    This is a solid 1st person shooter. Despite the top notch graphics, this game is let down by loading times. Come on Deep Silver you can do better! 4 minutes of loading time on my PS4. Such a wasted opportunity. Graphics 10/10, Audio 9/10, Gameplay 8/10, Loading times 0/10.

    Really wanted to like this game... I've enjoyed the previous installments so figured this would be pretty solid. The game is obtuse and the world design is just boring. Half the time you are wondering around wondering where the heck you are supposed to go and then when you do enter combat it just isn't that exciting. Wish I could sell this, but alas it's on PC.

A diferencia de los juegos anteriores a Metro exodus, este cierre de la trilogía me dejo un sabor agridulce, principalmente por el hecho de implementar un mundo "abierto" mal desarrollado, el hecho de no mantener la línea de metro 2033 y last ligth hizo que este juego de calle era bastante, sobre tofo al tratarse de su historia, la cual tienen demasiado altibajos y por más que el juego se llame "Metro la inmersión en el mismo es casi nula, ha decir verdad como cierre de la trilogía me parece que cumple en el sentido de jugabilidad, y gráficos, aunque esto se ve opacado por un mal rendimiento lo cual hace que al fin y al cabo el juego no no sea mediocre, pero no es para nada un vídeojuego de 10.… Expand

    This game is very mediocre. Story is ok, nothing groundbraking or really inspiring. Gameplay is mediocre at best. Not a great shooter and a very poor stealth game. Graphics is sometimes nice, but character animation is very poor. Generally, it’s not very bad, but there are better games to waste your time on.

    Metro loses its key franchise identity, with exodus. By spending most of the game outdoors, you lose all sense of danger. As the two previous games had a nice dynamic between the confined metro stations and the dead world above. The story is ok if not predictable.     Un juego del que esperaba más sinceramente. El juego adolece de una cantidad de bugs impresionante (enemigos que se mueven después de muertos, armas que desaparecen y disparas con la mano, cámara insufrible en la furgoneta etc.) Lo más destacable del juego es su historia y sus escenarios que dan la sensación de confinamiento y la atmósfera es absorvente.

Диалоги, кат-сцены и пр. отлично с этим справляются, но все ломает то, что ГГ опять немой. Из минусов - это все тот же геймплей метро, состоящий из унылых перестрелок и еще более унылого стелса, тем кто играл, я думаю, не нужно объяснять как это все это выглядит.Из плюсов - атмосфера, попытки сделать так, чтобы игрок был больше погружен в происходящее вокруг себя и вжился в роль ГГ.     Два полковника лютый кал: унылая “трогательная” история про охуенное взаимопонимание этих двух хуесосов не впечатляет, геймплей это просто жопа, в начале полчаса ходишь по вонючим коридорам, поджигаешь аналог паутины и мобов, которые выскакивают на секунду, при этом охуенно дамажа, потом смотришь криво сделанные геймплейные катсцены, потом идет еще более кривой и жалко выглядящий экшн с перестрелками (сначала валит толпа, которая по тебе не стреляет, потом надо прятаться за укрытием, вставать и стрелять минуты две), в конце полчаса ходишь, постреливая мутантов и в самом конце супер убогая и кривая драка с боссом-гориллой, это просто пиздец. Короче, взяли одну из самих мерзких локаций из оригинала, и в этом была ошибка (вторая худшая локация используется во втором длц). Лучше бы сделали мясной шутер в Ямантау, в это хотя бы играть было бы фаново и интересно.Самоповторы, отсутствие фантазии, хохлы - это вся суть серии метро. Длц (а на фоне них, кстати, оригинал смотрится прямо таки шедевром) полностью убедили меня в том, что 4А самая худшая и бездарная гейм девелопмент компания в СНГ. Плюс ко всему какая-то нелепая антикоммунистическая пропаганда, прикол в том, что тамошние “коммунисты” были намного адекватнее их противников. Единственный плюс заключается в том, что ГГ перестал молчать. 0/10

    История Сэма тоже говно, правда выпустили в открытый мир и была прикольная сцена с пьянкой. Но если бы они сделали так, что они бы в итоге бухали с этим мутантом я бы поставил 10, а так только 1/10    … Expand

    It was fun to play. Graphics were very good aswell. But the reason to why it isn't a positive review is because there is an insane number of bugs. Some gamebreaking ones aswell

    The least favorite of the Metro series. Something is missing that the first two episodes offered. On standard pS4 it suffers from framerate drops.

