    Just a very fun game. Story is kind of your typical spider man stories. Combat mechanic is similar to Batman Arkham series but better. Swinging around NY city is one of the best part of the game. Side quests were not rewarding or fun enough to play for me.

    Like you're playing the movie.

    Good - swinging around in the city feels so good. The inputs are so smooth, and it looks and feels so organic, just like how it looks in the movies. The city on the ground was done really realistically as well. I could walk along the streets of New York city and just swing on to a building at anytime I want.     - the combats is deep. The fundamental design is Dodge and attack. But I will also need to use my webs to interrupt gunman. And to reposition myself. It feels and looks very smooth especially after the controls are mastered. Yeah I got to say it come back and I'm not used to using circle to dodge stay weird I was actually expecting I do not agree with Cincinnati on the same cited you know Facebook options definitely not

    - Peter is pretty funny sometimes

    - I guess it's an interesting balance the devs had to decide on when it came to balancing difficulty and smooth progression during action segments.

    - being able to grapple to any ledge makes travelling extremely versatile and gave me an immense sense of freedom

    - Stan Lee cameo

    - MJ working with spiderman for the stealth section in subway area was cool

    - the voice work is phenomenal. Peter's voice and dialogue is perfect.

    - the city looks amazing. From buildings down to the civilians. Really feels like I'm swinging around NYC.

    - the scorpion hallucinations seems like they borrowed the sequence from dishonored and a little Batman Arkham asylum scarecrow

    Bad

    - I'm surprised to see a skip option four puzzles. This is probably the first time I seen such an option. I think they should give a hint instead of giving the player the option to just skip over the content completely. It encourages laziness, and an easy way out. Though this is a single player game so it doesn't really affect anything negatively, but I don't agree with this approach.

    - no practice arena. I really don't understand why so many hack and/beat em up games like Spider-Man do not have a practice arena where you can pit yourself against a few baddies, some with guns, some without words, and some with rocket launchers, interests practice all your combos and special abilities. Spider-Man does have quite a deep combat system with the dodging, and perfect dodging, and web follow-ups. for me to fully have fun with the game, I want to be able to be very familiar with the combo inputs and all of my options. I don't want to master it by the time I am like 50% into the game. I don't want to have to test my combos during story mode. I want to have mastered my combos before I tackle more of the story. Because by the time I've mastered the combos, there's only like 50% of the game left for me to enjoy the combat system to its full potential. Bayonetta was a deep beat em up game. And it had a practice arena where you can test out any combo you want. I don't understand why Spider-Man and many other beat-em-ups don't have such an arena. Is it really that hard to set up an empty area with some baddy's there for me to beat up and practice my abilities?

    - I don't like how the Dodge button and the attack button are both on the face of the controller. Swapping from attacking to dodge takes a bit more time because my thumb needs to fly over to the circle button. When I try to react to the enemy's attack I need to account for this tiny delay which could have been avoided if I could remap the Dodge button to a shoulder button.

    - dr Octavius found out way too easily that Peter was spiderman. Just carelessly walks in room and sees his costume? That's extremely stupid if Peter actually cared about keeping it a secret

    - there's quite a fetch quest portion to the gameplay than I had initially anticipated. I suppose it's to give me a reason to swing around the city. But the tasks themselves are quite mundane. If only I could do some aerial combat with another aerial enemy, that'd be a lot cooler.

    - the hardest difficulty isn't that difficult. There are so many upgrades but 90% were completely useless to me as I could get through the fights with the basic abilities easily.

    - they never talked about the whereabouts of Lee after the demon left him, despite so much focus was put into his character in the game.    … Expand

    Je ne suis pas fan de comics ou de super héros en général ( plus tournée vers la japanimation) mais waou ! Je n'ai pas joué de jeu aussi fun depuis très longtemps. Le gameplay est excellent : facile à prendre en main mais avec du challenge si on veut platiner le jeu !.

