    If you have previously enjoyed games like Thomas was Alone, then Journey of the Broken Circle on Xbox is going to be for you. The developers have created a beautiful and magical world with strange, unreal characters, but have managed to place real-world issues into it; the mix works brilliantly.

    Journey of the Broken Circle is more than meets the eye. It’s an easy to pick up 2D platformer that delivers an excellent narrative about love, existentialism, and friendships. From the actual gameplay perspective, nothing is gated through difficulty and even younger gamers could play and enjoy. Throw in some collectibles and audio that pairs up well with the mood of the story and you’ve got yourself a game. Recommended to fans of story and casual platforming.

    I did enjoy my time rolling with Circle during his journey to complete himself. The story was great, the graphics matched the simple premise of the game, and rolling through the game's beautiful scenes while listening to its relaxing music was a great experience. But with its high peaks, there are also low valleys that I just cannot get past. Tough to follow dialog bubbles really disconnected me from the story at times, and frustrating sequences like the magnetic fields and cloud hopping really hurt the entire experience overall.

    I expected anything but didn't think the result would be so good. This is an amazing platformer that takes its atmosphere and narrative. InI expected anything but didn't think the result would be so good. This is an amazing platformer that takes its atmosphere and narrative. In addition to the amazing sound design, there is also a very interesting story.

    It's amazing how strong the narrative is in the game, about relationships and finding oneself, about inner fears and fighting them, about those who help us survive the most difficult moments in our lives, and all this was told to me in an indie platformer! I don’t see such a plot in many AAA games, therefore, I got the maximum pleasure from passing the game.

    P.S. - bonus levels here, it's something else fun. The game is made with talent, and caring, albeit with little crooked hands. I recommend it to all. Glory to Ukraine!    … Expand

    Journey of the broken circle as an a little over 2 and a half hour long adventure platforming game where you play as a circle.. you set out to find your perfect fit, to become whole… this is a story about break ups…how to deal with them.. and jus overall acceptance… as you find new things to complete you, youll do platforming sections based off of that thing… such as sticking to a wall, floating in air, or going really fast… the magic here really I in the story telling, the way it opens your eyes to relationhip problems is really clever, and is the main reason to even play this.. if youre looking for pure gameplay, eh.. the platforming wont really challenge you.. its kind of just there as an obstacle to overcome in your new relationship.. nothing too crazy..very straightforward.. you go right… and get over the things in your way.. search for mushrooms to play bonus levels.. but again the beauty isn’t in the gameplay, so for me personally I didn’t like the actual platforming enough to want more when I was done.. as again I found it to be just kinda something to do while journey of the broken circle sets out to tell you its story and give you its lessons..
    This definitely isn’t a game for everyone, but I enjoyed it for what it was.
