    Almost a flawless spider man game. If it wasn't for the mj sections and the slightly weak bosses, this game would basically be perfect. The swinging is the best it's ever been and the story is very solid. I see this as the batman arkham asylum of this soon to be spider man series by insonmiac. I look foward to the future spider man games made by them and I truly love this one and I highlyAlmost a flawless spider man game.     Es uno de mis juegos favoritos.
    Al principio pensé que no iba a ser capar con tal cantidad de comandos para distintos movimientos, pero me he sorprendido de lo intuitivos que eran al cabo de un rato.
    La historia es de película y el personaje, con el traje, es supersexy.

    Fue un juego que me gustó muchísimo, desde el apartado gráfico, el apartado musical, la jugabilidad y la historia hacen que sea un este juego muy entretenido.     This is a fantastic game with amazing graphics, gameplay and story. Outside of comics, this is easily one of the best Spider-Man experiences. Swinging around the city is very satisfyingly and fun. A must buy for the PS4.

    Önceki Spider-Man oyunlarına göre daha dramatik ve iyi bir hikayeye sahip muhteşem oyun. Karakter ve bölüm dizaynları da bir o kadar iyi hazırlanmış. Fazla söze gerek yok, harika.

    Puede que el mundo abierto no sea lo mejor pero el gameplay es bastante bueno, la historia es pasable y hasta ahora es el mejor juego de Spider Man.

    Un juego excelente que cuenta con una historia exclusiva para este videojuego. Cuenta con gran cantidad de detalle y actividades por hacer, lo que alarga su duración notablemente. Lo más destacable, la satisfacción que produce el moverse por la ciudad de Nueva York con el uso de las telarañas.

    Lembro bem quando vi os primeiros vídeos desse jogo de achar que ele era realmente divertido, e, nesse caso felizmente, fui provado correto. Acabei esperando para pegar a versão completa do jogo, aqui chamada de Edição Jogo do Ano, com todo o conteúdo adicional incluso para poder jogar do começo ao fim sem interrupções.
    O jogo principal tem uma história muito boa, melhor do que muito    Lembro bem quando vi os primeiros vídeos desse jogo de achar que ele era realmente divertido, e, nesse caso felizmente, fui provado correto. Acabei esperando para pegar a versão completa do jogo, aqui chamada de Edição Jogo do Ano, com todo o conteúdo adicional incluso para poder jogar do começo ao fim sem interrupções.
    O jogo principal tem uma história muito boa, melhor do que muito quadrinho que já li do Homem-Aranha, e consegue te manter envolvido ao longo do jogo de um modo que, no meu caso, acabou causando certos problemas.
    Deixe-me explicar: acontece que o jogo te dá acesso a cidade de Nova Iorque completa para explorar como bem quiser, com certos colecionáveis e missões secundárias sendo desbloqueadas conforme você avance na história. Até aí tudo bem, pique RPG normal, sem novidades. Só que no meu caso a história principal me chamou mais a atenção do que as secundárias, então eu foquei nela, e por conta disso todo o restante foi se acumulando.
    No final das contas eu passei o primeiro terço do jogo explorando minhas habilidades e prosseguindo aos poucos, até me deparar com o terceiro ato onde, por conta de eventos adversos, o fato de ignorar o restante das missões pesou bastante. Eu não conseguia andar por meio metro sem levar tiros de todos os lados. Simplesmente não tinha paz para nada, sequer ouvir o diálogo usual.
    Nisso eu acabei parando de jogar por uns dias. Depois veio o trailer do novo filme que iria sair, daí eu respirei fundo, cataloguei tudo o que tinha que fazer, e levei meu tempo terminando o que tinha começado.
    Valeu muito a pena.
    Além da história principal o conteúdo adicional não deixa a desejar. Eu estava um pouco receoso de precisar explorar toda a cidade novamente, mas, para meu alívio, cada parte era dividida de acordo com o capítulo da história que você se encontrava, então não havia necessidade de ficar zanzando por todo o cenário.
    Não que isso seja ruim, os controles são maravilhosos, mas, convenhamos, ninguém tem tempo para ficar correndo por aí quando a cada esquina tem alguém com uma bazuca apontada para sua cara.    … Expand

    It's unrealistic, dumb fun spiderman game. It has its 'serious' moments which is cool, but don't wait for an immersive story, it's just ok. combat 9/10, story 6/10, graphics 10/10. I never got bored of the game, NEVER, just do yourself a favor and buy it, if you have nothing on your checklist.

