this company.

If you are looking for the latest greatest racing exp this will be lacking.

Early in the game...beating some of the tutorials and the first race series then the tutorials. It's a fun use of the license...the trucks get great air and the trick mechanics seem a bit simple but makes for a fun experience.

The physics when the trucks are rolling, is a bit much...trucks roll like they're made if paper...but it's a minor gripe and only impacts the game once the truck is rolling...meaning while racing or driving the trucks steer decent enough. Too early too comment on complete game content but having fun playing this along side my son...a big monster truck fan
