I've never played last series of the show before, also i'm not a big baseball fan. but I can tell you this, so addictive and fun. I bet you will love this game, even if you have no interest in baseball like me. I can't stop playing the show 15!

The Show is an amazing game!! Very realistic to actual baseball. The dynamic difficulty is great and the graphics are superb! Not to mention the gameplay is great as well! Go Cards!!!!

Easily the greatest baseball game I've ever played. It's incredibly realistic and the games feel and play out like you'd expect in real baseball. Definitely worth picking up.

Since '08, The Show has been the best (now only) baseball sim on the console market. Each year there are subtle tweaks that edge it closer to perfection. The player models, however, are beginning to show their age. Give or take a few framerate hiccups, this game in motion is something to behold. Unless you're still clinging to a modded MVP 2005 or High Heat, this is the way to go for baseball.

Featuring a bunch of improvements over last year, with the much anticipated licensed gear, it's definitely worth the price of admission. Graphics and lighting has gone up a notch, and animations are more lifelike. I've played several games online and in diamond dynasty with absolutely no lag, maybe a hiccup during camera cuts but not any during gameplay.

If you like baseball, this game is a must. If you don't, you should still consider this great sports sim. Varied umpire calls, dirt that kicks up along with grass from a ground ball, to the hot dog guy screaming "hot dogs!".. This game is the real deal

Another fantastic rendition of MLB. The game is finally beginning to look like a next gen title with updated graphics, physics etc. The loading times are VASTLY improved which makes a huge difference if you play RTTS. There are still legacy issues like no closed dome options, sloppy uniform details etc but if you love baseball you can go no wrong with this.

For next year though I'd like to see, closed/retractable roofs. Much better uniforms like vests, correct material textures, correct logo scaling and just pay attention to the details more (twins missing stripe, wrong A's road batting helmet, white stripes missing from road jays uniform all need fixed just to name a few)

I guess putting Manchester United in the game would've been an unfair advantage against the other teams. In Summation, I get a tingly feeling in my clavicle when I get a hit, so 9/10. Load times improved 2-3x, online play less laggy, fielding is more spot-on and results in less of the haphazard over-running the ball. Camera angle after you hit a ball is fun and more immersive.

Commentary is very much the same as last year. Most of the animations - the HR trots, pre-game introductions, high-fives after HRs - are the EXACT SAME as last year and even years prior.

Certainly a fun game, but little more than a roster update with a patch that improves lighting and fielding.

Great baseball game for sure, but I can't offer much in response when people ask if they should purchase this if they have last year's and don't care about the roster upgrade.

I guess my response is... they took a year making this and are taking advantage of PS4's power for the first time, and this is all they could come up with? meh. I wish sports games would attempt to change things up a bit. Madden and The Show have looked and played the exact same for the past few years despite the next-gen being here.

Overall a good game of baseball again, but like the Madden series before it, exclusivity has really killed off innovation with the Show. Toward the beginning of last gen (PS3), I bought the Show on a yearly basis and was impressed. My enthusiasm began to wane toward the end of last gen, and I began buying every other year. Now that I moved on to PS4, I gave the game a year hoping I would be blown away, but here we have a game that plays VERY similar to the last Show game I played (2011) and looks very similar as well. To me it just still doesn't feel as dynamic and unpredictable as the MVP series did years ago.

On the gameplay side, the game still plays very well. Most of the same mechanics and modes are still in place, and there are plenty of options for customizing controls. It just feels very same-y to me. As much as I love the sport, I need SOME innovation to keep me interested and slight additions just don't cut it anymore. If you have played the game in the last 8-9 years, you know exactly what to expect here. Maybe I still need to figure out the fielding after taking some years off, but I can't seem to get my fielders to not throw lazily every time. No matter how quickly or long I hold the throw buttons they take their time letting runners advance and reach in ridiculous situations. This is probably my biggest pet peeve right now. Also, the fielding window is very touchy and on deep flies the OF tends to line up behind the throw for a running/catch/throw, even when not needed. Many times they will lunge at the ball and miss it due to the locked in animation. The tags on close plays are also lazy and slow and frustrating. Like I said, I only have around 10 games in, so maybe this will work itself out. The game also seems to overdo the automation in certain aspects. If a foul is going to be just out of reach, it wont even give you control of the fielder. Once a play has been deemed complete by the computer, you are not allowed to move your fielder or throw. I miss the days of manually throwing around the horn or just running around getting used to the controls.