The Open World is really fun to swing around in and the story is amazing and lots of fun. My favourite part of Spider-Man is the stealth missions, they are so satisfying and joyful. On top of all this there is a bunch of collectables, objectives and side missions to do. IfMarvel's Spider-Man has got to be one of my favourite games of all time, I have played this game for hours upon end. Completed the main story and the 3 DLCs 100 % in about 35-40 hours. I still haven't done a new game plus yet so maybe I will do that someday. The only 2 things I can put my finger on are the side content and the stealth missions. The side content can sometimes be tedious and is sometimes required to progress in both story and the power of your web shooters. The stealth missions are slow and 9/10 is not necessary. I kinda wish insomniac found another way to progress the story while using the character we all played the Game for. Spiderman. because in the stealth mission, you are forced to use MJ and Miles to progress. Its not a deal breaker. But it can get annoying :D… Expand

    spider-man has always been really good in the movies but not really in the games with a few exceptions this game is very good the open world is very fun to traverse through and the graphics are wonderful.the combat is smooth and not button mashy with various combos to make it more fun the swinging relies on momentum very much and i find that a good thing, jumping of    MARVELS SPIDER-MAN

    Me parece una de las mejores cosas que se han hecho de Spiderman en mucho tiempo, sobretodo narrativamente, ya que en las películas no les da tanto tiempo en profundizar, aqui lo hace excelente, lo único que no me gustó, es que ya tenian el juego completo y lo dividieron en tres partes

    This game is very fun and i can play this for hours on end. The game play isnt hard or anything and boss fights also feel very satisfying. The web swinging is really nice and responsive. The combat feels really nice, responsive and satisfying. Levels and missions aren't annoying and are also very good.

    I bought a PS5 purely to play Spider-Man. It's been a while since there was last a Spider-Man game worth playing so I was very happy that this game wasn't a dud. Swinging around NYC and fighting bad guys is super fun and really makes you feel like you're Spider-Man. There plenty of things to do and hidden items to collect, each one with certain lore snippets that tie into the comic books.I bought a PS5 purely to play Spider-Man. It's been a while since there was last a Spider-Man game worth playing so I was very happy that this game wasn't a dud. Swinging around NYC and fighting bad guys is super fun and really makes you feel like you're Spider-Man.     This game was robbed of the 2018 GOTY.
    This is the best superhero game ever, everything you do as Spider-Man feels great, the swinging, the combat, even the jokes are somewhat funny. The only thing dragging this game down are the poorly made puzzles, and the sections where you have to play as MJ and Miles.

    Wow! The story is great, the combat is 10/10, the boss battle are challenging and swinging across Manhattan is so well. What keeps this game from beeing a 10/10 is the fact that there are a bit to much useless collectibles, which are needed to upgrade your abilities

    I used to be a big funko pop collector. So whenever this game came out I sold every single pop I had to buy a playstation and to get this game. It was 100% worth it. Plus it got me out of pops, thank god. But I love this game. The story is great, the combat is fun, though super easy. When I first beat it I had no clue what New Game + was so when I was trying to go for the platinum trophy II used to be a big funko pop collector. So whenever this game came out I sold every single pop I had to buy a playstation and to get this game. It was 100% worth it. Plus it got me out of pops, thank god. But I love this game. The story is great, the combat is fun, though super easy. When I first beat it I had no clue what New Game + was so when I was trying to go for the platinum trophy I just beat the game again on the highest difficulty. Then when I beat it I got the difficulty trophy but not the New Game + trophy. So I beat it again. I beat the game 3 times in a week then when I got the platinum trophy I got depressed. The game is great. I have faith part 2 will be just as amazing (hopefully more amazing)… Expand

    Un super jeu sur Spider-Man. Tout est bon : le gameplay, les combats, l'exploration, le monde ouvert, l'histoire (elle n'est pas incroyable mais elle est réussie) et surtout le plaisir lorsque l'on contrôle Spider-Man.

    While this game doesn’t really have a new gameplay idea I think it’s the best Spider-Man/superhero game ever. The story is very well written where the characters feel real and the graphics are amazing.
    Can’t forget the most important part; which is that the game makes you feel like Spider-Man.

    The definitive Spider-Man experience in video games. The most important part of any Spider-Man game should be how well it feels to actually swing around as him. And they nailed that here. Everything else, the good story, the good combat, the good map, the good graphics, the good side content, is the cherry on top.

