    While this game definitely had the potential to be much better, it is still an enjoyable experience. I played this game with my wife so if you are looking for a fun multiplayer game or something you can play with the family; this is a good option for PS4 owners.

    There are a few bugs plaguing the game but there is nothing really game breaking.     There are a few bugs plaguing the game but there is nothing really game breaking. Many times, we ran into an error when we tried to pull up another profile saved on the PS4 when another player joined the game. This required me to delete the profile several times. It was incredibly frustrating to lose all the collected outfits and stickers associated with the profile.

    The story mode is creative and fun but it is pretty short. There is definitely enough to keep it interested and the environment and levels look beautiful. As good as the levels look, not all of them are completely fun or amazing. There are a few areas in the game that require teamwork to access and those are pretty rewarding moments. However, there are other parts of the game that actually seem harder with more people since you share lives.

    The new characters are fun to play with but others may not like them all. And since you spend most of the story mode unlocking them, it seems like the story ends much too soon. Creating levels and created levels is what gives this game the most life. I myself am not the creative type but I do find some of the levels other people created to be incredible fun.    … Expand

    Not nearly as good as the first LBP game, but an improvement from LPB 2. Story was alright, gameplay was better than what it was in LPB 2 and the new creating possibilities are enormous.

    Having played (and loved) both LBP and LBP2, I was really excited to play this!

    It quickly becomes apparent that the developers (sumo digital) just dont have the ability to keep up the standard set by Media Molecule. The game starts out enjoyable enough but the further into the game you get, the more difficult it becomes, and im used to this with other games, but i play LBP to have fun    Having played (and loved) both LBP and LBP2, I was really excited to play this!

    The later parts of the game are absolutely infuriating, so much so that i quit playing it, its a real shame because i love sackboy and his new friends! :(

    When i heared they were making a LittleBigPlanet 3, I was extremely excited. However when I got the game, I realized that all it was, is a LBP 2.5. Not much changes from the game. The newest additions to the game being 16 layers instead of 3 only, an item wheel and 3 new characters. All nice, but didn't justify the purchase. There are also many bugs in the game including getting stuck inWhen i heared they were making a LittleBigPlanet 3, I was extremely excited.     Gameplay is good, coop is nice graphics are good, online mode is a desaster. Sadly I bought this full price and completed it with mys GF in 6 hours and it was fun. Yet disappointingly short. Then I tried playing online and always got kicked from everyone and was not able to play at all. Then I put that game onto my shelf and that's it.    To make it short: This game is way too short.

    I enjoyed the game but honestly was a bit disappointed. I really enjoyed the first two games but this one is not as great in my opinion.

    A pesar de que ya ha perdido el factor sorpresa que nos maravilló con su primera entrega, sigue siendo una saga con una jugabilidad tremenda y con unos decorados maravillosos que te hacen pasar horas de diversión como pocos plataformas consiguen en la nueva generación de consolas

La campaña se hizo mucho mas corta, y los niveles no son tan interesantes como antes, ademas de tener muchos bugs y glitches, incluso mas que en las anteriores entregas. Ademas de que en el modo creativo algo que en lo personal no me gusto es no poder cambiar el numero de capas, estando limitado siempre a las capasLittle big planet 3, honestamente.... es muy inferior a los anteriores.     While still a decent game, LittleBigPlanet 3 never reaches the greatness of it's predecessors. Unfortunately Sumo Digital is just no Media Molecule.

    Well, i loved the original littlebigplanet on ps3 but this one felt uninterested and repetitive in its soul. Still a very good platforming game for ps4 but you will have a better ride with thr first two games.

    Its really a shame how the series dropped, I felt the story was really odd for this one and it had a really weird mission system with not nearly enough unlockables and tried to focus on that with paid ones. Its still more lbp so you can't be disappointing but it just didn't have the charm of the first one

    Campaing is short, story bored, long loadings, gameplay if i compare with rayman legends, this game is simply weak. Get +1 point if you like play community levels or you like creating.

