    I don't know how a game can be made worse over 3 years but EA has managed to perfect their "art" of destroying innovative Titles.

At least make the players speak up and interact. The other obvious update is the roster. This billion dollar corporation has to learn ! We are not stupid which is why i took my game back to game stop and will be waiting for that cod cold war! Now they always make improvements for their loyal fans and buyer's.… Expand

    Endless glitches/bugs, stagnate, animation-driven gameplay, ignored franchise mode and overall lack of attention to detail. An unbelievable fall from grace.

    This game is AWFUL. Can’t even make sure that they’re spelling teams and players correctly. SAME EXACT GAME as the past 5 years. EA is so disappointing... please EA.. just give the rights over to 2K..

    I’m not gonna give you the spill of being a Madden player forever but I will say that this game is not worth the price. Maybe $40. Copy and paste as usual. The Yard is alright.

    Unfortunately under the leadership of Clint Oldenburg the game has been a steady decline. Each year has seen less and less innovation, and the effort behind the game has hit a new low. Animations and cutscenes carried over for several years in a row. The same exact glitches and graphical errors can be seen in this years that existed last year. Finally Franchise mode is the most ignored it’s been in years. Some may chalk this up to a transition year, but that was also what was said last year. Eventually the question some players have been asking for years becomes more valid: Is EA taking advantage of their exclusive contract to put out a continually less impressive product while soaking up microtransactions from children and streamers? The answer is looking more and more like yes. One thing is certain, there is no denying the decline in both user and critic reviews of this years game versus previous years. It is the most unimpressive entry in the madden franchise. Fans of the series can only hope that the user outrage regarding this entry in the franchise catches mainstream attention in order to bring change; in the same way EA’s Star Wars game once created enough outrage to gain the attention of this with the power to bring change.… Expand

    playing this game made me want to kill myself #NFLDropEA, the gameplay is glitchy, sometimes the field isnt even painted, the AI is dumb as hell and the experience of the game is terrible

    The fact that the NFL has accepted this type of effort to be put in their flagship football game. EA hasn't cared about Madden for over a decade. Once they figured out a way to create a cash cow, they ran with it and never looked back. Its sad and unfair to the community who has tried to stay by this companies side through all their **** ups, and the thanks they give is a spit in the faceThe fact that the NFL has accepted this type of effort to be put in their flagship football game. In my honest opinion I think the mut squads online head to head is as bad as madden 1, actually it’s a lot worse. The amount of tine and incorporation it took to make this piece of dog **** compares to the amount of tine it takes me to drop a deuce in the toilet. Even the yard their “all new” mode literally looks like it was made by like 4 people who had to do a school project and had to pull an all nighter and even that would look better than this. My final thoughts is that whoever wants to play a football game just wait for 2k’s version because this is not worth anyone’s time and money I say this as a consumer since I played this game a lot even before it’s preorder launch with the 10 hour trial. And for those who did buy this game like me then may god have mercy on your soul! BTW I marked it as a spoiler alert since this game will spoil any happiness you have period!

    this game is extremely bad. it’s not fun, it’s not PLAYABLE. the animations are atrocious. if i were you i’d run the ball every play, because anytime your receiver catches the ball in there hands, it’ll be swiped away by the cornerback just like that because of an animation. receivers are practically useless in this game, as they were in the past 3 maddens. make a game with gameplay likethis game is extremely bad. it’s not fun, it’s not PLAYABLE. the animations are atrocious. if i were you i’d run the ball every play, because anytime your receiver catches the ball in there hands, it’ll be swiped away by the cornerback just like that because of an animation. receivers are practically useless in this game, as they were in the past 3 maddens. make a game with gameplay like NCAA 14/madden 25 and then add all the awesome features from nfl 2k5 and you have yourself one of the best selling games in history. that’s all you have to do. take a year off, skip a year to do this for the madden community. is it that hard?… Expand

    After 2 days of playing...I just can't bring myself to playing it again... I deleted it from my system. Its time for someone else to make a NFL game. EA Sports is lagging so far behind in games these days. Enough 2nd chances. Enough is enough.

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.