There are also quite a few little gameplay issues that are bugging me so far. I have had quite a few swings that I have guessed the correct pitch, time the swing perfect (with great feedback) and even got the correct ball location, yet the ball passes clear through the bat (and this is with a hitter like Miguel Cabrera). Not sure if they are just trying to randomize things or what, but that is unbelievably frustrating.I also had a couple clearly foul balls (a few feet wide of the foul pole) be called homeruns. The manufactured rallies by the computer are still there as well. Having a good game offensively? You can almost count on the computer generating a good rally within the next two innings regardless of your pitching. The loading times are also quite long and annoying here.

As for the visuals, they are clearly getting the most out of a 10 year old game engine, but it is starting to show its age. I remember when developers used to develop/license a new game engine when a new game generation started, now we have aging engines covering 3 full generations. The truth is, the Show was a gorgeous game last gen, yet to me I would say it is an average looking game this gen.

The highlight with the visuals is that the lighting is gorgeous. It truly reflects the seasons and time and day. The grass textures, uniforms, and some stadium textures look great as well. Unfortunately, many of the players look very weak, and hair especially looks terrible. The minor league stadiums (although a nice inclusion) look horrid compared the love shown to MLB parks. 2D flat building and environment textures make it look like an up-res'd PS2 game when playing in the minors. The game still has no body physics to speak of, and players will routinely phase through each other with no interaction. Ball physics are still the same and could use improvements as well. The animations have improved slightly, but there are still jerky tranistions and weird hiccups that kill the smoothness and immersion. The game also stutters quite bad during certain scenes which is odd for a game focused on a few characters at a time. C'mon guys, let's put some effort in and go with a new engine next year and drop the PS3. Sorry, but that's the only way we'll see innovation.

Overall, if you are like me and haven't played a MLB game in years, it is well worth a purchase. My low-ish score is more focused on the fact that this has been the same game for YEARS now. If they want to do minor tweaks and roster updates and charge a $30 upgrade fee, that is fine. To charge full price every year and not even bother to update the engine or make make any major improvements to the areas of physics or gameplay is insulting. I will hold my breath for a major overhaul next year, otherwise I will continue my plan of only buying the game every 3 or so year

I'm curious to find out what other players of this game look forward to most in the game. Personally, I have never touched or been interested in the "card game" mode; the Diamond Dynasty, one bit. And I haven't had much gripe about camera angles and shadow affects. But that's just me. Was the general user feedback to improve these areas? I think the RTTS is the clearly most enjoyable and unique mode for a player, but maybe I'm in the minority? Wondering if others are as disappointed as I am in the lack of RTTS evolution and improvement.

Anyways, yeah, just really frustrating and disappointing to go through another year with the same RTTS experience. It feels so bland now and just isn't very rewarding. I don't play online, too tedious, and I've never played the card games (again, maybe I'm in the minority). I may return the game at this point and cross my fingers that they revamp RTTS next year :/

BUGS: My first game a ground ball that is a perfect hit between the gap and the 1st baseman. The ball is looking to roll under the 1st base man's glove, giving me a base hit. But no, a miraculous bounce into the player's glove and there goes my first online game.

Diamond Dynasty: Now I am a sucker for these kinds of game modes, Building you're own fantasy lineup. But this game mode is nearly unplayable. It's different when your opponent decides to put down their controller during a game that has a time aspect to it, but baseball does not have a play clock or a shot clock, or even any time to it. After leading 6-0 coming into my half of the 4th inning and we then play a one person multiplayer game for an hour, all for 152 rank points and a bronze card. Fix it, if your opponent doesn't play for 5 mins, it should be an automatic forfeit.

Road to the Show: I love road to the show and especially the new carry over system. But the rookie showcase or whatever is still unplayable. God forbid you let up a run as a pitcher or hit under .500 you are instantly a late round player. How does this affect you're player? well you're potential gets a low grade then progression is unheard of with a D potential prospect, even though you play with him.

Franchise: Franchise is getting better every year, I actually enjoy it this year especially with the carry over feature. I have my all 90 plus overall Marlins team in 2018 back this year so I pumped to play that.

Save Carry Over: This is such a huge feature added, haven't seen any bugs in this feature but there is probably something that will come up.

Licensed Gear: I haven't really seen much of this because I haven't really unlocked anything yet, but I am excited for this.

I like this game, but it is about the same as last year. In the fact that it has digressed in some aspects and progressed in some aspects, but I give it a 7 of 10. Not sure what to think about this game so far, but i'm hoping that I enjoy it.