    This game would have been good 10 years ago but doesn't hold up today. For starters the story just felt a bit generic and didn't bring anything to the table that we haven't already heard somewhere else. The mechanics felt really dated and were the exact same as other titles in the series. Ontop of that so many times I would shoot a target and would somehow miss? Melee is basically useless so if you run out of bullets just run away and find some cos melee is weak and never hits the target. You have a knife but it hits with your gun for some reason aswell? This is subjective but I wish we had actual cutscenes and your character spoke. Atleast then this game would offer with previous titles didn't. Another thing I found weird was that by default controller speaker is off in settings? Why would you not have the PlayStation features on by default? Look acceleration sucks and you can't disable it. I prefer games in a lower sensitivity but this game is low even with it turned right up. Loading screens are long even on Ps5 with SSD. Sometimes the game would be a bit buggy like getting stuck in places and stuff. It's free on PS plus premium thou so play it on there lol.… Expand

    Its a good stealth game, graphically stunning. Havent played the first two. As a shooter the game is not so good, since you die with 2 bullets, its hard to stealth too since most of your weapons alert enemies. And if you see a bat mutant flying around and you decide to fight it, prepare to lose every ammo and resource you have, because these things never die.

    Frustrating. I have completed the 1st 2 games & enjoyed them, but I think I'm going to have to cut this one short before I finish it after getting to the 3rd open area. Too many design features make this annoying to play. I want to like it & find small bits of enjoyment out of it but then it gets in its own way again. Waypoints & compass system are a pain to use. Small bugs like notFrustrating. I have completed the 1st 2 games & enjoyed them, but I think I'm going to have to cut this one short before I finish it after getting to the 3rd open area. If you turn the volume up then you're just getting blasted with the gunfire & monsters sqeeling at you. At other times the speech is fine, but even with adjustment it doesn't help. Then there's the giant sybox bug in the 3rd open area which is hilariously 4th wall breaking.

    This is my personal opinion & I'm sure there will be enjoyment for the right people, but I don't have the patience to deal with this game anymore.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Metro Exodus gets a lot right, but unfortunately it gets a lot more wrong. Let's start with graphics. The graphics didn't stun me like they stunned a lot of people (I'm running on a GTX 970 on a 1080p 27" monitor while the game was on Ultra), and at times it felt pretty bland. The textures are high in quality, but the design of enemies and environments is pretty bland. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. A post-apocalyptic world with lots to see, and it was very pretty to look at. The character design wasn't the best I've seen, but certainly not the worst either. Really just average, but for a franchise that typically boasts benchmarking I just don't see it.

    The story seems very forces, particularly in the delivery of the characters and voice acting. The main character is fed up that no one else believes there's more to the world outside of Moscow and Metro. In true dreamer fashion, he can't be contained and continues to explore the world until he and his wife see a train. Bam, they aren't alone. He gets shot point blank, falls 20 feet, gets fallen on by two other corpses (who were shot and fell from the same distance), only to get back up, pop a medkit, and roll on out. The character drone on and on in no interesting fashion at all. They want you to complete side missions for them like grabbing a guitar and a doll for them. In other words, put yourself in "danger" and I'll make it worth your while with a gun upgrade or something.

    Combat is nothing innovative. If you've played most modern day fps games, you'll slide right in. That's not a negative either. I found that the combat was pretty seamless and I enjoyed the rare times I got to shoot some people up. It's really stealth that leaves me scratching my head. Typical "crouch in a shadow and the AI wont see you" deal here. You can be right next to an enemy, and if you're crouched in stealth you're as good as shadow. I'd trade the stealth mechanic for more ammo and more enemies.

    On another note, I had really thought there would be more mods for the game. Most all the mods I've seen have been reshades to make a pretty game look even prettier.

    Metro Exodus is a very average experience. It hasn't pushed into a new realm of innovation. This game feels old, mostly due to the predictable development of the story, when you think something may happen, it does every single time. Their is a massive lack of imagination with the crafting of the core game play, the way in which you interact with objects feels 15-20 years old. One ofMetro Exodus is a very average experience. Everything executed with an old-bulky rusted engine - meh!