    I just truly loved playing this game. Not only is the gameplay fun for the free-roaming of NYC but the fighting is INTENSE and fun. The story is incredible, showing the downfall of Peter and Otto's relationship and the faults to having to be Spider-Man. The ending with Aunt May kills me every single time and this was my second time going through the story of the game.

    AMAZING game by Insomniac! (See what i did there? Lol) they really nailed on making a true Spider-Man game. Its story is pretty good, the graphics look really nice, the combat system is nicely done, and its swinging is by far the BEST ever in a Spider-Man game. Super fluid, easy controls, the tricks are pretty cool too. Spider-Man 2 had the crown, but this game overthrows it! Some things iAMAZING game by Insomniac! (See what i did there?     Spidey no es mi héroe favorito, no, pero eso no quiere decir que, no ame su videojuego, me recuerda a los Batman, pero no tiene nada de que envidiar cuando tu personaje te anima con su sentido del humor, carisma, y estilo de lucha. La historia me sumerge como un héroe, y si final me hace apreciar a nis seres queridos

    Marvel's Spiderman is an awesome game. Combat felt deep and thoughtful and web slinging around New-York was fun and satisfying. Despite this, some parts of the game felt a bit boring, but not to an annoying degree.

    The story is great and very fun. I loved everything about it. The ending is very emotional but for some reason it didn't have a big impact for me. I finished the story in around 20 hours but it felt shorter than that.
    The gameplay is very fun too. The web swinging, the dodging and the combat are all amazing.
    The side activities are somewhat generic but it works. Overall, very amazing    The story is great and very fun. I loved everything about it.     When i first bought this game, i wasn't sure if im gonna like it because this isn't my type of game. But after playing it for a while i got completely caught up in it. It has a great story, balanced combat with a lot of perks, and the graphics on the PS5 is absolutely wonderful. It also has 3 dlc's which are pretty short but also very exciting. The only thing i didn't like about it wereWhen i first bought this game, i wasn't sure if im gonna like it because this isn't my type of game.     Сама игра мне понравилась. Я в детстве прям фанател от Человека-Паука, и в этой игре у меня даже появилось ненадолго это чувство - чувство фанатизма. Сюжет, в котором показывают и хорошо раскрывают мотивацию злодеев, которые творят злодейские дела, в котором есть в конце немного драмы - классный! Боёвка тоже отличная, такая вся динамичная и быстрая, мне это тоже понравилось.Сама игра мне понравилась. Я в детстве прям фанател от Человека-Паука, и в этой игре у меня даже появилось ненадолго это чувство - чувство фанатизма.     Well worth a play in 2022, good and engaging combat, great story, everything’s just flushed out as a AAA title should be. So if you don’t have what to play on PS5 this in GOTY edition is available with Extra subscription. It’s also a good length too.

    This games lived up to all the hype and then some, loved the open world story , the only complaint is the lack of dlc in my opinion I felt they could have added a little more but thats ok

    There is nothing that I think I’ll remember quite like web slinging for the first time in this game. The atmosphere of NYC was just so surreal, and overall the story and graphics were great on PS5. I’d definitely recommend if you haven’t played yet, and I’d say play the DLC too, although they are hit or miss.

    The best superhero game I’ve ever played. Story is FANTASTIC, gameplay is just as amazing, everything in this game is seriously on point on a level I don’t see in most games nowadays. Bit of a learning curve in the beginning (at least for me) but it grew on me quick. Can’t wait for what’s next.