    I feel as though LBP3 came out a couple years too late — when it was announced I was excited, but also had somewhat forgot about the franchise. I bought it when it came out and immediately felt like something was off. The game didn't look as organic as the past instalments. It also seemed to lose a lot of the charm. Maybe it was because nothing seemed new/groundbreaking, or the addition ofI feel as though LBP3 came out a couple years too late — when it was announced I was excited, but also had somewhat forgot about the franchise. I bought it when it came out and immediately felt like something was off. The game didn't look as organic as the past instalments. It also seemed to lose a lot of the charm. Maybe it was because nothing seemed new/groundbreaking, or the addition of voice acting (which I definitely don't like), but something was definitely not right.

    My biggest complaint is the difficulty. With the addition of the new characters there's tons more ways to fail and die while trying to finish the adventure. I basically have given up on the Great Escape level because I wanted to snap my controller in half. This LBP reminds me a lot of the LEGO Games (collecting, multiple characters with unique abilities) and so I wish they would get rid of the "you die you have to restart the level."    … Expand

    Story sucks like usual and is like 4-5 hours long
    New characters are not used very much in the story
    Bugs and glitches (Patch coming)

    The creator is still great and way better than the creator in LBP2.

    Do not buy the game if your sole purpose is to play the story mode.

    The game itself is good, but lacks too much differentiation from its previous iterations. Fortunately, I've only run into a few bugs. LBP3 has joy to be found, but doesn't differentiate itself enough to stand out. Media Molecule didn't work on this, and it shows.

    Just like the reason of why I bought a ps3, this is why a bought a ps4. Such a huge disappointment, this game had such good potential, and it was just wasted and ended up being so bad. I'm already looking forward to Little Big Planet 4 after this train wreck.

    Dissapointment.The game isn't bad.It's just dissapointing.It has the look of the original and the gameplay of the second game but none of the heart and soul.Create mode is amazing.It has so many amazing tool's for creator's.It's a shame that the game is buggy.The new charecter's are good.The story is easily the weakest in the series.Buy it when it gets fixed,it should get a cheaper by then.

    Me ha gustado, a diferencia de los otros anteriores, este he notado la campaña bastante más corta y las innovaciones que tiene este juego son los artilugios y los 3 personajes nuevos, lo demás es lo de siempre pero es muy entretenido y divertido y con amigos es mucho mejor.

    Its an okay game.... but not really the fun game to play for hours. I spent hours on this last holiday and didn't really play it much after that. I hope i'll play this game again soon.

    Little Big Planet 3 is not the game I've been waiting for. First off it's way too short you can beat it in like 5 hours!!!!! and it doesn't even feel like an LBP game, likely because it's made by a different developer no longer MediaMolecule it's now SumoDigital. it just feels half assed and not worth your money luckily i got it on a valentines day sale so i wasn't in deep s***

There is the usual 4 player co-op (both online and offline), there are some gadgets, there is the usual nonsensical story and some cute art style, but nothing new. The new characters could have refreshed the stagnating series' core gameplay, but sadly they are little more than a cameo.

    Aside from that, there are more and better tools than ever to build whatever you want in Creation mode and better tutorials to understand how it works. You can make anything ranging from a simple platforming level and an basic arcade game, to whole cut-scenes/movies and even entire games like RPGs. It's essentially a suite to create games for those who are patient and skilled enough. The LBP community have created some amazing things you have to check out. You can also import levels built on previous games, so you have instant access to pretty much all of the user-generated content since the first LBP game.

    LBP 3 is still a good platform game to play either solo or with friends, but fans of the series won't find much to excite them. It's a pity LBP has hit a wall, there may not be another new LBP game, and original developers Media Molecule are now working on Dreams. Let's hope for the better.    … Expand

    It added some cool new mechanics but the story wasn't as good as I expected and the multiplayer mode had a lot of lag and the game also had many bugs. Still a fun game but not the same classic it used to be. I hope one day LBP 4 is released and it fixes the mistakes made in    LBP 3 was a letdown for me.     It's a serious damn shame what happened to this franchise. LBP 3 introduces new sacks to play with, but they don't offer the versatile gameplay that was promised.