It's a roster update with some minor fixes and new things like 'improved fielding' and 'dynamic sun'. Sounds cool on the surface, but once the glamour of baseball season starting back up wears off you realize it's about the same game as last year. While that's still a good game there is just very little additions from a cheaper copy of last year. No new modes, nothing.

Into the next-generation on my PS4, I was looking forward to a new iteration of more improved graphics, added commentary and animation. But that's not what I got. It's the same graphics, same animation and practically the same commentary. The differences however, where bad in a way that they actually took away things I enjoyed in my '11 version and added things I don't enjoy.

I don't enjoy baseball trading cards; they're useless to me. I don't enjoy collecting useless items like rocks. Seriously, rocks. I also don't enjoy MICROTRANSACTIONS to help you level up faster. And I don't enjoy that it takes longer to earn points to level up in the first place thereby putting an emphasis on the need for SPENDING MORE MONEY. I don't enjoy that they took away my option to add my music into the game for walkups and relieving; but left me with about a dozen generic songs. And I most certainly don't enjoy the bland pitching style that they introduced at some point from now since the '11 iteration. Instead of placing the pitch, you just press "x" for the windup, and then hit "x" again for the release. It's like Madden NFL kick offs, except not as fun. And worse still, you don't start 0-0, but the game gives you a predetermined count of 1-2, or 3-1 for you to take over from. WTH? I'm the one who is suppose to be playing the game, not the computer. It doesn't feel like a realistic baseball game at all. In trying to steamline the game to make it move faster they took away animation of the crowd, other players and coaches. I want to see more cutscene animations of the ball park, and let me decide if I want to skip to the action. The Show just doesn't feel like a baseball game on tv anymore; which was what had the greatest appeal for me.

Also, there is way too many frame drops here. This isn't suppose to be happening! This game can't be any more graphically challenging to my PS4 than the "11 was to my PS3. And I never suffered through frame drops on the PS3. It's pretty horrendous and it's definitely a game breaker. In fact, I'm going back to my '11 because the newer version isn't any better graphic wise, and it certainly doesn't compare in game presentation. Cue up the AC/DC Back in Black song, boys! I'm stepping up to the mound to shut 'em down!

What I mean is... in Dynasty mode your team is pretty weak to start and coming from playing the franchise mode team which is good... It's just frustrating to move from one mode to the other because the players screw up so much and you can't do anything about it. It was impossible to stay interested.

The licensed gear is kinda cool but after so many hours of playing I have the same things I received when I first started playing ... you don't get any feeling that you are rewarded. In fact you can buy in game currency to buy packs of cards which might contain players or gear! wow! I spend $70 bucks on a game and you can't even give me in game upgrades without spending money? Without playing all the game modes you don't get lots of points to spend on packs of cards, very frustrating.

I rage quit a game recently because sometimes it's impossible to throw a strike... regardless of what you do. So I powered off the system and went outside. The game decides that next time I should get a reward... to strip me of the reward and make me feel bad for quitting. no reward for quitting. So then on top of the game screwing me over on pitching... it punishes my rage quit .... wow.

After the dust settles and you play a few modes... you will see all the crappy game designs and cash grabs. Wish I didn't buy it.

The best sports franchise returns again for another home run! Gameplay, graphics, simulation realism, all top-notch. As a hardcore player of franchise mode, I couldn't be more thrilled about edit-able contracts and the addition of trade finder. The menus look a lot better than last year's, and it's overall just a better game.

I mean, I get it - It's common knowledge when a trick run out of **** to do, they get behind a keyboard and take out their tantrums on the video game system they don't like.

BUT DAMN Hcliffed!?! I mean, it was hard enough to say "video game systems he didnt like" without shaking my head - but it's damn near heartbreaking when you realize how close to the truth I am. Trust me son; Life gets better - and one day, you'll look back and remember a time when you didn't find significance in fighting a video game war (lol SEE? Read it back to me. "Video game war." You get any medals for that? lol)

    On to the beef: I can tell you how much you'll like MLB The Show 15 by you asnwering one question;

Did you own MLB The Show 13 and still LOVE & ADORE MLB The Show 14? Yes? Then you'll more than likely LOVE MLB 15.

Were you disappointed with 14? Then, guess what? You run the gambit - Probably 50% chance you may be slightly to moderately disappointed with MLB15 - unless you're really looking out for subtle improvements - of which, there are plenty.

