Sep 10, 2015A fitting ending to the metal gear saga. The gameplay is brilliant. Much more freedom than before. This leads to a story that is a bit more spread out over several missions. But every second of it is enjoyable. Spent an entire week, just getting through the story. Still only at 50%. Worth every penny.

Feb 17, 2016MGSV is in another level of gameplay, the controls and the mechanics are really a fantastic work. I mean you can feel every muscle of Venom Snake while you control him, the responsiveness is awesome.
The core gameplay is majestic! Kojima created a world of infinite possibilities and very very enjoyable, you can play and replay this game as an another whole different game.
Excellent game. -

Sep 12, 2015One of the best games I have ever played. Easily my GOTY so far. Kojima's last MGS game does not disappoint in any way. This is a must play if you are a MGS fan.

Sep 1, 2015The ultimate experience that one would ever expect from a game , not just a stealth one. great open-world mechanics, gorgeous gameplay elements , and massive MOTHER BASE construction possibilities. " V Has Come To" is not just a motto , it's a gate to the future generation of games.

Sep 13, 2015Best stealth game ever made? Best action game? Even better. This is, perhaps, the best game ever made. A rollercoaster story with tons of twists and turns, wrapped up with the best gameplay I've ever experienced. Bravo, Kojima.

Sep 15, 2015I never had patience to play the MGS games. My last MGS game was on my PS2. But since I heard many positive stories about the last MGS of Kojima, I bought the game. Now, I'm older and I have the patience to play the game. I loved it. I can write a whole story about MGSV TPP but it'll take days about it. Thank you Hideo Kojima!

Oct 1, 2015one of the best games this year...
10 is the highest recommendation i reviewers can give, but it never means it's a perfect game. there's always room for improvement...
however, anyone scoring this below a 6 is never to be taken seriously... -

Dec 3, 2015If this is where Kojima does finally leave the series he created, it will be a bittersweet send-off, both for Big Boss and one of gaming's most intriguing auteurs.

Nov 10, 2015The holy grail of world-building games, it’s argued, is a black box that lets players do as they like with minimal handholding. Pliability with just the right measure of accountability. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, a tactical stealth simulation wrapped in a colossal resource management puzzle inside a love letter to theatrical inscrutability, comes the closest of any game I’ve yet played to realizing that ideal.

Pelit (Finland)Nov 5, 2015There’s no denying the Game of the Year potential of The Phantom Pain. The campaign is absolutely massive, it’s almost too much to cope. That being said, Chapter II is a huge let-down and feels like artificial padding. Still, this is about as good as tactical espionage operations can get in a video game. [Oct 2015]