    I can't see how people enjoy this - maybe it's the same way people also enjoy trash-movies or love to waste their time with hours and hours of stupid TV-Shows that never reach any point of anything...    … Expand

    Metro Exodus picks up right after the events of Metro 2033 while this furthers the story the game is lack luster at best, while we do get a very much needed QOL improvement in the back pack allowing players to change Only their equipped weapons attachments something that the community has been requesting for Years now. Thats literally it. Everything else about the game is the same from the previous two installments unless you want to count a reskinned arrow launcher over hte first two games. While Im still going to try my damnedest to enjoy this game it has some major flaws that if it wasn't for these I would be rating much higher. I am referring to unskippable cut scenes and having spent the first 20minutes of the game either in a cut scene, stuck in some dialog or stuck in a room unable to move until these NPCs quit circle jerking each other which happened multiple times in just the first 20minutes of game play of which only a minute possibly two were spent actually playing the game having gotten up to go make food, use the facilities or other wise walk away from some boring conversation filler/fluff. This includes the "Hay Artoyms back lets let everyone give a high five" like we all just got done with a big bro fest *shutters as flash backs of high school ensue* This lazy mans attempt of caricature writing seems entirely to optimistic in a world that can only be defined as apocalyptic and dystopian living off of rats and pickled eggs yet were all smiling and not grown men battle hardened crying praying for green fields blue skies a wind without the bitter cold of nuclear radiation and the bitter taste of acid rain that would melt any amount of protective outer wear. Also the beginning seems well lets call it far fetched at best and absurd at worst see the hero returning only to be interrupted by his own people as if the events in the first two games either completely didn't happened or are just being ignored as they literally open fire on Artoym the very person that saved them all.

    And while I havn't gotten to the point where I have Night Vision I can already assume that the same Night Vision Goggles affect exists in this game as it did in the previous incarnations where they all have this weird charging sound when you turn it on for god knows what reason, with the same limited visibility even in the dark having night vision that cant see past 10-15 meters in front of you is not how you do night vision all the while not showing light reflected or refracted off of surfaces like walls all you see is the source in this over overwhelmingly bright greenish white and gray hue, again im assuming that this yet another thing they havn't changed.

    Lastly of course while im nit picking everything thats wrong lets not miss the fact that the game should be called Metro 22,000 as the half life of Plutonium 239 (The main element used in nuclear weapons) has a have life of 22,000Years+- I assume that 2033 or "The Years Following" were more catchy to a focus group?    … Expand

    I don't understand why everyone is so hyped about this game. i'm playing on a gtx 1080 :
    - graphics, mechanics, bugs and glitches are like I'm playing a game from 2012.
    - the acting it's like you are watching a movie on nikelodeon.

    save your money for other games

    These are a mixed bag. Generally they are good, yet nothing special either. The first few hours I managed to tolerate involved grey and bland environments that I frequently got lost in due their sheer blandness.

    Gameplay:
    Again, nothing special. You point and shoot your gun, with some inconsistencies in accuracy and damage. They attempted the Resident Evil approach of having limited ammunition but forgot that RE wasn't set in an open-world, making Metro's survival approach incompatible with their open world. Furthermore, far too often I was left without a clue as where to go next. The map wasn't made obvious until several hours into the game, by which point I had already experienced exasperation. Many other games have executed the concepts in Metro more successfully.

    Story:
    Some daughter of some commander is married to you but gets kidnapped and all hell ensues. Or something. The story is a bit incoherent or non-existent at first. Can't review it holistically as I was deterred after a few hours into the game.

    Conclusion:
    It's very easy to dismiss a review such as mine through noting I haven't played the whole game, however this is exactly why it can be argued as being an average or bad game - it did little to make me want to play it further. It was cumbersome and a chore to play, which is rather counterintuitive to the premise of videogames in general. Avoid this unless you're desperate for another open-world romp, and only then at a lower price.    … Expand

    Pretty much from the start, the gameplay is clunky and slow compared to the enemies. Controls don't work and it takes several tries just to reload your damn weapon.     Anyway, it was pretty obvious after an hour what I was in for, so deciding to remit this title back to Redbox. Really glad i didn't purchase this thing after seeing the cool trailers.    … Expand

    It's an average to just below average game tbh. Story is dull, voice acting isn't great & audio is all over the place. It looks good in most places, but it's really nothing to be wowed about & has definitely been downgraded. It all feels so slow & boring with exception to the odd moment. I wanted to like it but it's just pretty lame next to most other to aaa games.