Hay muchos juegos sobre el arácnido unos mejores y otros peores e incluso horribles pero todavía no se había conseguido hacer uno que mereciera la pena. Quizá al menos para mi a opinión personal, el mejor al menos hasta el 7 de septiembre era el Spider-man 2 del 2004 en su versión de Ps2 o Xbox. A pesar de los años que tiene aun lo recuerdo con cariño. Todo esto cambia en el 2018 con este lanzamiento. Desde que salio la saga Batman Arkham ( la cual me encanta) me pregunte cuando tendríamos los fan de Spider-man el juego que Spider-man se merece. Pues bien la espera ha terminado, imsomniac games ha creado el juego que queríamos. A continuación hablare un poco del juego empezando por lo positivo sin ningún spoiler

    - Lo mejor que tiene el juego es su jugabilidad la cual me encanta tanto en el balanceo el cual hace que te creas el propio Spiderman así como el combate del cual me parece increíble y un vicio
    - La historia no es la mejor del mundo pero es una buena historia y a mi me ha encantado empieza muy fuerte e interesante y aunque luego baja de ritmo y puede tener algunos momentos(muy pocos y cortos) en los que se puede hacer pesada la historia rápidamente se recupera y es imposible perder el interés
    - Otro punto muy bueno es poder manejar a Peter Parker y a Mary Jane sobretodo y otro personaje que no diré
    - Otro punto interesante es la cantidad de trajes y sus mejoras así como los artilugios que podemos usar que me ha encantado
    - El desarrollo de los personajes esta muy bien llevado y su evolución es también muy buena
    - Una Nueva York viva con interacción con NPC y bastantes crímenes como persecuciones de vehículos( Molan mucho), atracos a tiendas, rescate de civiles,asalto a bases enemigas etc...
    - Modo foto
    - Gráficos
    -Doblaje en castellano sobre todo el de Peter Parker es magnífico
    - Referencias a personajes y series de marvel así como a otras películas de Spider-man como Spider-man 2
    - Spider-poli
    - 60 fps en ps5

    Entonces ¿Es perfecto el videojuego?. No ya que también tiene sus cosas negativas que diré a continuación aunque no son muchas

    - La innovación en el combate no es mucha que digamos y se ve que es muy parecido al de la saga Batman Arkham incluido el sigilo
    - Las peleas contra los jefes podrían ser un poco mas difíciles (esto no quiere decir que no sean interesantes) ya que cuando descubres el truco para derrotar a ese jefe, terminas con el muy rápido
    - Aunque es algo normal en un lanzamiento reciente algunas personas se han encontrado con algunos bug aunque no afectan a la historia ni jugabilidad. En mi caso el único con el que me he topado ha sido que al lanzar una papelera a la gente una persona se ha puesto a levitar y se ha ido volando aunque con parches se solucionará

    En general aunque no es perfecto y tiene margen de mejora estamos ante el comienzo de lo que puede ser una gran saga de Spider-man como lo fue en su día la de Batman Arkham y estoy seguro que mejorará mucho más en futuros lanzamientos.     Don't worry though, this is as spoiler free as I could possibly make it. Following my normal obsessive compulsive    With the release of Insomniac Games fast selling hit Spider-Man making such an impact on the gaming world, and with so many great reviews circling the media, we thought we too would succumb to the flow of the masses and give it a whirl. And I got lucky so I got to do it.

    Don't worry though, this is as spoiler free as I could possibly make it.

    Following my normal obsessive compulsive manner, it just wouldn't have been me not to spend many hours glued to the screen in an attempt to 100% the base game's progress and trophy list (to get the coveted platinum); which was successful I might add, just in case any of you were wondering. These countless hours raised many points about the game that are important to share if you're still on the fence as to whether to buy.

    So, first of all, the general conclusion is simply that it's a ridiculously fun game to play. Even on the more challenging difficulty you can still have a blast, even in among the frustration of getting outmatched by swarms of enemies. From the outset of the game you're in headfirst taking on a multitude of enemies and a boss; because who doesn't love a trial by fire.

    The character customization was a big winner in my book.

    You'd be forgiven for thinking, initially, "what on earth can you customize with our beloved friendly neighbour Spider-Man?". But Insomniac have graced us with a multitude of options from different suits, skills, and gadgets; not unlike the later Assassin's Creed games learning skills and progressively making new gadgets throughout the game.

    With that being said there's also an impressive city to scale and explore, and it's clear to see the time and effort that went into it's creation. Buildings galore to climb, swing from, and stick bad guys to. Even the Avengers tower to check out; but you didn't hear that from me.