For me? Those subtleties? They add up - so skipping to the end - My conclusion is, it's a GREAT game (what an "8" really should be) and I'll be playing it all damn summer.

    Now...

    Is it ground breaking? No.

Is it an improvement? Oh yeah. How much? Depends on what you wanted.

If you asked me - Is The Show 15 the best baseball game on the planet? No question, yes - will be my answer - especially with the new logo editors and community content that we always get (OFSM - you KNOW what it is - cant wait for that OFSM to drop).

Was I disappointed on some levels? Yes. No doubt.

    1. No sounds of the show (LOVED Sounds of The Show for PS3; Loved having fat ass Griffey Junior coming out to NBN - That said? I'm quite sure we can blame Sony Music Unlimited; this is due to a PS4 hardware issue for lack of native mp3 support - nothing SD Studios could do about it sadly - still, I was hoping THEY'd of spurred change on behalf of SCEA).

    2. Not as much equipment as I was looking for - Also, with real equipment? I was hoping for real stadium ad's billboards and restaurant names. Still swing and a miss

    3. Lastly? I DO understand the complaint about the commentary. First of all; most people have NO idea how much it costs to pay for play by play commentary in A BASEBALL GAME. This aint Golf, Trick; But... Anyone who's been a fan of any team who had a truly great announcer (Dave Niehaus for me) knows how much personality it can give the sport. For me? I have just as much wonderful memories of baseball just listening to the radio call as I do watching it on TV. It can mean a lot - and yes! It's VERY expensive to voice a baseball game... but were not asking for every year, here. To me, I've felt like it's been the exact same for over 3 years. I know thats not %100 true; but if it's giving me that impression? They aren't doing enough to mix it up. You dont need a full new track every year but Im hoping they figure this out eventually. Inject more variety; even if you have to add to it bit by bit, every year.

There are a few more disappointments, but all relatively minor.

Otherwise? Its the Show 14; but faster, smoother, tighter, crisper, visually more impressive; Directional hitting? Love it pulling the ball on the right pitch inside; A real cut off man that AI runner will react to??? YES PLEASE. The ambiance? Is even better, and Im still not sure how its possible - and HOLY CRAP I can play online without desync in the 2nd inning?!?! Maybe I should give it a 9 for that alone (Did you FINALLY learn your lesson SCEA?)

But like many; my expectations were pretty high. Largely? They were met - I cant see this being any more than a 9; or any less than a 7, again depending on reasonable expectation, your objectivity and love of baseball. Could be higher - could be lower

A zero? A two? And you've never had to settle with 2k13 or RBI Baseball.

Now... If you've never had the show before? And say you LOVE baseball as much as the rest of us do?

Jesus... Boy, I WISH I was you - because if you jump into the show now? With MLB 15 being your first time? Your head is going to explode.

The rest of us? You already know what you're getting here. It's like.... the Show 11 was a birthday cake - and you know you can add a bit more icing, some sparkly candles - you can cut it however you want... it's still cake.

And it tastes better than last years cake.

Go pick it up - I promise you this, it's worth a try - not any less than eharmony is worth a shot to a console fanboy's chances of finally getting lai

A car that looks awesome but hasn't had an oil change in 50,000 miles isn't worth its book value. That's the best analogy I can make for this year's version of The Show. Despite having vast amounts of time to get their online play corrected, there has not been a single fix to any of the problems that have plagued Diamond Dynasty the last few years.

-Don't take a walk or allow your batter to get hit by a pitch. There is a GREAT chance that the game will freeze at that point, disconnect you eventually, and have a 50/50 chance of crediting you with a loss (even if you were up by 9 runs in the top of the 9th).

-Speaking of losses, there's a small chance that even if you win, the game will credit you with a loss. If you're opponent takes an entire 5 minutes of their allotted pause time (far to much to begin with) and you forfeit their game that could definitely give you a loss as well. This absolutely inexcusable. I've noticed this seems to happen only against people who have clearly spent a loooooot of extra money in order to buy a roster instead of actually playing the game and trying to level up with skill (hmmmmmmm).

-Want to exploit non-defensible advantages in the game that haven't been fixed in 3 years? This game's for you! Tap that bunt button over and over and over again to get in the way of your opponent;s pitching meter (you know, like batters do ALL THE TIME in real baseball). Even if you're reported, the devs won't do anything about it at all. I'm not even sure why they bothered making a reporting system. Seems to me that time could have been spent actually fixing their horrible servers.