    Being a big fan of this series i went with high expectations games still great but kinda frame drops and the endless conversation kills me and ps4 frame drop ruins the gameplay so far resident evil 2 was a better game of 2019

    Metro Exodus is a poorly optimized average shooter back from 2009, but with the graphics of 2019. Although the last chapter of this game brings THAT atmosphere of the old Metro games back, it's not enough to justify the rest of its content.

The AI, both soldiers and monsters is terrible, yes, TERRIBLE. I am very disappointed.     - terrible engine (like worse than Skyrim before the SE version came out), like how is that possible for a 2019 game?

    The only thing i enjoyed about this game was the characters. And i played this on PS5 with the upgrades. Very meh game.

    I really enjoyed the first two games in this series and played both of them twice all the way through. I rarely write good or bad reviews unless I have a good reason. I almost gave this game a 1/10. I have two gigantic problems with this game.

    First, the inexusable load times. It takes 4 minutes to boot up and about 40 seconds to reload a quick save.     First, the inexusable load times. It takes 4 minutes to boot up and about 40 seconds to reload a quick save. I can live with 40 seconds to a point, but when I trip, fall and die and have to reload the game, well, I don't want to be constantly staring at a loading screen. Second, the game is littered with glitches--the worst of which--the game freezes and has to be reloaded--that's 4 more minutes of staring at the screen. And it happened far too often. The game has been out an entire year--inexusable.

    The story is passable, the gameplay actually works well enough (although I didn't like the sniper scope) and the graphics and sound are fine. There are some boring but skippable dialogue parts, so that's forgivable. The upgrade system is nice and I liked the crafting. People complaining about running out of resources need to simply play smarter. This is a survival game that rewards smart choices. I liked the scarce resources; it made the game challenging. However, the open world aspect felt kind of unecessary, and could be a bit boring. The missions were fun, I have to admit.

    If the game didn't freeze and if the load times were significantly faster I would probably give the game an 8.5/10 based off of what I played. Got pretty deep into the Caspian area before I quit. I found some upgrades for my sniper rifle and the game froze every time I tried to install them.

    In conclusion, the game is unplayable for me in it's current state. There is a good game hidden in there somewhere, but the frustration of long load times and glitches forces me to give the game a very generous 4/10. What a bummer.    … Expand

    I wanted to give this game a higher score but it is unplayable on my ps4 pro. It is without a doubt not optimized well at all, and runs at maybe 24 frames per second. I had to put it down.

    So I'm new to metro played the first 2 this week and completed them to prep for exodus and I LOVED them! However exodus just won't click for me! I've never played a game with such clunky and slow controls! Severe lack of ammo and to Craft it is extortion! Awful game!

    Its unoriginal, buggy. The enemy AI is lame, the animation clunky, and the gunplay and story very very average.

