    The new improvements in madden are not real,they take away your choices in development,keep you from working on what your player needs to get better and cut and paste the rest in franchise mode,i am called the LA dream when drafting and my team is in San Diego and called the Crusaders plus you cant see my players names on the uniforms.even mobile phone games are made better.

    The moves are better when running the ball. Still, on screens the lineman do not block and simply run right past defenders and the QB release time is so slow its insane. The QB throws the ball horribly on the 10 yard hitch, if you dont throw it perfetly, the ball flies way over instead of underneath. To be honest madden 19 isnt very great and im a huge fan but it makes me not even wannaThe moves are better when running the ball.     Franchise mode is bland, empty, and lacks basic features that were in 10 years ago that have been removed. Very basic features such as historical stats, full coaching trees, in depth coaching development, and an engaging scouting system are noticeably lacking. This mode is almost the exact same as it was in Madden 15. I wont go into why its so bad because the list could go on for hours. If your thinking about buy this piece of trash, do your self a favor and don't. I hope you enjoy my $63 EA, because you wont ever see another penny out of me. I'm not even talking about madden, I refuse to ever buy a game with the EA logo on it and help profit an organization that will continue to rob some of its biggest customers and fans.     I don't understand how this isn't a free to play game. The menus are confusing and overly complicated because they're filled with advertisements to buy in game currency. 99% of every loading screen is just another ad for one of their microtransactions. The announcers repeat the same stuff they said last year and they never feel real or like they're actually commenting on the flow of theI don't understand how this isn't a free to play game. Physics are flawed beyond belief, realism has been pushed far aside in favor of arcade style play in every game mode. Height, weight, strength, and speed do not matter like they would in reality. Coverages, blocking, tackling, and several other aspects are a mockery of the game of football.... Online play is basically reduced to who can play a cheesier game and exploit the most weaknesses in design. Anyone who thinks favorably of this year's release is likely among these types of players. If you like chasing Mike Vick around for 30-40 minutes at a time then this game is for you..... If I could rate it less than zero, I would. I truly don't believe that John Madden has any insight on this title anymore. He, and the NFL, should seriously consider withdrawing any association that they have with this garbage. As far as madden 19 goes I would suggest taking it off the shelves in every store. Might as well the shelves are going to be filled with copies because everybody returned theirs anyways. I wish I were one of the lucky people that were able to turn this awful game back in, However i bought it online so the only joy i had was deleting it. All in all this game is bad and I mean BAD if you want to purchase an at least halfway decent game I would suggest that you don't buy one made by EA sports.… Expand

    I actually did have fun with the game at some times, like playing online and pulling off tricky plays, but that only happens rarely. I ended up running a Hail Mary with 9 seconds left in the 1st half, up by 10. He was in Cover 2 Man so it seemed like an easy TD. Keenan Allen beat his man and Rivers threw a dime to him. It bounced off Allen's hands and landed in Travis Benjamin's hands off the tip, and ran it back to the house with no one ahead. This happened a few hours before writing this actually. But the cons still out weight the pros and they seem to focus on MUT instead of Franchise.

    I see little to no improvement with Franchise mode, but I do like the new leveling up system. If they could add back superstar, or even just add a 2k like career mode, i.e go through college, and then get drafted by a good or bad team depending on how you preformed.

    Longshot, oh how much I hate longshot.. I spent a few god ugly hours on longshot trying to squeeze some fun out of it. I can't understand the childish humor that is expressed throughout, and I understand it is a E rated game. It makes me sick to know half the resources were put towards this

    MUT is a mode that I enjoyed for a while, then noticed the flaws. MICRO-TRANS-ACTIONS, you cant escape them, no matter where you go!     I decided to get my old GameCube out and play some of my old games during Christmas time. After awhile I ended up playing Madden 08, which is the last Madden game I played. I had a lot of fun creating my own team, then playing with that team in franchise mode on Madden 08. I then got a wild idea, "I should get Madden 19 for my PS4! It will be so cool to see how much progress this gameI decided to get my old GameCube out and play some of my old games during Christmas time. After awhile I ended up playing Madden 08, which is the last Madden game I played. I had a lot of fun creating my own team, then playing with that team in franchise mode on Madden 08. I then got a wild idea, "I should get Madden 19 for my PS4! It will be so cool to see how much progress this game had made in 11 years!".

    Franchise Mode:
    Upon loading the game up I realized that the "create a team feature" has been removed. I then found out that I can relocate my team in franchise mode, but you can't really create a team. You have to choose between a few politically correct pre made teams. I then got to my first off season. And this is when I realized that Madden 08 is a more complete game then Madden 19. All you do in the off season is sign free agents, complete the draft, and that's it. The whole franchise mode has been drastically simplified. It's pathetic. There was so much more to do in franchise mode in Madden 08. Madden 19 is a watered down, simplified, lazy, and un-engaging mode.

    Gameplay:
    The gameplay really sucks. First off, the presentation is horrible. It gets annoying because the announcers are horrible. And it cuts to showing the coach way to often. I literally don't care at all about the coach. So holding "X" after every play to skip the cut scene of the coach's reaction to the play gets profoundly annoying. Also, the passing is broken in this game. You cannot throw a pass over a defender in this game. If there is a defender between the QB and receiver, the pass will get intercepted if you throw it. The AI is broken as well. Especially for running. You need to manually control every single run, because the AI is incapable of running though a hole, or following a blocker. All these issues were not present in Madden 08.