    I'm genuinely torn on scoring this game. On one hand the traversal mechanics are so smooth that it's easy to find one's self thinking as if they're actually Spider-Man himself. I can spend (and have spent) copious amounts of time just swinging around Manhattan. Subway? What subway? Manhattan itself is stunningly beautiful. Colors pop, the world feels alive, small details (like AC unitI'm genuinely torn on scoring this game. Colors pop, the world feels alive, small details (like AC unit fans) are present in abundance. The proper tie ins to the larger Marvel universe are there and do not feel shoehorned in. The city functions as a character of its own.

    On the other hand, what the game offers is just your bog-standard open world collect-a-thon fare. The map is littered with collections, almost as bad as the map of London from Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Towers to climb (err, hack), backpacks to find, research stations to complete, landmarks to photograph, pigeons to gather, Black Cat locations to scout, Fisk and Demon bases to plunder, thug and Demon crimes to stop, the list goes on. Like the aforementioned Assassin's Creed franchise, only a handful of these tie into the actual story, most are just there to pad overall playtime and are incidental only to the location or a specific character -- essentially there to do just because you're the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. And that's fine to a point, but it becomes tiresome after a while just like every other collect-a-thon open world game. Keep in mind that Ubisoft pioneered this format of open world game and with the latest iterations of their franchises they've fundamentally changed and/or toned down the litter-the-world-with-collectables formula because it was wearing thin on players.

    The combat is merely "ok". It's your standard combo button beat-em-up with webslinging/aerial maneuvers interspersed throughout. It's similar to the Batman Arkham series but a bit more frenetic. Stealth is less important than the Batman series but still very useful. If you're rusty with the old combo button/Arkham combat mechanics, it will take a bit to reacquaint yourself but once you unlock a few skills and a couple of suits combat generally becomes easy except on the hardest difficulty setting where the AI just become gods of combat.

    All in all it's worth playing but I just don't see it being an 9 or 10 game. It's the same open world, combo brawler design that we've all burned out on since late last generation. Beyond its city traversal method and great attention to detail on the cityscape itself, the game doesn't really bring anything new to the genre.    … Expand

The most significant addition however is the inclusion of meaningful side-content for the first time in the wall-crawler's long career on home consoles.

    As you progress a variety of optional tasks, challenges, and even small storylines will begin popping up across the map at regular intervals. Their quality varies wildly from legitimately entertaining (timed Taskmaster tests) to mundane (pigeon-catching), but I felt compelled to do them all regardless thanks to their relative brevity. This doesn't follow the Ubisoft structure of littering your screen with hundreds of icons to check-off. Rather, each activity type comes in handfuls to add just a few extra hours of playtime instead of keeping you busy for months on end.

    What ultimately most makes this title worth picking up is its original story. Like I said earlier, this isn't some film tie-in, but also isn't set in any previously established continuity either. Insomniac have actually created their own universe complete with unique takes on the brand's history, characters, and lore. It leads to a tale that, while implementing a great deal of novel changes to deep-seated key elements, remains faithful to the true essence of who Spider-Man is with strong, surprisingly emotional writing that sets up so many exciting venues for them to go in the future. It's by far the greatest distinguishing part of the package.

    The overall familiarity keeps this from being something I can truly rave about, yet at the same time stands as the reason I enjoyed it so much. I was transported back to the PS2 era over the course of this superhero adventure. Memories of playing the titles derived from the Raimi works and Ultimate came flooding back, and accompanied by the smoothest gameplay Parker has seen so far outside of the occasional glitches you'll encounter. As a result, I can do nothing than recommend that every web-head fan pick this up, even if only for the nostalgic feeling alone.    … Expand

    That said - there are a couple nagging issues that while they do not hamper the overall enjoyment, may be worth noting before taking to the streets as the man of many webs.

    1. Combat: Now this isn't an issue with the way combat looks - it's gorgeous and fluent and I love every second. However, the game over-explains many of the combat features early in the game, and does little to reinforce them after, causing a bit of confusion as you quickly encounter large groups of mixed classes. Furthermore, even when combat shines the brightest there is an inherent feeling of "I didn't mean to do that but it looked cool!", basically like you have less control over Spidey then I'd personally like. To compare to Batman, where eventually you could play the timing game so well you'd never be touched (even without gadgets) - to reach that level with Spidey you'll have to become reliant on using gadgets frequently, and more or less smashing the dodge button.

    2. Sound: I love the sound, but the problem is the game handles ambient and voice work poorly in many areas, with ambient noise popping in suddenly and loudly, drowning out dialogue. Or that dialogue is so baby soft during the loudest scripted events. Fortunately there are a couple audio options even on console that may help you even this out. All in all sound is incredible, the game just handles volume poorly on the basic setting.