Instead of being solely linear now, the game allows for a little bit of non linearity which is great imo. What isn't great are the goddamn clunky controls and gameplay.     1. Total unresponsive control pretty much all the time
    2. Ridiculous (at best) A.I. - Enemies surrendering and just staying and not responding to you passing by them and just waiting for a punch or a knife in the throat is just idiotic..
    3. Respawning enemies at places you already cleared with a lot of effort while resources are already cleared is just beyond me,
    4. Whoever made the close combat in the way it is right now - you failed miserably.. worst close combat hits probably ever. You swing like crazy while doing nothing 2/3rds of the time and finally getting killed with two hits yourself cuz obviously the ghoul is just chillin on the ground from the first hit and all other swings are drawing blood from the air. WORST close combat ever.
    4a. Gunplay and ESPECIALLY throwing knifes is just out of this world stupid.. probably the top frustrating thing in this game is to try and throw a knife on anything that moves even a bit.. if its not a person sitting in place who u can kill either way with a sneak, you will lose a hell lot of knives that just dissapear after they get thrown at something..
    5. Open world which is not exactly an open world - you are pushed to go at places on a schedule and going somewhere just to wander around is pointless cuz of course you waste all resourses and you will be there in an hour forward in progress when there is someone who wasnt there in the free roam of course.
    5a. Roaming around is absurd with the forementioned obstacles mostly because mutants are ridiculously strong and ammo consuming which leaves you pretty soon with the forementioned close combat, which means death by the second or at best third mutant that jumps u.
    I play every game on hard or at least one level of difficulty over normal and this game almost made me go on easy so that I can at least go around and see something on the far end of the map without being killed 56 times in a row!!!
    6. About dying - you will die a lot in this game and the worst thing about that is not dying per se or losing progress cuz the game saves every other minute, BUT THE FRICKIN LOADING TIME ..........
    Be killed or die by a 2m high jump - half a minute at least loading time.. and I thought AC Odyssey was whack on that part..... So last light had like 3 seconds loading time after u die but now - oh boy
    that is just crazy. Not to mention the game got u saved in the middle of some fight that is about to go down and u got no ammo cuz of course u dont - you die 3 times in a row and you already wanna turn the ps off just cuz u already lost touch with the game form all this time you are on your phone waiting for the game to load..... Crazy..
    And last BUT DEFINITELY not least - The game has so many BUGS its just sad.. I got in so many unbelievable situations its just not funny at all... people levitating, crawling thru a hole and not able to get back up just crawling outside the map for minutes, objects falling thru houses and walls, monsters teleporting and such.. They got it a week early for what? To showcase all the bugs in time?

    I leave aside the cringy dialogs, the AC Odyssey type of bad voice acting, the bad and ugly map which only purpose is to confuse u even more and it gets bananas overall.

    Reading reviews and ecpecting scores in metacritic for a long long time, i never really expected to post a review, not to say that long atleast but this game dissapointed me a lot and the fact that it feels old when it should be a blockbuster of a game is just sad.

    Анимация NPC — удивительно видеть такое в ДВЕ ТЫСЯЧИ ДЕВЯТНАДЦАТОМ году.

I haven't played any of the other Metro games, but in comparison to other FPS, this game is about as clunky as they come: movement speed is comically slow for the setting, weapon aiming is some of the worst in the last decade, button layout is overcomplicated, and traversing the open world quickly becomes an exercise in avoiding scenery so your avatar doesn't get stuck on invisible objects or protrusions. In these respects, it feels as though it bears more in common with Fallout than a more traditional FPS.

    The voice acting for the English dub isn't the worst I've heard on this generation, but the low quality dialoging and the editorial choices to overlap character dialogue result in conversations that are far from convincing or compelling. In large conversations, or conversations where other dialogue is taking place behind a wall or in another room, the important information becomes difficult to distinguish from the background content. It's not an inherently bad choice to do overlapping audio, but it needs to be executed such that the important dialogue is always louder than less important dialogue - a technique called side-chaining. This is made worse by the subtitles that are in a difficult color with little effort put into distinguishing speakers from one another.

    These are really a shame as the underlying story is interesting and something I'd like to get involved in. I'm not sure that the gameplay will allow me to really invest myself in the world the way I'd like to. I constantly feel as though my immersion is being broken, in part by the mechanics that are intended to increase immersion. For instance, rather than providing a radar with a location or quest indicator, the game provides you with a map that is referenced in real time. More often than not, you end up wandering around a location with no idea where to go next trying to find some object to open a door or a boat to climb into. It's deeply immersion breaking, and results in an unpleasant playing experience.

    Perhaps the worst of all these issues, though, is the nauseating field of view. I do not get motion sick, I do not have issues playing fast motion games, I do not have issues watching shaky cam movies. This game, however, makes me ill. Not only is it nauseatingly narrow, it actually makes it difficult to see what's happening in the environment around you: enemies will pop out of your FOV with no notice, objects will protrude and make contact with the player avatar but never actually broach into the FOV, and scripted movements like climbing, "swimming", and rowing the boat all create a distinct sea-sick feeling. It's perhaps the most pronounced failure of FOV I've seen this generation, and the lack of any FOV slider may actually be so bad as to be considered game breaking.

