Invisible Inc. starts funny but quickly turns to be annoying and frustrating. The difficulty rises insanely, which makes impossible to beat the machine other than beginner. As the story goes forward you'll see your agents surrounded, outnumbered, without weapons or power to disable cameras and spying drones. I wonder if any developer achieved the end or if neither they were capable to do that.

This is the absolute example of a wrong graphic choice, putting so many information on a tiny isometric view just make it so confuse. What we have here is a concept sketch of a game that absolutely need another view (Fp/Tp?), and this could be the mini-map in the corner of the screen.

note: still bugs to be fixed !

Too bad you can't edit a review. Since playing a bit more of the game, I've found a game-breaking bug that seems unavoidable. Upon finishing a run and going back to the preparation screen, an error comes up saying that the character-upgrade screen can't be loaded, and brings the game back to the title menu. Impossible to avoid this, and kinda screws your run. Waiting on an update here.

Invisible Inc. is a tactical turn-based strategy game very much in the vein of X-Com, albeit with more of a focus on stealth.

Each “play through” generally takes around 5-6 hours with the aim being to tackle a series of missions in order to prepare your agents for a final assault on the enemy that significantly ups the difficulty. There are a decent selection of items to find and give

There are a decent selection of items to find and give to your agents but in terms of customisation and depth this side of the game is very lacking compared to the recent X-Com games.

Multiple play throughs are encouraged by the “randomly” generated missions and levels but, whilst I did enjoy the tense gameplay at first, I found things were already starting to become a little repetitive by just my second attempt as there is nothing new to see in terms of gameplay or mission design.

Overall I found Invisible Inc. to be an enjoyable 5-6 hour experience but I don’t think it likely I’ll ever bother going back for any more play throughs.

This could have been a fantastic game. Unfortunately the angle of the map is skewed so I can't see where I am standing. If this game had a top down view it could be great.

Several times I thought I was standing by a door or under cover.....I wasn't and got killed. In a game as unforgiving as this, it becomes frustrating and more of a chore to set my characters into their correct position.

If you are familiar with Xcom game style of play, this is similar, but with less advanced option, and a shorter story mode. The difficulty is real, even at the lowest setting is fairly difficult. If you are a big fan of the xcom games I would recommend this game, otherwise probably a pass.

on a moment in the game i got so many pop-up infos on the field, that I cannot understand what is happening
I died and then of course drop the game, that was enough for me. I personally wish to see less game with "awesome mecanics" like these

Although it seems like I’ve got more complaints than praise for Invisible, Inc., I ended up enjoying my time with it a great deal. The character designs and futuristic premise are great, and pulling off a win after agonizing over every single action in every single turn feels amazing. It’s a stiff challenge with much patience required on the player’s part, but Invisible, Inc. delivers a deliciously strategic dish—although one that’s probably not to everyone’s taste.

The title has a very solid presentation and promises longevity due to randomization, so strategy fans will undoubtedly enjoy Invisible Inc.

Invisible, Inc. gave me a few moments of feeling brilliant when I actually did manage to complete a mission, but more often than not I was left frustrated by harsh rules and insane difficulty.