    Overall the game is magnificent, few times have I played with such a wide grin on my face the entire time. Insomniac did an amazing job of making the city feel alive, and making your part in the ecosystem feel natural and fluid. This is where it succeeds in spades over the Arkham franchise, because while I love those games too I always felt like I was "playing Batman well", not "I am Batman" as so many would cry.

    There was a ton of hype and I don't think the game will fully live up to that. Controls well but there is a lot to remember. Graphics are good not great,    So far, I've enjoyed the game.     Meticulously crafted, smooth and dynamic. It is fun to fly and leap around as Spidey. Even for an absolute non-fan of Marviel comics and stories, the game was very enjoyable. Things became repetitive after a while, and completing the game felt a bit too long for me, that would be my main complaint. But it is a show of a game in any case. Recommended

    I was surprised how much fun this game is to play. Story is really not good, missions are OK, but it's extremely fun to fly around the city and solve stuff! One of the biggest flaws is grinding crimes for platinum trophy. It took me some time to fly around the city and solve little crime missions just to get last trophy. Completely unnecessary!

    That being said, it's not a perfect game and I don't feel like it completely deserves the 9's and 9.5's or higher that most professional reviewers gave it. It has a lot of great points for sure. Good graphics, voice acting, character models, sound design combat and, like I mentioned, swinging through the city. But a lot of things also sucked the enjoyment out of the game for me.

    My biggest pet peeves have to be the forced stealth based story mission where you play as either MJ or Miles. I can remember one or two missions that were tense and had me on the edge of my seat...but most of them just brought the pacing down of what is an exciting, superhero adventure.

    Aside from that, it suffers from the same routine as a lot of open world game. Go to a tower, free up a section of the map, see where collectibles and missions are. Traversing through New York via your webs doesn't make this as much of a chore, fortunately. But a lot of side-content, especially when it comes to beating up Thugs and other nasties that pop up later in the game IS a chore. The Research Stations probably offer the most variety, as do the normal Side Quests. Though I do wish the latter was more exciting and had you deal with more of the enemies in Spider-Man's Rogue's Gallery. Especially later on in the game.

    Taking enemies out the stealthy way also isn't really rewarding. The mooks don't react in a satisfying way, like they do in the Arkham games were they become scared and unpredictable. And it's pretty useless when you are doing Base missions where the second wave appears and spots you immediately.

    Boss fights also tend to follow a pattern, but they are fun and exciting at least. That being said, I do wish said Bosses got more time to shine. Near the end of the game some of Spider-Man's more famous villains pop up...and they get very little screen time before they face you two at a time. Meaning that you wipe out four out of the six baddies relatively quickly.

    Only two of the villains really get a chance to shine and it is done well! Especially the main villain. You, the player, probably know who he is and that you will eventually face him. But the game did an excellent job of making you wonder:"But when is the reveal going to come for Spider-Man?"

    All in all, Insomniac did a fantastic job handling Spider-Man. It has its fault, but the game feels great to play and it tells an amazing story with good characters. It definitely managed to tug at my heartstrings too, especially the last few scenes.

    My only complaint about the story has to be the whole romantic subplot that's going on with MJ and Peter. Mainly because the arguments they have have been done to death in almost every other movie, comic, book, tv-show or videogame when it's about dating a superhero. But it seems to have been resolved, so hopefully I won't be bothered by that in a possible sequel.

    The city felt lifeless and little flat. New York looked amazing and city looked busy but the moment you landed on the ground the level of interactions was rather limited. This made city feel boring and flat to me. You have tons of activities but these really feel the same. I did not feel the need to do all of them. (I did most of the side activities and might come back to the game to do some more but they all come down to fighting waves of enemies or swinging through the city and collecting stuff). It is little bland when compared to the main campaign missions.

    The combat system is good so you might do most of all of the side activities. What makes it interesting are spidy gadgets which bring more variety to the combat mechanics. There is also light progression system which will help you unlock new/improved ways of annihilating your enemies and will bring more flow to the engagements.
    Traversing through the world is lots of fun, there are lots of collectables and mini crime stopping activities which if completed will reward you with tokens that can be spent on upgrades and costumes. There are plenty of those.

    I played game on base ps4 model and 65 inch TV. It all looked very cinematic but graphic was not the next level like God Of War or RDR2 but it was definitly a good looking game. I wonder how it looks in 4k.

