I have to be honest, I was hoping for more use of the Jurassic Park license in Jurassic World Evolution. That out of the way, JWE is a rather deep strategy game and is a must have for any true Jurassic Park fan.

Graphics: Very nice, a few dips in frame-rate when the screen was filled with screaming citizens. Some of the texture pop or collision detection failures when flying in the chopper. Nothing too drastic, a good look overall.

Sound: EXCELLENT. The Dino's sound great, you can tell having access to audio files from the films paid off here. Ambient noise is done well, voice actors all did very good - even Goldblum was a joy to listen to and never felt un-enthusiastic or detached in the narrative.

Overall: Easy to pick up and play, but with a good amount of complexity stemming from menu management and balancing the three tiers of your park (Science, Amusement, Security). Its a nice tribute to a forgotten Xbox game and the JP franchise - although you can tell the focus here was all on the dinosaurs. That's fitting, but some of the other builder/sim mechanics in the game suffer for it.

    Chaotic and fun - 8/10

Jurrasic World Evolution is a Tycoon styled game where youre tasked with running your own Jurassic Parks…
There are 6 total islands here to unlock all with their own challenges, such as dealing with an island that gets frequent storms, or turning a failed park into something profitable…
And to unlock these islands you first have to prove yourself in the islands prior…
to do so youll be juggling your science, entertainment and security…
as your doing your thing, building your park.. youll get constant tasks that reward you with cash that will be something along the lines of building a certain facility, hatching a certain dinosaur, or taking pictures…
this cash will go tawards building items in your park as well as excavating and unlocking upgrades..
excavation is another great opportunity to earn some cash..
you git a list of possible fosils, your team goes out collects the fossils, brings them back and you can then extract them and make progress towards a genome for that dinosaur species. Biut youll also get materials you can sell for high prices…
its not quote as simple as just build a park and keep your guests happy though..
you also have to keep your dinos happy..
make sure they have food to eat, give them plenty of room to roam around, make sure theyre comfortable so that they aren’t constantly breaking their fences which gets annoying as youre trying to chase ratings, keep everything calmed balanced and organized, they’ll get into fights, so youll have to find ways to separate, they’ll get sick, they’ll die.. so you have to heal them and transport dead dinosaurs out of the park..
it’s a little annoying though that there isn’t an option to sortve automate things like in a roller coaster tycoon where you hire workers, drop them into the world and they automatically fix things and clean
you have to go to problem areas yourself and then command your team to heal, fix, tranqulize a lose dinosaur before they eat too many guests and transport them back to their living area..
it is cool that you are able to just take control of the vehicles completely to get a 3rd person perspective of your park if youd like.. which does give you more incentive to actually create something cool..
though sometimes youll have to if for example a storm knocks out the power to their station..
they cant be commanded, but you can go out and fix things yourself..
as you do unluck new areas youre free to revisit your old islands and use its recourses to unlock new buildings for example or mutations to alter your dinosaurs before you hatch them…
your unlocks and fosils carry from island to island.. it isn’t constantly starting over which I appreciate..
the only thing that doesn’t carry over is your cash…
but again youre able to send out temas from other islands and save the fosils they find to sell on your new island if youre really hurting for cash..
but the park is running real time in the background so you might find yourself having to fix things up again before you return
Jurrassic World Evolution offers a decent challenge and tons of fun in creating and trrying to run a successful park..
This is a game that you don’t necessarily have to even be into the series to enjoy..
Theres something here for just flat out dinosaur fans or tycoon management fans..
this is a great game no matter which of those 3 reasons youre coming in for
    I give Jurassic Wordld Evolution
    an 8/10

I'm also in love, that you are able to play as a ranger and drive the jeep (give you even more immersion),

Jurassic World Evolution isn't a complex game, I found it incredibly easy to pick up after learning everything within the first 2-3 hours of gameplay. And that's coming from someone who rarely plays Zoo Tycoon games or RTS games in general.

If you like dinosaurs, and Jurassic Park, DON'T pass this game up.

I admit, JWE has a lot of chance & spot to improve its gameplay deepthness on its sequel (if any). so far, im so satisfied with the current game form (consider there is no other game which offer similiar magnificence ancient creature tycoon like JWE! good work!

this 10/10 review is nothing but to raise a change of frontier to make a game sequel (well, if any),
i really appreciate & so glad that this game has been made. frontier has a lot of chance to improve & it can be applied on the JWE's sequel! but at least the current game foundation has been strong entertaining enough (current JWE).

several things that i think should be & can be improved was :
    1. there is no access & any additional features for all guest related building, what we can do is only build it (or demolish it to earn some money) & see it attract the visitors (visitors come & by), thats all. well at least i expect we can see the guest related building door opens when the visitors come by, but this is not (visitors come through a passive doors). very lack of depthness,

well you can clearly see 2 things
    a. frontier doesnt concern on those detail so deep (the whole game graphic is the higher target)
    b. frontier has lack of time on thinking about the building operational details

    2. We have no acces to see how viewing vents looks like. in JPOG, we can click the viewing vent & see how we can view the dinos as if we are the visitors, its beautiful & show how decent our viewing vent as a connector of the visitors to see the dinos.

Same with the transportation train, it would be so new & beautiful if we can see how it looks like from the inside of the train while its moving around the park,

well im so sad that this kind of basic things is lack on the game,
please, you build a viewing facility but know nothing how it looks like, i mean, how is my dinos looks like from that viewing vent, i dont know. but i build it & pretending that view has been satisfying enough for the visitors.

    3. i bet a lot of JPOG fans think about this. well on its high end jurassic world game version, we hope there will be an aerial & aquatic dinos (alongside with its related park facility). but yeah, it havent happened yet. seems like frontier cannot release a bigger effort for it (i dont know why). if there is, it would be fantastic (since it might be the 1st game that consider about the aerial & aquatic dinos).

well it just my big dream,
at least so far JWE has offer remarkable overhaul on the JP's tycoon simulator game.

while playing this game, i feel my dream on seeing a new model of a JPOG's game has been come true. but at the same time, JWE's still left some missing things which make me keep dreaming about it.

I played this game on PS4, which means the game has to adjust itself to a controller layout to suit the gamer. Luckily, the controls for the game are excellent. They are friendly on the player by not over complicating it, and it is support by a very practical user interface. This game is tailor made to be accessible for a wide audience.

When it comes to building parks, the game offers a long road map in acquiring all the types of dinosaurs and upgrades for your park. While the behavior of the dinosaurs isn't sophisticated, they have their needs and limits which gives the player plenty of challenge for housing dinosaurs while making sure the area serves their needs.

The difficulty of the game itself isn't very high. The park has to throw some really chaotic situations at you to make it hard, which doesn't happen unless you have a large park with many dinosaurs.

To finish this up, the game offers dozens of hours of fun for Management games enthusiasts like myself, and it's stunning to look at. A shame their are now aquatic or aerial dinosaurs, especially considering the game locks 5 dinosaurs behind an deluxe dlc pack. I give this game an 8/10. It is an excellent game.

Solid park builder game, dinosaurs move, sound and look great with a massive variety in types. Career mode is fun enough with sandbox mode for more freedom. Is Jurassic World Evolution worth the price of admission? That’s tough to answer. On one hand, I look forward to dinosauring (as I call it) every night, especially after I’d unlocked the challenge-free sandbox which allows me to build the park of my dreams without limits, but unlocking every piece of technology and every species of dino means slogging through an uninspired campaign. It’s frustrating, but there’s still nothing like watching a newly-hatched T. rex roar her way out into the world.
