    Franchise mode is the same as last year. It sucks, it’s like playing exhibition over and over.

    Copy and pasted game from madden 20 with the bare minimum roster updates. Same glitches, same gameplay, same MUT BS, with new menu screens and new bad music. Face of the franchise is incomplete at launch and severely glitched, and normal franchise mode has received 0 updates. Real disappointment.

    They have changed nothing it's copy and paste. They have become lazy and the NFL needs to allow 2K to also make the game.

We deserve better madden players that’s been playing since 2000 til now are NOT accepting this.     Disgustingly bad. I've played a mobile game for 1 dollar better than this piece of crap. Waste of money. Even the 5 bucks for the trial wasn't worth it. Franchise is untouched as always. Buggy as hell. Don't buy this ass game.

    Played the demo, it's the same game as 16'17'18'19'20. It's a disgrace we need a new alternative.

    I'm done playing Madden games. I've been playing Madden ever since Madden 08 on the PS2. 12 years later and this game have not gotten any better, it's even gotten worse. It seems like EA just do not care about the product they put out to customers. NFL should be embarrassed to be represent by EA

    Franchise mode needs to be worked on, it's been far too long. My main complaint is the clunky upgrade mechanics.

    Nothing you haven't seen in Madden 21 if you've played Madden.

    Terrible game filled with glitches and lack of improvement. Copy and paste game with a new number at the end. Bring 2k football back.

    Not realistic at all, franchise mode has been the same forever, literally copy and paste the same game. Yes, there are some gameplay upgrades but that's it. It does feel better but so many glitches come with it.

    This has to stop, EA has effectively released the same game with the same glitches and features for the last 6 years and consumers have just let them do it. Please give us a 2k made game.

    Edit: They are now giving out madden free game codes to dilute the reviews of angry paying customers

    This needs to stop, in no way should this game be $60.00 it is the same game with different menues... with an added arcade mode. Why? Ea executives should be ashamed but they dont care...

    Everything wrong with modern gaming, recycled/reused assets (models, animations, cut scenes, etc) next to no improvements compared to older iterations + constant removal of options and features, complete lack of polish, and on top of that, predatory and shameless micro transactions.

    Same recycled trash game every year, basically a $60 update. They never change franchise mode every year. All that's new in franchise this year IS THAT THE BACKGROUND IS GOD DANG BLUE!! $60 FOR THE COLOR BLUE!!!

    Honestly absolute trash, so many bizarre glitches that ruin gameplay and still haven't been able to have my player turn up in face of the franchise, every time i enter with my character i end up with a dude literally named ‘Generic Player’. Franchise generally sucks, servers more unstable than ever and the AI decision making is like watching little league.     They added a bunch of new game modes to the game and now you can create your own character I think it is the best madden they have ever made

    I’m a defender of Madden games every year but this year really is an absolute pile of trash.

    1: Glitchy with plenty of bugs 2: Same franchise mode not a single difference 3: Hope you don’t enjoy running the football as the O-Line run blocking might gain you 4 yds maximum and absolutely nothing more. 4: Linebackers in coverage are absolutely useless 5: Literally had the ball ho    I’m a defender of Madden games every year but this year really is an absolute pile of trash.

    6: Every FG the kick meter freezes and ends up missing due to this
    7: Don’t bother with KR as the downfield blocking is rubbish
    8: A 300 pound defensive lineman gets stiff armed by a 185 pound running back all too frequently but only for the AI
    9: Soundtrack is absolutely horrendous
    10: All in all this is an unfinished product that was shoved out despite all the flaws

    A truly horrendous game that does not represent real football. EA need to either update this rubbish real quick to fix the nightmare they have created or refund all who bought this. Might be worth $20 in total but for the price they charge you would expect so much better    … Expand

I know the positive people try to shame Ryan Moody and Soft drink sports but I truly feel they are looking out for the community. How can people say the game is great when it is madden 19 with more glitches ? What happened to EA taking the time and making a quality football game? FOOTBALL FANS. Do not waste your money.… Expand

    I’ve never played a more half baked game in my life. There are more glitches and bugs than plays you can run in squad games without running into more bugs.

    I literally made a account just to give it zero stars, this game is AWFUL, franchise hasn’t been touched for a decade, I couldn’t even get into the yard, ultimate team is a money grab, the player faces are just ugly (like seriously who actually looks like that?), not to mention the gameplay sucks. Players will faze through each other every play and even you you are playing on All MaddenI literally made a account just to give it zero stars, this game is AWFUL, franchise hasn’t been touched for a decade, I couldn’t even get into the yard, ultimate team is a money grab, the player faces are just ugly (like seriously who actually looks like that?), not to mention the gameplay sucks. Players will faze through each other every play and even you you are playing on All Madden difficulty in franchise a player will fumble every single time they are hit sticked (even with 99 carrying).     As a franchise mode player, there is nothing new at all. Give us customise faces options, give us more face scans, give us off/def coordinators, give options to sign free agents contracts on our terms. Stop investing time in face of the franchise and random game modes like the yard. Please give 2K the license and see what another company could do with this!

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