    I overall liked the game. I enjoyed Spider-man movie but by all means am not a die hard fan. For me it is solid 8/10 game.(if you are a fan it might be an 9 or maybe even a 10).

    The game almost constantly chucks new collectibles at you; every main missions seems to activate some new collectible ranging from taking photos and collecting backpacks, to chasing down criminals that have popped up little outposts around the city.

    Not only that but some of the collectibles are poor - such as grabbing a random rucksack that's lying around, going to a location and looking for a small statue hidden in the distance, taking a photo of a random landmark... But you very much forgive the game for this because the gameplay you use to gather these is so fun!

    The main campaign is really good - there are some neat set pieces and some truly memorable boss fights, also some of the writing is excellent and it definitely gets you excited about a potential follow up!

    The reason this review is so tricky for me, is because if you literally re-skinned this entire game to be something like a Prototype or Infamous follow up, or a new IP entirely it would score a 6/10, but because it's the webslinger himself you can't help but love the game. I'd give this an 8/10 easily as a result.

    So ultimately:

    6/10 if you're not too invested in Spider-Man or don't care for comics

However, in my opinion the game is still not perfect yet. Let's see pros and cons

    Pro
    -Brilliant Combat system : At first, it looks like Batman, but once you played for a while, it has its own style. In Batman, you have to react to the enemy's actions but in Spider man, you can play which way to like. You have more freedom. You can keep shooting web if you want to.
    -Unique creative way of traveling around town. Swinging around never been this fun.

    Cons
    -Story is not really interesting until near the end game
    -People in the world feel unreal. You mostly cannot interact with people in the street at all.
    -Graphic does not feel impressive. Spider man looks fantastic but the environment looks lack of detail.
    -Stealth sections of side characters, sometimes feel repeptitive.

    In sum, Spiderman is an awesome game that everyone should give it a try. Fluid fun combat is where Spiderman shines. Story, however, can be improved as well as the world environment. I still think Batman is better game overall for a 1-2 step ahead, but surely Spiderman is right behind. I would love to play Spiderman 2. This game has much potential for the sequel to be even greater game.    … Expand

    The credits have just rolled on this one. Overall I'd say I really enjoyed it, a solid 8/10 from me.

    I think where the game really succeeds is the traversal, swinging around as Spider-Man feels incredible, they totally nailed it. The way you can go from running up a wall, to zipping across the street in a blink of an eye is all just so seamless. Another highlight for me was the combat, it's the familiar Batman formula but I dunno, it just felt more slick in its execution. The transitions from regular attacks to finishers was so fluid. The final big plus for me was the story and voice acting, I really cared about the characters and they were all voiced so well, something which gets neglected far too often I find. Visually it was also very good, with some of the faces looking almost eerily realistic.

    As for the negatives I have to say I really didn't enjoy the stealth sections where you played as MJ or Miles, creeping around boxes is just not fun IMO. I also felt all of the side content was complete faff and added nothing to do the game, I skipped as much of it as possible and focused on the main story which was good. A minor niggle but failable, mission resetting QTE's? Come on, son. Oh and those stupid science mini games.....    … Expand

    This is a pretty damn good game, long time since I've enjoyed a game as much as I did with this title.

    Don't know what to say since everything is already been said; -The swinging is FANTASTIC -The combat is simple at a glance but is so fun and flashy and has a good amount of depth with learning the enemy types and adapting to when there is a variety of 20+ enemies in a room -Story    This is a pretty damn good game, long time since I've enjoyed a game as much as I did with this title.

    This game is a solid 8 due to it's gorgeous graphics, smooth webswinging, great story and spidy rpg progression. The only things that hold it back are very poor wall crawling and lack of variety in enemies. People that are supposed to be just regular human that can follow a super hero's amazing agility with their punches and aim kind of negate the fantasy of being a super hero a bit.     There are myriad good reasons why Marvel's Spider-Man is the best-selling and highest-rated Spider-Man title in years. While it has a few glaring flaws, they pale in comparison to all of the things the team at Insomniac got right. A well-acted, strong story serves as the backbone for an experience that just plain feels right for Spider-Man, and fans and newcomers alike won't be disappointed by this trip to the Spider-verse.

    This game does for Spider-Man what the Arkham series did for Batman. Immensely satisfying movement system, excellent combat, fast pace, superb visuals and wealth of side activities converge to bring a wonderful experienced, diluted only by some minor missteps in the story and a couple of stealth sequences where you control supporting characters instead of Spidey.