    MUT Mode:
    I refuse to play this piece of garbage. This mode is what's wrong with the gaming industry. Imagine if instead of MUT we got a complete franchise mode experience.

    This game is trash. I rated it a zero, because I bought this game. And after playing it for a couple days, I will be returning to Madden 08 on the GameCube.    … Expand

    I've played Madden since 1996...yep. This is not a good game this year. Large defense players are way too fast and catch up with the ball carrier way to unrealistic. Linebackers also make incredible jumps and interceptions. I would not recommend buying this game. Just play an older version with a roster you like. I bought brand new and then sold it. Worst Madden ever.

There are no additional features, besides longshot (nobody asked for it) and it just feels like the game has been copy and pasted but somehow with worse gameplay. way to many glitches that affect the outcome of the game and forced animations that dont make sense in anyway. im late but madden 20This is not a quality game at all. Passes are dropped constantly unless the CPU is throwing and if your WR's aren't dropping them then the linebackers channel their inner Jordan and jump 15 feet into the air to grab it.

    Over the last five years, EA has not developed this game. I am being nice. The case could easily be made that EA has not developed the game since they bought the exclusive NFL license.
    That goes for every part of the game except for graphics. Naturally.

    4. Gameplay is even worse than in 2016. In Madden 19, a linebacker can cover a wideout on a go-route. Backpedaling. And he even intercepts the pass. I wanted to know if it was a glitch. It wasn't. Nigel Bradham got the INT 5 out 5 times.

    Flaming garbage! Google "Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment for Maximized Engagement in Digital Games". You really have no control of what happens in this game. You have the same amount of control when you yell at your tv watching real football. This game is nothing more than an online casino through the MUT mode. EA cares about nothing else.

    I reset my ps4 because the game froze everything and I lost ALL my progress on EVERYTHING. All my franchises were gone, any player I made were gone, just everything. Also, once I got another franchise going, I clicked the wrong button and instead of asking me if I really want to proceed to playoffs, it started to simulate to playoffs! My team didn’t make it because I wasn’t playing and,I reset my ps4 because the game froze everything and I lost ALL my progress on EVERYTHING. All my franchises were gone, any player I made were gone, just everything. Also, once I got another franchise going, I clicked the wrong button and instead of asking me if I really want to proceed to playoffs, it started to simulate to playoffs! My team didn’t make it because I wasn’t playing and, after hours of playing, I ended up with absolutely no saved progress. This may be the worst game I’ve ever gotten and I wouldn’t recommend this game for anyone. No certain age, so certain type of person, NO ONE. Stay away from this app like me (now).… Expand

    Complete trash, the world would be a better place if everyone took a stand and stopped buying these games. Don't feed the beast and give in because it's the only thing on the shelves; just suck it up and play the older ones for a year when the latest edition comes out and force EA to change their ways.

    This has to be the worst madden ever. The gameplay is just absurdly awful. The only game mode I enjoyed was longshot and even sometimes I had to mute my tv because It was so cringe. I'd much rather play madden 20 or 21 and those are terrible games. At this point just take away all game modes and leave ultimate team there. DONT BUY IT.

    Madden 19 was and is the WORST Madden Game ever made. Madden 19 showed nothing new at all even though it was a commercial success, I still say that Madden 13 was the worst game of the Franchise because it was the title that killed the series and set up the terrible foundation for future titles but one thing that Madden 13 is obviously better than Madden 19 is gameplay because Madden 19Madden 19 was and is the WORST Madden Game ever made. Madden 19 showed nothing new at all even though it was a commercial success, I still say that Madden 13 was the worst game of the Franchise because it was the title that killed the series and set up the terrible foundation for future titles but one thing that Madden 13 is obviously better than Madden 19 is gameplay because Madden 19 runs on the Frostbite Engine (a game engine used for Battlefield a First-Person Shooter).

    Madden 19's Franchise Mode was completely shallow and made Madden 08 feel superior to Madden 19. There was barely anything to do in the game, there wasn't a Superstar or Career Mode just a sequel to Longshot from Madden 18 with barely any gameplay, there was also no Mini-Camp, Tournament Mode, Fantasy Football Mode (Ultimate Team w/no micro-transactions), and a lot more game modes... This game had nothing else to do than opening MUT packs. The game is missing over 80+ features, the gameplay is completely ruled by animations, & so many BUGS AND GLITCHES!!!

    Sports games today except Rocket League are incredibly underwhelming and EA Sports Games are the worst sports games today. Just go play other sports games like Madden 2004-08, NCAA Football, NFL/NBA/FIFA Street, NFL 2K, All-Pro Football 2K8, NBA 2K except 2K18, Backbreaker, older MLB the Show titles, Fight Night, and many more titles. Play those sports games or play other games instead of playing this buggy/glitchy cash-grabbing filth of a game.

    Madden NFL 19 is a sublime example of what can be achieved with a sports title. The Real Player Motions generates that feeling of not 'controlling' players, but rather living as the players instead. Seeing how lifelike all the players are within a match, and how they communicate with each other before and during plays, and then watching them seamlessly get into the next play, is freakishly uncanny.