-Want to steal a base but are afraid that your opponent will pitch out on you because you always try to steal a base all the time every time no mater what what what? No worries! Just try to run back to first after you see they've pitched out. Even though you're halfway to second and your opponents catcher has a 99 rated arm, you'll make it back far more often than not. Yay! Realism!

-Man, wouldn't it suck if you didn't know anything about batting? If you didn't realize that it's all about guessing which part of the plate the pitcher may throw towards? And that if you guessed wrong and swung low but they pitched reallllly high out of the zone you'd probably miss the ball completely because you're golfing and the ball is at eye level? Oh wait......that's not a problem at all again this year! Just keep that left trigger held down and hit the contact swing button! Because if you swing with a shorter stroke and at the ground, that totally makes up for the fact that you're not swinging where the ball is physically at. Realism!!!!!! You'll get a hit eventually. Maybe even a home run if you bought a roster because that's what's important. Oh, and don't fret about losing. Because even if you lose, you'll probably still get a win.

This years game feels more fluid, stellar graphics, brand sponsored apparel, more realistic baseball movements, and imo better and more fluid baserunning. Not to mention a way better menu setup. And i haven't even started to dig into the RTTS or the dynasty stuff yet.

I kinda wish they would change up the announcer every now and then or have guest announcers or something to change up the presentation a bit, but that's not a huge deal. I think the game is a 9 but i give it a 10 to balance out the nimrods who give it ridiculously low scores.

I'd give it a 10 except that I've found several gameplay bugs that affect play outcomes. And to me, a "10" is for the "perfect" game, and I don't think more than a handful in the history of gaming even exist.

tbh I've never understood people rating an annual franchise game badly because there's very little change from the previous version like it's a big shock to them. I mean, they give it "Big Rig"-level ratings for awfulness. LOL The online coverage of every major game is SO thorough pre-release nowadays that you know EVERY detail about it before it's even out, or you're intentionally NOT reading anything about it. And yet, they are "surprised" by how similar it is. Just a bit of friendly advice: DON'T BUY IT. In Road to the show my fielders cannot field the simplest ground balls. the second baseman throws the ball about 20 rows into the stands when throwing to first. It takes 40 minutes or more to play a game, if you are on the short end of a blow out in the 2nd inning,
do you want to waste 40 minutes of life watching Joe Game Expert pound you into submission!!

This type of game outcome is common place, to some a 3 run lead in the 1st inning is the blowout handwriting on the wall,
and I not only cannot blame people for quitting, I have joined them.

Frustrating to the dominates of the mode, and with good reason they will complain.
I won't change and expect to see more "momento for quitting" cards in lieu of a real player card,
coming from the game creators following a "quit".
There are many other flaws to the DD mode that move people to quit a game, many are in game antics that exploit frustration.
The players you field in DD, to me, have little effect in a game mode that is much more about gamers skill.
The pitching is truly outstanding but is so overpowering to the uninitiated that it makes DD a no fun mode.

Another feature is the Homerun Derby on line, short in length and
very fun to compete with your "Miggy" against their "Stanton", but,
the game crashes as often as it finishes,
and results in so many "unplayed" matches, it is, in the end, an exercise in futility.

Overall the MLB15 is a big disappointment, the most playable modes are all offline modes,
and most are equalled or exceeded by minimal graphics games like
OOTP Baseball,or Baseball Mogul both PC games.

First of all, there are little to no glitches left in the game. In MLB 14 I would get pink screens, game crashes, and weird clipping glitches. So far the games has not done any of that. There is a huge focus on diamond dynasty mode this year, and it's a fun distraction from the typics road to the show and franchise mode. Overall all the core game modes remain the same so if you're looking for innovation it might be better to hold off. My biggest complaint is that road to the show ultimately remains the same. The people at the show should really consider adding a story or more depth the the game mode. I am also hoping that maybe one day they'll add a make your own ballpark and create a team mode, but for now it's wishful thinking. To wrap things up, the Show still prooves it does baseball right, but with the lack of innovation it's closer to going down the road of Madden, with every installment being a roaster update. Expand

I LOVE BASEBALL! So don't get me wrong on that. This game however, it just seems like the more it tries to be realistic, the more it fails. My favorite baseball games of all time are MVP Baseball 2005 by EA Sports, and Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball 1997 for N64, because of the amount of stuff you can do in the game and with the game. My biggest gripe with all of the Show games, is the fact that it's more a simulator and not a game, no matter how you try to manipulate it, no matter how you try to play your way, the game just REFUSES to let you do play your way or listen to you.