    I absolutely do not recommend this game for PS4 in its current state. It's clearly not had the amount of time necessary to optimize it for consoles, and I thin there have been many creative decisions made that exchange quality gameplay for excellent graphics. I have no idea if any of the issues outlined will be fixed, or it patches are something 4A does with any regularity, but there's a host of glaring problems in the game that need to be addressed before this is worth much more than $30.    … Expand

    Then the gameplay. I don't like the open-world setting in this game, I think a guided tour like the previous ones would be more fitting. Half the time I don't know where to go and the other half I'm either walking through swamps or killing annoying enemies throughout the trip.

    In conclusion, the game looks beautiful. The setting is great, the characters are mostly understandable, I like the Slavic accents, the world and the story is interesting, but the gameplay and controls are bad.    … Expand

Honestly it been a bad generation for FPS and this was one ofvthe worst. The only good things I can say is they tried some new idead, but failed at all of them.

    You quickly learn the truth of the world and wonder why and how it was hidden from you. You then basically take point at getting everything important done by yourself, because you're an action game protagonist. It's like everyone else in your company is useless.

    After about my 5th trip of going out into the world alone to get something absolutely necessary for my company to succeed, which involves fighting mindless monsters or random humans who attacked me on sight for no reason, I got tired of it and put it down.

    At least the game is pretty. It's got a photo mode and will make sure you don't forget it.    … Expand

    С самого начала игры складывается впечатление, что это не шутер, а фильм. Ролики пропускать нельзя, первый час игры просто сидишь и смотришь в экран. Не хватает терпения дождаться саму игру. Короче, бесит!

    I got sold to this game because of the graphics, I guess. But what a mistake this was. I'd rather roll around in sh*t than play this game again. The loading times are absolutely atrocious. Horrible gameplay. Bad sound. Characters get stuck in walls. It was simply a very bad experience overall and I'm not that hard to please. I have no clue why so many people like this game.

    Terrible controls, terrible npc animation, terrible gun feeling. I didn’t even complete the story because game is a **** piece of trash. The only good moment is ruined Moscow, and first person cut scenes.

    This game is utter trash. The loading times are atrocious, there are way too many glitches, and the story sucks. To get the "good ending" in this game, you have to play like a saint and not kill anybody in "certain" areas that the game doesn't tell you. The game play is just meh, stealth and gun play is fine, but boss fights are miserable. Don't buy this game if you value your sanity.

Про оригинальную (!) озвучку лучше вовсе промолчу: так разве что с 3-летними разговаривают.     I love metro games, i was enjoying a lot previous metro games on ps4, but in metro exodus sensitivity is horrible, it makes it unplayable and only thing i feel is frustration. Developers, please, fix it, sensitivity in your game... Its just a totally mess.

    I emailed the developers asking if they could give me an option to turn off motion blur as it's really bad for me in this game and what did they do they only gave options for low, medium etc and even on low motion blur after 15 mins it was impossible for me to play.     1) Графика вообще не поменялась, по сравнению с прошлыми частями.
    2) Анимация персонажей тоже неизменна
    3) Упоротые тайминги в диалогах персонажей
    4) Озвучка персонажей сделана словно ПТУшниками (Да, знаю, что не ПТУ, а колледж).
    5) В диалогах часто присутствуют лишние символы и "очепятки". Очень неприятно читать, когда в диалоге присутствуют знаки ">", словно диалог скопировали из текстового редактора и вставили игру, даже не проверяя за собой работу.
    6) Управление очень рваное и дерганое, никакие настройки не помогают.
    7) Просто достал баг с нерабочим фонариком (он просто не горит, а зарядка динамомашиной не происходит). Нет, рядом нет радиации, нет запретной зоны! Разработчики просто спешили быстро-быстро сдать проект и забить на него
    8) Очень часто в темных помещениях при резком повороте возникают фиолетово-синие артифакты ( Миссия, где спасаем Анну из бункера ).
    9) Последний гвоздь в крышку гроба вогнали баги с НПС, застревающими в текстурах. Катя застряла у входа в "Аврору" и не давала зайти. Из-за автосохранения перед этим моментом пришлось загружать сохранение в самом начале уровня.
    10) Про притормаживания и жуткие проседания в фпс на PS4 Pro вообще молчу. Как попадаешь в дым, так и начинаешь играть в пошаговую стратегию.
    11) Пропадают патроны для "Тихарь". Было 51 + 9 шариков, погибаю, загружаюсь и уже резко 10+9.

