    Journey of the Broken Circle is a sweet, thought-provoking adventure that’s well worth the journey. Despite a few missteps with some contradictory controls and a short run time, Circle has grown on me and I’ll be rolling back into this one until the final trophy pops. It’s just a shame that there’s not much more to enjoy.

    The gameplay of Journey of the Broken Circle almost caused me to throw my controller across the room and quit several times over its brief journey. But I kept coming back to it because I was charmed by the story and the atmosphere. Those expecting a decent platforming experience might want to look elsewhere, but there is a lot to like.

    A chore to complete some chapters. Should be renamed journey of the broken controls. While the hand painted looking graphics are nice and theA chore to complete some chapters. While the hand painted looking graphics are nice and the story is meaningful enough, it just doesn't get past the ineffectiveness of the controller interface. i may have given this a 3 but the devs decision to add the ridiculously flawed bonus chapter "bad trip" in the trophy set deserves a few lost points. Its maddening really. dont waste your $ and if you get it free , dont waste your time.… Full Review »

    Journey of the broken circle as an a little over 2 and a half hour long adventure platforming game where you play as a circle.. you set out to find your perfect fit, to become whole… this is a story about break ups…how to deal with them.. and jus overall acceptance… as you find new things to complete you, youll do platforming sections based off of that thing… such as sticking to a wall, floating in air, or going really fast… the magic here really I in the story telling, the way it opens your eyes to relationhip problems is really clever, and is the main reason to even play this.. if youre looking for pure gameplay, eh.. the platforming wont really challenge you.. its kind of just there as an obstacle to overcome in your new relationship.. nothing too crazy..very straightforward.. you go right… and get over the things in your way.. search for mushrooms to play bonus levels.. but again the beauty isn’t in the gameplay, so for me personally I didn’t like the actual platforming enough to want more when I was done.. as again I found it to be just kinda something to do while journey of the broken circle sets out to tell you its story and give you its lessons..
    This definitely isn’t a game for everyone, but I enjoyed it for what it was.