    The movement and combat mechanics are also worth a great honorable mention in among the pros, only adding to how enjoyable the play-through was. Although a little tricky at first, the web-swinging and parkour become an integral part of normal play; but also something that will explain one of the cons mid game.

    A non-spoiler con, if it can be considered one, is the top level of the Taskmaster challenges.

    We encounter the mercenary Taskmaster on our travels, as a type of side mission, who sets challenges such as disarming bombs, taking out drones, and fighting enemies. In the bomb challenges you gain points for how quickly you can disarm them. It took little time to learn that, no matter how skilled you are with the movement mechanics of the game, for most players achieving the ultimate tier isn't only difficult, but unnecessarily unattainable. Upon researching the issue I discovered this was something that many people voiced, some of whom were named pro gamers.

    Not going to lie; it made me feel better knowing that it wasn't just me. This only became a serious inconvenience when trophy hunting for all the suits, because if you can't get tokens to unlock the suits it will require an almost entire second play-through of the game to unlock them, saving all the tokens for them alone; the downfall of not having a New Game + mode was prominently highlighted in this instance.

    Another one of the few cons that the collective gaming community cited, that I too discovered early on, was the delay in response time for dodging attacks.

    We all know how important it is to get timing right in a lot of games. Especially when it costs you health. But when you can't make that dodge when you need to, and more so against a boss, things can get a tad tricky.

    All in all though, despite a few minor issues that went on the cons list, if you haven't played this game you're missing out. If you're looking for an attainable 100% completion of a game, or just something fun to play Spider-Man is up high on that list. And I am certainly looking forward to seeing what Insomniac have in store for us with the upcoming DLC.    … Expand

    The story and presentation is wonderful, and the game puts you right in the action from the start. The story takes place 8 years after Spider-Man gains his powers and is already used to fighting criminals. The main story is kind of short, but very well paced with interesting villains and lore. Also, this is one of the only games I’ve played where the side content is actually worth doing. It includes side missions, collectibles, and challenges.

    The gameplay is fluid and the gadgets you can upgrade make it a lot more bearable; even on normal you get your ass kicked if you don’t take use of Perfect Dodge and other mechanics. The action is very reminiscent of the Batman Arkham series with an attack button, dodge, and combo meter. While not entirely innovating, the gameplay is satisfying to master and smooth.

    After Platinuming Marvel’s Spider-Man, I can safely say that this is one of the best PS4 exclusive games and a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to jump into Miles Morales!    … Expand