    Итог: игру отложил на полку, буду ждать пару месяцев, может хоть в людской вид приведут. Очень обидно, очень!    … Expand

Политизированность, медлительность главного героя, УЖАСНАЯ озвучка (я не так давно купил приставку, играл во все эксклюзивы инглиш онли и после the last of us видеть это - просто ад..). Немой гг до кучи, сюжет не драйвит, а лишь ставит вопросы "почему?-ведь это так глупо) Некоторые сюжетные элементы членов экипажа высосаны из пальца, в них не веришь (не говоря за "казахскую линию" и такую же "любовную" на коленке в тайге). Господи, я хотел набросать быстрое ревью, но это игра настолько плоха, что поток моего негодования не заканчивается.     Playing this game feels like playing an early PS3-game. Everything feels so clunky. I had high hopes for this game but I was very disappointed. Garbage!

    Play this on PC, not on console. The input delay is horrendous and makes aiming an absolute chore. Aim acceleration is enabled by default on the default preset (4) but using preset 2 removes that, although the input delay is still there. One of the most important aspects of any video game is being able to control things fluidly, and this game does the opposite of that. I love the MetroPlay this on PC, not on console.     Loved 1 & 2 but this is literally unplayable. It's clunkier than any game made should be. He slows down as soon as he even looks at a blade of grass, and the input lag is just horrid. Push r3 to run n it takes 3-5 seconds to kick in. Did the critics even play the same game? How has it got 80%??? What is going on?

    I really wanted to like this game. The story is good and the graphics even on my base PS4 are fantastic, but during the Taiga mission, I just gave up. It's not an open game contrary to what they make you think. You are constantly wasting ammo on stupid critters that serve not purpose and so by the time you have a boss fight, you have no ammo or health that you can craft so you are inI really wanted to like this game.     Made a metacritic account just to say how disappointed I am with this game. Bought on the PS Store so can't even trade it in, just deleted it after forcing myself to play half the game. It's dreadful, story is boring and long winded to the point you forget what you're actually doing the mission for! Controls are awful and game is clunky. Only giving it a 2 because the idea is good but soMade a metacritic account just to say how disappointed I am with this game.     A real dissapointment there is no 60fps mode on pro. The push for 30fps was a horrible idea. It feels like a slideshow. 30fps in a shooter is downright unplayable.

    So glad I rented this POS. Terrible controls *even with newest patch* and terrible AI. I got to Caspian and had enough. No idea how people rated this game so highly. Game is ugly, voice acting is atrocious. This is not even worth a rental.

This is the second time I ditch a game so fast in this gen (RDR2 was the first).

    I love the concept behind this game but it is littered with inexcusable voice acting, the plot point is hard to follow mostly because I sit there cringing at the terrible Russian accents, my cat could do a better job, and all the npcs talk over each other.
    I don’t understand the gameplay. It’s like playing rainbow 6 siege on a dail up connection as you sprey your targets with limited ammo and they kill you with one shot or claw.
    I don’t mind the open linear approach to any game but this feels like a lie. It encourages you to play safe. If you go up against more than one enemy you are going to die. The game then rewards you further by taking an age to reload.
    I really wanted this to be an amazing game, but for me it’s not. I think I’ll be doing an early trade in and going for far cry new dawn instead.    … Expand

    bored because maps too big, why is that a bad thing? it's not like they are boring empty maps, there's plenty to explore and enemies are everywhere, i'm only on the first big map of the game where it's all snow and the train stops. haven't found myself wondering around with nothing to do yet

    Having moved the action away from the dark tunnels of Moscow's underground onto a train, going into the unknown and forced to make stops throughout the journey, Metro Exodus' authors created a memorable interactive adventure consisting of happiness from discovering love and grief from irreplacebale loss, hope of better future and despair from understanding the truth. On top of that one might call Exodus a distorting mirror that reveals the most horrible sins of mysterious Russian soul: heresy and servilism.

    Overall, Metro Exodus is an enjoyable shooter. Taking Metro out of the Metro is a good move for the series, but the game still provides plenty of claustrophobic locations for those who enjoyed the dark tunnel crawls of Metro games past. The ammunition system is still limited, but it feels better managed and more forgiving this time out, although I can still see it as being frustrating to some players. If you haven't played a Metro game before or were put off by the games in the past, give Metro Exodus a chance. You can catch this train running and enjoy the ride.