    First let me start by saying that I've played all the Little Big Planet titles including Little Big Planet Racing and have been a fan since Little Big Planet 1. I absolutely loved that game and spent many hours in it including getting the extremely difficult Platinum trophy.     This game is great first half but 2nd half is terrible. When flying or fast running characters are introduce game is not able to work correct in local co-op. I played it only in local co-op and I have impression that game was not tested.
    A lot of level gliches(something will not work and you need to restart).

    Really bad camera when playing 2nd half of game levels in local co-op, you kill each other by too big distance(single jump or tube make such distance).
    Terrible respawn mechanism (your mate is dead, you go forward to continue but in corner you see respawn point, then your mate respawn, camera focus on him and you die) There should be button that you hold to trigger respawn.
    At end game try to be longer by just not giving you respawn points that results with glichy levels a lot of tries.
    Game is short! really too short - 65 euro for so short game?
    While game is short I had to buy extra strory that cost me 7 euro and it took us 3h to complete... lol.
    Game can crash during loading(in 3 days few crashes, only crashes I had since I bought ps4).
    Face/mood mechnism and R2/L2 hand control is also not used at all. Do you remember Oddworld fart-hello-sing minigames? With those faces/hands this should be somehow used in this game like in oddworld.. but well faces/hands are useless.
    This game looks half completed and overpriced. I guess someone pushed devs to complete while first half is nice designed(first robot fight was for me WOW, cool game) and 2nd is really poor quality. Local co-op was also pretty skipped in testing.
    Hope some big patch will be released to fix at least control and respawn problems. Too bad game is so short and every another short story try to get your money.

    As an adult gamer i do not like this game. I do not care about level creation. I pay to have that done ahead of time. I look for challenge skill and precise control in platform games (howdy rayman your good stuff.) thats about it champs.

    Doesn't make me come back...

    I got this game along with the choose your game for the ps4. My friends told me i should 've gotten something else but when i started this, they were right. I stopped coming back to it and all the characters were weirdly modeled. I thought the introduction part was fun but I only played 2 times

When I first started playing I wanted to finish the campaign portion of the game, but I just can't force myself to play it for that long. I could not bring myself to play it for more then 30 minuets at a time. This is not a horrible game, it's really not even a bad game. But I could not get into it, and I never want to play it again. But that's MY OPINION.… Expand

    story is weak, some times unskippable, stages are way worse than in LBP2;

    but great platform for creativity... not enough for a player, not a future game designer

    The story isn't too interesting, but it's a kids game so they may enjoy it. The creator is... better than LBP2's creator. But the devs haven't addressed the terrible server issues and bugs. The devs have prettymuch abandoned the game really. The community is still good but everything seems a little less lively.

    Game is fun to play with friends but nothing more. The menu design is horrible. I just did not know how to go to the next level or if I already played te level. At the end this was a dealbreaker.

    A funny game with some uncomfortable bugs. It's fun to play with someone else, but there are certain bugs that it's intolerable that they're still here after all the time that has passed since launch.

    That's not even mentioning the broken community UI, the missing DLC on the PS4 version, and the general lack of improvement from LBP2 or V. It's not to say that these aren't welcome additions, they just are not massive changes in a series that is starting to stagnate.

    The story contains fun levels (if much less cohesive and polished than its predecessors) and the community will assuredly make awesome things, but until the developers patch the modicum of bugs I wouldn't recommend this installment.    … Expand

    I played two previous games with my friends and it was pure coop fun. However, this one feels fake. Everything is undercooked:
    - Loading times are ridiculuos
    - As a number of tutorial screens even in the world view
    - The gameplay is interrupted every minute with a video tutorial of sorts
    - The levels themselves feel generic

    I stopped playing at 30%. This game has no more soul.

    I loved LBG 1, it was easy to get into, fast to play, and there was no speech we added a certain charm to the game. Fast forward to LBG 3 and you have a buggy game, with mediocre gameplay, and what seems for ever to actually get into said average gameplay. The introduction to the game took a good 30 minutes, even as I was skipping through the tutorials. I    LBG 3, what went wrong?

The game is much, MUCH shorter than 1 or 2, with only three main hub worlds with three missions in two and two in the final one, plus the final mission, with some sidequests in between. I pushed through the whole thing in 2-3 hours at most. The new characters are the USP of the game, with three different characters to choose from, each with their own abilities and traits. However, just like the new gadgets the game introduces in a gadget wheel, they all just amount to gimmicks, with nothing really big to do with them, save for the final boss fight.