    I was a decent Spider Man fan back when I was a kid and even played Spider Man 2 on the OG XBOX and I loved that game to bits, while I like Spider Man Edge of Time, both The Amazing Spider Man movie tie-in games (yes including The Amazing Spider Man 2), and especially Shattered Dimensions, none of them were able to have the same impact on me as this game since I was still a young boy whenI was a decent Spider Man fan back when I was a kid and even played Spider Man 2 on the OG XBOX and I loved that game to bits, while I like Spider Man Edge of Time, both The Amazing Spider Man movie tie-in games (yes including The Amazing Spider Man 2), and especially Shattered Dimensions, none of them were able to have the same impact on me as this game since I was still a young boy when this game released but even after watching a YouTuber play it, I still loved it so much that I watched 2 other YouTubers play the game and never regretted it. Then up until recently, I got a PS4 Pro and decided this would be one of the first games I'd pick up for it. After around 104 hours (80 for the game twice and 24 for the DLC) I can definitely say it brought back great memories. So the graphics for this game are spectacular for this game and it helps out with bringing these characters to life. Speaking of these characters, all of them even in the DLC are memorable due to how the writing that they're given is solid and the performances given are just as good and stay respectable to their comic book counter-parts. The combat is decently fast paced, since there are going to be a lot of enemies but the reason you don't feel bored is because the enemies are relentless and will surround you to get you at any chance they get plus there are unique ones since most of them will carry weapons where you need to be careful of them plus other ones that have armor immune to webs. While the game runs at 30 FPS even on my PS4 Pro while the previous Spider Man games ran at 60, this never bothered me primarily because other PS4 games were locked to 30 FPS as well but the animations were designed for 30 FPS in mind so I never see any frame drops minus when the combat gets REALLY HEATED. The story was amazing for both a video game and Spider Man since it was paced amazingly well to the point where I remember the ending bursted me to absolute tears when I first saw it. But all of this would be meaningless if the swinging was terrible, and thankfully not only is the swinging great, but I would argue it's on par if not better than Spider Man 2's excellent swinging since the game never lets you shoot webs if there's nothing for the webs to latch onto, the swinging feels natural, and it's so enjoyable that I found myself swinging around New York City more often than using the fast travel. Now there are negatives especially how it does have stuff that makes open world games boring like a ton of collectables and slightly repetitive side missions but those never really bothered me because those made sense in a Spider Man game minus the MJ and Miles Morales stealth sections since they cause you to feel powerless on the enemies especially since you were beating them down as Spider Man earlier, they're incredibly basic as you distract them, sneak past/knock them out, and that's legitimately it. Overall, I can definitely say this is definitely the top 10 best PS4 exclusives out there and I would've given this game an 8 if not for the DLC being so good.     The story was very well done as well and as far as comic book based video games I always think its best to do your own alternate dimension kind of thing. Its gives the developer the freedom to do what they want with the game and create the perfect balance between inspiration and subverting expectations.
    My only real complaint would be that some of the activities are repeated a few too many times in the main story.
    P.S. I can't believe they changed the actor who played peter for this games remaster. I'll live but i loved the original actor scan :(    … Expand

    The gameplay is amazing, any game that makes movement fun (for example Just Cause 3) is a game worth playing. I found myself loving it and with the added help of unlockable skills I never found the movement to be repetitive. There are countless different moves/things to do with Spider-Man, such as stick enemies to walls/floors, punch them in the air, throw bodies to other enemies, yank an enemies gun out of their hand, taze them, hit them with trash cans, and so much more.

    My only complaint is while 100%ing achievements I found the fighting got slightly repetitive and boring, I would've toned down the fighting a bit more, as it does get used a lot. However that isn't to say there aren't things other than fighting in this game, as there are missions and extra activities which involve stopping cars, chasing drones, deactivating bombs, and stealthily taking down enemies.

    The missions in this game are always fun, the developers were not scared to let you take control of MJ or Miles for a few missions. The story is brilliant with interesting characters and antagonists, each explained thoroughly in their own right. The plot is more interesting than a lot of marvel movies, and skipping the cutscenes (while I would definitely not recommend it) is permitted.

    The graphics are stunning, with every last detail looking brilliant even up close, and the streets are packed full of citizens making it truly feel like New York. While of course the map isn't too large unlike other games I've played, I never felt like size was an issue.

    My only complaints are firstly the quick time events, which can catch you off guard and cause you to fail for unfair reasons, as well as the difficulty which even on ultimate never felt too difficult, and while for the most part this is a good thing, I wanted more of a challenge after already completing the game once. Unfortunately on the PC release I also encountered some annoying audio bugs which could sometimes silence Peter, cause voices to go high pitched and quiet, and cause distortion.

    After 100%ing achievements I feel like it's finally time to put this game to rest, but it was immensely fun. Whether you're a fan of superhero games or not, I highly recommend picking this up!    … Expand

    6. ДЛС. Они здесь хоть и не супер длинные, но сюжетно и геймплейно качественны, хотя доп активностей уже не так много
    Минусы:
    1. Аванпосты. Здесь это базы демонов, соболя и бандитов, и прекрасно видно, что они перегружены, ведь бои непрерывны на минут так 10 и руки устают.
    2. Низ. Внизу, на дорогах, город не особо живой - людей много, но обычно они просто идут, а каких-то занятых условной уборкой или рекламой очень мало или вообще нет.