Here's the thing, I could make the game as easy as pie, yet the game is still hard to play, it's still hard to hit the ball after all these years, the pitching meter doesn't do jack for accuracy, and no matter how good your pitcher is, I can strike out 27 batters, but never get a no-hitter or perfect game, something I can do on MVP or Griffey baseball. It's like the more you try to mess with the options in game (or rosters for that matter), the more the game hates you. So here's a question, if a game doesn't like it when you mess with it, WHY GIVE ME THE OPTION TO MESS WITH IT!

On a more nitpicky note, The most annoying thing about this game is trying to adjust the rosters, every time I adjust the bullpen I would select a player and try to move him, only for either a different player to move, or nothing would happen at all. This has been going on since the FIRST MLB THE SHOW GAME! Something the developers NEVER FIXED!

Another gripe I have with the game is Road to the Show mode, I have never played such a broken mode in my life, playing defense is next to impossible, the controls are unresponsive (AGAIN! THIS IS NEXT GEN! DEVELOPERS SHOULD'VE FIXED THIS BY NOW!), and the camera is GOD AWFUL!

All this game is good for is keeping up with the rosters of baseball, that's it.

Never ever get these games. These are the worst video games I have ever played. This game glitches all of the time, it sucks, the players are in accurately rated and all this game does is cause stress. Also the MLB 2k games were much better but the show rant them out business.

Very little has changed from last year to this years game. The core gameplay is still good but you can tell alot of the animations and audio is carried over from last year. There are many legends to get and use once the collections are complete and they are available from the start which is very nice. You have a choice to pay for stubs and get the guys you want from the beginning or earn them over time. You get free cards after playing games , doing homerun derbies, community challenges as well as earn stubs. They also update the cards weekly based off there performance on the field in the real life which is great imo. Very deep and addicting game mode.

    - I also love that if you may friends who are still on the ps3 system , you may play against them in homerun derbies , a nice touch imo.

    - The franchise mode is very deep and with the right people very fun , you can skip ahead to play games with users who are available to play ,so you don't have to wait on each opponent as they come on your schedule.

    - The graphics are amazing rather its on field or the crowds ,stadium detail etc.

I hope they keep this progress up in the future as this game is now added to my yearly purchases.

MLB 15: The Show is a great game with a big problem. The game is a blast to play and very addictive. However, there are so many glitches that it almost takes away from the experience.

MLB the show was generally a good game. It was better than I expected, and was probably as close as you can get to a realistic baseball game. It is challenging, and it is worth the buy if you are a baseball fan. If you are not a baseball fan, I'd advise you don't make the purchase. Great addition to a great simulation series. I did expect more additions and fine tuning this year and that is why I rated this game a 7. You will also see at bats change over the course of the game. if you have a base knock on that pitcher's fastball, expect to see his secondary pitches next time. Not to mention reading body language for runners stealing and the best 'be a pro' mode in all of sports games in general! The complete package. Expand

In my opinion as far as gameplay goes it is easily the most realistic of all the MLB the show games. One thing that really stands out to me as to why the game has such a realistic gameplay is the hitting aspect. In past MLB games most people just used X to swing regular and maybe square to power swing with a big power hitter. In this version they have came up with three different approaches to hitting, regular, power, and contact swing. Being able to choose and execute use these three really makes it feel like real life situations and having more control where you hit the ball regardless to the pitch location. The other realist difference maker is the drag bunting. As I'm an advocate for some small ball being played in previous games the drag bunt wasn't very realistic. It was almost impossible to successfully execute a drag bunt down the first base line or to the second baseman even with the fastest players in the league. With the new gameplay a lefty can place a drag bunt past the pitcher and towards the second baseman for a base hit which is what the games best bunters do. Expand

For someone playing the series for the first time the commentary will sound pretty good. However those who do so year after year are sick and tired of hearing the same things and not having the emotion from the announcers to match the big moments. It's well past time for SCEA to make a change in this area.

Baseball simulation became even better but I still think it’s not the best sport to turn into a video game. There are just too many nuances – how you grip the bat, how your wrist works etc. – that are impossible to recreate. [07/2015, p.61]

With enough updates to keep you going for the next year, superb graphics and the ability to import your saves from the previous versions, The Show 15 probably is the best baseball game out there.