    The level design, although fairly balanced, isn't nearly as good as anything in LBP1 or 2. They're also much shorter and generally less fun to play around in. The musical score isn't as lively and energetic as it was, and the game as a whole just feels less... fun. Which is the entire point of this series.

    The multiplayer is also broken. Connection issues are the worst they've ever been, and connecting online outright doesn't work most of the time, requiring you to go back to the XMB and restart the entire game just to cancel it trying to connect. The Dive In function in PS4 does not work. It actually is broken. You press the button and nothing happens, so that's cool.

    So overall, the game's single player is dumb, and its multiplayer is nearly non-functional, so this game is hardly a game at all. It's amazing how they skimped on the single player so they could get away with having the community make the game for them and they failed at even that.

    Handing over this game to a different developer definitely hurt the game more than it helped it. For a game supposedly about imagination, the game seems to offer very little of it.    … Expand

    I played 2 hours of this game. The majority you barely play. It is mainly boring story.

    Compare this with games like Crash Bandicoot and Super Mario. They let you play the game 90% of the time.

    Having an Elvis impersonator follow you around while 50's music plays is not fun. I don't want cliches. It's just so uninspiring. A chore to play.

    P.S. stickers are not fun or pleasing.

    Extremely short main story. Long loading times, and lots of loading to be had. Game just isn't as imaginative and fun as LBP 1, which I loved.

    Game is overly complicated. The game is beautiful and had a lot of potential, but I couldn't enjoy it with my 7y old daughter.

Little big Planet 2, had bugs at the beginning, but nothing this horrible. TEST THE GAME before you release it is my only advice.     As soon as you put the disk in and run the application, your imagination juices start to flow. The live action intro video of the people playing opens what should be an amazing work of art. Playing by offline solo or multiplayer is nothing short of amazing.     The game is really short, and there is some new characters that are not used almost at all, and for some reason my progress didn't save when I played online which made me have to start all over again for no reason. LBP 2 is far superior.

    Not as good as MediaMolecule's previous games. The final level in the story mode is incredibly frustrating and not designed with multiplayer in mind at all.

    Another huge mistake, in my opinion, was making the game more vertical than horizontal (a trademark of the series). The game became unnecessarily "complex" to explore, with sidequests and a few gimmicks to make it different (and longer). Nobody wanted that! Just give us a handful of GORGEOUS, 2D SIDE SCROLLING LEVELS. Is that too much to ask?

    I gave up on the game. I don't have too much time to play anymore, so I really need to enjoy myself and have fun with a game I decide to purchase. I fear the franchise dies here, folks. And that is just sad.    … Expand

    I hate this game so much. The jolly voices which try to teach me how to play just annoy me beyond belief. The complete drivel introduction alienated me before the game even started. Wow, I have never hated a game so much so fast.

    You can tell that the absence of the original developer (MediaMolecule) hurt this series, either testing was not done, the game was rushed.
    Do not believe the 10s as they would probably give Unity a 10 as well if it was a ps4 exclusive. In    LBP3's "game breaking" bugs aren't exactly as game breaking as Unity's, however it completely destroys the experience of an otherwise average game.

    Bought this game day 1 to see what all the fuss was about on the ps4, deciding to trade it in the next day.

    Developers should be held accountable for their broken games, i had no idea this game was broken until i played it.
    Planets disappear when i go into pod, that's a regular game breaking bug i keep on getting, some movie levels give me an error code and then crashes all the time so they only way to get further into the story is to    This is just another broken game to come out this year.

    My game save has been corrupted once, but save was saved in the ps+ cloud.
    The boss i have to face with toggle, when i first got to the boss i little toggle disappears and i can't even see him, and when i restarted i was playing as sack boy.
    And here we are 1 and a half months after release the game still has not been fixed.
    I was a huge fan of the first 2.

    LittleBigPlanet 3 wasn't an easy legacy to take on, but Sumo Digital made a good job and released the best entry in the franchise to date... but also the most controversial with lots of bugs and missed opportunities.