    Вердикт - лучшая супергеройская игра на данный момент, я сомневаюсь что ее кто-то переплюнет кроме сиквела.    … Expand

    Ce jeu est une merveille, Au niveau graphisme on est dans les standards des Jeux PS4 pour un studio sans forcément de gros budgets, au niveau scénario qui vaut carrément les filmes...etc. On pourrait en parler pendant des heures. Pourquoi je mets pas 10, parce que le jeu a malheureusement beaucoup de bugs qui n'ont pas tous été corrigé.

    This is what superhero games should strive to be. Insomniac really nailed the webswinging and the overall movement of spiderman. But oh my god the MJ and Miles parts are painful. LIKE WHY IS MILES TALKING TO HIMSELF OUT LOUD WHILE HIDING FROM TERRORISTS. I DONT GET IT.

    Isso sim é jogo de super herói, a gameplay, a história, todos os aspectos são bem feitos e o final é lindo. Platinei a linha de troféus principal, não fiz as DLCs.

    Insomniac clearly poured some love into this game, I never once found myself bored, or too stuck to give it another go. I played the game through pretty quick, but enjoyed every minute of it. Maybe the DualSense could have been utilised a bit better, but the gameplay and visuals are top drawer. The CTNS dlc is also a lot of fun.     What a great game. It is my favourite game in ps 4 and ps 5. The open world lacks variety and can be repetitive, also the story does take some time to get exciting but it is mindless fun to swing around and combat is so satisfying. It makes me feel like the spider man. Looking forward to the second game.

The story of the game is really interesting and constantly changing (in the whole story, we have to stop the Daemon members from doing the work of Mr. Li and his army and find out about the secret between Mayor Osborn and Mr. Li), but the story of the game has a very interesting tension, so At the time of these events, many stories happen and the summary of the story is not uniform.

    The gameplay of the game is also very unique and fun, and the thing that is interesting to me is that the story of the game exists even in the side missions, in such a way that the side missions complement the story of the game.    … Expand

Trying to be a unique and different spidey game that’s actually successful compared to its predecessors, the game delivers.     Such a cool experience! Web-sling like the best in this sweet action adventure super hero game. The story, character development, emotional impact, is all fantastic. (The acting is great here!) There are bits that slow down the pacing (sneaky sneaky level.) But overall, this game is great.

    A game with a very entertaining and emotional story from time to time, a small open world and interesting characters that are old acquaintances for fans. I'd give it 10/10 if it wasn't for the free mode after finishing the story as it leaves you with not much to do, not like Red Dead Redemption 2 or GTA 5. Before I knew about those games though I played this one a lot. I recommend it to all fans who haven't played it yet and for people who are interested.    … Expand

    - Graphics, amazing even on PS4 slim
    - Combat system is incredibly fun, although it appears to be copied from Batman games - Story. It's not as deep as Mass Effect, but it's a good story for a super hero game - Fun. Swinging among the buildings and skyscrapers is almost addictive - Difficulty level: it's well balanced at normal level ("amazing"). Maybe too easy for experienced    PROS:

    The best spider man game ever made. Insomniac Games did a good job. The characters introduced to the game actually look terrible like comic book characters, everything is combined with a fantastic fighting style and quite an interesting version of events that differs from the comic version.

    There are myriad good reasons why Marvel's Spider-Man is the best-selling and highest-rated Spider-Man title in years. While it has a few glaring flaws, they pale in comparison to all of the things the team at Insomniac got right. A well-acted, strong story serves as the backbone for an experience that just plain feels right for Spider-Man, and fans and newcomers alike won't be disappointed by this trip to the Spider-verse.

    This game does for Spider-Man what the Arkham series did for Batman. Immensely satisfying movement system, excellent combat, fast pace, superb visuals and wealth of side activities converge to bring a wonderful experienced, diluted only by some minor missteps in the story and a couple of stealth sequences where you control supporting characters instead of Spidey.
